Police Passion

OOoooo this is a really lovely one~ super sexy too~ Completely agree with the other reviewers: this is sweet, scrumptious, fun and feminine. First spray 'Passion' has an uncanny resemblance to Britney Spear's 'Fantasy' but without the LOUD kiwi note. Instead it's more pleasant & seductive with blackcurrant, orange and apples. After that 'Passion' begins to diverge and become florals dipped in sweet caramel instead of a powdery-white chocolate like in 'Fantasy'. On my skin I definitely notice lotus and sunflower most. After a couple of hours it becomes lovely, delicious vanilla-cream and sandalwood. Ngl I love it. Even though this is not my favourite fragrance from Police, it suits my overall aesthetic and is youthful (not teeny) and SUPER SEXY so I'll be keeping it. I FAR prefer this over 'Fantasy' since it's got much better depth and elegance (as another reviewer put it) without sacrificing the gourmand characteristic. Verdict: Great blind buy if you love sweet gourmands that aren't synthetic. A definite crowd-pleaser and compliment-collector. 100% will drive men insane :)

A bit like caramel apple where the apple is quite tart and green. This is inspired by Fantasy Britney Spears with good approximation and ok performance after it ages. Opens with a burst of tart apple & citrus punctuated by cassis, and already you can feel the watery lotus coming through than lends a floral-watery slant to the fruits. That deepens into the floral heart underpinned by a caramel-vanilla, creamy sandalwood & tonka base with touches of cedar & musk. The overall effect is a creamy sweet gourmand topped with lush, tart fruits. This has moderate performance (after it ages for a bit) for year round wear, although I would be more likely to wear this in transitional seasons. Enjoy!

Fantasy-like fragrance that perfectly incapsulates the time period it came out (2010): sweet and sugary, sexy and flirty but clean, soft, fresh and juicy. Think of lipgloss, slightly chunky highlights, low rise jeans and blinged-out cell phones: this is such a good cheapie that feels nostalgic but not tired. You HAD to be there, this was what baddies smelt like in the mid to late 2000's. Longevity and projection is so good too, like??? I didn't expect it from an eau de toilette that costs like 10-14 euros for 100 ml. Take me back!!!! This needs a resurgence, with all the Y2K craze!

This one is a shameless copy of Fantasy by Britney Spears. It just projects a bit better, but i prefer the original, and considering the price, there is no reason to buy this instead of the original Fantasy. I would only buy it if i could not find Fantasy. If you can not find the fragrance from Britney Spears, or it is too expensive where you live, than this one is the perfect substitute. The notes here are very misleading, there is nothing citrusy or woody about it, it is just the sweetness. I am ok with that, because i really love the original fantasy and this one is, like i said, a perfect copy. For people who do not like the reformulated Fantasy, because of the citrusy opening: you ́re safe with this one.

Another scent that is hard to dislike... It just smells so delicious, so sweet... On me the vanilla & caramel are prominent, the fruits & flowers are definitely there, but I can't tell them apart. According to the piramid the woody notes should dominate this perfume, but I don't detect them... I never smelled BS Fantasy, so I can not compare it to that. I do own Elizabeth Arden "Provocative Interlude" though and it comes really close to Police Passion. I absolutely love them both, almost edible... Yummmmmmm... It lasted all day on me with a gentle sillage... I also love the bottle! It's very easy to handle and it's the cutest pink!

First it's like Private Show by Britney, I can smell the faint coffee too. The drydown is like Yohji Yamamoto pour femme, the original 2004 version. I can smell cardamom and a bit chamomile too, even they are not in the notes. The caramel/vanilla stays until the end, I think it's a very beautiful fragrance, I'm totally in love. I don't think it's masculine at all... It's soooo sweet and teenage girly. Much more better than Fantasy, more creamy and complex. All the woods I can smell is a tiny little sandalwood, but not manly at all.

Police Passion is a very feminine, soft and comfortable smell. I feel sweet, delicate flowers, but mainly a lot of caramel and a little vanilla. Unfortunately, there is no bargamot, which adds sharpness. The smell is typical for the day, best in autumn and winter time. You can wear it to office. For me, the smell is long lasting enough, but stays too close to the skin, it does not develop on me and it does not have a tail. Still, the smell is very pleasant.

I agree that it smells a bit like Fantasy the first few minutes but the drydown is different, it smells like Replay Essential for her (This one came 4 years earlier though) I love both of them so this was a nice blindbuy :)

I now have BS Fantasy and I can also now agree with everyone who says that this smells nearly identical to Fantasy. Different notes, identical smell, strange but true! :)

I don't know why I keep buying perfumes that smell like Britney Spears' Fantasy, that are within the same price range, instead of just buying Fantasy. I think I'm hoping to find Fantasy on steroids with the gourmand aspect front and center, rather than the fruity fresh kiwi(something similar to Fantasy Naughty Remix.) For me, Passion is a watery fresh version of Fantasy. It feels like Fantasy but diluted, with am added cucumber quality mixed with the fruitiness. I don't love it. But for someone who would like a more fresh take in Fantasy, I think they would enjoy this. I'm searching for an even more gourmand version of Fantasy though, so I won't repurchase this. I would rather just have regular Fantasy if I'm going to pay within the same price range. I think Passion smells more like Circus Fantasy. The sillage for this is fairly strong. It definitely smells better wafting through the air, rather than when I sniff it directly from my arm. The longevity is okay too, basically about the same in performance as Fantasy.

