To Be Goodvibes For Her

Hmm no wonder I see Valentino Born in Roma Intense in the dupes. I bought Pink Obsessed of BBW earlier today and it reminded me of La belle while it mainly has the Born in Roma syrupy sweet cashmere vanilla bourbon DNA and since To be Good Vibes is a pretty good lighter dupe to La Belle, you see how Born in Roma deep down could be related to La Belle. I sense that syrupy floral balsamic sweet element of Born in Roma/Intense in La Belle, adding the pear and the leather it makes it "dirtier" and sexy. Good Vibes vs La Belle. Good Vibes has a happier, brighter opening than La Belle, more citrusy with the grapefruit/mandarin, and slightly cold and dark spicy with the black pepper. It has a syrupy salty pear too like La Belle, but to my nose it is more toned down in Good Vibes with the peony adding a more girly touch to the scent and establishing that Born in Roma syrupy girly ambery-vanilla sweet connection. Good Vibes is more powdery than La Belle due to the heliotrope that Police adds everywhere *eye roll* and always being powdery. I don't mind it here (I hated it in Tattoo Art it smelled dusty, yuck). The patchouli- amber give the scent that similar dirty feel of La Belle, without the intense smokiness of the latter due to the absence of vetiver. So if you hate vetiver, Good Vibes is a good alternative, but Good Vibes to me is more green, fresh and spicy compared to La Belle due to the patchouli. The Ambrarome is an ambergris note, gracing Good Vibes with its warm and leathery smell with a hint of tobacco, so from that we have the leather feel of La Belle in Good Vibes too, only toned down a bit, and a much more subtle smokey "tobacco-like" touch, enough to make this sexy too. Good Vibe's leathery scent is more delicate, smoother and accompanied by less sugar, brightened by the jolly intense citrusy element throughout (not just its opening). Overall, it's a good impression of La Belle, less sweet than La Belle imo. The heliotrope at the dry down along with the patchouli kinda bother me, I don't have that issue with La Belle, but I do like the citrusy side of Good Vibes, it really is all about good vibes and I like the bright pink peony in it, it makes a difference. After 2 hrs on my skin it becomes sweeter and softer. To be honest I prefer La Belle, but I appreciate Police's impression too. Pink Obsessed: Born in Roma + lighter La Belle, softer than Good Vibes. Born in Roma Intense may be similar to Police To be Good vibes due to their floral balsamic, syrupy, ambery essence. So my nose did not trick me that I see some of the Pink Obsessed' (Born in Roma's lighter smokier dupe) syrupy sweet character in La Belle's sugary sweet element too, a lot softer. Wearing both Pink Obsessed and Police to Be Good Vibes now I see some similarities there too. Pink Obsessed with its Born in Roma vein, is much lighter than the powdery, citrusy, peppery Good Vibes. In Pink Obsessed the praline's sweetness and leathery touch of the cashmere, along with a fizzy, salty/pear-like accord (mainly in its opening) are quite similar to the dry down of Good Vibes. Pink Obsessed is not citrusy, just slightly salty and it's more floral, pink and girly and a lot less smokey & leathery than Good Vibes, but enough to slightly differentiate Pink Obsessed from Born in Roma. Pink Obsessed & La Belle. I bought BBW Pink Obsessed which many say is like Born in Roma due to the vanilla bourbon-cashmere - jasmine overload. To me Pink Obsessed, while it has the Born in Roma cashmere-deep and balsamic syrupy-sweet floral vein like that of a celebrity scent, it also smells on my skin like La Belle too, a much lighter, more girly version of it. Pink Obsessed is romantic, while La Belle wears leather bustier tops and swears like a sailor (like me). Pink Obsessed on me is very salty savory at first, and progressively smoother and more syrupy sweet like Born in Roma, but with a subtle smokiness from the vanilla bourbon - cashmere, and a leathery feel from the cashmere-praline apparently (and I swear there must be unripe pear in Pink Obsessed). There is a contrasting deep soft sweetness from the praline at the base, similar to the vanilla-amber offering of La Belle. The praline keeps Pink Obsessed more pink and girly. Pink Obsessed has no vetiver so the smokey effect is toned down, but still present on my skin and I do like it here (did not like it in BBW's Wild Sand). No smokiness in Born in Roma, which to me is a generic very syrupy celebrity-like scent, no wonder one of Britney's Fantasy flankers is a dupe. Pink Obsessed is more dimensional than Born in Roma combining contrasting elements and it is suitable to those who prefer lighter scents and dislike the overly sweet Born In Roma or can't stand the intensity and leather-vetiver of La Belle.

