Playboy VIP Platinum Edition

This and the regular VIP are my cheapie go-to's because they smell great and women like them. VIP is sweet, gourmand pineapple, chocolate to me. VIP Platinum is sweet, fruity, gourmand, praline. I have other, more expensive, higher rated, and more universally respected fragrances but this cheapie sure does get compliments from women. That praline scent seems to really resonate with females. It's almost unisex and it is admittedly very sweet. My friend (female) went out and bought it after smelling it on me and after I told her it was like $9. She sprayed her room with it. She said the woody notes keep it from straying too far into women's perfume and that it is definitely for men but it drove her nuts. I've gotten that response from most women regarding VIP Platinum. It's the chocolate iin VIP and the praline in VIP Platinum is the most given response. So, great job Playboy! You've created a $9-$10 fragrance that women seem to adore. And, hey, I'll be honest: it may be gourmand sweet appley praline wood but I think it smells great as well. Just know it really blurs the line between gourmand men's fragrance and women's fragrance. Knowing it is indeed men's and having other females verify this helps but it's still very sweet. It's @$9 so it doesn't last for hours on end but it's cheap enough to just reapply. Projection and stillage are surprisingly good for $9. Please note: I 100% hope I didn't offend any women that read this. I've just gotten good feedback from about a dozen girls that smelled this and regular VIP. I'm basing my review on the feedback I've gotten. On another note, be careful of getting this on your clothes. I sprayed it on an old, bum-around-the-house shirt and it still smelled strong two days later and sickeningly sweet.

I find it very similar to Axe dark temptation which has been my favorite body wash for years. It’s super sweet and will definitely get you compliments. Seems to be getting hard to come by as it was a flanker and all they make now is the regular VIP (which is also a great scent) To me it smells like pure chocolate delight.. Scent 9/10 (love this one) Sillage 7/10 Projection 7/10 Longevity 7/10 (need a few booster sprays throughout the day) Overall 8/10 it’s a great juice. Get some now while you still can.

This smells absolutely delicious! This might be a little bit better than the original men's Playboy VIP which is very white chocolatey sweet. This has a slight fruity side to it which is great. I give this a 9.0/10

This is a >> Sweet Praline Bomb <<. All I smell is a pure White Chocolate Sweetness and nothing else. I find VIP Platinum lean far too Feminine on me. Yet I have no problem rocking Tom Ford Black & Velvet Orchid due to their "sweet BOOZY" character that leans kind of Masculine. I recommend TRY before you buy.

Lately financially desperate stand, again, I can not cheer yourself with some perfume, even if it was the cheapest designer perefume. Again, in that cheap perfumes, I look for footsteps of famous perfume nose, 'cause he a guarantee that perfume is not an exact copy, but it also has something of its own. No need to waste words on Fabrice Pellegrin. There is absolutely clear, because he's master of perfumes, and to say the least. Playboy VIP Platinum Edition, wandering between several perfume such as Gianfranco Ferre In The Mood For Love Man, Carolina Herrera VIP Men Club Edition, and several others. Is quite watery, in fact sweet watery, with plenty of pralines, and seemed like to be filled with vanilla, which is not so deep, with very strong cedar, and somewhere reminiscent of Etienne Aigner Black for Men, my favorite. Bergamot also has his own show, but it still will be fine slice with piece of green apple, and deep, very deep violet. Tonka been is sharp, and is attached to the ''wooden surface''. Sandalwood gives the line luxury and pleasant heat, with some pepper in background . Really never favouritism designer perfumes from the lowest class, he certainly is, but in this case, Mr.Fabrice Pellegrin, is made(copied) very solid perfume for little money, and for that deserves all. Well done for that. P.S. I forgot to say, aura is warm and sweet, and the projection is very high compared to the price list rank or class of perfume, and can be felt a 2-3 hours, even more, what's on my skin that swallows perfumes almost unreal!

so, im a BIG fan of the original VIP, and looking at the notes on the platinum version, looks like it would be my favorite!! And i just received it today in the mail and it’s PERFECT!! it smells almost EXACTLY like the original VIP, BUT..... there is this aquatic thing to it that really makes. the VIP .....idk, just better!! There’s something in this platinum version smells like a mix of VIP and play it wild by playboy. But play it wild has something about it thats too..... fake and fruity sorbet-ee. So when i say that platinum has some play it wild in it, it has the good parts of play it wild. Bottom line, its like a lighter, aquatic, slightly less warm, VIP! its a winner!! playboy frags are really damn good in my opinion. So far, VIP, platinum VIP, generation, are ones that i like alot. Hollywood was a little.... synthetic, london was good but something in it im not too fond of, play it wild is ok but too fruity synthetic. Theyre either really good, or just ok. Not ONE bad one yet though. The only thing i dont like about these scents are they last 5 mins on me. Realistically its probably lasting 25-30 mins, but i feel like for me it lasts only 5 mins. People around me probably smell it longer though

An awesome cheapy. Love it for what it is, a nice smelling value scent that can be enjoyed if you are able to get over the brand's name. This probably won't make it into a consistent rotation of mine but I can definitely see myself wearing this for arduous tasks where I'd like to smell nice but neglect to use my higher end frags. I don't get the Axe Dark Temptation vibe from this at all. I do detect similarities to Rochas Man on the dry down and that alone makes it a winner. Don't expect a great deal of performance (projection, sillage, etc.) from VIP Platinum. It will become a skin scent in less than an hour, but that doesn't keep this fragrance from being any less enjoyable. Anyone fortunate enough to invade your personal space will appreciate you!

I use the after shave lotion version that i bought for only 4 euros. Well, the scent it is classy and long lasting for after shave, but something gives a cheap vibe in it that I can't define. I also put 2-3 menthol crystals inside just to have the cool effect and everything is alright.

Okay so I accidentally bought this version instead of the normal playboy VIP at 7:30 I tried it out,and it lasted on my hand until it was 11:45,the smell was completely gone so that's about 4 hours of longevity which is good I think considering the price of it