Although I like this fragrance I don’t find it juvenile.I do find it lacks depth, and I constantly find myself sniffing my arm, because it becomes non-existent pretty quickly. It’s a good cheapie for layering, I wouldn’t spend too much of this, because my skin seems to eat it all up, and doesn’t last. (Body mist vibes- but worse for me). I’m not sure that I will buy this again as it doesn’t last on me and there’s no siliage, I’m sure I can spend a bit more and get something that lasts and projects. But I am thinking of try another fragrance from the line out of curiosity.

One of the worse perfumes I've ever purchased for silage and longevity, as are almost all police perfumes. Such a shame as its also a beautiful complex smell that seems way more expensive than it is, I could wear it all the time as a staple if it actually stayed on at all. It won't even stay on fabric! To add to other reviews and others in the hunt for a 2005 Fantasy replica, yes it does smell a bit like Fantasy but neither yourself nor anyone else will even notice you're wearing any perfume after 2 minutes of spraying

I don't know if some of the perfumes I've tried have gone bad or something, because this for example smelled just bad. Like a car or a men's cologne? I expected juicy fruit and soft vanilla and caramel, but got nothing like it

That was a blind buy (which doesn't happens often to me), after only reading the reviews. I wanted to have in my collection a very sweet, sugary but not overhelming scent. After reading someopinions that it was very similar to Fantasy, I didn't hesitate any longer. That was a good choice, I was really delighted after having opened my bottle. It has that sugary sweetness of Fantasy without a sour undertone which I dont't like in Britney's perfume. In my opinion, it is also suitable, despite its sweetness, not only for young girls but also for grown up women who like gourmands. I would say it is perhaps not a classy fragrance because of its very sugary character (and I believe it was designed rather to be playful and energetic than classy). However, I find that Passion has definitely a stylish vibe to it as the natural gourmand smell of a french patisserie seduces here instead of a chemical note present in many other very sweet, sugary scents. In addition, Passion is very verable - I can easily put it on me early morning without feeling sic. And my little baby boy also reacts enthousiastically whenever I wear it which is another positive aspect conecected with this fragrance. The only little thing which I don't appreciate is the big brand name on the bottle (the bottle without this would be ok for me) which I personally simply don't like as it always disturbs my esthetic feelings. On the whole, lovely fragrance, one of my favourits at the moment.

Tonight it's my after shower scent. I can't detect any woody notes nor caramel. It's sweet but it's more chocolaty sweetness than caramel. It's not complicated even though it contains so many ingredients which is surprising. On me it smells like scented candle wax. I have this with many celebrity and drugstore perfumes recently - they smell just cheap and weird on me. I "borrowed" wrist of my bf and on his skin it gets beautiful caramel-flowery sweetness. I just needed proof that only on me it develops in funny way, and it's true. It doesn't work with my body chemistry, maybe it smells even nice but i can't wear something that i consider not pleasant for myself. Not being original i have to say it's just a copy of B.Spears, maybe a bit more wearable.

I majorly smell Caramel Vanilla and Woody notes in this one. I'd recommend this to ladies who really enjoy sweet and MANly perfume at the same time. Because the woody notes in this one are very prominent but it's also sweet&sexy because of the caramel in it. This used to be the only perfume I wore all the time in High School Senior Years. But now since I know more about perfumes I'd recommend it as a date night perfume. I wouldn't recommend it for a night out because the sillage and longevity is average on me. But it's a really nice and sexy scent.

I agree it has some similarity to JOOP Thrill but that one was a big love for me and I dont feel the same uniqueness in this one. Its dull sweetness is pleasant and comfy but the name passion definitely does not match. What I would highlight is the caramel... you know when you prepare it at home and you shimmer the sugar and slightly burn it before adding the cream it gets a little sour, I can feel it here which makes the caramel note quite realistic.

Sweet, fruity, fun & girly. That's how I would describe this scent. It smells really 'pink'. I mostly get caramel, apple and vanilla. Also citrus notes are prominent. In the background, there are some fresh florals. This is really nice for spring and summer. It smells indeed a lot like Fantasy, from Britney Spears, but Fantasy has white chocolate, and Passion has not. Sillage is soft, longevity is moderate.

I love it! One of the very first perfumes I bought. It definitely resembles Britney Spear’s Fantasy yet more elegant. The old Fantasy used to smell A LOT sweeter than it does now but Passion has always smelled the same. This is definitely not a copy of Fantasy, Fantasy is the copy and I’d still say there’s a difference. Fantasy is more on the childish side.

Yep, it's very much like Britney's Fantasy. Actually, it starts out with TART red berries (to my nose- must be citrus) and then smells more like Snooki (Yes, I have Snooki!) than Fantasy. Doesn't really last.... but I blind bought really cheap, and I wanted to try this forever. It's nice, girlie, fruity sweet, but nothing special.

There isn't a lot to say about this fragrance, I completely agree with NG, it's BS Fantasy. I did a wrist to wrist comparison and the opening and middle are identical, the drydown is almost identical. I think PP holds on to it's fruity notes a bit more. Both are nice perfumes so I like this, it's just not anything new.

For a really inexpensive edt, it smells pretty nice. Sweet, lots of fruits and flowers and warm undertones. A kind of tropical vibe despite a lack of tropical notes. A fun frag for a sunny mood.

A generic fruity floral fragrance...It's fresh, agreeable and very suitable for those hot summer days when your nose can't stand heavy fumes. Staying power is good too.

Yes, this sure smells like Spears Fantasy! Even the color of the bottles are the same. :-) Girly, soft, fresh. Man pleaser.