When first sprayed, To Be Good Vibes opens with a fizzy, boozy and sweet pear and orange.kind of like a cocktail made with pear liquor or something and I don't know how I feel about this stage(I don't dislike it but I don't like it either). I usually hate aquatic perfumes so I was a bit concerned but there was no need to worry.I don't find it aquatic,but I find it really boozy,fruity and slightly spicy in the first few minutes. as it dries down,the citrusy undertone and boozyness calm down and it smells like a blend of powdery vanilla and syrupy pear. very pleasant, yummy and addictive. except the first few minutes, I love this perfume all through it's life. To be honest I can't pickup any other notes individually other than vanilla,pear,orange and a touch of powder. it projects strongly for a good time(I was really surprised to see how potent it is). longevity is around 4 hours on my skin which isn't bad considering it's price(I bought a 125 mil bottle for 25 USD). I like collecting this skull bottles but this isn't my favorite bottle among them. I wish this juice was inside the bottle of To Be Tattoo Art BTW I haven't tried JPG La Belle yet so I can't compare these two perfumes. but I used to have JPG Ma Dame and I don't find it similar to Police Good Vibes even a bit (Ma Dame smells like orange and red fruity erasers I used to have as a kid) Edit: The more I use Good Vibes the more I like it. eventhough it's sweet,it has some citrusy-fruity freshness and the vanilla-pear thing in it's drydown smells so good. my favorite pear-vanilla favorite used to be Katy Perry Meow but now Good Vibes is also my other favorite pear-vanilla treat(eventhough they share these two dominant notes, they don't smell similar at all) usually when Police tries to copy a perfume, I prefer the Police version to the original perfume. I really wish Police would try to copy Love Don't be Shy By Kilian(not Oriana but the LDBS itself) گود وایبز با یه رایحه شیرین بوزی/الکلی-میوه ای شروع میشه،یچیزی شبیه کوکتیلی که با لیکور گلابی درست شده باشه.تو این مرحله گلابی و پرتقال غالبن و راستش از این چند دقیقه ابتدایی نه خوشم میاد نه خیلی بدم میاد. من معمولا از عطرهای آکواتیک بدم میاد و چون جزو آکوردهای اول این عطر، اشاره به آکواتیک بودن شده نگران بودم اما نگرانیم بی مورد بود.بنظر من آکواتیک نیست اما تو چند دقیقه اولش بوزی و یکم اسپایسی هست. بعد از ده دقیقه هم ته بوی مرکباتی و هم حس و حال الکلی عطر از بین میره و تبدیل به یه رایحه خوشمزه و دوست داشتنی میشه که توش درکنار گلابی شیرین و سیروپی، وانیل و یکم پودر هم حس میکنم. بجز اون چند دقیقه اول، این عطر رو خیلی دوسش دارم پخشش بالاست و واقعا جا خوردم وقتی دیدم چه عطر جون داریه.خیلی بعیده این عطر رو بزنید بعد از کنار کسی رد شید و متوجهش نشه. موندگاریش رو پوست من حدود چهارساعته که نسبت به قیمتش بد نیست(ضمنا درکل واسه من پخش بو خیلی مهمتر از موندگاریه).رنگ شیشه هم روشنتر از عکس فرگرنتیکاست و بنفش نیست.صورتی جیغه.ضمنا من ژان پل گوتیه له بله رو تست نکردم درنتیجه نمیتونم باهم مقایسشون کنم. فقط میتونم بگم اگه عطرهای شیرین و مدرن دوس دارید این ارزش خرید داره ویرایش: نظرم رو از لایک به لاو تغییر دادم. ترکیب وانیل و گلابی تو درای داونش عالیه.خیلی خوشمزست نمیدونم دو، سه هفته بهش زمان دادم جاافتاده رایحش یا چی اما حس میکنم بهتر از زمانیکه خریدمش شده

