Sweet, fluffy, vanilla, lactonic, powdery, warm, creamy, airy, coconut, softly citrusy, feminine, sensual, flirty, charming, whimsical, dreamy, delightful, inviting, cozy, comforting On me this opens sweet and powdery with fluffy marshmallow and just a hint of citrusy and bright lemon and orange. As it starts drying down the creamy coconut and golden warmth of amber intertwine nicely with the marshmallow and citrusy notes. Once it’s fully dried down it grows more lactonic and decadent as you become wrapped in sweet and airy whipped cream, sensual vanilla, and creamy caramel. The notes that are the most prominent on me are the marshmallow, coconut, whipped cream, vanilla, and caramel. I’m a big fan of gourmand scents, and particularly of marshmallow ones, so I absolutely had to get this! It was a blind buy for me, and definitely a successful one! I’ve had this for about a year now, and I still don’t get anything like spoiled milk coming from it. It’s just a really pretty, sweet, and delightful fluffy marshmallow and whipped cream/lactonic vanilla scent. The caramel in this is similar to that in Caramel Skin, so there’s a slightly buttery scent from it, except here it’s much softer. I have had this for about a year now, and have never gotten anything “spoiled”, or “vomit-like” from this. I have several Phlur mists, and really enjoy them: Heavy Cream, Cashmere Skin, Vanilla Nectar, Beach Skin (my favorites), Vanilla Blackberry, Vanilla Skin, Caramel Skin, Coconut Skin, and Vanilla Smoke. I’m looking forward to trying more of them, especially the newest ones! As for the “reminds me” section, I do see some similarities to VS Coconut Passion, Replica Afternoon Delight, SDJ Coco Cabana, and Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere. I don’t think it’s particularly similar to Snowflakes & Cashmere, or Gold Sugar, but I can see why someone might be reminded of Gold Sugar (it’s my favorite of the fragrances in the Pink Sugar line, and one that I keep a backup bottle of). Sweet, creamy, slightly citrusy, powdery, fluffy, delicious, feminine, sensual, flirty, whimsical, dreamy, yummy, delectable, delightful, cozy, comforting On me I get sweet, fluffy, and sugary marshmallows, a touch of bright and citrusy sugared lemon and orange, creamy coconut, sensual vanilla, airy whipped cream, rich and buttery caramel, and warm golden amber. It’s creamy and delightfully yummy gourmand lovers dream. The notes that are the most prominent on me are marshmallow, vanilla, whipped cream, caramel, and coconut. I’m a big fan of these Phlur mists, and also own Vanilla Skin, Caramel Skin, Beach Skin, Coconut Skin, and Vanilla Smoke. They’re all super good imo, except for Vanilla Smoke. Heavy Cream is actually my favorite though because I’m a big fan of gourmands, particularly ones with marshmallow. I get the same rich and buttery caramel in this as I do in Caramel Skin, but here it’s a much softer version. The coconut is also more creamy and lactonic than anything tropical like in Beach Skin or Coconut Skin I’ve had this for around 6 months now, and I just get a very delightful, super yummy, and creamy lactonic gourmand. It’s never come off as spoiled, even after it’s macerated. I do see at least some similarities with VS Coconut Passion (the most similar imo), SDJ Coco Cabana, Replica Afternoon Delight, Ellis Brooklyn Marshmallows, and Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere, all of which I also own. Blind buy for me. I've never smelled anything more coconut focused than this. Truly, the name is misleading, this should have been called Coconut is King. The beginning strikes me as a CSP photocopy of Coco Extreme. It's strong for a body mist. The citrus is pretty much invisible. I wish I smelled it, but I don't. The scent contains a floral accent, it smells like Tiare too me, definitely not Jasmine. Slowly some vanilla whipped cream shows up, but the coconut never leaves. The silage is good for a body mist, and so is the lasting powder. Eventually the dry down becomes delicious and more like a coconut ice cream. The dry down is the part that I prefer. I don't know how some people smelled spoiled milk, yogurt, vomit, or anything of the kind. There isn't anything sour in this, at least not on my skin. The presentation is truly hideous, sadly. I don't think I've ever seen such a tactless display of simplicity in a truly ugly manner. A transparent plastic bottle, rounded, not even a nice top, and the liquid inside is watery with a slightly yellow tinge. Need I say more, what it looks like? It's just so ugly, that if I saw it in the store I would never pick it up to smell it. The price is high, $52 plus tax for a 236 ml bottle, but if you like the scent then it's worth it. Overall, I can only recommend it for those that like coconut forward scents, beach scents, tropical sunscreen type of perfumes. Slowly, it's becoming addictive. Who knew. I can't stop smelling myself.

