Oh man, what a scent. Revelries is what you expect it to be. You see notes like Rum, Clove, Cinnamon and immediately think of the holidays. The beauty of this scent is that it's truly not just a sweet and spicy fragrance. Yes, the Rum adds a vanilla like sweetness. The Clove and Cinnamon add that fall spice feel that you expect from a fragrance like this. What really comes through and blends it all together are the fruit notes you get from the Raisin and Green Apple. This was revised in 2023 and the increase of Green Apple takes it from just being a spiced rum type of fragrance and turns it into a fruity spiced cider. Any time I have ever worn this I have received at least one compliment from someone. It lasts all day. I applied this at 8:30 in the morning and was still able to smell it rather prominently on me around 6:00 in the evening. It doesn't have the kind of projection that will scream in peoples faces but if you apply this in the right places you're going to have the most delicious scent bubble than you will not ever want to leave. This is a scent that absolutely leans into the Fall and Winter months but I could definitely see this having a place as a year round fragrance. It's very unisex in my eyes and toys on the line of being a gourmand while still maintaining its profile as a conifer. I cannot recommend this fragrance enough.

Revelries is impressive: a potpourri scent that I actually want to wear!! The opening is a boozy clove tobacco sweetened by apple. Cinnamon joins in and is beautifully balanced in the mix, it doesn't overwhelm like it usually does for me, leaving room for apple-clove-tobacco to shine. Another interpretation I get is a comforting mulled cider with a smooth tobacco making it less Edible and more Wearable. The third act is a light cider projection with deep clove sitting close to the skin. I love that the scent bubble has layers! It's what I hoped Apple and Tabac would be. Really gorgeous. I just want to add - Pineward does apple SO well. Apple and Tabac was too sweet and like a dusty potpourri to my nose but apple wasn't the issue. And Akero (new I think?) is the perfect Mackintosh apple, bright red and juicy, with autumn spices and oud as supporting players. Looking forward to testing the rest of my samples.

This is one of my top three Pineward Perfumes, and one of my favorites from the fall collection. A brilliant, spicy cinnamon and clove is complimented by a gorgeous, boozy rum and woody base. This feels like a crisp fall night, with a crackling fire and a mug of hot apple cider. This feels boozy and spicy, but also grounded and sweet. A very slight nuttiness from the hazelnut adds that final touch to compliment the other aromas. This feels so cozy and spicy, and I can absolutely see myself buying a full bottle of this for the next fall when I have more room! An absolutely lovely offering from this amazing perfumery.

One of my favorite Autumn fragrances is Revelries from Pineward Perfumes...it's a complete joy to wear. It is also an amazing Winter perfume as well, so I'm able to enjoy it for many months in a row. As described, it does fit well in a cozy sweater setting, or during the holidays as well. Warm, comforting, spicy brew that is a dear companion and friend to me this time of year. Highest recommendation for Revelries!

I don't know how to describe this scent other than smelling like a simmering pot of potpourri. It's like if that smell of craft stores during the winter holidays wasn't weird and artifical. I got this as a freebie and didn't expect to like it because the Pineward website mentioned it had notes of raisin, but I'd say it's less like the stereotypical grape raisin and more of a general dried fruit smell.

Revelries opens very clove (which reminds me of Amber Oud Tobacco edition kind of clove note) and cinnamon heavy with moderate boozy quality. This is followed by an anise and black pepper or davanna-ish herbal note along with the smokey incense oud note. This a warm spicy fall cocktail in a bottle. Love it.

Imagine the dream Christmas of your childhood, spent in a cozy little snowy Midwestern town. Layered with White Fir (to add some fresh pine & citrus), this is HEAVEN. I can almost see the lights and hear the carolers.

This is a really fun fragrance. Smells liked spiked punch or spiced wine. Would be great for Christmas parties. Strong projection and uber strong longevity.

