Innocence

This scent is everything I hoped it would be. Photorealistic peaches and coconut cream fade over time into a beautiful creamy skin scent. This scent could work for any season in my opinion, but it is perfect for summer. It has a warmth to it that makes me think of a wood deck that has been heated by the sun. think this a safe choice even for those who don't like coconut, the coconut milk note just creates a cozy creaminess rather than a tropical or sunscreeny scent. Not a huge projector but still able to smell it on myself throughout the day.

Innocence is the soft fuzzy peach skin that you smell right before you take a bite of a juicy, ripe peach. There’s also a hint of creamy skin musk. It is a really beautiful, subtle, and feminine skin scent. I always use my fragrance primer from Future Society (“Optimal Habitat”) with this perfume because it improves the projection and staying power immensely. Even with the primer, this is not a fragrance that’s going to have strong projection, but it is a lovely and intimate skin scent.

I just got a sample of this and im super in love with it. A ripe juicy peach, coconut, i almost get chocolate or something sweeter from it too? It's also not straight sweetness, it has a darker base, almost like a fruit thats so sweet it's a bit sour. The darker the fruit the sweeter or whatever ethel cain said in unpunishable. Innocence is absolutely gorgeous! So warm, soft, cocooning and absolutely lovely. The peach in this is so soft and not too sweet. This is perfection! 💖

Sweet and simple scent. The coconut leans sunscreeny, which I don't mind. The musk comes through a fair bit, like a pretty standard skin scent. I wish the peach had been punched up juuuust a little bit more as it gets a little lost for me. It's nice I think it would be a great skin scent if it had better longevity.

this is quite nice! definitely on the more long lasting side for poesie perfumes which is good, but still nothing amazing longevity/sillage wise. peachy, creamy, and pretty simple so its good for an every day scent. been wearing it to work often!

Don't get any peaches. Tis baby powder and soapy. Nice though

First impressions but I’m really hoping this one blooms after about a month of resting. To me, it smells like an amalgamation of cheap fragrance oils. I do get something musky, perhaps peach... but it’s giving 90s peach baby product. It’s not as offensive on the dry down but it's still a dislike. Fingers crossed it gets better after resting for a month or so. I will update if macerating helps. EDIT: As with all other Poesie fragrances I'm trying, I will let this one rest a month or so and update if macerating helps. The reviews I've left seem harsh to me (especially because this is a small business and an indie house) so I want to express that my olfactory senses and what I pick up will not be the same as yours. Her custom sample set is worth trying and I'm glad I finally did so even if the fragrances don't work out for me! They might work for you and this could become your favorite indie house. This is just my personal experience and what I personally pick up from the fragrances I chose. I have my fingers crossed that macerating will help and I will update if it does.

unfortunately, all i get is a strongly artificial juicy sugary peach. was really hoping for more of a creamy dusty peach-fuzz scent, but instead it reminds me of a bag of gas station peach ring candy that got left in the car on a hot day. no other notes detectable, immediate scrubber.

First impressions: Sun, boardwalks, and easy days. Smells like ice cream to me- at first the batter, then later the scent of fresh cones that wafts. There's no soapiness, but I agree with the other reviewer about clean laundry. While the coconut fades into a relatively neutral creamy gourmand after a few minutes, there's still enough there to make me think I put on hawaiin tropic this morning. If sweet scents aren't your preference, like myself, this is not a safe blind-buy. Though, I do think it's a good versatile fragrance to add to your collection if you're into layering. Wear this to recall gentle memories and mix them up with daydreams. Probably smells even better with the sweat and salt of a long day of frolicking.

I let this sit for over a month before I made my final impressions. And I'm glad I did, my first application was a little disappointing, very one-note sweetness. Wasn't really getting much creamy-ness or musk. Now, I'm a big fan. It doesn't scream peaches it's more of a fuzzy/ warm/ sweet smell. Maybe a hint of coconut and fruit, but it all blends into more of a natural scent. When I was on a walk the wind blew and my friend said "oh wow it smells nice outside, there must be something blooming". I let her smell my wrist and it was this perfume! She felt like it smelled floral like honeysuckle and a little earthy, which I don't agree with but there you go

innocence was one of my first perfumes by poesie. overall i liked this perfume it's sweet, creamy, and even a bit tart, i was just expecting it to be softer and creamier and found the sweetness of the peach note a bit cloying when first applying. innocence i would say is a intimate scent, perfect for everyday wear.

peach fuzz with just a drop of coconut milk. very comfy. a bedtime scent for me.
