Island Swim

This fragrance is a tropical vacation in a bottle! 🌴 A spray of ocean mist, infused with coconut, citrus, frangipani, sandalwood and musk. It simply smells so clean and beautiful on the skin, I just want to bathe in it! The dry down reminds me of laying on the shore after a swim, relaxing as the hot sun dries you off and warms up your skin... And I love that! It also has this nostalgic girly 2000’s feel to it too, think H2O and Aquamarine 🐚 🧜♀️🫧 Now, even though this is a body and hair mist, I do wish it lasted a bit longer and was slightly stronger. With that said, I find that this lasts around 3hrs+ on clothes maybe a little less on skin. Overall, I really love this 🩵 Can’t wait to wear it this Summer! 🌺 🌊🌅

I love this one! I have every scent Phlur has ever made. This is that beachy, summer coconut everyone wants but no one seems to be able to quite get there. Most are too sunscreeny, to coconutty, too fruity/sweet. This is everything that I have ever wanted in a summery, tropical beach vibe fragrance. I so hope they make a perfume of this. This is what I hoped that Miami Nectar would be, but ABSOLUTELY IS NOT. The idea that anyone voted for that is wild!!! They are NOTHING alike other than the color/aesthetic of the bottle and names. Island Swim is that girl that we all expected to be a disappointment, whereas Miami Nectar was the disappointment that we all expected to be that girl. I love this masterpiece!

The initial spray is VERY sugary- pure sugar. However after a few mins it dissipates and the coconut+aquatic notes start to show through and it becomes the most beautiful beach scent. It has the warm solar tropical notes and also the fresh water aquatic musk. You need to look past the first 30 seconds then it's the perfect summer scent. Definitely a bit highschool locker room nostalgia feeling but in a good way. Brings me back to the worry free days. Dry down is mostly musky aquatic. I feel gaslit by the description because I'm getting 0 lavender and amber.

I really like this! I hadn’t been a very big fan of any of the other Phlur fragrances, so I wasn’t expecting to like this but I was pleasantly surprised! I find it to be very beachy and refeshing - perfect for the summer! It smells blue and tropical if that makes sense - I can get a small hint of coconut, and I usually gravitate away from anything coconut scented, but I find this to be really pleasant.

This is a beautiful fresh aquatic scent. I could bathe in this all summer long! Just wish it projected more and lasted longer. All of my other Phlur body mists are strong and long lasting so its disappointing that my favourite one out of the bunch is the least strong.

This isn't out yet, but at work (Sephora) in the back room, I was able to smell this and spritz it on my arm and it truly is a beauty! I can definitely pick up on the sea notes and coconut and it blends beautifully with the musk. Once it hits shelves, I'm buying it!

Yeah, I would say this is in the vein of aquatics from the past. Not completely like Light Blue, but similar. It's also similar to one of the Cool Water flankers for women from back in the day. Yet it's definitely updated and smells like a fragrance from this era.

This is lovely, fresh slightly sweet coconut scent, but more complex than a typical coconut body mist. I don’t find it aquatic, which is a good thing for me. It’s going to be my top summer scent for sure.

To me this is a creamy aquatic scent. It’s very aquatic but not sharp at all. I do smell the coconut and that must be where the creaminess comes from. It’s not sunscreeny at all.

Beachy, Marine, citrusy, aromatic, coconut, musky, tropical, floral, powdery, fresh spicy, softly sweet, refreshing, fresh, radiant, alluring, tranquil, soothing, transportive, inviting, nostalgic This is THE aquatic/marine, refreshing, coconut scent that everyone wants, but can never find! There’s no sunscreen note (although I’ve always been a fan of that note)! If you want something that smells like the beach, then you’re going to want this one! On me this opens quite citrusy with notes of citrus, radiant orange, and tart bergamot with sweet and tropical coconut. As it begins drying down it becomes more marine/aquatic and floral with sea notes, buttery and exotic frangipani, and soothing lavender. The dry down becomes more musky and warm with powdery musk, creamy sandalwood, and the golden warmth of amber. Overall, it’s a really nice beachy marine/aquatic scent with a soft coconut note, radiant citruses, just a touch of florals, and a musky and woody base to round it out. This is really lovely! I’m a huge fan of beachy/coconut fragrances, as well as Phlur, especially their mists, so this new Island Swim and Paradise Nectar was a no brainer for me! I immediately blind bought them both once they launched. Between the new Paradiso Nectar and Island Swim, I definitely prefer Island Swim. However, I do prefer Beach Skin over both, but think Island Swim and Beach Skin might layer well together. I was surprised to realize that this reminds me of Ellis Brooklyn Miami Nectar. I certainly wouldn’t consider it a dupe, but it’s definitely reminiscent. I’m a huge fan of Phlur, particularly the mists! I own most of them, but my top 6 are Heavy Cream, Vanilla Nectar, Beach Skin, Cashmere Skin, Vanilla Skin, and then Matcha Milk. Also have the perfumes in Afterglow (it’s nice enough) and Honey Moon (which is absolutely incredible!). To me this does feel somewhat unisex, but more feminine leaning. It feels best suited for late spring and summer. I think it works best for casual occasions as well as for work and/or school. i had been really intrigued by the phlur body mists, but they didn’t have any scents that i really gravitated towards. then, i saw this one online, looked up the notes, and absolutely had to go in to sephora to do a sniff test. this has some of my absolute favourite summer notes all in one scent. it’s citrusy, marine, and just a bit woody. my only issues are that i do think phlur tends to be a little overpriced, and i wish that this lasted longer... obviously it’s a body mist, but for the price i think i can complain a bit about the longevity. if they released an edp in this scent, i would be very interested.

I like this a lot. I love the aqua marine notes. Its watery but with a hint of other things like the coconut. Perfect summer fragrance. On skin, about 4 hours; clothes 6.

Zero coconut, zero bergamot, zero salt. This smells like a Cool Water Woman perfume that leans masculine.

I was searching for a fresh clean aquatic scent and came across Island Swim. Overall it gives off a floral, refreshing clean scent. I wish the coconut was a stronger note. It is a good scent for summer. I try to wear only scents that I absolutely love, and this one is just okay to me. I love their cashmere skin, I think that one was well made. Maybe this one will grow on me, or maybe I am still looking for the perfect aquatic scent. Updating my review: I will be selling the perfume as it is not a 100% yes for me. I like it, but I don't love it.

This is literally Miami Nectar. Identical! I'm not mad about it since the Phlur body mist is more affordable. Those who claim they are nothing alike either have no sense of smell or they don't remember what MN smells like. Island Swim is good and a safe blind buy if you like sweet tropical fresh scents.

Someone below said this smells like a synthetic Miami nectar lol - Miami nectar itself smells synthetic so... Anyway, this doesn’t smell like it at all. How do I know? Because I actually like this, lol.

I tried this in store and found it pretty unremarkable. I do get a hint of sunscreen but it's very subtle, so I guess it's a nice option if you want a beachy scent that isn't screaming "sunscreen."

Insanely jealous I don't work at Sephora LOL. This looks good. Amber, musk, salt and sea, what more can we ask for? I wonder what it will be similar to, Light Blue? Surely not.

Smells vaguely tropical fruity (kind of like sweet citrus and papaya), far less marine than I thought, but I like it!
