Coton Poudré

I discovered this brand thanks to a stall in Iseo, a beautiful lakeside location here in Italy. There was a festival with food from all over the world, along with various stands selling different items, and I was drawn to these white gazebos. Underneath them, I found all the Plantes et Parfums references, plus some lavender-based products. I tested several fragrances, and this one particularly caught my attention. In the following days, I did some research on Vinted and purchased a full-size bottle at a very reasonable price, missing just a couple of sprays. It’s a clean and comforting fragrance, perfect after a shower or before bedtime. It has something childlike and maternal, a true indulgence. The longevity and projection are not significant; it’s more of a subtle skin scent. For fans of floral or powdery scents, it might be interesting, but it doesn’t bring anything new compared to Avon’s Soft Musk, if you know what I mean.

Clean, feminine and graceful. This scent is unoffensive: only cotton, slightly touched by coconut and vanilla. There is a woody base, but very close to the skin. Jasmine adds seductive hint, however remains quiet. Intimate projection is the only weakness, Cotton Poudré is definitely nice EdT. It is not just mild, it is comforting and safe. On skin lasts 3 hours, on clothes almost all day...

This smells exactly like the name suggests - Cotton Poudre. It's a perfect "out-of-the-shower-and-straight-to-my-comfy-pajamas" fragrance :) It's just very soft and cozy.

I wear this whenever i'm out of the shower, or going to sleep... I always wanted to smell like a baby, and i found the perfect scent. Too bad it doesn't last long.

It’s not really a parfume. It’s more about expending your aura, in an ethereal, subtle, intimate way. It’s a vibe of yourself left on your sheets. A dream. More a transparent and warm heliotrope than a cold cotton flower, i’d say. A woolly quality, something alive like... fur?