The notes here are incomplete, missing apple and dried fruits, which is important, because Revelries is quite a fruity, apple-forward perfume, but we'll touch on that in this review. Revelries is a fun release from Pineward, and I would argue one of, if not the most mass-appealing to the new and/or uninitiated nose. It opens up with a potent blast of sweet, boozy golden rum, and a very high pitched fruity apple note. It isn't quite the intense ripe red apple found in Apple Tabac, but it's a similar accord. If Apple Tabac highlights concentrated overripe red fall apple, this is a Golden Delicious, plucked right from the tree, and pressed into juice. With this bright, fruity apple, there's some dried fruits, and paired against the warm, fragrant overdose of cinnamon, clove, and mulling spice, lends a very prominent autumnal spiced apple cider accord, complete with a splash of rum. The very top of the opening is where this bright, juicy photorealistic apple is at its brightest and most crisp. Very quickly, the mulling spice - namely the cinnamon, come charging in, displacing apple and rum and the leading notes. By the time it settles, cinnamon is at the forefront, with a now stewed apple, then clove, then rum, followed by an unlisted, but rather prominent coniferous balsam fir needle presence - a signature of Pineward that isn't difficult to find in most offerings. As Revelries wears on, the cinnamon-dominant mulling spice continues to lead the pack, and what's interesting is, Nick seems to have a very unique, very unusual sort of signature cinnamon that he uses. It's very natural, very woody and organic, and diensr necessarily scream "CINNAMON", the way Red Hots or scented pine cones do. Revelries isn't like that though. The cinnamon that dominates this composition is a very spicy, very sweet sort of scented pine cone cinnamon. I find it a touch aggressive, but it certainly conveys the festive holiday idea of it all. Just, a bit spicy when smelled up close. Even once it's fully settled into its final form, I fail to recognize anything I can identify as hazelnut, however, I may understand a subtle edition of soft, resinous oud, and the only reason I say this, is because there's a subtle note that nods to a note in Brokilän, which is the only other Pineward to disclose the addition of oud. I also recognize this note from TRNP The Path, which absolutely has oud. Oud haters, fear not, because this is deeply buried, and simply contributes a bit of soft woody warmth and presence. This is the farthest thing from an oud fragrance. It's all sweet, boozy, heavily-spiced autumn apple. Most Pineward offerings are incredibly transportive for me, and I often include "scentscape descriptions" that they make me imagine. Revelries is the only one to not bring me that. Perhaps it's the overall familiarity of festive holiday cinnamon and mulled apple cider, or perhaps it's just the sheer likability of this one. It isn't as thought provoking as the unreasonably realistic red apple of Apple Tabac, but I do think it's vastly more wearable. Maybe the safest starting point for those checking out the house, but not exactly the best indication of Nicholas Nilsson's masterful work and its transportive abilities. Nevertheless, if you're looking for an incredibly festive, autumnal/Christmasy, heavily spiced apple, in a very realistic, potent, and approachable fashion - an unquestionably indie composition that could still be a date night or holiday signature, that conjures up very vivid autumn/Christmas imagery, then this may be the best in its category. If you like apple and cinnamon, this is certainly a must-try. A solid like, but not my favourite, considering the multiple masterpieces Pineward has to offer. Absolutely worth trying.

@SalivatingSoul-stice No, you're absolutely correct! Revelries does contain apple (to my nose, more of a stewed or cidered golden apple, rather than the super ripe red apple of Apple Tabac). I'm not sure why it isn't listed here (Fragrantica has done an awful job ar correctly listing Pineward notes), but Revelries absolute has apple in its disclosed ingredients, and it's a primary accord. I personally get an unlisted balsam fir element, but I won't debate that one. But yes. Apple and dried fruits.

I might be way off here but it smells like it has some kind of a green or dried green element that's lovely, smells very much like Persian spice shops, full of herbs and spices, it is not trying too hard to be something sophisticated, but it is. I get something burning green like eucalyptus but not exactly, something in the same family perhaps, a lot of cinnamon and cloves, a bit of smoke and an average spiced apple candle scent, mainly in the dry down, which i realize sounds cheap, but isn't.

