The dry down envelopes you in a soft, fluffy, and cozy musk, warm ambrette, and a balsamic woody touch of Peru balsam that also adds a gentle depth. It’s like being wrapped in your coziest, softest, and most luxurious sweater laced with warm, musky, ambery vanilla and almond. Really beautiful, super cozy and totally comforting! This is such a perfect cozy scent for fall and winter. A very easy reach that’s easy to wear and non-offensive. It’s perfect for casual occasions, anytime you want something cozy feeling, and suitable for work and/or school. This feels quite feminine to me, and suitable for any age. I’m a big fan of these Phlur mists, and I own several of them including Heavy Cream, Cashmere Skin, Beach Skin, Vanilla Blackberry, Vanilla Skin, Caramel Skin, Vanilla Nectar, Amber Haze, and Vanilla Smoke. Heavy Cream and Cashmere Skin are tied for my favorite, followed closely by Vanilla Nectar! I do get some similarities to some of the fragrances listed in the “reminds me” section to a greater or lesser degree with Heavy Cream, Missing Person, VS Bare Sueded Vanilla, Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere, Fresh Cream, B&BW Cashmere Glow, and Rice Flower & Shea. To me, it does smell like Victoria’s Secret Bare sueded vanilla + Dior hypnotic poison. I wouldn’t say it is a dupe for VS BSV - but in the dry down they are definitely similar. Just like Bare sueded Vanilla, this takes a smoky vanilla and sheers it out, softens it and makes it more creamy and skin like. I don’t smell Phlur missing person, but I can see that vibe as they’re both musky, clean fragrances, but nothing alike imo. I really love this and it smells even better with Phlur Vanilla Skin or Milk by Commodity. * this is one you have to let sit. When I first tried it I did get an almond Play-Doh fragrance, but it was like the next time I wore it, it was a complete different fragrance. It was creamier and spicier - and had more depth.

I have a lot of body mists but this is my first ever review on one. I always thought Vanilla Skin was there top but Cashmere is just glorious. This needs a perfume version right now! But anyway- even the mist lasts forever. I can smell it on my hair the next day, on my pillow for days. And if anyone told you all those lavender mists smelled like a sweater.. come closer- they lied! This complex blend of bitter-sweet notes like almond and vanilla, cozy balsamic undertones and overall warmth and depth makes this scent just pure masterpiece. I bought so many expensive perfumes lately and this mist is all I use most days. Btw layered with Commodity Milk Orchid or Milk+ OMG!

I'm absolutely obsessed with this scent; it's my second product from Phlur, and it didn't disappoint at all. I was a little worried by the reviews that said it smelled like synthetic Play-Doh. And I think I can see why they associate it with that smell, but I'm so grateful that's not the case for me. This is the sweetest, softest, most comforting, sexy, and delicate scent I've ever smelled. It instantly became one of my favorites. If they made a perfume, but kept this airy and soft characteristic, I would definitely buy the bottle.

I appreciate the scent of Phlur’s Heavy Cream body mist but can’t tolerate wearing it on myself. To me, Cashmere Skin would aptly be named “Light Cream” because it smells like an airier, less overwhelming Heavy Cream. I was totally anosmic to it when I tried to test it in Sephora, but after sooooo many people said such great things about it I decided to just try taking it home and once I did I was in love. Great for layering or wearing solo if you want to smell warm and cozy.

A lovely, soft, and comforting scent that I imagine can be suitable to wear anytime of year (not overly sweet). On skin, it fades after a few hours and dries down to an intimate, soft, creamy vanilla. However, I've noticed the scent subtly lingers on my clothes even after washing them in the laundry. I don’t get a playdoh smell, unless I really search for it, and even then, I don’t really get that. Hope this will be available as an EDP someday!