Watery Pear followed by PILLOW-Y CINNAMON BUNS. This is a dupe of La Belle Jean Paul Gaultier with a twist. An opening burst of fruity and aquatic touches transitions quickly to a sweet amber heart that deepens onto a amber cinnamon/spicy base. Performance is well above average for year-round wear. Contrast to La Belle Jean Paul Gaultier: Tp Be Goodvibes is inspired by La Belle although not an exact dupe, and La Belle is more pear forward while To Be Goodvibes has spicy citrus with pear. Both have above average performance, but LB outperforms. Overall: affordable dupe of La Belle JPG with a twist, and well above average performance for year-round wear. It's a love for me! Update 07/10/24: Really enjoyed wearing this yesterday. The cinnamon bun (ambrarome) base is quite pillow-y still, almost marshmallow-y, but it smells like cinnamon, a fluffy tonka & amber to me. Still a love.

This was a nice surprise. Someone was selling it brand new for peanuts on ebay and reading the reviews I thought, why not? I'm glad I did. It is a sweet perfume and very much like a lot of them these days. It reminds me of something pleasant I can't put my finger on, yet. It has a lasting power though. Not a massive fan of the bottle but I don't wear it round my neck, do I? Heck, all my smellies are in my wardrobe, away from direct light anyway so it doesn't really matter how they look. To my nose it smells girly sweet at first then it develops to a more mature /heavy sweet scent. I don't really understand the perfume segregation due to the age of the wearer. If the smell is pleasant to my nostrils, why would I not wear it? Because the society thinks I'm too old for it? Naaaa, I don't really care, I'm 46, love it and it's a keeper! 😄

I've been looking high and low for a more affordable alternative of la belle ... I already have 4 perfumes by Police and love them and was so excited to see the (reminds me of la belle) on this site!! The opening of To be good vibes is strong and fruity but the dry down is like la belle after the vetiver dies down ... sweet syrupy pear and vanilla!! Exactly what I have been searching for. This house makes amazing quality perfumes in 4.2 oz. bottles and so affordable! 10/10

I bought this purely because it was on offer at savers and I liked the pink bottle . When I tested it I immediately thought of Jean Paul Gaultier Ma Dame I used to love this perfume but sadly it’s discontinued. It’s not exactly the same notes but definitely on skin smells very very close and it lasted all day when I wore it to work. I’m very impressed

This spiced-pear and vanilla scent in a psychedelic pink skull bottle (brighter & lighter than pictured) brings to mind a lava lamp with a bolus of caramel flowing through sparkling pear water. I picture a girl with go-go boots and pigtails wearing this, or maybe one of the Partridge family on the first day of Christmas.

Absolutely in love with this baby! One of the most inexpensive perfumes in my collection yet easily one of the best. It's sweet and yummy but not in a cloying overwhelming way. It lasts quite a bit and the dry-down is gorge too. So, yeah, it's a major and unexpected love for me.

This quickly became one of my favorite fragrances, I am so surprised by people who say this is not long lasting. This is a nuclear pear and vanilla that is grounded by the aquatic note to prevent it from being sickeningly sweet. A staple in my collection...

What a totally underrated little gem! It’s really sweet but fruity and fresh, with vanilla and pear being most prominent. I do see the resemblance to La Belle, but it’s not a dupe, more like a lighter aquatic version. Moderate performance, great value.

As an old fan of La Belle I must say these two scents are both similar and distinctive. More similar in the drydown, very different in the opening. Obviously they are both based on vanilla so they become closer to each other with time. The opening of Goodvibes - as others said - is more citrusy. It almost gives me a similar vibe to lemon tart you get with D&G Devotion. After 20-30 minutes they become quite similar but not entirely. Goodvibes is more powdery/sugary and somehow more juvenile, especially in the beginning. I'd consider La Belle a more elegant and brighter scent, with better performance. Still, Goodvibes is a very pleasant fragrance, with excellent price/quality ratio. Perfect for the slightly younger crowd, who love La Belle DNA but would like to save some money. Nobody mentioned it yet, but in the base, Goodvibes is very similar to Burberry Goddess as well. Exactly where La Belle differs from Goddess because of the brightness of the scent, Goodvibes becomes almost exact copy due to its powdery nuance. After a month of testing, I'm more and more convinced it is a very playful, childish scent - very good for its audience but definitely lacking the elegance that La Belle brings to the table.

