Fusion

The entire smell of this cologne is the dry down version of Dior Fahrenheit. I have both. While PC isn’t as strong as Dior. It’s still quite strong. Last about 7-8 hrs on skin and 9+ on clothes. initial spray the smell is similar doesn’t have that opening tangy smell as Dior, but once it dries it smells almost exactly like Dior Fahrenheit. Not sure why it’s people says it smells like the mj cologne. I don’t smell the resemblance at all. Knowing that Pierre use to work for Dior it makes sense that his cologne would smell something similar. Also from looking at the bottles it’s a tale sign. All n all fusion smells amazing and with the buy. Long lasting and great projection.

Agree with other comments that this is a bit of a hidden gem - it's a great work/casual fragrance. For the price (less than £10) it's easily worth a punt as a blind buy. I get spicy / leathery notes with a bit of orange thrown in. Performs really well on me - easily one of the longest lasting frags I own.

Smells great, just wish it lasted longer. The price is right so you can just keep spraying lol.

MrNotSoNice said it well with this being a hidden gem. I just picked up a 1oz for a palrty four and a half dollars. Will this make its way in the pantheon of greats? Probably not, but this is a solid spring and fall freshie despite the glassware and possibly the name portraying a deep, warm winter frag with the "°F-styled" bottle. The first thing that hits me is old fashioned Sunlight dish detergent/washing up liquid with a basket of bleached white laundry nearby. The synthetic citrus notes then transition into a hand-wipe ambiance, evoking the moist towelettes found at seafood or BBQ restaurants. As the fragrance settles, a black pepper spice emerges but ultimately yields to vegetal geranium and other green notes. Approaching the skin, it loses its initial brightness, yet maintains a fresh quality with hints of medicinal sandalwood and tanning juices. This fragrance is well-suited for cool spring days and nights, as well as cool summer nights on the Jersey Shore, particularly in Atlantic City, whether indoors with the AC on full blast or during the cool late September and early October evenings. While it delivers a pleasurable experience, I anticipate it won't linger in the market for an extended period, and I won't be hoarding bottles in preparation for that eventuality. The spray performance is excellent, consistent with other Pierre Cardin bottles. I rate it 6.5/10

HIDDEN GEM ALERT! I saw this online for under $10 delivered and decided to try it. What a delightful surprise. The opening is an appealing, moderate, not overly-strong woody and leather scent. Not cloying at all. Much better than something like English Leather. Citrus may be there, but it is in the background. This is clearly masculine, not particularly sweet or floral. Though not a tobacco scent, I think it would appeal to someone who likes manly scents like Azzaro Pour Homme or Quorum (as I do!) Some commentators on other forums have claimed to smell anise and cinnamon notes, but I detect neither. After a while the dry down yields lavender and patchouli and some green notes, but the wood and leather are still there. I also detect a bit more citrus. Projection and longevity are moderate, and exceptional for the money. This all comes in a well-executed Cardin penis bottle in a manly dark gradient. Looks cool on my dresser. This was so cheap I think I'll buy another one as a backup, and maybe a few to give as gifts. A super-bargain, especially considering it is actually made in France.

Agree with reviewers below - this is a hidden gem. Amazing that in the tracking stats, there's hardly any interest. After spraying and the initial alcohol kick, it quickly dries down to the most amazingly smooth leather/wood scent. I don't get much citrus. There's also a touch of cloves and very subtle green notes. Fragrance is dark and masculine with only the smallest amount of sweetness, which is just right by me because I don't like sweet perfumes. Performance is moderate. Lasts about 3 to 4 hours until it becomes a skin scent. Projection is about arm's length for an hour or so. Not spectacular, but good given the price. It's so cheap, you can spray away. The bottle is cool with the gradient shading. If you like Spicebomb Extreme or No Limit$, you'll like Fusion, although Fusion isn't as powerful as those two. It is however an easy and cheap blind buy.

I have not ever experienced a fragrance with this recipe of notes before. There is a dominant blood orange note right from the start with a supporting layer of citrus, floral notes, and all built upon the leather and sandalwood. I have received a number of compliments and the fragrance is unique and pleasant overall. Definitely summer and a nice spicier alternative to the citrus-and-marine aquatics of most summer fragrances.

