Grenade Hibiscus

Plantes & Parfums is a French perfume house from the capital of Fragrances : Grasse. I already own one flanker from their " Les Intemporels" line and they're all really unique. Alltough they all seem to have a weak projection and lasting power, they are quite cheap for qualitative ingredients and unique scent profiles. I always go & take a whiff at their fragrances in a local nice shop in my city center. Their all at 23 euros which is really affordable. And Saturday I got the chance to put my nose on Grenade Hibiscus. I always challenge myself when it comes to notes & scent profiles I don't know quite well or at all. I never had a Hibiscus note in any of my fragrances and that's an interesting floral note for summer, Pomegranate & Peach are always nice, fruity, sometimes bitter but in this case, they're both sweet. One note that isn't common either but that is really recognizable is the Pitahaya (commonly known as Dragon Fruit). It is prominant on the blend and makes a really nice mix with the Pomegranate, Peach & Hibiscus. A nice green & fruity light fragrance for a lazy humid summer day in vacation. Then you get plenty Citruses such as Lime and Lemon for a greener fruity aspect, something fresh. For the floral of course, the Hibiscus, a shy but creamy Jasmine that goes really well with another subtle note of Vanilla. To be honest my nose doesn't pick up the Patchouli note, but I get the woody ones. Once the perfume dries down. On the opening the fruits are the stars of the show, then limes, then florals and woody notes, and whitin an hour you need to reapply, it is astonishingly light :( I give it a 6,5/10 for the originality but the lightness of the fragrance makes it lose much points.