It's weird as for my nose it smells the same as Alkemia's Miel de Sauvage et Tabac even thou there aren't many shared notes, at least on the list. Also a first perfume my cat has tried to lick, which is totally weird. Wtf cat? Sweet raisins and rum, pipe tobacco with clove.

A clove forward, spicy fragrance that is reminiscent of a big party in the fall. Somewhat earthy to my nose, with a hint of apple.

Christmas trees, spiced applesauce, molasses and plain coffee, strong and bold

I've tested a few Pineward scents so far. This is one of my favorites because I'm looking for fragrances that specifically will make me feel festive and cozy during the winter holiday season. For me, that is where Pineward perfumes would shine. Many of them will give me a feeling of warm coziness during Christmas. During other times of the year, though, I don't think this house is one that I would wear too often. Most of their scents only fit a very specific scent profile that I'm looking for. Many of them (including this one) have the woody or green forest scents, often mixed with some sweet gourmand notes. They are all very heavy and strong scents that would be too much for Spring or Summer , in my opinion. Though, I've only tried a few, and I know they do have some that they put in their "summer" or "spring" discovery set so perhaps those won't be so heavy.

This is dried fruits and rum. Very literal, and food like. Like a heavy fruitcake soaked in rum. A foody gourmand scent. If you want to smell like a rum/fruitcake this is the fragrance for you.

I wanted to love this one so much more because the notes are ones I typically enjoy, but this one fell flat for me. The opening of this smelled like a spiced cough drop funny enough, which I think is thanks to the blend of oud and cloves. That weird medicinal accord levels out in the heart. It smells like stewed apples with rummy raisins and brown sugar cinnamon. You also get a very spiced booziness throughout and toasted hazelnuts. The spices here read somewhat like potpourri rather than a spiced fragrance, and there’s some type of dusty resinous accord throughout the scent I couldn’t get past. Maybe the oud? I’m not sure. I’m pretty impartial to oud most of the time either way. It’s not really bad but it doesn’t work the way I think I’d like it to. I wish there was something to level out the spices or cut into the heavy blend.

Holy shite this was enormous. I sampled 10 different Pinewards on paper in the same room. I let them all dry in 12 hours. Then I came back to the room it was revelries that dominated the atmosphere! It conquered every air molecule 😅. And still was stronger than all the other 10 on paper! I kinda got a headache out of it. I liked murkwood and boreal as well as Ivymoss. My clear Pineward winners. Will try Brokilän shortly.

Spiced apple candle from Homegoods. The potpourri on your aunts table at thanksgiving. Walking into a yankee candle store in the fall. There’s another Pineward that had very similar associations for me, but I can’t remember exactly which one.

not pleasant whatsoever, on the dry down it is reminiscent of stomach-churningly sweet body fluids, like diabetes piss 1/10

Sadly, I can NOT stand this on skin and I am terrified to spray this on clothes. The 3 spices I absolutely cannot stand are Fennel, Star Anise and Clove. On my skin, this is PURE clove and I can not stand it at all. I'm glad I tried it, but I will never wear this. I will get sick.

Revelries opens with a blast of camphor, cinnamon, and clove, with a ghostly apple note in the background. The drydown is a rather staid woody amber that smells somewhat oud-like, although I wouldn't swear on that. The cinnamon note picks up in strength and dominates for a while. Nicholas Nilsson is to be commended for avoiding trite citrus/lavender cliches in his fragrances, but I can't help but think that a gentle lavender note would have provided a bit more contrast and ventilation to this uncomfortably humid affair.

I get apple cinnamon tobacco mostly, like others, but it dries down with a nice eucalyptus craft store note in there too. Almost too sweet on me, but not quite. Might be awesome for autumn. The raison note is very distinct on me. I like this a lot.

A lovely scent 🥰 It's a bit incense-y or catherdral-y to me, but I really like those types of evocations. Also remind me of Fig Newtons? In a nice, nostalgic way

This reminds me of spiced apple sauce but maybe it could be the dried raisins too!

Cloves and raisin are very prominent in this perfume.