I've been buying/testing cheapies as of late. I picked this up new for just under $4 retail! By FAR the cheapest thing I've ever sprayed on myself. Here's what I think: Not really a bad fragrance at all, but not outstanding either. Kind of non-descript, 1990s sporty/spicy thing going on. Not sure where half the notes above are hiding. Its got a synthetic 2000s era body sprays meet 90s Michael Jordan cologne vibe. Projection, sillage, etc are moderate (maybe the low end of moderate) across the board. This is totally non-unique both in odor and performance. You will not impress, or offend a single person with Pierre Cardin Fusion. I suppose the red gradient bottle kind of looks cool, albeit phallic (aside: that glass bottle probably cost the manufacturer infinitely more than what's inside). To be honest I'm not sure what the target market for this fragrance is. It's not made for the vintage man raised on English Leather. It's not made for the youth of today. So..30-50 yr old men? But why? That age group buys Versace Eros, or Burberry Brit, Hugo Boss or whatever. Eureka! Their target market isn't any age group, it's broke people that want to smell decent. It beats spraying nothing. It's a halfway decent odor. Lasts a couple hours. Why not? I actually bought two bottles totaling $8 (just in case I loved it). What a deal! But really, I could have put $8 toward Cool Water or Nautica Voyage or something. However, this broke 30-50 yr old man will happily keep it in the rotation. Pierre Cardin Fusion won't turn any heads, but at least I won't smell like.. nothing.

Inexpensive and okay (woody/citrusy/spicy). But almost not even worth the cheap price because performance is the biggest minus. For an edt it's inexplicably weak--only a small step above, or equal to, your better quality body sprays. That means to have no fear of showering in it. If this came in a spray can I wouldn't be disappointed. Lovely bottle, though, worthy of a much better fragrance.

Maybe you're reading reviews because you've found this fragrance for a really good price (I paid just $5 for my 30ml) and you're thinking to yourself: "Hey, what have I got to lose? I don't expect this to blow my mind, but it seems worth the gamble to pay for the ticket, and it would make a new addition to the collection." However, my recommendation to other people is just not to bother, even despite the price tag. (And I say this as someone without much money.) In certain ways, it reminds me of those cheap dollar store fragrances: sure, people will be able to tell you sprayed on something; and it's not like it stinks like a skunk; but it isn't obviously apparent how it's more pleasant than wearing no fragrance at all. And if you have to be ask whether it's even worth wearing, then it isn't. I'm not normally one to complain about syntheticness, or frags giving me headaches, but this does have some kind of something mixed into there that gives a bit of that "irritatingly perfum-y" quality. I will say though, on a more positive note, that both the bottle and the presentation are actually pretty nice. But at the end of the day, that isn't really what counts. I don't know whether anyone else gets this, and it doesn't really fit with the official note listing, but I do find a bit of commonality between this, and the fruitiness from Lacoste PH.

Bought this out of curiosity. It was cheaper to buy 30ml of this than a 1ml sample of Bond no.9, (ironic). This is not something I plan on keeping or wearing, it smells as cheap and as generic as you’d expect. It’s fairly standard citrus and woods. Honestly I commend the reviews here that are longer than this. I cannot find anything positive or negative to say about it.

I don’t know about this one. It doesn’t smell bad, but my first thought after the initial blast was “this smells kinda weird”. Almost like there’s notes in it that don’t go together. I think it’s the lavender with strong sharp citrus, leather and geranium that makes me feel like the notes are clashing and I can’t figure out what it’s supposed to be The performance isn’t very good, and I’m not sure where I’d wear it (maybe running errands in warm weather), but I paid like $13 for it so for that price it’s not bad. It’s pretty generic, although I can’t think of anything to compare it to which is strange. The review below me says Fahrenheit so maybe they smell similar. Would I have bought it if I could’ve smelled it first? Probably not. Also the list of similar perfumes is all over the place. Smelling like both Michael Jordan and Eros is wild

I have tried out Fusion and it's not a terrible scent, but it's not great either. It feels like a typical citrus/woody scent from the late 90s or early 2000s, despite being released in 2015. I only paid $5.00 for a 1.7oz bottle, so I'm not disappointed with my purchase and I'll still wear it. However, the longevity isn't very good, and I have to spray a lot to get any performance. I'll probably go through the bottle quickly.
