Marlowe

Marlowe smells like a steamy, humid luxury bathroom right after a shower or bubble bath. The scent of aromatic , herbal bath products is in the air. There might be actual lavender in the room, and you are applying more luxury herbal oils and creams now in the steam. (Might even have been a man's shower since it leans a bit masculine. ) This is a really calming scent. Very herbal, woody, natural ....and no sweetness. My husband said it smelled almost salty (this is what I read as "humid.") I usually love gourmands but this one, Even without sweetness is really soothing to wear. Reminds me of a spa or getting a massage.

Smells like a man in the best way. Clean and laid back but on my skin is very aromatic but still warm without that icy blast most aromatics give me which is why it’s almost cozy. I think it’s the teak wood and spice. Thought for a second I smelled eucalyptus. It reminds me of fresh hotel rooms and spas. On me I like it a lot to keep sniffing my wrist but if I smelled this on someone else I’d be glued to them entirely. Could be worn anytime and I genuinely would get a larger size of this. It might my my gateway into more masculine scents!!!

Really wonderful! I could have sworn that I was smelling lavender and sandalwood - I guess it's the coriander, not sure what that smells like on its own. It's a wonderful astringent/herbal/medicinal top note, and then there's depth from the dry wood, laid upon cushy musk and sandalwood. It's unisex leaning masculine. Something about it is quite sophisticated - makes me think of a man reading a newspaper in a beige trenchcoat.

agreed with spa vibes but there's something kind of sweet but musty in the base of many of Poesie's perfumes that I find quite prominent in this scent and ruins it for me
