Library Ghost

This smells like I'm in a large dark library with antiques and I'm reading a centuries old first edition while eating marshmallows. Resin is sultry and cozy with the marshmallow. This would be banger in the cold months. Can't wait to wear this cocooned in blanket or sweater in front of the fire reading or watchinging a comfort movie. Maybe Norah Jones playing in the background. Never smelt anything like it. Hoping to upgrade to a bottle soon.

I love this perfume for any occasion - slightly sweet, but not cloying, with a hint of something deeper at first scent. I prefer it as an oil perfume and apply one drop to each wrist, then dab it on the back of my neck and my collarbone from my wrists. It will linger gently all day like that. It is a warmer smell, so if you had to use it seasonally I would say fall, but I use it year round.

As a librarian / library science student, this is one of the best book / library fragrances I’ve ever smelled. The marshmallow accord is STUNNING and something you would only get out of niche brands. I will 100% be getting a full bottle for my birthday. A song pairing I suggest for this fragrance: The Midnight Sun will Never Set by Benny Carter

I love this scent by Poesie! I have it in the perfume oil and water based spray! Its my everyday wear! On me it sticks pretty close to me which is great since I work in an office setting. I have a lot of their tea scents and happened across this one as a free sample. Been in love ever since!

This is pleasant and pretty but lacks both strength and interest. When I purchased the samples, I expected this to be a library-forward interpretation of Commodity’s “Milk” because of the marshmallows and woody accords. Unfortunately, the marshmallow note is quite faint and I struggle to detect wood accords. On the dry down, there’s a light powdery accordion I don’t love. I’d recommend sampling if you’ve tried the lightest version of Commodity’s Milk and still found it too intense. 5/10 for me tho REVIEW FOR VELVET MOON: This invites us to think about being in a castle’s library in the wee hours of the night. It’s dark and atmospheric. Compared to “Library Ghost,” I think this is more interesting. It may not be as mass appealing, or even an easy reach to “smell good,” but it’s more artistic. It’s experimental. You get the wood panel accords along with the old damask couch and melting beeswax candles. This smells like reading a murder mystery in the ancestral library during a thunderstorm at midnight!
