Paradise Nectar

Aghhh honestly don’t get the hate for this one! I love it and would buy an EDP version in a heartbeat. I get a well blended version of all the notes. Soft floral (not granny to me) juicy and bright, not cloying and a little punch of pepper. It just fades on the dry down as body mist tends to do. I think this would layer nicely with Replica Up at Dawn with its dewy floral and pepper note by adding some juicy depth. To me it’s an excellent, no fuss, uncomplicated summer scent, perfect and refreshing for sweltering days. Love!!

It's very fruity in the opening, and heavy on the white floral. I kinda get the "granny floral", but to me it doesnt go vintage. It's clean, like white/pale pink floral. Was just sitting outside in the afternoon sun, it has been a couple of hours since i last sprayed: lovely skin-like smell, cosy and warm, but still enjoyable with Scandinavian summer. It's still a bit citrusy, fruity, but it's less noticeable. The blackcurrant is less tart and more aromatic. I can see this as a good summer scent

FINALLY!! A mist that has some Oomph to it! Tired of all the gourmands and skin scents. Matter fact, I wish the patchouli was stronger. Give me all the grandma smells pls!!

White floral, tuberose, woody, floral, patchouli, animalic, citrusy, fruity, green, warm spicy, luminous, feminine, sensual, alluring, intriguing, inviting, cozy, comforting On me this opens with citrusy mandarin, juicy black currant, and soft spicy pink pepper. The heart blooms with bubblegum-y tuberose, lush jasmine, and green lotus. The dry down grows more woody and cozy with rich amberwood, sensual cashmere wood, and woody patchouli which gives it an intriguing depth. This is quite different from what I was expecting. Unfortunately It’s nothing beachy or tropical, summer-y, or even really fruity or nectar-like. It does have a black currant note and the mandarin, but it’s nothing nectar-like. You mostly get them in the opening along with the soft spicy pink pepper which would defeat any sweet nectar scent with its soft spiciness. I ordered this as soon as it launched along with the new Island Swim. I definitely prefer Island Swim, and really enjoy it. It actually reminds me of Ellis Brooklyn Miami Nectar. I consider Paradise Nectar to be between ok and a like for me. Unfortunately, this is one of my least favorite of all of Phlur mists that I’ve tried, which is most of them because I actually own most. I do actually prefer this over Amber Haze though, as I don’t particularly enjoy the BR540 dna. My 6 favorite Phlur mists are Heavy Cream, Vanilla Nectar, Beach Skin, Vanilla Skin, Cashmere Skin, and Matcha Milk. I also absolutely adore their perfume Honey Moon. Overall, I get a peppery white floral with a woody base. I think I might like this more during the fall, but we’ll have to wait and see. I actually think it’ll work well throughout the whole year. This feels feminine, but it does feel more mature than most of the Phlur mists I’ve tried, but it’s still suitable for most ages. Think this is most fitting for casual occasions, and work/school. logged into my account after forever to leave a dissenting opinion. to me, official notes and accords aside, this perfume smells very specifically like honeysuckle nectar with a faint, addictive background air of nondescript tropical fruits like guava, passionfruit, etc. i don’t get a heavily grandma floral vibe from it at all. i think “nectar” in the name is really aptly named, there’s something really succulent, fun, tropical, yet sophisticated to this. i recently moved to a warm climate and took a trip to Sephora to build a body mist collection for summer, and was surprised that this was my favorite find in the entire store- and i’m not even a huge white floral fan at the moment. it also layers really nicely with Phlur Vanilla Nectar.