For an entire week after I received this, I smelled nothing but salty buttered popcorn and easy cheese, then one day it miraculously changed for me (only for me, not for a friend who smelled it in both stages, so I don't think the mist itself changed). Now I'm getting the sugar, the orange, the vanilla and cream, with just a hint of saltiness. It smells like buttercream and yes, can smell a bit like yogurt at times, but is overall a pleasant scent and I don't regret the purchase anymore; however, I don't see myself reaching for it as often as Vanilla Skin. I'm slightly scared to wear this in public because I'm not sure who around me is going to perceive it as a salty butter scent. Do NOT blind buy, but if you hate it at first, let it sit for some time and then give it another chance, you may just get lucky like I did. edit: another week later and this is a gorgeous yummy vanilla lactonic scent, the salty, buttery notes are gone and it definitely lives up to its name. this would definitely be cloying in warm weather so proceed with caution. may just be worth a purchase of the full bottle...

So I LOVE THIS! Now hear me out, I don’t actually like to wear this the way you would think. I have found that by itself it’s very meh, sometimes I can smell it, sometimes it’s very faint, sometimes it’s too tangy, othertimes I only get the citrus beginning... basically to me, this is a hot news on its own. BUT layered, this is chef’s kiss! Any perfume or body mist I want to make creamy, a couple of spritz of this changes the entire game. I legit smell all the top notes when I use it for layering AND I’M OBSESSED with making all my perfumes creamy now lol. It’s so so good with body mists you want creamier like Ouai St Barts, Phlur Caramel Skin, SJD62, or to amplify perfumes with a cream base like Oriana, the new Yara, LDBS, devotion, the new Britney Spears flanker, or even to make a sugary creamy vanilla delight mixed with Bianco Latte, Kayali vanilla 28, dua huffletuft white milk. AND i find that when i spray it with some of these longer lasting perfumes, it lasts as long as they do! Highly highly recommend trying to layer this with your existing collection!

This right here is a masterpiece. Also, I’ve been WAITING for fragrantica to put up this fragrance. Heavy Cream is delicious. It smells like sticky sweet yellow frosting. The kind that’s sooooo sweet, but somehow tastes so good. It smells like a coconut puff pastry. It smells like butter cake or merengue. This scent is so complex, yet so familiar. I love it. It will remind you of so many familiar and well-loved baked goods. This gourmand is top notch and I think it’s totally worth it. It’s a monster fragrance, you’ll be able to smell it all day. The bottle is huge for how much you’re getting / paying for. On top of that, this fragrance is simply just a gourmand. Simple and sweet. No woodiness, no musk, NOTHING, just straight up, pastries!!!! If smelling like a bakery is your goal, purchase this. If Heavy Cream has no fans, then I am dead. I highly, highly recommend Heavy Cream. It’s so warm, spunky, tart, sweet, and and lactonic. Ugh so good.

this was a complete blind buy - it's not available in my country and i asked my sister to pick up some phlur body sprays while she was in the UK. spoilers: i love it so much. i actually love it more than vanilla skin - her more popular older sister. heavy cream reads as creamy and sweet on me - it's not nauseatingly gourmand though the lactonic quality may turn stomachs for those who don't like a milky scent. i wish this was more powerful and lasted longer, she is on the lower side of moderate. it just reads as.. creamy marshmallows boiled in milk, with a vanilla pod and the tiniest, bittiest of shredded coconut. as someone who picks out jasmine in scents very quickly and hates most fragrances with jasmine - i don't smell any jasmine here, surprised to see it as a note. also i don't get any orange. 3.5/5, would be a 4.5 if projection and longevity was better! holding space for them to make it into a perfume that can perform stronger :)

