Aquincum

Sit back and relax.. Aquincum is peace in a bottle. The perfume is bright and refreshing upon spraying. I immediately caught a gleaming stream of light, clean, white florals. Soon after you will be greeted by some fuzzy lavender and citrus, with a woody vanilla floating in the air, providing enough body to please your olfactive sense. The perfume dances between ozonic and puffy floral notes. You can clearly imagine beams of light, bending with the bouncy waves in a pool. The atmosphere dampens further, and the sun begins to hide behind trees, you meet a more slight sophistication on the dry-down, light, fresh, sparking booze and a mossy base. The dry down is nothing far off the opening, these darker facets are subtle and I believe are responsible for the great longevity behind this scent. I would wear this easily as a day to day scent. The reach for this would be excellent and fairly frequent. Suited for all weather, besides the colder seasons. It pierced through the hot dry air during the summertime here. I recommended this to any white floral freak, who wants a new, fresh long lasting perfume. Aquincum does it all, and I am fascinated to find new facets with each session of wears. A secretly complex composition, a piece of art.

Aquincum is a fragrance that takes you places. The second I sprayed it, I felt like I was chilling in a forest. The sun was shining through the leaves and the air smelled all fresh and woodsy. Then, as the scent got stronger, I felt this warm, sunny vibe, like when you're wrapped in a cozy blanket. And the honeysuckle and linden blossom notes are sweet and pretty. But the real star of the show is the lily of the valley. It's the most pure and delicate floral scent ever, and it reminded me of those perfect spring days when everything's in bloom. The base notes of vanilla, tobacco, and amber balance out the sweetness and make the scent last forever. This one is definitely a new fave!

Having spent many afternoons in the bathhouses in Budapest I was drawn to trying Aquincum. The refreshing florals and ozonic accord paint a realistic facsimile of the initial breath you take upon entering the buildings. Adding to this is a slight minerality you get from natural spring waters. The slight sweetness and musky combination adds to the experience of the general tranquility and relaxation an individual would tend to seek when visiting these historic places. This is a fragrance with all year versatility, but it will absolutely shine in the warmer months.

Floral soap In a green garden with a jasmine bush, floral soap is flowing from an old pump. The distinct soapy scent of purity blends with flowers and greenery and fills the nose with freshness and soap bubbles:)Reminiscent of Chanel No.22. And a week later, the scent emits more sweetness - beautiful! Just like the new bottles with a wonderful round cap made of different types of stone.

Lovely spring aromas come up immediately with this scent. The top notes smell like a blend of flower petals laying in a steamy, hot bath. When the heart notes emerge, they give a glimpse of minerals. This fragrance makes me feel like spring is here! Later, the base notes bring forward floral and melon mixed with herbs from a moss-covered hill. This is an elegant and vivacious scent!

The opening of this fragrance is a little bit soapy but give it 3 minutes and that goes away, leaving us with this beautiful, delicate floral masterpiece. When it dries down it becomes a little sweeter and I actually enjoy that a lot. This perfume feels like « Vaporwave » It smells like you’re walking on the concrete floor of an interior pool and there’s hot water mist. Just feels so nostalgic I don’t know why haha ! Longevity is great and so is projection. Great perfume from Pictura Fragrans !

This smells like a field along the coast the day after it rains. Refreshing and lightly floral with a tinge of saltiness, I was a bit worried at first as the initial dry down left a strong soapy scent that wasn’t unpleasant by any means but didn’t quite mesh with the overall profile. After five minutes or so, the soapy/ozonic notes settled beautifully but left me with a consistent lemongrass note at the forefront that I’m still trying to decide if I like or not. Really interesting fragrance.

I have one word to describe this one: strange. I don't even know how to explain this fragrance, but it smells like McDonald's Sprite mixed with a heavy amount of whipped cream; the more I have it on my skin, the more I start to enjoy it. The Birch and Ozonic notes are also present with the SLIGHTEST bit of Mineral Notes, but I can't put my finger on them. Overall, it smells like a McDonald's Sprite gone wrong in a good way.

The scent hits you like a rush through a hidden garden, at first strong with top notes of fresh herbs and citrus. after 30 min, the fragrance softens, revealing calming florals like jasmine and lily-of-the-valley. It's pure serenity, like sinking into a steaming bath – fitting considering Aquincum's inspiration. Finally, the scent settles into a delicious blend of vanilla, tobacco, and a hint of boozy cognac. It's sophisticated, but not stuffy. Forget your grandma's perfume this is a "Muguet" for anyone who just wants to smell like a fascinating mystery. I found it lingering for hours but never overpowering. And you can snag a sample vial to test the waters of time travel (or at least, smell travel) before committing to the full bottle.

Soapy and mineralic. This smells like a high end spa or bath house. Smells like expensive self care that you pay $700 for so that you can float around in a salted pool and then get massaged while gongs and bells ring in the background.

I know this is a juvenile comparison, but this smells the way McDonald's Sprite tastes. Fresh, sweet, fizzy, metallic, citrus. By far one of the most unconventional of the line.

This is strange I’ve never smelt a aquatic like this it’s completely different to what I’m used to Very strong also but not saying that’s bad
