À l’heure des Catleyas 29.1

Oh this is really gorgeous. I definitely smell the tiare, orchid, citrus and musk notes. Those are the standout notes to me. The sand note feels more like a vibe than literal smell. It invokes a feeling of being on a beach for sure, the breeze and all but not just any beach, a beautiful Mediterranean beach comes to mind. It’s not a loud fragrance, more subtle but still present. Others in your bubble will notice and it leaves behind a subtle sillage. I do wish it was a little better with projection but overall it’s great. It’s calming, clean without being soapy, creamy in an expensive body lotion way, tropical without being sunscreen like or heavy on any fruits but tropical in a floral way, smooth, slightly sweet, aquatic, musky. Very lovely and I’m so happy I blind bought it. Unisex enough but imo leans more to the fem side. I can see myself wearing this a lot this summer and even to bed as well as it just has a calming vibe about it. Edit: I’ve had it for a couple months now and the performance has improved. It really blooms in the heat. I’ve not smelled any beach scent like this and it’s one of those frags that I keep wanting to spray again and again. Something addictive about it to me.

This is really nice! I got a sample to try. This is not in your face tropical, not sweaty or animalic, not aquatic or fresh, still it captures the sandy beachy summer vibe really well. Not loud but I catch whiffs of it in the warm weather and it’s not cloying. I love it!

I really like this but something with the combined effect of the musk and sand (I’m assuming) is making it come off as leaning slightly masculine. It almost smells a bit herbal...maybe the cypress? I’m not sure if this is something I would wear personally but I think it would definitely be nice on a man. I’ve never smelled anything quite like this, it’s very unique. I get the tonka in the base and it does smell beachy in its own way but I can’t say I really pick up Tiare. This is one you just really have to smell for yourself.
