Berry Cream

I really enjoyed this scent, I went in expecting a more fluffy laconic scent but was surprised, this opens as a sweet and fresh strawberry shampoo type scent which I can understand why some wouldn’t like but I love it! Fresh sweet and clean, and the apple and raspberry notes give it a tart edge. It projects decently for a body mist and the lasting power is impressive, on the dry down I get a hint of those laconic creamy notes as well as the ambrette with a hint of vanilla. I agree that it reminded me of a strawberry shortcake doll, I love it personally. If you aren’t a fan of artificial sweet scents then I’d say avoid, but if you love anything girly, super sweet, and fruit then definitely go for it!! 🍓☁️🍨

I was expecting to hate this, didn’t read any reviews online and saw a lot of people preferred the matcha one, but this was an instant buy when I sampled it! Doesn’t come off sickly sweet on my skin, but there’s definitely a moderately strong sugary note! Probably the most feminine scent I own, the bottle colour perfectly represents this fragrance. Smells like vanilla ice cream topped with fresh sweet red berries. I might be cheap, but I don’t think it smells synthetic. I absolutely love this for spring!

I am indifferent about the heavy cream body mist because it wears a bit heavy on me, so I’m not sure what I was expecting and I only bought the 90mL but... WOW!!! It smells incredibly delectable, not sickening or overly synthetic as a gourmand but a little youthful. Could wear in summer or winter :) Will be purchasing the larger size immediately... this is like heavy cream’s little sister that just has a magnetic level of attraction. I adore this

I am normally not a fruit forward fan, but this honestly layers perfectly with scents like Prada Paradoxe and Xuxu. The dry down on this is chefs kiss. I sm glad I added this and Matcha Milk to my collection.

Sweet, fruity, vanilla, lactonic, floral, luminous, feminine, flirty, playful, charming, whimsical, dreamy, delightful, delicious, alluring, tempting, inviting, cozy, comforting On me this opens with a fruity burst of juicy strawberry, sweet yet tart raspberry, and fluffy whipped cream which melts into the heart of creamy milk, tart apple, sweet and powdery violet, and musky hibiscus. The dry down envelopes you in sweet and sparkling sugar, sensual vanilla bean, and the golden warmth of amber. This is quite reminiscent of Burberry Her Elixir de Parfum. I also see Yum Boujee Marshmallow in the reminds me section, but the only similarities that I get are the strawberry and whipped cream. YBM is much better imo, and is one of my very top favorite fragrances. It’s much more fluffy and marshmallow-y, and less fruity which is what makes it so very good imo. I do definitely like Berry Cream, although it’s not a love for me, but I’m still glad to have it in my collection! I’m a huge fan of Phlur’s mists, and currently own most of them. My top 5 are Heavy Cream, Vanilla Nectar, Beach Skin, Vanilla Skin, and Cashmere Skin. I also got Matcha Milk with Berry Cream, and I do prefer Matcha Milk as it’s a super cozy and comforting vanilla matcha latte with touches of macadamia. I also own a couple of their perfumes, Afterglow (which is nice enough) and Honey Moon (which I absolutely love!). I get great performance with Berry Cream, especially considering it’s a mist. The longevity is between moderate and strong as it lasts around 7 hours on my skin. The projection is moderate, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me. I like it but it’s redundant to my collection as I own Thomas Kosmala Candy, Burberry Her Elixir , and Ellis Brooklyn Miss Strawberry which all have very similar dna. This is a fizzy candy berry scent that is just a touch creamier than the aforementioned, but not enough where I would call this a creamy strawberry. The name alludes to a creaminess in the accords which had my expectations set on something similar to Heavy Cream, but lighter and more berry forward for spring& summer —this is not that. Like I said, I like it, but it’s redundant and not really a new dna. The brands are getting lazy. I had this same gripe with Miss Strawberry which was advertised as a strawberry-matcha-hinoki scent—I thought I was getting a spa-like green strawberry but I got Burberry Her Elixir .

Agree with others who described the strawberry/raspberry here as boozy and synthetic. Drydown however is dazzling! A pleasant blending of milk/cream and vanilla. Most floral notes have by this point been sweetened enough to make for a powdery/floury/doughy aroma. Final Verdict: Had the 90ml bottle for a month now. From OK to a firm Like. Only wish the tart, jammy red fruit filling were scaled down a bit and allowed simmering lactonic notes to play the lead throughout.