OH DIVINE! Perfect. I can layer it with SO MANY of my favorite perfumes, I can’t describe how much I’m obsessed with it. This is my second most used body mist in my 65+ body mist collection? With Phlur vanilla skin being number one most used. This baby is the cherry on top of the cake in my fragrance layering routine. I can’t describe the scent, it’s like smooth, creamy, whipped cream deliciousness, you have to try it I can’t give it justice. I honestly got obsessed with it after I saw how much it enhanced my post shower self care routine, although I loved it from first sniff. Immediately got backup even though I’m not a fan of having backups especially not for permanent product, but I just couldn’t run out of it & not having a backup there. You either love it or don’t, to me it’s a safe blindbuy. It’s rare to have an OMG LOVE from first sniff & this definitely deserved that. Enough rambling, goodbye :)

I didn’t like this at first, during the high humidity and high heat predominant weather in FL. Smelled plastic. I tried it again when the temperature was around 75 degrees and less humidity. I love it. It’s now a staple in my collection. This is a fluffy coconut cream. Very fresh and airy and the scent bubble is lovely. This is my favorite gym and layering scent during cooler weather (50-75 degrees) It’s very clean and airy sweet. I also let my bottle sit for about a month after spraying it out a couple times. Found this has worked with most of my fragrances. I’m sensitive to scents and this does not irritate my sensitivity to musk, amber or florals. This fragrance last 3-4 hours on me. 💓Layering combos: Kayali Yum Marshmallow, LORE Sublimity, Ellis Brooklyn Marshmallows, Ellis Brooklyn Queens Caramel, Commodity Milk Expressive, Le Mond Gourmond Lait De Coco

Let me just say, this in ice-cold weather is absolutely heavenly. I wore this on Boxing Day after receiving it as a gift from my mother-in-law, and wow. It lingers beautifully in cool temperatures and I was showered with compliments all day. Everyone kept telling me how amazing I smelled and asking to spray this on themselves. It’s the softest, fluffiest vanilla marshmallow with frothy milk, a caramel drizzle and just a tiny hint of lemon to keep it light. So pretty and feminine. It can lean sexy if you want it to, or feel perfectly at home worn with cosy pyjamas on the sofa. Super versatile and incredibly comforting. I cannot wait to experiment with layering combinations using this one. I imagine it'll go really well with Eclair, Sweet Tooth and Yum Boujie. Heavy Cream is already a cold-weather favourite for me.

I read the reviews and damn 💀 I guess I’m the only one who loves this. To me, it smells like a milky, lemony cheesecake! I’m especially obsessed with how it dries down on my skin. Initial spray is creamy and milk forward. It is addicting, inviting, and so cozy. I can’t stop sniffing myself. The projection and sillage is not much, but I’m not sure if this would be safe for the office. I’m gonna wear it though. I do smell the “sour” scent other ppl smell, but it doesn’t bother me, it’s not sour or expired milk. Like I mentioned, it’s more of a lemon/orange cheesecake smell (not like a cleaning product either). I’m def purchasing this and I may layer it with my other gourmands like Bianco Latte or Lattafa Eclaire. I think I'd even pair this with summery scents like Ouai St. Barts as well.

I love this fragrance so mf bad. It’s sweet and musky and milky and coconut-y, I genuinely believe this is a year round fragrance depending on how you layer it. For spring, I’m layering with Phlur Berry Cream. Delicious. Summer will be Nest Balinese Coconut, fall will be MLM No. 13 + Choco Musk, and winter will be Commodity Milk Bold. Truly limitless layering opportunities, and if it’s one of your favourite aspects of fragrance like myself, I REALLY recommend picking this up. On its own, it smells a bit sunscreenish, but I’ve been searching for my perfect sunscreen scent for a while so I am NOTTT complaining. Has the typical Phlur DNA. My favourite of their body mists, and I’ve owned almost all of them.

