Clubman has put out a few new items in the past decade, this line with the metallic green labels is likely an attempt to appeal for a new audience. They have success with the wet shaving community, and for good reason, VALUE. This scent is boozy, and musky, with a very subtle touch of sweetness. Make no mistake, this is a rugged manly man style scent, and is quite bold upon initial application post shave. It’s nice, I like it for casual days, or if I just want to wear something a little retro in feel. Also, I just like aftershave splashes. Lately I have really delved back into splashes and shaving soaps, there are so many great independent creations available, and even some of the old school providers are putting out new items. I give Clubman credit, I am sure they make enough money off their base line, and Bay Rum, but here they are with new items that will definitely appeal to the existing customer base, and perhaps appeal to the new wet shavers just discovering the benefits of safety razors and skin care. Worth checking out, and very inexpensive.

another i have to try -- if you guys like the regular pinaud, and if you have experience with the whiskey woods, i'm thinking this is another no-brainer. will update after my bottle gets in, and i slap a shave with it.