This is not similar to SDJ Cheriosa 59 or VS Bare Sueded Vanilla AT ALL (in my opinion). I’m quite surprised to see how many people are comparing them. SDJ 59 and Bare Sueded Vanilla have a sweeter, vanillic and sugary vibe. Whereas Cashmere Skin is more musky and subtly sweet, which is so nicely rounded out by the almond- well blended. This is a fresh, warm, sheer musk with a little hint of vanilla and creamy almond.

This smells like heaven on my skin! I am obsessed! It smells like Missing Person, Heavy Cream, and Dior Hypnotic Poison all rolled into one but very light and airy. It’s the coziest most comforting scent I own. I feel like I have been waiting for this exact scent my whole life LOL. Just so soft and pretty!! This needs to be turned into a perfume with a matching lotion, shower gel, and deodorant stat!

I love almond, cyclamen and ambrette so I was excited about this one. It’s just so sheer kind of shocked at the ratings... I’m sure someone who enjoys sheer, light and neutral scents will enjoy this but I just don’t know how this could be worth the $ when it disappears so immediately. I didn’t love heavy cream, but both of them compared side by side I can’t even smell Cashmere Skin. Disappointing 😔

Cashmere tends to be here for a good time and vanish fast. Its good but maybe ill let it sit awhile. Smells similar to heavy cream with vanilla skin. But that projects more. Still nice for my collection. I get no playdoh. Edit: i cannot layer with other mists. Causes my skin to burn up. On its own its ok. But i prefer heavy cream and vanilla skin..Will pry use it for my hair only.

The musk, vanilla, cashmere and almond create this lovely cozy, creamy, sweet everyday scent. I keep sniffing this on myself whenever I wear it. It would layer perfectly with Fresh Cream warm cashmere (cashmere skin is like a lighter more musky version of it). Absolutely no idea how others pick up playdo in this but scent is subjective. Highly recommend!

Truly lives up to its name, it is simply how I would expect cashmere skin to smell. I spray this most often when I’ve just gotten ready for bed, because it’s really everything I want when cuddled up at home: cozy, comforting, warm, a little sweet, with a moderate scent bubble. I can’t stop smelling my clothes when wearing this, it’s just so good.

I don't get any similarities to Hypnotic Poison, the only thing they have in common is almond, but I get no coconut or play-dough here at all. Instead, it's like a mix between Missing Person and Heavy Cream, but softer and dialed down. It's very cozy and has a hint of creamy vanilla as well, and it lasts forever in my hair.

When this arrived I had to try it right away and the bottle was ice cold. The play dough note was highly noticeable. However, once it sat on warm skin and the bottle warmed up it faded. It’s a very creamy, almond, fresh white sweater out of the dryer scent. Would even pair well in the spring with something coconuty.

initially smells like slept-in fake tan, as it opens with almond & vanilla sweetness. lasts for a very short while before settling on the skin as a warm, powdery 'cashmere' musk. yet another phlur scent that costs too much for a longevity it does not provide.

I really like this body mist, it smells sooo nice and comforting, the thing is it doesn't last at all. Maybe 1 to 2 hours max. I know its not a perfume, but i have many body mist that last longer. I need to reapply so often because I love the smell!

This starts very nutty and clean, and dries down with a creamy vanilla. There is a subtle musk present through out the whole wear. Its very light and I use it as layering hair mist to add some extra vanilla. I love wearing it at night as well.

This is one of the best smelling body mists I have used but you should love almond and vanilla notes to enjoy this scent. I wish Phlur would make this in a perfume version as unfortunately the longevity of this body mist is quite poor.

This is so soft and cozy. It’s the perfect scent imo. I get how some people smell play doh, but that honestly just makes it more cozy and nostalgic to me, and it’s really not that reminiscent of it. We need an EDP of this!!

This is Phulr’s best fragrance hands down! This is a beautiful scent. To me this smells like whipped cream with almonds on top. It’s a skin scent but she is amazing. You can truly smell how complex the fragrance is! 10/10!

