Pistachio Biscotti

Bought on Amazon having seen kathleenlights (kathleensmells on tik tok) rave about pistachio and marzipan scents on her page. It sent me down a rabbit hole of deciding pistachio is definitely one of my favorite scents and wanting to try several out. I got this on Amazon for 45 bucks so definitely a cheapie! It smells VERY sweet but not synthetic to me. It’s so delicious. It hits that pistachio and biscuit notes so well as well as the amaretto. It’s like a younger/sweeter/easier daytime wear version of TF Lost Cherry. The dry down I think is beautiful like I said don’t get synthetic from it. It’s one of my favorites now. Just get it from Amazon, return if you don’t like it so you have nothing to lose!! It also lasts all throughout my work day on my clothes. I have Kayali pistachio and I’d say I prefer this one. But it is sweet. It doesn’t have many side-notes like kayali or TF does. Very straightforward gourmand. But airy enough that I will be wearing throughout the summer.

Almost overwhelmingly sweet on the drydown, but after a few minutes, it’s absolutely delicious. Definitely avoid if you don’t want anything too sweet or foodie. Smells just like almond extract with that touch of cherry or super intense marzipan cookies with cinnamon. I don’t get any floral notes, but I’m not complaining. Has pretty strong sillage and lasts about 5 hours, though a faint skin scent lasts the rest of the day. Just be aware that the bottle isn’t the best quailty—the first one I ordered leaked straight through the packaging AND the shipping box which the company thankfully replaced. The replacement didn’t leak through, but there was a tiny bit of leakage from the atomizer. In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ❌ Oakcha Kissed Glow: a summery pistachio and jasmine scent, nowhere near as sweet ❌ Zara Pistachio Infusion: smells more lile fresh apples than pistachio or cherry

I'm gonna be honest - I don't even really know what a pistachio nut is supposed to smell like. I've eaten them and they're delicious... but I've never really paid any attention to their scent I guess. This is a lovely gourmand, but if you think nutty/almondy scents are sickening, you will not enjoy this. This is pure amaretto, biscuity goodness. More almond-like than cherry to me. The biscuit note shines in the opening and it dries very sugary sweet on the skin. It reminds me a LOT of those sugar dusted Italian almond wedding cookies. So if you wanna smell like one... well. This is your girl. I'm really enjoying this. My first blind buy, too! 7.5/10

very yummy! on the initial spray its very strong on the cherry, with a little cinnamon and biscuit. but the dry down is more pistachio and biscuit heavy, reminiscent of ice cream. very nice mature gourmand! makes you smell like a sexy sensual sweet treat ! edit: while i love this scent a whole lot, i don't recommend it as a blind buy. i have a love hate relationship with how the notes come together, at times it smells odd. i can now say that it is extremely cherry and extremely cinnamon at first spray, which smells a bit medicinal and overpowering. then it melts into a beautiful spicy yet somehow creamy gourmand. though, it might just be me lol !!

Delicious, and lasts! Got the body spray as well, which has woeful packaging, but also boasts good longevity. Both products retain a legitimate Pistachio note through the drydown, lovely gourmand, not up to par with LAURA MERCIER Pistachio, but that is sadly discontinued and much pricier. I'm happy to have this instead of DS & DHURGA Pistachio, too, as I consider $200 too much to pay for this sort of unsophisticated but delightful gourmand style of perfume. Can also recommend Demeter Pistachio Ice Cream, which I believe predates Kayali.

Yum yum yum!! Buttery, fluffy, chewy, creamy marzipan with a thread of sweet candied cherry 🍒. This has been incorporated into my "nighttime" routine along with the matching body butter. Wearing this I feel cozy and warm... and smell absolutely delicious! This is strictly a bedtime fragrance for me...but I can smell it throughout the night and when I wake up in the morning. This is literally having a "sweet dream" 😴 ☁️ lol.

Smells just like the body butter... a nutty cherry pistachio cookie. Very gourmand and delicious... I get a strong blast of sweet tart cherry with nuts ..then the cookie comes soon after. It's here for a good time and not a long time, but she is super fun! And I think this will be a great layering fragrance, I can already imagine this pairing with so many of my other gourmand leaning fragrances.

