Icon Gold

Tried it last week with hubby.he usually let's me choose him fragrances and buy them as gift for him in special occasions(we usually share similar tastes)and never insists on buying a Cologne for himself(Creed aventus and xerjoff mefisto were only exceptions)now police icon gold is the third exception! I never tried first police icon but I've heard it's sweet,fruity and juvenile,well if that's true Icon gold is a totally different story. Woody-spicy best describes it. It opens with spicy citrus notes,soon citruses fade while spices stay strong.I can detect lots of nutmeg,pepper(which more seems like black pepper to my nose not pink pepper)and cardamom.It may seem too spicy for some people but let it settle down.I also could say there's sandalwood in it before checking the notes.sandalwood becomes even stronger gradually.I usually dislike scents with dominant sandalwood.when it's strong it's rather overwhelmingly creamy or soapy.it's creamy hear but patchouli and spices give it edges.it remains as this great Woody-spicy scent for some good hours while there's just a touch of Musky lavender hidden beneath layers of patchouli,sandalwood and spices and it keeps everything clean and refreshing.after hours what is left on skin is an almost soapy musky lavender which is bytheway very pleasant thanks to warm,creamy texture of sandalwood It's a four season perfume but best suited for mild weather,spring and fall.it's good for both day and night wear and can be very versatile.it's not cheap-smelling by any means on the contrary I find it chic and expensive-smelling.it can be good for any age,though it's strong sandalwood and it's subtle cleanness make me assume it a modern fragrance best suited for 25-45 age group Longevity is very good as most of police fragrances.7 hours on my perfume-eater skin and passes 10 hours on hubby's skin.sillage is more than moderate.doesnt chock people but lefts a lovely scent trail I like it's attractive Woody-spicy phase which is strong and matches very well with an smart style of clothing.but I mostly love it's late drydown which is what is left on my man's skin at the end of the night.I can have sweetest dreams when I go to sleep smelling this gentle,clean scent.this phase(after about 4_5 hours on skin)is simply adorable soothing clean and creamy musky-sandalwood-lavender goodness and if I could find a perfume for myself with this scent I won't hesitate to buy it A lot of people may find it's bottle cheap but as a hardcore police fan as always I find it interesting and unique.yes it's made of cheap materials and it's cap(eagle's head)doesn't fit tightly,but it looks impressive in vanity looking from not so close Highly recommended ❤❤❤❤

Amazing scent! Very smooth, sexy, powerful, and fresh. Similar to the first Icon, but not as harsh as Icon Intense, and very sexual. It's young, yet manly and older. A very combination type cologne. Both young and older guys could pull this off, I'd say between 20+ - 30+ age group. It doesn't last as long as other Police colognes that I own, but it's definitely a powerful cologne that will pull heads. I'd give it an 8/10.

Fresh, clean and soapy. Is it boring and generic? Yes. Does it smell good? Yes. Good cheapie. Nothing more, nothing less.

I ordered this mainly because of the notes registered here. packing was flimsy. I didn't like the bottle a bit.. The design is beautiful no doubt but the plastic texture with golden color turning reddish near edges nearly had me put down the bottle without even testing... It's not powerful and has definitely soft sillage with longer longevity. Initial notes are off putting but the middle and base notes are welcoming. Overall, i liked it and would definitely use again.

This is the shiz if you can find it for 20-30 bucks Smells clean, fresh, everything a girl wants. None of this fancy ambroxany musky crap. Gets the Job done 5-6 hours Great for hot days