I surprisingly really enjoy this as i usually don’t with strawberry forward fragrances. This smells artificial but in a good way, like...nostalgically. It smells like the Strawberry Shortcake toy that was scented with strawberries, and because of that, i miss when i actually liked the color pink. I think at some point i might purchase this for the sake of my inner child

It’s giving little doll strawberry. Wouldn’t wear her out but i love wearing her to bed and mixing her with heavy cream. Didn’t care much for the matcha one but I really like this one. It’s fresh and sweet and cute.

I wanted to smell like strawberry milkshake and blind bought this but all i smell is violet milk and florals!!! This had so much potential but disappointed me, my mom said I smelled like some type of winter tea..

Blind buy cause I like strawberry matcha.. Like most people say it does smell artificial.. I was expecting this to last like 10 mins upon spraying but suprisingly it lasts a long time.. gives me a headache

strawberry shampoo vibes and no lactonic elements it. That being said I liked this :) but if you have expensive taste this may feel cheap to you.

Its fine, its a berry scent, slightly tart and creamy. Absolutely not worth a full bottle but no hate.

This is nice. I like it over some of the "skin" ones.

This smells very synthetic and dense at first kinda like a strawberry cough medicine or something. It drys down it becomes a bit less synthetic and more like berrys and cream but still extremely sweet and kinda powdery. Doesn’t really project or last at all even on clothing. Matcha milk doesn’t smell like matcha either but when mixed with this it does somehow. Not sure id wear this on its own. Edit: this smells like how a strawberry mentos tastes

not bad at all, very strawberry milk, burberry her esque. i would buy the matcha milk one though over this one, personally

just smells like strawberry candy or the strawberry body wash from the body shop. i don't get milk or cream unfortunately

Berry Cream is an extremely misleading name. Don’t expect any sweet creamy berry dessert type scent, this smells purely like a cheap maybe nostalgic berry shampoo soapy type scent. Lacking any sort of gourmand/creamy note and is just a basic fruity fresh with a soapy floral. Again smells like this was developed for a drugstore shampoo/haircare brand rather than a huge fragrance house like Phlur. You should be paying $5 maximum to smell like this. Phlur needs to stop releasing things just for cash grabs and spend more time perfecting their scents before releasing them. These did not live up to the description and notes listed and could have been infinitely better had they put in more time developing the formula, because it seems like they just made maybe a couple versions and then just said yeah whatever let’s just release it before the trend is over and make some quick money.

i smelt this knowing i wouldn't be a fan because i'm generally not into super sweet fragrances. and yeah this is suuuuuper sweet strawberry, but more like an artificial strawberry sweet/candy. if you're expecting something that smells real don't even bother with this. there's also something quite cheap smelling about it to, and it's not because it uses artificial strawberry, it's just something else. compared to it's duo matcha milk, it didn't last anywhere near as long on me, barely an hour i'd say. just a flop imo, maybe a younger crowd could see enjoyment out of it but does a young person really need a £25 or £38 depending on the size, bottle of body mist? just go get them a bottle of britney's fantasy or an ariana grande fragrance instead if your younger one is getting interested in sweet fragrances.

I know I shouldddd try it on my skin before I write it off, but this is an insanely synthetic, plasticy sweet mess. It actually almost made me gag?? I always silently disagreed with the "fast fragrance" commentary surrounding Phlur the past several months but this makes me agree more. Oddly enough, I absolutely love the matcha body mist, this one's sidekick... maybe I should try that strawberry matcha one EB came out with? Might be happy with that one... I do tend to be a Phlur loyalist tho but I clearly don't glaze

I’m not a fan of this one. I wouldn’t say it smells bad but it’s not something I like. My husband compliments it when I wear it but for me personally it’s not my vibe. But I am not much of a gourmand lover and I don’t really like berry scents so that pretty much explains it haha if you like sweet fruity scents, and a gourmand fan you will love this

Probably the first Phlur body mist I really don’t care for. It’s very fruity sweet but the extreme tartness combined with the ambery drydown is way too much for me. If there was at least something powdery cutting through the sweet&sour fruitiness or if it was turned down by at least 50%, I wouldn’t mind that much. Sadly a pass for me.

This is a berry shampoo / hairspray kind of vibe. It’s smells juvenile and cheap. There’s no creaminess in it I’m surprised they called it berry cream it should jut be called berries . It’s also strangely very floral as well. 👎👎 completely CATFISHED by this. The name is mislabeled.

I tried but this really is kinda....vile? The reviews are right lol. Screechy, not creamy. Dries down to that cloud-ish DNA which I also personally don't like. Sharp, scratchy, red berry, amber body splash from Claire's vibes I actually love almost every single thing Phlur has made. This one really surprised me in a bad way. They're capable of doing fun/juvenile without it being headache-inducing (Vanilla Nectar). I imagine they'll quietly clear this one from the increasingly bloated lineup rather quickly.

as a pretty devoted fan of phlur, this is such a massive miss. it smells cheap and it’s so cloyingly sweet that it’s unwearable. i had to scrub it off after a minute because it was so bad. it honestly reminds me of that kinda trashy coworker or roommate you had back in like 2010 who would drown herself in cheap strawberry body spray in an attempt to cover up the smell of sweat, smoke, and bad decisions from the night before.

