Secret Genius Shimmer Mist

the bottle has a sprayer but the liquid pink glitter is like a thin oil that squirts out. At first sniff this is mostly alcohol then sweet powdery/creamy... I get a slight white floral with woody sweet vanilla on my skin

While I'm not personally nuts for this (it's ok, I'm enjoying it, but I wouldn't be serious about it), I think everything from the scent to the packaging would be appealing and make for a safe gift if you at least know someone enjoys yummy things. It's a pleasant, soft, vanillic fragrance that plays nice and behaves well - forming a scent bubble but never crossing boundaries. I only get a small amount of woodiness in here, I'd personally like a bit more, and I believe it would provide this with more depth if it contained a heavier dose of sandalwood. A dash of patchouli wouldn't hurt either. I did notice that this unfolded more in the sunshine today 💛 I actually like it a bit more than Juicy's Gold Couture, but Jessica Simpson's Fancy still holds 1st place for my favorite caramel. If you've tried those ones however, and feel that they were too dense, maybe Secret Genius is for you! This one's a more transparent option. It's really in need of better longevity though, and I'd only purchase this if it were heavily discounted. The fragrance is nice, the performance is awful. (Cross posted from other entry.)

I found a bottle of this left behind in a residence I cleaned, tucked in the back of the medicine cabinet. I opened it and took a whiff and was immediately excited for a delicious gourmand scent. I went ahead and rolled it onto my wrist and right away it reminded me of my mother. This fragrance smells sickly sweet and old when I put it on. It smelled like Tabu maybe? from the 80s or 90s. Perhaps it was Charlie. Something my Mom used to wear that made me nauseous. So needless to say I won’t be wearing this, but I do enjoy smelling it straight out of the bottle. It seems to be all base notes. Just caramel vanilla old lady powder cakes. It might be good for layering. I’ll experiment and report back. EDIT: ok, I don’t know but, I love this now. It’s just a sweet caramelly yummy fragrance. I think it’s great for layering. It still has a slightly more vintage vibe to me but it’s different now. I dig it.

Basically a snickerdoodle cookie with sparkles on top. If you want your décolleté to look like a rave and smell like a bakery, this is the fragrance for you.
