Reflet Rose

Reflet Rose is a syrupy, rosey-fruity scent that instantly reminds me of red cordial. It is dripping with floral elements, it’s hyper-sweet and totally TOTALLY insane with how delicious is smells, but for more the most alluring element is the manner in which the rest of the florals are blended in. One could argue that the violet elements are more striking and noticeable than the rose, but they have been blended into the scent in such an effortless manner that you’d think they were part of something else. The iris, too, is prevalent and works hard to vie with the rose and violet, and all three combine to make a fizzy-floral sweet accord that I really enjoyed and looked forward to wearing again. True, it’s mostly rose, but the rose without those other two floral elements would feel tame, limp and quite colourless. I really like this one, and I might just need to live in it for a while... ***EDIT*** So, this one is not going to work, unfortunately... I lived in it all day, and it is STUNNING in that it is wonderfully mixed, levelled and textured, but at this stage (two hundred something rose-violet scents), it smells like something I know, love and already own. Parts of the Sonama violet series (forgot the name), the rose scent by Chasing Scents and part of No. 18 by Chanel. I really like this one, I really REAAALLY do, it's just it reminds me too much of those three scents, plus a few more I just cannot pin, so it would be foolish of me to buy this. ...but I do love it and heartily recommend it. It's just not meant to be...