This is a really really nice creamy scent. In the opening, you do get a hint of the citrus notes, which on some people might come across as sour milk. However after the fragrance settles down, it turns creamy, coconutty, with vanilla and whipped cream. To me this isnt incredibly sweet, just very lactonic and creamy. I'd say this is not blind buy safe as this is a very perculiar scent that is difficult to describe and even by the notes, its hard to know what this smells like. I like to layer this with mod vanilla by Ariana Grande. During warm weather this scent can be cloying so this is more a cold weather fragrance. Overall i do really love this scent.

After reading a lot of the reviews here, I was hesitant to purchase this. But it got good reviews on Amazon, Sephora, and Reddit, so I decided to give it a try. And I LOVE it! I don't get any soured milk or baby spit-up at all. I just get fluffy, sweet, a little lactonic marshmallow-y goodness. I hope I don't smell like baby vomit to other people. lol But to me, this is so so good. It also lasts ages on clothes and has good projection. I also love Vanilla Skin, Cashmere Skin, and Vanilla Nectar so maybe Phlur's mists work well with my chemistry. I just love this and how it's a sweet, fluffy fragrance with no woody notes.

Oh man this was a blind buy WIN ! Love on first sniff. Glad I didn’t go off the ratings, often they’re misleading. Much more coconut heavy than I’d expected but I love it coconut heavy cream that’s been whipped up . Very lactonic and depending on skin chemistry the scent can change up . Today I am getting something a bit sour like others have claimed but it did went away and yesterday I didn’t get it. Either way, I love this - I’m gonna have to get a back up because I can already envision myself wearing this all day everyday , for bed and for layering with others to give it more lactonic-ness. Ah what a dream!

i adore this so much. it pairs beautifully with almost any gourmand and layers effortlessly with everything i try it with. i end up using it pretty much every day, just in different ways depending on my mood. this was the first time i felt genuinely obsessed with a scent after testing it. i kept smelling my wrist the entire time i was walking around the mall, even hours later. it stuck with me so much that i could not stop thinking about it, and i ended up buying it about a week later while i was still traveling. it is just really hard not to love. a versatile complimentary scent.

This smells exactly like Demeter's creamy milky scent, ever so slightly metallic like canned cream but not too sweet and not as concentrated. Makes a fantastic layer on top of pretty much any other perfume that isn't lactonic already. If you have ANY other cream/milk concentrates, you don't really need this. They're all about the same with nuances of sweet, metallic, vanillic etc. However, if you're looking for a less concentrated and shorter lived touch of scent, this is perfect and not too expensive. 8/10 Gives the concentrates a run for their money.

I smelled this today. It smells like milk simmering in the stove. Probably the most photorealistic milk scent I’ve smelled to date. I lovephilosopy’s Fresh Cream with warm cashmere, Comodity’s Milk + and Eli’s Brooklyn’s Vanilla Milk, but this really smells like ACTUAL MILK milk. I have no problem with this being a skin scent either. Something warm and cozy to wear to bed or in the office. My only hesitation for not buying this today was that I want this to be a perfume so I can get more longevity. Might need to buy a big bottle in the mean time. 🥲

I can't say enough how much I hated this when I first bought it. It was so gross I almost gave it away, but I'm glad I held onto it because now I love it! But I concur with other reviewers that it only works for the colder months. In the summer it gave off that sour milk smell everyone was complaining about due to the lemon note- but now in the winter I LOVE the sugared lemon note! It's such a wonderful touch to make this creamy lactonic fragrance stand out. I even started layering it with Philosophy's Lemon Custard! So delicious!

I’ve been on a journey with this one. When it first released I got a bottle and it smelled like so much like plastic I sold it immediately. On a whim I sprayed this on myself in Sephora last month and fell in love with it. It’s sweet, creamy, fluffy and coconut heavy. Absolutely love layering with this. To my surprise this has impressive lasting power and projection for up to 4-5 hours in me. Love to wear it alone or layer with other scents. Definitely needs to macerate for a week or so.

