Tigre d'Eau 22.1

I'll be honest I wasn't a big fan of this but since summer has came I smelled it debating if I'll de clutter and not it's soooo good!!! It's kinda lile dismunaro morph mixed with creed Virgin island water . The coconut and salted Caramel is soo incredible in the heat it smells beachy and is refreshing 😋 absolutely love and I get compliments from men and women wanting to know what I'm wearing so they can get it. The salted Caramel in this is probably one of my favorite ways I've ever smelled salted Caramel it's so perfect 👌 with all that being sad it's light and refreshing enough to wear in 95°heat and it projects. Definitely give this a try! The initial blast smells a bit masculine but that goes away and it's unisex. This may even be too Caramelly for some men. But I do think most will love this if tried

I never thought that a fragrance with caramel would evoke freshness and cleanliness however this successfully achieves that! Tigre d' Eau is very cleverly blended. Do not be intimidated by the caramel note, it is beautifully tamed by the grapefruit, salt, and the delicate mint/green note. Yes, it does vaguely evoke shower gel, however it is an expensive, sexy one. Definitely my next purchase from the PG house.

Really into coconut scents lately and this one is the most interesting ones I've tried. It smells like an almond joy latte but with salted caramel on top. At the same time, it's not cloying and still has a freshness to it. I think this would be great any time of year and would probably change with the seasons too.

This is a straight up masterpiece.

Opens with beautiful aromatic herbs (lavender) with slightly minty and spicy facets that are followed by some sweet fruits (mostly coconut and apple) and tender vanillic base. It reminds me a bit of Layton PdM, but like a softer a bit more unisex version. I like it in the store a lot, but after I’ve got a sample I changed my mind because it’s a bit barbershop-y for me. I like this quite a bit but it doesn’t project, which I commonly find with Guillaume scents. But it is a lovely blend of the notes. The opening is rich and bold then it softens almost immediately to a scent that is sweet and a little tangy. Super versatile. All gender in my opinion. It’s just that darn performance issue that hampers me from wanting more

Reviewing a sample from 2024. Tigre d'Eau 22.1 EDP was launched in 2023. Tigre d'Eau 22.1 is a green coconut gourmand fougere. Don't expect any animalics because of the name -the name is just an imaginary suggestion. This opens with beautiful airy citrus florals with a touch of lavender. The heart of green coconut spiced with pink pepper is nice and does not come across as sunscreen. Unfortunately this changes too soon from aromatic to sweet with Tonka giving vanillic elements and noticeable synthetic amber at the base. I could do without the caramel which is becoming ubiquitous in mainstream fragrances. I don't sense any saltiness. Quality-3.5/5 (the usual problem of too sweet and much ambroxan type amber to enhance longevity instead of the real thing) Unisex Performance- 3/5 not great for an EDP (ok sillage, lasts about 4-6 hrs) This is a fresh coconut amber with more complexity than the similarly light coconut Alto Astral by Byredo. It however fails for the same reason - a sweet overly synthetic amber base. A sweet fougere is an odd combination IMO but worth testing if you love coconut and don't mind the sweetness. 6.5/10

A fragrance that is unique in a way Tonka dominate which is more on the vanillic side with some coconut notes I won’t say I’ve never smelled something close to it before but it’s definitely different performance was good I felt it was a little too airy for my own taste Wasn’t special or different to assert attention just a mediocre fragrance

Tigre d'Eau 22.1 by Pierre Guillaume is a fragrance that reminds me of salty caramel, making it a contemporary scent. Nondescript shrill sweetness, I cannot pick out any of the notes in this. Performance and quality of the fragrance is reminiscent of an inexpensive body splash. Save your coins.

White Tiger is DUA's version of this and it's not yet on the database here so excuse me for posting a review for it under the original one. DUA's version has a ton of ambroxan, smelling green like DUA's bergamot note, similar to what they've used in Ivory Vanillac Coffee and Yum Pistachio Gelato. It's a sour sweet ambroxan, an obnoxiously tart scent like their vanilla milk/milky vanilla notes, but with a green essence. It takes awhile for the sour effect to fade but much quicker once it macerates. The later drydown is a sweeter, green slightly spicy and subtly sour skin scent with some of that green ambroxan base which is more pleasing at this point and the coconut water is more prominent and nice - my dad sensed it right away. Scents like Era of Vanilla, Ajwa Dates Milk, Amber Vanilla Gourmand have the same sweet sour ambroxan, but more high pitched, a bit waxy and much sweeter similar to Amo Ferragamo and Musk Therapy Initio. White Tiger is almost in that league, a bit sweet-waxy too, it's in fact similar to Era of Vanilla, but that one is sweeter, whereas White Tiger is more green and it's spicy like DUA's Ivory Vanillac Coffee. In DUA's White Tiger, Ivory Vanillac Coffee and Yum Pistachio Gelato, the sour ambroxan scent is like a Palmolive green dishwash soap smell. White Tiger doesn't have a green note like the OG, so it must stem from the grassy chlorophyll and the pink grapefruit. I was getting something minty at first from the pink grapefruit in the opening but now it's just green tart ambroxan. The pink pepper is prominent adding a spice to it, so its opening and mid stage remind me of Ivory Vanillac Coffee with the spicy green and sour bergamot note like Palmolive, and the fresh lily similar to the coconut water here adding a watery freshness to that green spice. Progressively the sour ambroxan bergamot-like scent morphs into a sweeter coconut water-pink grapefruit accord without much of that detergent smell and a more subtle spice but it's still ambroxan-sour. The later drydown gets much sweeter as mentioned, and "pinkier" from the pink grapefruit and the caramel. So after an hour it's not as sour and becomes even sweeter on me with some depth from the nutty tonka, with a coconut veil and that's when I finally like it. It stays fresh yet sweet, but that's when and I detect more of the salted caramel if I smell my skin up close. Smells great in the breeze. It also stays spicy and doesn't last long, around 3 hrs. I'd say go for the OG for a sweeter scent, not DUA's sour version to avoid the green dish wash palmolive ambroxan effect lol.

Smells like straight up coconut water. It also has the staying power of coconut water cause this barely projects or stays on my skin. I got it as a surpsie decant on one of my orders and I did love the scent but If it projected and stayed on my skin I would have definitely got a full bottle. Sadly it doesn’t and I can barley even smell it on my wrist after 30 mins

Very nice perfume. Tangy, aromatic, fresh, herbal, spicy. More masculine leaning to my nose, but not heavy at all. Reminds me of Kenneth Cole Black. Brings to mind men's body care products, maybe Old Spice "Krakengard" without marine notes. Longevity is poor.

I thought a fougère had lavender, vetiver, and oak moss with a citrus top note (which this does have I guess).

To me its light coconut with sweet fig. Nice,but owning a few figs and coconuts,not planning to get a bottle.
