Berg from Piper & Perro is my second favourite in their current line of four fragrances - here’s why. This fragrance is fresh, cool, and subtle - and when I say subtle, I mean that in the best way I can describe a fragrance. Berg opens with a refreshing coconut water note, followed by an Iceland Blue Lagoon note - my favourite thing about this note is that it uses headspace technology, meaning they used a particular method of extraction at the actual Blue Lagoon in Iceland to encapsulate a true authentic aquatic note - it is nothing like I have ever smelled before. Followed by this note are notes of linden blossom, black sea salt, cedarwood, and amber crystal. All of these notes bring something special to Berg that you cannot find in any other fragrance - each one works hand in hand with one another to create something that is fresh, salty, yet soft and almost powdery. This is a wonderful versatile fragrance that I would recommend to anyone looking for something that smells nice, but is not overpowering. The perfect “your skin, but better” scent. Very well done.

This fragrance is intoxicatingly delightful, a mesmerizing blend that I simply can't get enough of. The opening notes of coconut water and lime blossom create an invigorating freshness that instantly transports you to a tropical paradise. The subtle hint of sea salt and watery notes adds a refreshing, oceanic breeze, perfectly balanced by the earthy warmth of cedar. As it settles, the fragrance reveals a base of crystal amber, lending a touch of luxurious sweetness that lingers on the skin. It's a beautifully crafted scent that feels both uplifting and comforting. Each note is distinct yet seamlessly blended, making this fragrance truly captivating. I find myself irresistibly drawn to it, constantly wanting to breathe in its enchanting aroma. It's the perfect blend of fresh, aquatic, and warm notes, making it a standout addition to any fragrance collection.

Salted. Blue. Iceberg. This scent is fresh and lively. The salt note is the first thing that hits my nose as I spray BERG on my wrist. I'm reminded of Wood Sage & Sea Salt by Jo Malone and Pacific Ross Moss from Goldfield & Banks, but while those scents lean towards herbaceous, BERG maintains a blue water crispness that makes me thirst for a cold glass of water straight from a fresh water stream. This scent has surprisingly far projection. I was able to tell my boyfriend had sprayed it on from across the room. I would categorize this scent as unisex. It doesn't feel like doing the perfume justice to label it an aquatic scent. It doesn't fit in with your typical sporty cool water colognes at all! The salty fresh air and cold blue water make this scent feel bold and unique.

Love this fragrance. I appreciate the salty note that sets it apart from some of my other summer faves. Unfortunately for me, longevity and silage are always a struggle, but this one lends itself so well to an ensemble performance. When I want to lean into the beach vibe I layer it with Sailing Day. When I feel like embracing the whole tropical-ness of it all, I put down a scent base of Tropidelic by BBW. When the heat and humidity are off the charts here in Atlanta, I give it a little Light Blue boost. I haven’t tried it in conjunction with Soleil Blanc yet. That will be next!

Refreshing creation, literally and figuratively. I’m initially hit with a subtly sweet and smooth coconut water note, it’s mouthwatering. The sea salt becomes prominent afterward and stays present for the life of the application. There are some mild green notes underlying things and a really crisp cedar note balances everything. Very pleasant, unique and surprisingly long-lasting scent.

Berg smells like being on a tropical vacation while you watch the rest of your friends on social media get buried by snow back home. The coconut water and lime stacks so well giving fresh fruit, or a tropical mixed drink. The sea salt, water and resin is the warm sea breeze floating up from the beach. I want to wear this perfume on every snowy day of the winter.

This is really nice for summer. Lots of fresh coconut and lime, but it avoids smelling like suntan lotion/coppertone. Surprisingly long lasting for this style of fragrance. I would consider this to be solidly a unisex fragrance, but maybe leaning a little feminine. I am a male and would wear this in the summer without hesitation though.

This isn't every other coconut-forward summer scent, it's summer at night when the temperature drops and you have the beach to yourself. It's a little chilly, but still light and creamy. Coconut is easy to get wrong, but this doesn't smell cheap or juvenile, and it certainly isn't overpowering. This is crisp, cool water. (10/10)

Want this!!!! Salty, fresh mist on a pier on a summer morning. Subtle coconut water too. I have not smelled many frags quite like this. So unique. Love this so much going to order a 10ml online for my upcoming trip. Can’t wait to try the rest.

Coconut water is the star but it's not overpowering. More chilly blue waters than tropical breeze. Fades to slightly salty woody finish, sits close to skin scent. Leans slightly feminine of unisex, mostly a daytime choice.

ugh i need this so badly. i just sprayed it on my hand at a store and i can’t stop smelling my hand... so salty and fresh and delicious. i almost impulse bought it! i will be back for it lol

Smells cheap and nauseating, I hate it. I regret buying it.