Looove Phlur's Heavy Cream. I noticed Phlur's fragrance mists seem to last just as long as perfumes on me. Heavy Cream is sweet, creamy, and comforting. I don't get a milky/sour milk scent from it at all. I LOVE to put this on before going to bed. Such a cozy fragrance ~ I get lots of compliments on it too, so it has good projection. My body chemistry loves gourmands. I don't pick up the citrus notes here much, mostly vanilla/marshmallow/cream/sugar/caramel.

i loveeeeeeee love this scent, though it smells like yoghurt on the first spray, after it smells like a light coconut, airy vanilla... creamy and whipped like ice cream. i don't really smell any citrus like lemon or orange but... it smells sooooooo good on my skin!!! thankfully i don't smell anything sour or any 'spoiled milk'.. perf for spring/summer. however the only gripe with this is that it just doesn't last long on me at all, maybe 2 hours MAX.

I'm not a gourmand scent fan, but I loooovvvee this scent! I wish it was an eau de parfum or pure perfume oil! It is well balanced with sweet notes, fruits, and laconics. Heavy cream is the perfect blend of sweetness; it's not sugary, syrupy, or juvenile! It's a slightly buttery, creamy, fluffy, marshmallow concoction and, the citrus definitely helps to round it out! It's so good. Phlur! We need a body butter, body oil, and perfume in Heavy Cream!!!

this smells like whipped-coconut cream with lemon-sugar infused into the cream, i absolutely love it! it almost smells like sweet coconut hair products, as it has a freshness to it. i definitely do not think "heavy cream" is the right name for this, but either way, i really enjoy this and layer it with other phlur scents. my personal favorites to layer heavy cream with are afterglow, father figure, and matcha milk.

I get why many people say it smells like sour milk. It literally is supposed to smell like photorealistic dairy milk, which does have sour undertones if you sniff from close enough. I personally love it and the dry down is the ultimate creamy gourmand without any burnt qualities, like some of the other gourmands have. Probably performs best in colder climates but I've been wearing it throughout spring.

I get how people get a "sour milk" top note from this, i think it's the combination of citrus and milk, which ive gotten from other fragrances before. I personally dont get that, but i do get warm milk, heavy cream (literally), and orange blossom. This is one of my favorite body sprays, but sometimes it can be a little bit too much for the summer.

The negative comments description is far from true, sorry. Sour milk & baby vomit who? Very interesting how our nose differ! This is one of the most versatile & pretty body mists I’ve tried. It’s in my top 5 body mist from a collection of 70+ body mists! It’s absolutely lovely & a great blindbuy. Goes with sooo much of my perfumes!

I love this fragrance and it is my favorite body mist. There is a slight citrus at the opening, and it melts down into a cozy, whipped cream scent. Very lactonic. This is exactly what I wanted Fresh Cream by Philosophy to be. Do not blind buy this, the scent varies a lot between users, more than I've seen in other fragrances.

I genuinely did not know that there was discourse about this scent until I dipped into the reviews on this page. I'm trying so hard to detect any kind of grossness to this fragrance and I genuinely can't, it's just delicious. It's sweet and buttery, smells edible. Maybe some folks got a weird batch? I really enjoy this.

i love this scent, it mixes really well with my skin chemistry - i know for others it can smell kind of like off-milk, but for me it smells like how the cherry drops sweets taste with a lactonic top, not sure where the cherry is coming from, but it's not sharp at all. it's very nostalgic somehow. i'm obsessed

Absolutely incredible. It smells better the more you let the bottle sit, for some reason. I love layering it with other perfumes. It's also an amazing bed time scent. I also love coconut and this definitely smells coconutty. This is gonna send me on a rabbit hole of lactonic scents. I want more!

Great New England winter scent. Is okay by itself but sometimes I’ll layer with a scented amber vanilla VS lotion to help ground the very sweet strong creamy smell. Dries down good. I like it but you definently have to be in colder weather and don’t spray too much. Cozy girl scent

Smells like a sweet cream cheesecake from a high quality bakery!! Long lasting on skin and even longer lasting on clothes! Phlur bakery-esque gourmands have the lasting power of a dynasty! Let’s pray they apply that to their other fragrances!

the perfect body mist to layer with. its not strong at all and is light and airy. To me, it smells like marshmallows and lemon, and i love those two dearly. If you're someone who needs something to build on, this is it.

