Playboy VIP for Him Black Edition

I have a 60 ml tester which cost me 2 euros, Smell typical potent, sweet, gormund, sexy cinnamon combined with nuts and sweet pineapple ... mmmmm.yummy and sexy scent. the lower notes are sexy, EVER! Long lasting scent! sweetness and sex in one, works narcotically. If you like Joop Homme, Versace Eros, Bogart Pour Homme, Le Male, Jaguar Gold. You will like this fragrance, I highly recommend it. 8,5/10

After shave (on my skin): Very interesting and I thought so even before testing it, just by looking at the notes. It's not too nutty but the nut scent is prominent. Very balsamic. A little bit more patchouli than wood but they make a nice blend. Very weak cinnamon and leather. I like what the patchouli makes in this scent. It brings coldness to a warm, balsamic base. I dislike the leather & wish it didn't exist at all in this fragrance. Could be used all year around but mostly suitable for fall.

I had a dream I was Jacques Guerlain, transfixed by civet induced Stendhal syndrome, hand sniper steady and carefully, so carefully, breathing out as I poured an ungodly measure of vanillin into a cauldron of Jicky. What wonders would my next intake of breath reveal... Except in my dream it was a grapefruit heavy batch of Aventus and as much 24 Gold as I could get through customs without a hazmat import license. This one is more rare to come by now! The longevity and projection are really good. I get a dark fruity chocolate and hazelnut smell and it's great for colder weather. I give this a 8.7/10

It's suuuuper sweet, definitively not for warmer weather. Kinda thought it has a vanilla note but apparently it doesn't. Other then the cinnamon I don't get any distinct note.

I don't get much fruitiness here, unlike another reviewer. Instead, the thyme provides a kind of hard edge, contrasting with the hazelnut, and there's clearly some vanillic sweetness, though not nearly as much as I thought there would be. Over time, the hard edge softens up and it reminds me of scents like Valentino Uomo or Ferrari's Leather Essence. The cinnamon is quite mild and I can't say I got clear patchouli. The leather note is more of a mild texture than a smell here, and it's a touch musky, but not of the "laundry" or "chemical" variety. So, this is very good for the price (less than $7 total for 100 ml). The texture is resinous/suede, with the hazelnut on top and minor contributions by the other notes. Longevity is at least very good and projection is fine for me (on spray to the chest), though not monstrous after half an hour or so. This is what I thought Scent Intense Deep would be like, but it turned out that one is rich in geranium but mild on the hazelnut or hazel wood (whatever it's supposed to be), and that one cost about twice as much (though I'll likely keep that one too). If you are expecting more at this price point, I have a feeling I know who you voted for in the last election! UPDATE: Longevity was excellent and projection at least very good. This is the best Playboy scent I've tried so far, as it can compete with the best designers, in terms of my preferences (I'm talking about the drydown). Valentino Uomo was a bit rough/"chemical" for me but this smooths things out and I can appreciate it for hours. I think I need to create a "super cheapos" award on my fragrance blog!

Even though I said, I do not praise the cheapest designer perfumes perfumes, now I must. Initially incredibly strong, almost create headache, and only with a two splashes in the bathroom. Works very well, and totally different from the classic designer offers. Deep, strong, and full of darkness. Even more tilted towards a niche perfumes. Sweet leather, with patchouli and nice thyme, which seems to have rolled into molasses from hazelnuts. 'Cause bergamot, reminds me on Аrmani Code, even I could call him niche Armani Code. Resin gives a this noble feeling which again tends towards a niche creation, and there is somewhere along the lines of the famous bourbon vibe. It is really incomprehensible, at least to me, so that Playboy launched a so noble perfume! Seems to be the Playboy really struggling about the perfume and Vip Platinium Edition. Provided that Playboy Platinum is similar to some other perfumes, also very good, and this not so much, or at least not to such a degree. Unfortunately, it's not all so magical, for that is taken care of projections, which a really is not great, and which throws down to an hour, maybe an hour and a half. Again, for that hour and a little more time, provides enjoyment in it, and that there is no etiquette Playboy on it, no one would believe that it was a really Playboy perfume. I still can not believe that this is a Playboy perfume, but as I already wrote, in the harsh reality brings me back projection. However, and it can be filed, especially if you consider the price of the perfume, which is ridiculous small.
