Seychelles

This is beautiful fruity, freshie. I totally get the opening citrusy opening - which is rounded out by the peach. The brightness of the black currant adds a slight bright/sparkling note. And, then the sweet caramel emerges. I get a bit of the powder, but it's not a powdery fragrance on me. The powder adds a soft texture, and doesn't overwhelm the scent profile. It feels fun, uplifting, and yet still soft. Picture this: you're hanging out with your girls outside for drinks, the sun is setting and you've got a light throw laid across your lap as it's gotten slightly chilly. It's nice! It's not FB worthy for me because it's not unique. I've smelled this before in another fragrance - I'll name it once I figure it out! lol

This is a real powder-bomb in the opening (and mid), to my nose. It's either powder, or a thick slathering of coconut sunscreen. Underneath that cocooning heavy blanket, I can feel the rose and peach struggling to reach out to me and by the time they've managed to shrug it off in the dry-down, they've all but disappeared. The poor mandarin never even got a look in. I'm left with a pleasant-enough but slightly jumbled woodsy-musky-floral-fruity cocktail.