This scent is so yummy I want to bathe in it. Creamy and sweet! Whenever I wear it, people say I smell like marshmallows but close to the skin and the lemon, whipped brightness comes out. One of my favorites right now.

i had no idea that people hated this...???? it smelled good on me, like just creamy, gourmandy, yummy, sweet and like vanilla!! it lasts and projects pretty well.

I had wished for more citrus and marshmallow, upon first spray there was 1. a hazy creaminess that was tampered with coconut which irked me but I like in the drydown, 2. An overdose of cream, vanilla and caramel, a bit dizzying, and bordering on a cheesecake facet- but not like the caramel in Caramel Skin that turns dirty personally on my skin Drydown of this after an hour smells like a sweeter more caramel-vanilla Blanche Bete.. am not wearing them side by side; but I tested Blanche Bete yesterday. They are not the same at all, but they both have the same coconuty, creamy facet. This is more coconut, whereas Blanche Bete is more coconut milk facet created by tuberose- which to me is slightly nauseating. After more time passes, it becomes a whipping cream, vanilla and caramel blend, with a bit of coconut, and a trace of citrus. A love. This is not one to overspray, VERY sweet, it bears resemblance through the coconut-caramel-vanilla combination, to the mall scent of K11 Musea in Hong Kong. But this is better. I like this, it’s wearable to me and more tolerable than Blanche Bete because Blanche Bete is too strong and too longlasting. I smelled Blanche Bete the next morning. This is light enough for me, I like wearing this, and waiting for the drydown, without having this in my face 24/7. 2 sprays is all I need 😅 Similar perfumes: Afternoon Delight has the same whipped cream and vanilla, with an added almond note. Afternoon Delight has a bit of the dna of Heavy Cream, and a bit of TF Vanilla Sex.

A farewell review of my nearly gone (~10% left) bottle. Like its minimalist look btw. Might reuse it for a DIY shimmer/glow mist :). Let me first clarify that I don’t bear a grudge against Ms Gil Clavien and actually regard several of her works as well executed. FYI she’s the nose behind Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet Tooth line, White Tea Vanilla Orchid, Lost Cause, and now Heavy Cream. If you’re familiar with any of said perfumes, chances are you’ve found them all coming with very modest longevity and projection. After looking up the ingredient list, I had the impression that this time she really put some work into HC by using a handful of lactonic compounds. Tested in-store and thought I came across a gem. Straight to the core of my fascination with sweet, creamy gourmand. Hung out with it over 3 months and realised this one was made to be a skin scent and for layering. For those who smell sour milk or cheese, worry not – it sits quietly on your skin and does not project past the first hour. Based on my experience, it does not overpower most EDTs/EDPs you pair it with. It’s however too muted and subtle even to the wearers themselves.

I have a large collection of fragrances, unfortunately I'm not sure if any of them are "clean". So I was looking for scents that don't disrupt your hormones, which led me to phlur. I understand that these are more body mists than perfume, but that's okay! I decided to blind buy this and peach skin. I'm surprised at how strong these scents are! Definitely better than your average body spray. This one smells delicious too, it smells like vanilla cupcake frosting! Looking forward to using it this summer! I'm also hoping to get my hands on father figure and beach skin. Edit** Heavy cream is a bit too heavy...I've got to know it a bit better and it is very heavy and synthetic smelling at first. I would just give it 3/5 stars. Peach skin is much better!

A little goes a long way with this! I made the mistake of overspraying yesterday and that's the first time this smelled synthetic to me. Every other time I had just put on the same amount as I would with an edp or edt, and it just had a nice milky vanilla scent that lasted. I think people see body spray/mist and assume it will be weak, but with most of the ones out there on the market that hasn't been my experience. Anyway, I don't really get any citrus in this, just sweet cream. Simple but versatile, and even oversprayed it wasn't bad, it just had that artificial tang not normally present. In fact the next morning when it was almost gone, that's when I got the pleasant milky vanilla again that was the reason I bought it.
