Besame Mucho

WOW! what an opening. Tobacco and cacao with such a smooth, creamy woody vibe. I don't sense too much tonka, as tonka sweetness immediately gives me a headache. The opening is beautiful. I also sense soil tincture, which I love in fragrances. I will have to revisit this fragrance in terms on longevity and drydown, but my initial impression was amazing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mr. Miami Cuddles

Phoebe Peacock is the name of the perfumer’s grandmother and the name of the Hollywood, California store where this small line of scents is sold. Bésame Mucho is the darkest of the three with vanilla, chocolate and sandalwood forward. Oud is mixed with a light touch, and it’s what gives this scent performance: about 4 hours on my dry skin before turning into a skin scent. The end results is a creamy, sweetened cocoa powder effect that stays linear from start to finish. This won’t win any originality awards, as there are many others in the crowded chocolate gourmand field, and with similarities shared by my favorites: Atelier’s Cafe Tuberosa and 4160’s Over the Chocolate Shop (but differing and more complex with the addition of a coffee note). Still, Bésame Mucho is benign and pleasant enough that I’m enjoying my decant. Side note: with cheesy lines like “....this scent might get you a date!”, the brand might want to consider hiring a better copywriter.

On my skin its mostly patchouli, with touches of chocolate and vanilla. I like the fragrance but it also kind of reminds me of a candle scent, and at times it can smell kind of synthetic or like a crayon or something.

This is a very interesting combo of dark vanilla chocolate and green patchouli leaf. The patchouli is the most dominant and most intense note for me. It's definitely slightly overpowering. The dry-down is a musky floral tobacco with notes of sweet vanilla. Patchouli gradually disappears and drydowns into a softer base. Because patchouli is not my favorite note, this perfume is complex and is hard for me to invest into. I do like the fact that chocolate here is not sweet, nor is it gourmand. This chocolate is just dark and that is it. It's definitely unique, and is not tooth-rotting sweet, which I like.

I have a sample of this, and have only smelled it sprayed on a paper so far. Sniffing without seeing any of the notes, my brain said it smelled like powdery notes and coconut.

Way too much patchouli for my liking :(

You’ll have to google Phoebe Peokok fragrances & see if this is still around for purchase. I got this in a 100 ml from the official website I never looked into whether or not this an American house or not. It came with a real an actual long real Peokok feather?? I’m like “Uhh Okay” I recieved a few sample fragrances along with a previous order that all were chocolate themed fragrances and it was a runner up with that Gallagher chocolate fragrance. Can’t remember the name right off...None of these are ones ai would wear now. This one was a a bit cheaper & seemed to win out of all the samples at the time. I got 100ml and could’ve saved $, Because a little goes a long way! This I’ll tell you is so intensely powerful..The least bit too much and your cloyed to death for the remainder of the day..I learned not to spray any on the chest or neck area! & to use in only cold weather period. Beast mode power house performer of a chocolate fragrance is the point Im stressing! Forget Montale Chocolate Greedy! As for the other notes listed here, It may just be me. But do not get them, If anything I can further describe Its a Nutella type of chocolate vibe & for it to have any kind of possible class you would have to basically I dunno...Spray just one spray on just one arm..That’s about all I got!

I have a sample of this fragrance. The opening is very strong, i have to admit that i didn't like it at the beginning, but i let it sit for a few minutes on my skin and there you go, i like it, i picked up black chocolate and a bit of tobacco. We GOTTA ALWAYS let the fragrance sit and blend with our skin before judging it 😊. I smell black chocolate from start to end. This fragrance last a good 10 hours on my skin. You SHOULDN'T blind buy this one.
