Orchidivy 21.1

Green and sweet. It has green herbal notes, I guess the Ivy note in the opening, but the drydown is a sweet fruity floral scent, the raspberry and vanilla notes are very present. It's super feminine and pretty. I see some people don't like it, but I am glad I got a sample because I really love this. It reminds me of those scented erasers from my childhood! I think I will need a full bottle in the near future.

starts as From The Garden then goes to bettered Je Ne Sais Quoi, finishes as Aura Mugler, interesting journey :)

Where is the green?! I was really excited for the notes, but after a very brief burst of greenery in the opening this just smells like a (admittedly quite nice) designer fruity floral.

A comfortable, classic fougere candied & dipped in raspberry syrup. A bit classic, a bit zany, very approachable. This is a bit too sweet for me personally but I think it would make a fabulous holiday party scent in a snowy climate.

The front notes of this are very green, I get the tomato leaf strongly. However, it fades off into kind of a generic vanilla-y sickly sweet buttercream smell for me in a way I really really detest after the nice opener.

Some kind of tart cotton candy or sour fruit chew type aroma. Literally. It's bad and extremely specific. Slightly nauseating. Feels like an experiment that should have been thrown out.

Just no. I love the house but this is just sticky cotton candy with some indistinct berry note. No hay, no ivy, no green, just sticky sweet. Just no.

The top notes are fresh and interresting, but not for very long. When it settles down all I get is a scent that reminds me of vanilla sponge cake with vanilla sugar, not real vanilla. It gets nausiating after a while. Too bad, it had a promising start.

Ugh unfortunately the reviews are correct and this is not very green. If you like vanilla its definitely an interesting vanilla option but you really miss out on everything else.

The name is the combination of Orchid and Ivy.
