Fève Nectar

It smells more like those type of flowers and fruits that smell like cocoa, instead of the actual scent of chocolate itself. The floral accord smells more like the semi cocoa fruity Spanish Broom flowers than that of Orange Blossom. It’s a sweet fragrance but it doesn’t feel like a typical gourmand. Long lasting and fantastic! I goggled some flowers and fruits that smell like cocoa. • Cocoa scented flowers: Chocolate Cosmos & Chocolate Orchid (have not smelled those two) and Spanish Broom (this one I have smelled and loved in the magical town of Chimayo New Mexico; it’s incredible and smells like an accord in this fragrance!) • Cocoa scented fruit other than the cacao pod: Black Sapote (haven’t tried but wonder if it smells like this).

I have thousands of niche fragrances in my collection, but nothing has ever compared to this. I won’t delve into a full review, but I have to stress that if you appreciate a sophisticated, beautifully crafted gourmand, you must try this. Wow! When I first smelled it, I was reminded of the coveted, now-retired gourmand, Coquin—but this is even more exceptional, enriched by that unique Santal de Paris essence. I’m not suggesting they’re the same, just that they share a similar vibe! It was love at first sniff!

This is a stunner! I have Santal De Paris as well, and I love both of them! Gorgeous fragrances! Can't go wrong.

This smells like a mess! If you are expecting a banger like Santal de Paris, you will be extremely disappointed. Oh, and the fake review below by Elizabeth Feliz is simply to push the brand since she wants you to buy it from HDYS. We see you girl.

I took a chance on this new release based on Santal de Paris, which is my all-time favorite sandalwood scent. Unfortunately Fève Nectar is a mess of a perfume. I wasn’t sure what I was smelling at first. The sillage is reminiscent of orange blossom/ vanilla cocoa-infused potpourri. It’s too sweet, too over-the-top and tries too hard without going anywhere. I detect no benzoin, tonka or musk. Disappointedly, a hard pass.

It's good. The reviewers who do not like it seem to prefer Santal de Paris, which is a Sol De Janeiro 59 iteration. This is more sophisticated and quite a bit spicier. Different scent families altogether. If you like one, you will probably not like the other, and vice versa. I prefer the Feve Nectar, as it is much more interesting and, dare I say it, adult.

It's meh. Didn't really get any ldbs comparison til i was reading the reviews, and even then it's a struggle to get that scent vibe for me even with the shared notes. To me it also smells like a mess. It gives me baby wipes/baby products vibes. Idk I *want* to like it since the notes are up my alley... I'll try it again in the winter. sample first.

This definitely gives Love Don’t be Shy with all this orange blossom. I do like it though but it’s not a love like Santal De Paris is. I will stick with it a bit to see if I will keep it or declutter it..

C’est une reformulation de bitter peach tom Ford ils ont changé un peu les ingrédients, mais ça m’a fait tout de suite. Penser à quelque chose que je connaissais. Et là ça m’est venu d’un coup.

Very sweet orange blossom with chocolate and vanilla notes. It has a fluffy musk drydown. Not much evolution, it stays very linear. It does remind me of LDBS with added cacao. Good. Very nice.