Warm, cozy, absolutely nails sweater weather vibes. As with all of Phlur's body mists, I wish it performed better, but I don't mind reapplying, and especially love it for an after-shower/bedtime scent!

smells exactly like fresh cream warm cashmere by philosophy. layering the two is a perfect way to smell sweet and feminine all day. will definitely get more when i run out. love love love.

This is exactly what I was expecting from L’Occitane almond mist, that one was a big miss for me. This scent is creamy and is sweet without being overbearing.

It's the best out of all the Phlur body mists in my honest opinion. Easy to wear and layer. Not too vanillic either so it doesn't feel redundant.

I know this is going to sound strange, but this is what I imagine a barn owl in the snow to smell like. Beautiful! I'm in love

Smells amazing but I wish it came in an EDP!

This body mist smells very familiar, like a place you visited in your childhood. It reminds me of walking into a bunch of furniture shops when I was younger and getting wafts of cozy fabrics? A bit peculiar and slightly off putting at first if you're not the biggest fan of almond scents. However, once you spray it a few times, the smell transforms into a cozy, slightly vanillic scent profile with a musky base. It blends into my skin nicely and goes slightly peppery on skin compared to spraying it on clothes or hair. A lot of people say it doesn't last very a long time, but I think this scent profile should be like that, as it's a more quiet and introverted fragrance. I can totally see what people mean by this fragrance smelling like play dough but I feel like it's so much more balanced and refined with a slightly powdery quality. A lot of people mistake powder for play dough, and while I can see what they mean, this body mist has so much more depth that I think it would be worth giving it a smell. A great take on a your skin but better scent profile with a slightly gourmand approach!

I am delighted to have finally received it, as I was very curious to smell it! To my nose this is quite sweet. I was expecting a body mist more along the woody/smoky lines of Vanilla Skin, however the almond and cream note make this fragrance more gentle and gourmand. Smelling it from my wrist, what comes to mind is a mix between Missing Person - which I recognised from the opening spray, I guess from the musk and cyclamen note - and Hypnotic Poison - a very sensual almond vanilla -. The almond here is soft, sweet and musky and definitely predominant. Overall, I really enjoy this body mist; it’s comforting and pleasant. However, I do find the name Cashmere Skin a bit misleading. I expected something more along the lines of a woody, fresh cashmere sweater type of scent, and this is quite different from that.

I get no play doh but a subtle vanilla on my skin from this one. It smells warm and clean, a perfect "your skin but better" scent. I think it's performance is still impressive for a body spray, but doesn't project as well as beach and coconut skin. This is the perfect scent for days you don't want to wear perfume or smell like anything.

I bought a mini size of this and fell in love with it. It is such a soft, creamy, comforting, slightly sweet scent - an incredibly easy reach. Unfortunately, after some time I started to smell a play dough note and now it's all I can smell. I won't be repurchasing but it IS beautiful. Just didn't get along with my skin over time.

Everyone saying this reminds them of ‘Hypnotic Poison’ but I’m getting Moncler Femme. I personally don’t see it, but many have said HP and MF smell similar; so I can absolutely get how many have drawn the relation to ‘Cashmere Skin.’ This and MF have this cool Vanillic airy quality that make them so beautiful. 🥰

VERY subtle, close to the skin musk fragrance with a touch of creamy sweetness. The almond note comes across as almost marshmallow-like without being too sugary or gourmand. A little too light for me but still very pretty. To me, not reminiscent of Hypnotic Poison at all (no rootbeer to be found here!).

Gifted this to someone, and, when they sprayed it on me; smelt great. Creamy vanilla and almond. The prominent almond takes what would have been a redundant fragrance into something interesting. Everyday scent. The person loved it and also said that it (name-fittingly) left her hand kind of smooth?!

Smells good... i think? I can barely smell it! It really does smell like Dior Hypnotic Poison, which I don't like at all... however it is so soft it is tolerable. Playdoh-y vanilla with some florals.

