This thing smells nice. The opening is very nice. I get about 7 hours of longevity. I have the original Police Icon too. I have to say that PI Platinum is way better than The original PI. So far there are no reviews on youtube maybe because it is 'Police'. This is going to be one of the underrated fragrance of all time. Beginners can try this and it is cheap too.

Dont bother looking at the note pyramid. This is generic youthfull bubblegummy, sweet, chemical, fruity stew. Perhaps it could be said there is a vague fresh aquatic aspect to it that gives it lift. It helps that it is somewhat ethereal, its not heavy. Admittedly I was not rushing to scrub it off, it smells ok but cheap and too youthful for me, being in my 30s. Develops well,A teenager might like it and the pricing is fair. Also, nothing can prepare one for the bottle presentation. Unlike the chrome reflective bottle in the marketing material, the silver paint is matt and looks like it has been poorly applied too. Like a high school student’s failed art project. The original EDP’s clear blue glass is finished much better.
