Sun Saint

This scent is gorgeous and lasts for ages! I don't get the negative reviews, it lasts well over 12 hours on me. To me Sun Saint is mostly lime, some salt and a slightly powdery sandalwood with a dash of coconut and cashmere. A woody lime scent. It is bright, not overly sweet and sophisticated. It is different then all the other overly coconut cliche summer perfumes out there. I had the .25 n oz roller ball and longevity was great. I got the 1oz bottle after using that up and longevity is the same. Being it is a clean fragrance, perhaps the longevity lessens with time due to no preservatives and other chemicals. So maybe these reviews are from old stock, that has not been stored properly. I am hard to impress, I prefer sillage and longevity beasts from the likes of Mugler and Kerosene. Sun Saint lives up to my expectations. I sprayed some on yesterday at 4:30pm and I can still smell it the crook of my elbow at 8:30 am, 16 hours later!

This is a wonderful summer/beach fragrance that has a complexity to it that most other scents like this just never achieve. Let me tell you what it ISN'T: it is not a coconut bomb, it does not smell like suntan lotion, you will not feel like a fruity umbrella drink, and you will not get tired of it after a full day's wear. The notes dance around each other throughout each hour of wear, and as is apparently very typical with Pinrose, it settles into the skin quickly and becomes more blended with one's skin chemistry. The lime balances out the coconut, and the effect definitely puts you in the mind of a tropical vacation but in a subtle and sophisticated way. I am rarely impressed by fragrances like this and I absolutely love this one. UPDATE: this totally works layered with Lil Dipper. The combo creates an AMAZING summer fragrance.

This is one of my favorite perfumes of all time. I could drown in this scent and die happy. It lasts all day on my skin. Opens with fresh squeezed lime, eucalyptus and fresh coconut in the background, and dries down with salt, sandalwood, and sand. It is the scent of walking on the Atlantic beach, salty air in your hair, sand under your feet, lime Italian ice in hand. Your clothes smell like eucalyptus from the shower you just took and you sit on a big piece of sun-bleached driftwood while the sun shines on you. It's not a chemical floral/coconut sunscreen scent, it's not sweet or cloying, it's not too masculine or too feminine. The lime is fresh and sharp, the coconut is fresh, the salt is zingy. If I could only wear one fragrance for the rest of my life it would be this!

If you’re looking for a coconutty, sweet scent- this is not for you! Let me paint you a picture. You’re on the beach under the hot sun, drinking a corona while wearing your boyfriend’s tshirt. That’s what this smells like. Sexy. Salty. Lime-y, and a slight coconut base to bring it all together.

This is the epitome of summer to me. Absolutely wonderful scent of bright coconut and lime and salt. Unfortunately, it disappears as quickly as you put it on and I was so disappointing. Had to return. On the hunt for a dupe!