Okay... I’m gonna seem so indecisive because of my last review, but I let it sit for a few weeks and now I love it?? Like, at first, I got so much synthetic cherry it gave me a headache, but now it’s just pure almond extract and everyone (with little to no perfume knowledge mind you) says I smell like sugar cookies. I love this, but you have to let it linger for a bit.

My favorite perfume of all time and so affordable. It smells just like the body butter and the body spray, just stronger like a perfume. It's a true pistachio biscotti pastry dipped in pistachio almond ice cream! I have so many products from this brand and they have great customer service.

Strong cherry and almond notes in the opening and pistachio pastry in the dry down. So delicious and sweet, I have to restrain myself from licking it off after I spray it. Doesn’t project much, but would work perfectly for an intimate night in or for a cozy bedtime scent.

Delicious! I agree with everything Kitkat said. It’s the pistachio that I’ve been searching for. Nice and strong, nutty, cherry/almond gourmand. If Kayali wasn’t what you wanted, try this!

A gourmand lovers DREAM! Smells identical to the body butter! Smells like a thick, dense pistachio ice cream cake!! It’s mouth watering, strong, and lasts for agesssss!

THIS IS YUMMO! It’s so cozy and sweet. I spray this before I go to bed and it calms and comforts me. I will always have this perfume in my collection.

Makes me hungry for pistachio pudding.

When I first received this, this was weak and smelled like Play-doh. I was not impressed and immediately moved it to my sell pile. No one was biting on the listing. So after my shower one night, I decided to give it another try. I ended up dousing myself with it and choked myself out lol. This just needed to sit! It smells exactly like a cherry biscotti/marzipan without it being overly cloyingly sweet. Super comforting and perfect for this time of year. I am keeping this!

First spray I’m instantly reminded of Jergens lotion, the original formula from back in the day! I definitely get the almond & cherry in the opening. As it sits on my skin I start picking up notes of pistachio, like the scent of a bowl of Talenti Pistachio Gelato with vanilla macarons on the side. It’s delightful to the senses but fleeting as it fades quite fast. Next time I’ll try pairing it with the body butter to see if that helps.

Trying this one out today. Initial thoughts, I think this smells amazing and deliciously gourmand. Upon first spray, you really can spell the pistachio and cherry notes. Once it dries down, it starts to become more cinnamon-biscuit like. I do smell the play-doh note that some people describe but it’s not strong enough to be a deal breaker. We will see how it goes as I head off to work.

As a lot of people have stated, the drydown can be very off putting.im not sure how to describe it but its almost too sweet and synthetic. I have both the body spray and the perfume, I honestly think that you do not need both. Go with body spray of you'd lile to save money. It is a true pistachio scent, I like laying this with other gourmand perfumes. I like it overall.

It’s delicious. Much better than all the other pistachio gourmands on the market. But it makes my skin itch 😶

I like her. Are there really cherries in this? I don't get them at all. Instead, I'm greeted with a whiff of freshly baked cookies. But it's not just a whiff, oh no. I am the cookie queen herself. I am suddenly made out of cookies. It projects insanely and it lasts for days on my clothes and hair. Yes, I sprayed a bit of this in my hair. And you should too!!!! Though I will say, she is an autumn or winter girl. She feels very out of place in the humid summers of my city, though having a bit of dry hot air reignites this frag after she's starting to tire out. It's funny how the notes don't mention pistachio at all despite its name. Despite this, I think it smells more pistachio-y than others I've smelled such as Sunset Gelato. I give it a 4/5 on the pistachio scale and a 5 on the cookie scale. This was made with all the cookie queens out there in mind.

Meh. Saw the notes and wanted to love this. Opening is intriguing but it quickly gets a synthetic syrupy sweet aspect that's kind of nauseating. Sometimes that disappears, but sometimes it hangs on with claws. Cold weather might improve. Of note, I find the same SSS "something" in many of the Demeter frags. Not sure what it is but not a fan.

The opening is insane, fresh sugar cookie, almond extract and marzipan. The dry down smells like a dirty biscotti (like actual dirt). My husband says it smells like oatmeal. The dry down is almost immediate but for those first few seconds its heaven.

