Gimgembre

First: the name is Gingembre, not GIMgembre... Anyway I've had a sample of this languishing in my sample stash for a while & decided to try it today without looking it up first. I live on the edge, you know? The opening is a strooong blast of alcohol, which evaporates away immediately leaving a veil of slightly citrusy spice. Very, very nice. Seems perfectly unisex to me. Not too sweet, I could see anyone who likes soft cardamom and citrus liking this one. Bit clove-y as well. I love mint in fragrances but I don't detect it in here at all. I can really smell the cardamom and artemisia most prominently, which I love. This is seriously well-blended but wears softly. In fact I had to look it up to see if it was a natural perfumery brand, because something about the softness reminds me of perfumes I've tried that contain only natural ingredients. However, though it wears softly I can still smell it pretty well wafting up from my wrist. I'm tempted to dump the rest of my sample vial on myself; I really like it. My sample is from Luckyscent but it appears that they no longer carry this line, which is a shame because based on how much I like this one, I'd love to try more from this line.