Meh. Thought I liked it but it was just slightly too sweet for a skin scent (and I’m a gourmand lover). I prefer Heavy Cream for some reason. Off my wishlist for now.

My sister's favourite fragrance that I own. But to me this is just ok. Don't get me wrong, it's not something that I hate and actually I like wearing this fragrance to bed sometimes. It doesn't have good longevity unfortunately. and there's just other perfumes that my nose loves a lot more. My sis wants a perfume version of this and tbh I agree!

More or less, it's SDJ 59 or VS Bare Sueded Vanilla. Literally the instant I sniffed it I was like "Oh, it's that". I love almost everything from Phlur but I returned immediately because I've smelled this formula so much recently. Redundant and not worth the price.

Really pretty scent but for the life of me I could not get this to last longer than 30 minutes on my skin. Seems like others typically are getting more longevity out of this than I did in my experience which is making me want to try again, but idk

I said this smelled like cherry and then I realized it was the ALMOND note 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮

This opens nice, then dries down to playdoh. What the actual fuck? But if you like that kind of fragrance, this will be right up your alley. Unfortunately, it’s not mine. I’ll give it another shot on my clothes and hair (it might just be a skin chemistry issue), but I was really disappointed. Edit: sprayed on my clothes/hair, more of the same. Like I SEE where they were trying to go with this, but I don’t like it at all. It smells a lot like missing person, but with playdoh. It’s a very odd fragrance. Not really what I was expecting. I’ll likely be returning or giving this away.

Initially I tried this in shop on a card and liked the scent - it didn't blow me away, but it was nice. A few days later I went back, to test it on my skin this time. I don't know what it is - my skin chemistry, my nose, scent associations - but on my skin this smells like straight Play-Doh. Once I made the connection I literally couldn't stop smelling it as that, even well into the dry down. Sadly this one is a no for me. I just can't bear to smell like Play-Doh, even quite pretty smelling Play-Doh.

i’m not sure what went wrong with my experience of this. i think the vanilla is too saccharine for me, and it’s cloying regardless of how slight i spritz it. i wanted this to work, i even tried to push past the fact that it smelled like playdough on me, but it didn’t resolve and i had to return it.

I’m from the minority who does not like this scent. Strong play doh vibe , with a woody drydown. Doesn’t smell as clean and cozy as advertised. Also does not compare to my beloved Bare vanilla.

At first spray I thought I might like this.. it’s nice and smooth. But it’s turned into a softer TF vanilla sex, mixed with hypnotic poison and play doh. Returned!

Smells just like Pacifica Silver Moon.. Almond notes just don't work out for me. They smell too much like PlayDoh to me.

This actually smells like straight up playdoh. I never really understood what people were saying when they said a fragrance smells like playdoh until now. Opening is playdoh, dry down is playdoh. No thanks. Returned. Hours later, it does remind me of Missing Person which I also don't like, so take that with a grain of salt.

this smells absolutely nothing like bare sueded vanilla idk why someone would even compare the 2 yall have to stop misleading people and going by similar notes assuming a fragrance would be the same as another. it’s so annoying but anywho this absolutely smells like hypnotic poison and im not mad at it exactly considering this is the fraction of the price for a full bottle but i barely use the bottle that i have now so i dont see myself wearing / reaching for this often :// however ! im always layering and always on the hunt for perfumes/ other fragrances that can make another shine which is one of the many reasons i love layering so when i find a banging combo for this ill be back until this im giving this a solid 7/10. UPDATE: i fucking love this!! like it’s gotten to the point i wear this to work and bed OFTEN. i layered this with snowflakes & cashmere by b&bw + freedom musk santal by kayali and my god i just can’t get enough & it garnishes sooooo many compliments no joke! i think i can finally say i have found my favorite phlur mist & would absolutely LOVE to have this as an EDP. 10/10 ( new rating)