Oh I did not like this. In the opening I got the cherry and biscuit, it reminded me of amaretto. I thought it was really pleasant but very very sweet. Then it dried down. I don't know what it is about the dry down in this scent, but it made me feel sick. It just smelt awful, cheap and it didn't hold the beauty in the opening. It was like a melted plastic nasty sickening powder smell. it's only $40 for a 100ml bottle, so I really didn't expect too much. Just wish it didn't dry down like that. The bottle itself is super cute I love the lid and shape. Ill keep looking for my perfect pistachio scent :)

I absolutely loved the opening of this fragrance, it smelled exactly like a pistachio biscotti with hints of cherry here and there. However, it quickly dried down to a mixture of pistachio biscotti and plastic. It's so disappointing and the plastic just overpowers the scent. I have let it sit for four months now, and the plastic note has only slightly died down, but it's still very present. I would not recommend this perfume.

i love nutty scents and in the air this smelled nice but on my skin it smelled very sour and just weird. i gave it to my friend and she liked it so it mightve just been me

I hate this perfume, this reminds me of a Demeter scent. Initially, it delivers a realistic punch of exactly what it claims to be. Within 5 minutes, a scratch and sniff card from the 80s. Look @ the notes, it truly does deliver in the promising opening. Just failed in the execution. I had high hopes for this since BBW is discontinuing their Pistashio lotion and I was looking for a rival to Kayali's Yum Pistachio which is miles better than this despite how weak Kayali's is. #Frustrated If you're familiar with theodoros kalotinis scents, you'll understand how realistic upon first spray some perfumes can be. He however offers a linear wear where the scent sticks. Sigh, just disappointed. I will use this as a bathroom spray.

I might have received mine from a rotten batch cause this is sooo bad!!! smell soo synthetic. You almost smell something nearly biscotti and then it is gone! A total failure for sure. All you are left with is a terrible scent you want to wash off of your hands. The worse part is I had to pay custom duties twice the price of my order upon arrival of UPS. anybody looking for a beautiful pistachio scent, beware, THIS IS NOT IT. Thank god the pistachio frenzy is vanishing gradually.... the terrible fragrances I blind bought in my hunt of the perfect pistachio scent pfff

I did hate it initially. I held onto my little spray bottle for about a year. Then when I went to give it to someone else, I gave it a second chance and ended up loving it. It definitely had more of a cherry biscuit forward scent at the beginning, and wears down kind of nutty. I wouldn’t say it’s an ashtray like smell at the end, just more earthy than the initial sweet smell. It depends on where you’re spraying it. I see this more as a body spray than a skin perfume. Nice to throw on if you want to add some sweet dessertness to your day.

the notes are spot-on tbh!! i get full on amaretto realness from Pistaché- a slightly syrupy cherry sweetness with a buttery, nutty biscuit crumbled on top. as most pistachio and almond-ey fragrances go, i do get a bit of synthetic/metallic bite at the drydown, but it's much less so than Kyse Frangipane al Pistachio for example. Longevity is nothing special as I expected, but I don't mind because i like this scent best at first spray anyway!

This is giving burnt pistachios for me, like overly roasted pistachio. And that is all. It smells too much like actual food rather than a frag with a hint of pistachio, not something I wanna smell of, if that makes sense. It's very gourmand and I haven't worn it properly yet as I got a decant to try before I buy and I am so glad I did. Not worth me spraying on my skin for the whole day.

Delightful opening with what smells like a mix of Cheirosa 62 and Pistachio Pudding. It dries down very quickly though and becomes more baked gourmand and play-doh almond. It's not as nice in the dry down. I wish it were. I also find that the alcohol or something else in the formula irritates my skin.

I thought I was going to love this. I love the scents of the lotion and the body polish. For the first few minutes it’s a beautiful pistachio fragrance, then upon dry down I get a weird, almost ashtray like smell. I’m so disappointed! !

It's a pretty straight forward scent, it's very very sweet and the initial spray is better than the dry down. It's cherry almond mostly, kind of nutty but definitely can be overpowering.

Very photorealistic smell of a pistachio pastry, unfortunately gave me a rash immediately after spraying on my arm. Be careful and do a test spray on your skin first.

Bought this perfume blind based on Beth's article on the body butter and it's wonderful! Smells just like pistachio cookies.

I wish it wasn't $22 to ship this to the UK. :-(
