Lil' Dipper

On me this is an almost identical dupe of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre. It’s uncanny! I like that this line is made to layer. I combined it with Pillowtalk Poet and am loving it. Update: I agree with others about longevity issues--this should last longer for the price. STILL, it has turned into an obsession. This is EXACTLY like Chance Eau Tendre on me. However, my friend tried it on and it was like she'd sprayed an entirely different perfume, so this one may be very, very chemistry-dependent. Update to the update: layer this with SUN SAINT, get dolled up and hit the town on a hot summer night and prepare to feel like a million bucks. This is THE combo.

Smells good but longevity and sillage are terrible. 3 sprays on the wrist barely lasted an hour and I could only smell it with my nose right to it. If anyone has suggestions for similar smells please post! Looks like I'll be smelling that Chanel one soon.

Delicious: great balance of herbal and floral. It smells fresh like a dewy spring garden. Subtle without strong sillage or longevity, but will probably be my new workday staple for spring.

Pinrose is in some serious need of help in the longevity department, these are more fleeting than almost everything I've tried, including body sprays and solid perfumes. I absolutely think we should get more endurance for the cost. But beside that...I can't begin to downplay it, I like this fragrance quite a bit. Lil' Dipper is super nice, and super easygoing, and really fresh for the first 15 minutes. I normally don't fall hard for apple, but dare I say it...I like the green apple tone of this more than Light Blue (which I recently tried and enjoyed more than I remembered doing in years past, maybe my taste is changing?). I do think the inclusion of lavender is what's doing it for me, this is like sipping a bright apple tonic in a clean T-shirt, on the porch, on a mellow spring day 🍋🍏🌸 Peony isn't all that noticeable to me, but it's a background singer. In all honestly, and none of those base notes exist IMO. I don't think this smells like any of the Chance fragrances, and I actually like this more than them as well. It's beating out many of the freshies I've sampled. Yes...it fades unacceptably quickly, but my heavens, that 15 minutes is blissful. If I find this in a bargain bin, I'll swoop in for it.

I like this one a lot. It smells fresh to me but not overly sharp, a bit of flowers, feminine but a little more buzzy and energetic than the wedding-day florals that I usually enjoy. Some days that's what I want. My MIL wears something that smells very similar to this (no idea what, sorry, but I'd bet money it was Eau Tendre!) and she buys very expensive perfumes. I don't consider it super cheap, but I know in the fragrance world $90 (I've seen it on sale for $75) is not too shabby. It's fresh enough to give a nice bracing bergamot-powered lift to a winter day, and you won't smell out of place like a summer garden, but it is light enough for spring and summer. A good year-round scent to me. I feel the sillage is fine, but I like scents to be more intimate. Might be too weak for some, and for the price I agree it should be a bit stronger. look for the sale price or on ebay!

A nice, clean feminine fragrance. I'm normally not a fan of fruity florals because they're often so sweet, but this one makes me want to put on a sundress and go for a picnic in the park. The amber and woody notes give it a nice warm base while the citrus adds brightness. Always a good scent for a sunny day.

Nice scent - clean, herbal, cozy. But no projection or longevity :(

Chanel chance eau tender lavender

I am underwhelmed by the 14 sample "petal sampler" kit from Pinrose. Lil Dipper was one of the only ones I was drawn to but I wasn't sure if I liked it for itself or if it just seemed familiar. It reminds me a lot of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre also Chloe with the peony, and the lavendar kind of drawing on Mon Guerlain. It smells retro like something I'd wear in the 90s. The "petal wipe" longevity is moderate, but there's something weird about using a wipe and it smells a bit off like baby wipes (across all the wipes) and there is little to no projection. I think after swiping it sounds quite similar to the spray. Smells like what it says: innocent fresh peony, lavender, lemon, sandalwood. Pretty but not groundbreaking, but then again, I'm not sure this brand was trying to be.

Friend loves it, so tested it out to see. A light smell of medicinal woodchips, like a school playground. Not for me.

The tester at Sephora smelled turned. I hope the actual fragrance doesn't smell like that.

First, this perfume barely lasts an hour and has weak sillage beyond the initial alcohol-heavy blast - so I can't imagine anyone buying a full size would get their money's worth even if they liked the scent. Fortunately I bought this as part of a sampler kit. As to the scent itself, it's very "annoying." If the scent was stronger I could imagine I'd get a large headache from this, as I've got a minor one from it now. However, this isn't unexpected - I tried it on without checking the notes first, and the first strong scent I got hit with was the lavender. Lavender, for me, causes the "opposite" reaction - instead of relaxing, it really stresses me out. I avoid lavender essential oils and fragrances for that reason. Normally it isn't a huge issue if it is in a perfume and other notes balance it out, but here the lavender is central. The other strong scent I get from this is cedar, with perhaps a subtle bit of the sandlewood and amber. I definitely don't pick up on the apple, citrus scents, or other florals, which is unfortunately since I generally love perfumes with apple and/or white blossoms. The overall scent smells like a cleaner. I'll be washing the last bit of this off once I finish this review.

Smells like lavender but the sandalwood makes it not too intense very pretty my boyfriend hates lavender and likes this one lasts a few hours stays close to the skin fresh spicy is a good description of this

This may be the same scent as Ballroom Philosopher, a discontinued Pinrose fragrance. I think what may have happened was that BP was just renamed, and the fragrance itself was not discontinued.

My bottle must of turned, smells like celery and florals. It doesn’t last either. Waste of money :-(
