The Ambigua

The Ambigua smells like an Orthodox Church and vanilla in the opeening, slightly similar to Toskovat The Last Birthday Cake but only in the first 5 minutes. As it dries down you start feeling the ambergris and lavender more. I also find it to be versatile and i would 100% wear it ins summer aswell. It is a true masterpiece and I can't imagine anyone not liking it, it's a very easy to like fragrance. I rate it a 9.9/10

There is so much happening at once in this fragrance. Right off the bat you get struck by this frankincense, amber, and lavender. Then you fall into this unknowingness of all these notes getting layered together that you can depect every single not if you think of what your smelling. This lasted over 24 hours on my skin, for reference I have never had a fragrance last that long on my skins EVER. At first I didn't love this perfume but after spending the whole day with it I just feel right into the scent profile. Altogether best perfomance ever, wonderful sillage, and the scent profile is good just not my style. 8.7/10.

My first, first review. Starts off with a big blast of labdanum and ambergris. Really great strong amber accord. About 5 minutes in that takes a back seat to this bright and green accord, thats a bit tart, a bit floral, and a bit vegetal. The Myrtle and ambergris can give this a slightly beachy feeling at times, which is weird with the main players being a strong amber accord and this tart green mix. Somehow this all works together. Crowd friendly enough. Hard to hate, but even harder to love. This isn’t something I would buy, and I don’t 100% get the idea/goal behind the fragrance. In another person’s hands this could be an easy love. It’s an interesting amber with a lot of other stuff going on.
