Vanilla Blackberry

Sweet, fruity, juicy, tart, bright, vanilla, powdery, softly floral, woody, warm, musky, soft, feminine, sensual, seductive, flirty, playful, charming, whimsical, dreamy, delightful, cheerful, uplifting, radiant, luminous, mysterious, moody, alluring, tempting, addictive, inviting, cozy, comforting On me this opens with a sweet and fruity burst of sweet and juicy blackberry and raspberry, tart black currant, and just a whisper of citrusy and bright bitter orange. As it begins drying down the heart blooms with delicate and powdery vanilla orchid and a whisper of fresh and clean freesia. The dry down envelopes you in a little more vanilla, and in a warm, musky, and woody golden amber. This balances and grounds the sweet and fruity notes, adding depth and creating a cozy and comforting vibe. The notes that are the most prominent on me are the blackberry, vanilla orchid, amberwood, and ambrettte. This feels feminine to me, and suitable for all ages. I actually think it will work well throughout the whole year because the fruitiness works well for the warmer weather, while the warm and woody amber is fitting for the colder weather. This feels suitable for casual occasions as well as for work and/or school. I’m a big fan of these Phlur mists, and I own several of them including Heavy Cream, Cashmere Skin, Beach Skin, Vanilla Blackberry, Vanilla Skin, Caramel Skin, Vanilla Nectar, Coconut Skin, Amber Haze, and Vanilla Smoke. the first 3 I mentioned are my favorites, but I do really enjoy most of them! I’m not the biggest fan of Vanilla Smoke as it’s rather masculine, and without much vanilla. I’m not sure what I think of Amber Haze yet as I just got it in my order with Cashmere Skin, Vanilla Blackberry, Vanilla Nectar, and Afterglow, and haven’t tried it yet, but will be hopefully today or tomorrow. I absolutely love this scent. It’s almost a mirror image to Bath and Body works discontinued Black Raspberry Vanilla perfume that was my signature scent for YEARS until I couldn’t even find a bottle on eBay to buy. I only wish they made an edp formula of this spray so I could get a little more projection and staying power. But I absolutely love the scent. It’s fruity, light, sweet. Maybe a little basic but a smell so so familiar to me I can’t help but love it! It does last for hours, but definitely doesn’t “project” out. You won’t really smell it on yourself unless you make a point to sniff the skin or clothing where it was sprayed. But the scent, for me, is otherwise perfect.

This is my first phlur scents. I love it. Very strong on all berries (blackberry > black currant> raspberry) and vanilla, but I don't think it smells cheap. My nose doesn't really pick up on the other notes. I haven't smelled another berry scent like this one, but now I'll be on the hunt. Lasts a few hours by itself, will be layering it with an oil to see if that helps.

was surprised how it reminded me of Lush Comforter but I was hoping people would not associate this one with pee, but i see in the reviews some found it a little piss scented :( I like it a lot and I don't find it to be smelling like pee but I can see how the slight bitterness comes off as that

Really pretty. Not long lasting. But that berry vanilla smell is nice. I do not love the fact they are big old plastic bottles. And tbe glass perfume bottles are just way too expensive. I cant justify the cost.

Lovely! Compliment-getter and great for layering if you want a lil extra burst of juicy berry. Performs better than many of Phlur's body mists.

Smells clean, fruity, sweet. Very pretty, but also pretty generic. Crowd pleaser, but not a must have. Forgettable. I'm surprised to see only 3 fragrances in the "reminds me of" category because this reminds me of countless fragrances, Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy comes to mind, Sweet Like Candy being slightly more fruity and tart. Reminds me of countless Bath and Body Works scents, namely Winterberry Wonder or Raspberry Sugar. I quite like Blackberry Vanilla scents, so it's a nice addition and will layer well with Sweet Like Candy and Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Blackberry, so it's a keep for me.

I received a 10ml as a blind buy, Phlur is hit or miss for me and this is unfortunately a miss. I understand its a body spray but even the cheapest of body sprays last longer than this. Smells great, is missing the "vanilla" aspect of its name. A sweet and tart berry but with vanilla in the name you would imagine it to be a smidge sweeter. I will use up what I have of it but won't repurchase.

Phlurs makes some of the longer lasting mists, but this might be their strongest offering yet. ‘Vanilla Blackberry’ is everything I was expecting from the lackluster ‘Doll Mist’ release from Boys Smells. This has all the fruitiness missing there, while also maintaining the fun kind of plastic dollish whimsy. 😇

Vanilla Blackberry is heavy on berries, more on the fresh side, with a vanilla base that keeps it from smelling cheap or synthetic. Great for layering with perfumes that feature berries. Grab a sample at Nectar Atelier first! 🌸

i like layering this one with something a bit deeper and grounded as it's a little sweet for my taste otherwise. i was expecting a tad more vanilla, but got it as a gift so no harm no foul! i do like it as a hair mist

i love this scent but i find the notes of vanilla to be a little misleading. it works well when paired with another vanilla or woodsy heavy scent but otherwise it smells like fresh tea and tasty fruits. not bad!

It's not too cloyingly fruity, very pleasant and the scent lasts a long time, I sprayed my sweater with it and it smells like it days later

Why is there no vanilla in a fragrance called Blackberry Vanilla? Indeed, I get no vanilla in this, but I do get lots of tart berries and fruit. It reminds me very much of BBW Black Raspberry Vanilla or the old Body Shop Dewberry, basically straight up berries. It’s pleasant enough on its own, but definitely better layered. This is a casual scent, sweet and jammy but no vanilla and not much of anything else. If that’s your jam, no pun intended, then you may want to give this a try.

I don’t love the berries in this one, they’re too tart and I’d prefer them sweeter. It does have great performance, though! I sprayed on my top about 7 hours ago, and can still smell the berry notes, even after adding Vanilla Skin on top about 2 hours ago. All the Phlur mists stick to clothing really well.

I really liked how this smelled right out of the bottle but it fades way too fast. Got less than 20 min worth of projection on this one.

This body spray smells almost identical to La Vie Est Belle L’Elixir with a slightly sweeter scent that doesnt last nearly as long.

Sorry, on my skin and to my nose it was identical to their vanilla nectar but add a cat pee note. Immediate return. I normally like Phlur this one was a tik tok hype miss for me.

I just received it and I regret that I bought it blind buy. All I smell is wood and musk plus the bottle in reality is nothing like purple, it’s beige . Such a confusing advertisement Ahhh, I will spray my garage with it I can’t detect the juicy blackberry or vanilla

Where's the promised bounty of Berries ??? I get one note on my skin and its only an overbearing generic slap in the face vanilla. What the heck. Was hoping for juicy ripe black berries. Oh well. This is a no for me.
