I stopped what I was doing to come over and comment. Sprayed this on about 30 minutes ago. And just now as I was working I caught a scent and thought "A&F Fierce?" That's what this cologne reminded me of and I couldn't place it before! A classic from 2002. Is it a complete match? Nope, im just sharing what my brain brought to mind as I wasn't paying attention. (compared the 'perfume pyramid' and they dont really match at all lol. I wonder how acurate those are? ) I like this fragrance. Playboy finally stepped up their game, potency wise & package wise. The atomiser is still average, but at least it has a small cover over the atomiser connector like normal. And the blue bottle looks like a proper cologne, where the others dont seem as nice. And this one tends to last longer than the other PB scents. **Looks like Coty didnt make this, like all the others.I guess thats why its more potent and different bottle. This is made by SA Designer Parfums Ltd** Also, the retail price point for this is 3-4x higher than all their previous ones. (I get this at Ross for around $15) Looks like they're trying to get out of the lowest cheapie division, and more into the $30-40 range where David Beckham hangs out. But my #1 fav Playboy scent is London. I friggin love that one! Very sexy. And Malibu is probably #2. Great for summer.

I first received this as a sample in an order and fell in love as soon as I tried it out. It lasts long on my skin personally, and feel like it's comparable more so to Versace Dylan Blue if anything. It's a pretty youthful fragrance and is just a nice freshie good for any occasion/season. It goes for pretty cheap, so I'd recommend picking this up if you have extra cash to burn on a fragrance.

can someone find me a replacement for this fragrance? I unfortunately cant find it anywhere anymore, there was something so good in this that i cant explain, no any other blue fragrance had that what this one had. Idk if it was the apple, lavander and amber combo but it had something very addicting in it

Noooo whyd they discontinue it its so hard to find. Not sure if they still have it at ross. But something about this cologne makes me heavily nostalgic. i use it more than any of my other colognes in my collection.

Okay i just bought this from ross for 16.99 and its soooo flipping sexy. I love this stuff. It has a hint of sauvage with that ambroxan note. But it kinda reminds me of ysl y a tiny bit with the green apple

For all the lavender lovers, this is a hidden gem, and a cheapie too. It’s a nice mix of green apple and lavender with a woody drydown. Great for spring, summer and autumn.

Not bad, but I do not get the dior sauvage comparison at all.

Not potent enough to parallel Sauvage, smells more synthetic also, less projection and performance of course, but for a third of the price, a really great replacement for the budget conscious. People will think you’re wearing Sauvage if they catch a whiff. It’s the Ambroxan. Alcohol blast upon spraying but that fades in about 5-10 seconds into a fruity, lavender, amberiness. Transforms quite quickly into what smells like a slightly fruitier Sauvage. About 20 mins in it smells more like a less spicy Sauvage clone, a lavendery, patchouli ambroxan starts to take over, with the lavender accord kind of infused into the musk, with tonka dancing off to the back. I’d wear this at night, or during the day in Spring, Summer but especially Fall.

This does not smell exactly like Sauvage. I do get a bit of the Ambroxan, but to me, it leans more toward a mix of Dylan Blue, A&F First Instinct Blue, and A&F Fierce. I just sprayed it, so I am not sure about the performance yet. It is very versatile in my opinion. You can wear it to work, on a night out, at school, in the gym, or during your free time. For 100ml at 17 dollars, it is a solid purchase. I also like the bottle. If you are on a budget and want something similar to Dylan Blue with a twist, this is definitely worth trying. 6.5/10

This smells like a slightly youthful synthetic-sweet ambery/berry leather to me

A sample of this was tossed in a recent Fragnet order for free by whomever packed it up, so I gave it a try. Not something I'd have ever purchased because it's obviously cheap and not going to perform well at all. Literally lasts about 15 minutes then it's a skin scent which is to be expected. The scent is your typical dime a dozen men's cologne smell, but it gets stale rather quickly with a cheap chemical odor. It's not awful and would be fine for a teen or someone who doesn't mind ultra cheap department store fragrances that have a body spray vibe. If you wear Axe or Old Spice body sprays this would work for you, but if you regularly wear anything designer quality or higher don't bother.

So I had this very interesting conversation with a random woman sitting next to me on the train. Asked her to smell this and another very different scent and what was her impression. (To my visible disappointment) she said she liked this one. So I asked why, and she said it was just lighter more floral, I asked like perfume, she said perhaps that's why she liked it. But it left a good impression on her and she would have been 30+ For me , been wearing this now all day, so it's lasted a good 7-8 hours on my skin albeit a skin scent after 3 hours. Given I bought it at £25, I think that's a great performance. As for the scent, I just don't agree with the woman. It's a light scent but that doesn't make it good. It makes it lack depth for me. It's certainly got floral layers. I enjoyed wearing it at first for the calming vibes of the lavender. I was hoping for more amber notes. But that seemed to have faded after the opening. The scent is just tbh a bit of a weird floral. I'm wondering who would wear this. I'm not sure the playboy brand is known for scents for men, ironically, as it's know for other things. So I wonder. I wore it post run/gym so maybe I wore it for the wrong type of occasions. But it's certainly not better than more heavyweight alternatives.

I added this to an order for 6,90€ to reach the free shipping order amount, so I almost got it for free. But still then, I regret the purchase. I own more than 50 fragrances including a lot of great cheapies that smell great. This one, however smells very very cheap and ultra syntethic. I don't get any comparison to Sauvage. Yes, it has Ambroxan, but it doesn't smell like Sauvage at all. The only resemblance my nose can pick up is A&F Fierce, but done in a very bad way. It really smells like an extremely cheap unknown aftershave or a bad deodorant. Maybe a teenager who doesn't have any money to spend on fragrances might like it, but nowadays there are so many better smelling cheapies around, This is trash. Update: in the drydown after 5 hours, it gets Sauvage-like vibes, but it's only a skin scent then

It’s not horrible but almost. Barbershop fougarie but with a sickeningly sweet opening and not much depth to the spice. If you like them this sweet there are better options.

It’s not a terrible smell honestly. I expected something trashy and screechy sweet but the ambroxan kinda takes over. That said, it is still quite sweet in a candy type of way. I got it as a free sample from fragrancenet but thought I’d review it anyway. Quite feminine to me so a woman could wear it. Fitting for a zesty, metro type of dude. Not my type of scent but it’s not too bad objectively as a product. Performance is fitting of an edt. If you like the branding and candy sweet scents then I’m sure you’d be alright with it, although you’re not gonna stand out and it’s not gonna last

Reminds me of YSL Y edp. The ambroxan does give allusions to Savauge if you've owned a giant bottle like I have. It's blue, clean and fresh. With some hype it could do well at large. Pretty basic to most of us though. I like it for a dumb reach.

I picked up a 1oz at Ross for 9.99 and it’s actually pretty good! I don’t get the Montblanc legend comparison. I get a fresh smell out of it. Mainly the apple, and light florals. But I’m glad I picked it up at a good price.

To me this smells like a cross between A&F First Instinct Blue with the floral aspects of Azarro Chrome