Gag-inducing hyper-sweet synthetic berry amalgamation, like rotten children's cough syrup...drying down exactly like Burberry Her Elixir. I am a hyper sweet lover, but this is smells like a cheap $5 target body spray. Actually that is an insult to $5 body sprays like bodycology! I take it back lol! A shame that this is the longest lasting spray from Phlur.

THANK YOU. i was trying to figure out what this reminded me of and it was that. i hate it LOL

I like Phlur but I was displeased at the scent quality of this one. It smells glaringly cheap and low quality...something I have never thought before about a Phlur scent. I was looking forward to smelling this, but it's a hard pass for me.

Strawberry hairspray, not a fan. Smells like something you'd pick up from Walmart when you are 12 years old with your besties

I hated this at first and literally recoiled when I sprayed it, but to my utter surprise, after wearing it a few times, love it, and find myself sniffing it compulsively. I have tried a lot from Phlur and this is my favorite, though the name is a bit of a misnomer. Imo it’s not creamy or lactonic AT ALL. In fact, it’s an extremely tart, sour berry that mostly smells like raspberry to me, not strawberry. It’s so unsweet it almost gives a rosy vibe instead. It has a distinct, sharp violet note, a touch of apple, and a little ambrette to make it fluffy. It has nothing to do with super sweet synthetic strawberry scents such as YBM or strawberry jam from 7 virtues, has nothing to do with dolls, though there is the barest whiff of that ethyl maltol goodness a few hours in. This is a lot more mature and “challenging,” in my opinion, because it’s got something ever so slightly funky in the dry down that I can’t put my finger on. There’s a scene in the movie American Hustle where the character played by Jennifer Lawrence can’t stop smelling her nail polish. She says it’s floral with an undertone of garbage, and it’s addictive. I can’t stop thinking about that every time I wear this, LOL. Lasts ages, you’d never know it was a body spray. Fantastic.

got this as a gift for my birthday from my best friendd with the matcha one in the set. its slightly artificial but i do smell the cream despite what a lot of other reviews are saying. its definitely very strawberry forward but it has that phlur dna that i'm not a huge fan of. i've only noticed it in the body mists, and the more pricier edps dont have that sourness to them. this one smells pretty good though at least in comparison to heavy cream or vanilla skin. not as lactonic as i would've wished, but its a bright, strawberry candy with a hint of vanilla in my opinion. as it dries down it gets softer and more lovely so i do see myself wearing this often in the future

Somebody already mentioned it in the comments here but it smells exactly like the old strawberry lotion from The Body Shop. I personally love that (super nostalgic), but yes, artificial and very sweet. NOT creamy. It's sharp actually. There’s really nothing lactonic about this

This is not nice. Artificial berries, goes sour after a while and annoys the nose. I didn't enjoy it at all. I wouldn't say it resembles Burberry her, this is not strawberry and no, it's also not duping YBM. There are similarities, but they're long distance cousins!

They’re right, smells exactly like the v05 strawberry shampoo and conditioner. Though the hate unnecessary, considering how similar it is to burberry her elixir. It’s definitely more of a floral berry rather than the dessert we were led to believe it is but not bad!

It does what it says on the tin, it's very much a creamy strawberry milkshake, but a rather artificial one. I wouldn't want to smell like that. It would be nice as a first fragrance for an 8 year old, nothing beyond that I fear!

Reminds me of a strawberry daiquiri. Its sweet, berry and bright but there is something boozy about it too like a cocktail. Its not bad, marketing it as berry "cream" is weird tho cause theres nothing Lactonic about it.

I smelled this in a shop, not on my skin so maybe it would’ve been better on there, but it reminded me of medicine? If any of you have had strawberry calpol, this smelled exactly like that to me.

Smells like they kinda mixed Heavy cream and Vanilla Blackberry but sub in a strawberry note. I like it so far but its not a love yet. Vanilla skin and vanilla nectar remain my top Phlur mists.

Pains me to say but something about my bottle smells off, rancid and like dirt encrusted BO. I've been testing for a couple days and this is not hyperbole. Hoping this changes.

Not my cup of tea but not bad! Smells like those creme saver candy’s but with a fresh, shampoo aspect, like some soap you would smell in a spa or hotel with a touch of florals.