Notice to new buyers - when I did the first spray this was very chemical and harsh and had this issue for a few months when I bought it in spring. Now the harsh part is gone and this opens with a fresh citrus vanilla, the citrus quickly settles and moves somewhere in the background, grapefruit goes first but the orange lingers for some time. The main hero is the vanilla, it does not smell artificial but it also does not have depth, the best way to describe it is that it is a refreshing vanilla cocktail, not cloying, maybe mixed with coconut water - light and refreshing. Great for summer! I don't catch the other notes, no pepper at all, just the juiciness of the pear and a bit of powder. Will see how it will develop going forward, will update in case it changes. To me this seems very juvenile but not in a bad way, more like it is light and carefree without the worries of adults, I feel like a kid wearing it which is nice as everyone should feel like that from time to time - carefree and childish. Fragrance wise this is like Versache Eros and Rochas Byzanche had a baby and it only eats oranges... strange but it is what it is. Sadly does not seem to last or project well.

This is a NEON pink bottle irl and very eye catching and cute. Therefore reminding me of that brief neon-everything phase in ~2006. It's a lovely fresh, fun scent, without being a standard freshie or a sweet fruity blast. It could totally be a summer signature scent for anyone of any age. Good for the beach, city, at home, anything! So it's very versatile too. I'm not a fan of pepper, but it isn't a dominant note here- just adding a light kick :) I mostly get the citrus, water, sweet vanilla and delicate florals.

This is not as jammy and sweet as La Belle but it’s a 90% dupe! This definitely has the pear, vanilla and a tiny bit of spice. After testing it out for some time now, I honestly prefer the og. I prefer the longevity and projection La Belle gives plus I adore how jammy the pear is. La Belle is more complex imo but I feel like it’s a close enough dupe if you’re looking for something close. If you have La Belle you can detect the differences but if you don’t, you’d probably wouldn’t notice honestly.

The combination of aquatic notes and fruits makes me think of it like a watermelon fruitchouli. It lasts all day on the skin. While this and La Belle share similarities, it's not a dupe. More like a lighter/younger version of it. This one is brighter and easier to wear. The patchouli base gets much more noticeable over time. This wants to be used in colder weather. The bottle is NEON PINK and not the purple aubergine/berry colour some images suggest. Will not re-buy.

So good, on initial spray I don’t see resemblance to Kayali Rock candy sugar, but when settles it becomes similar, but not identical. I use them both, Police as my generous first layer, and Kayali as a main fragrance on pulse points. Smells delicious and they compliment each other. It’s totally wearable on its own, with reasonable performance, again - value for money is great. Will likely shine in sprind/summer

Blind bought it just for fun and it is fun! Ignore first minutes - the opening is a bit chemical indeed, but then it smells like a neon pear candy! Same direction as La belle, but still different. I think it will work all year round but wouldn't wear it in hot weather.

Hezká, poněkud generická ovocná sladká vůně. Hruška, trocha citrusů, vanilka, lehce pačuli. Cítím i pepř a nějaké kytky. Nosím ji když vim, že nikam moc "mezi lidi" nejdu. Do práce nebo do společnosti mi přijde taková moc "levně vonící".

This is your typical sweet fragrance, nonetheless, it is well done and very pleasant. Longevity and sillage are good. If you ́re looking for an uncomplicate and easy-to-like scent, it is worth a try. Final note: 7/10

I enjoy this one way more than I thought I would. Fruity, happy, light and it lasts well. IMHO doesn't smell like La Belle, but it is a cool scent as it is.

Yes, i can feel litlle similarity with Madame by JPG,but Police is much more sugary.It is only in the top and middle notes.Call me crazy but after some time and in the drydown there is Organza indecence vibe for my nose.I compared them hand to hand and yes-but only in the drydown, after 30 minutes or an hour.It is kinda warm cinnamon-ambery on me and it is not for hot weather.The bottle is not of my favourites

This made me feel nauseous and something about the powder combined with the citrus and especially the sweetness just really did not work for me, although I acknowledge that combo might be different for others. Sillage and longevity were moderate.

To me this was the most disappointing Police scent after Passion, and I love almost everything I have from them. It's just too generic and mildly sweet, to my nose it feels like sweet watermelon with some 'florals' thrown in. I've never had La Belle but remember sniffing it at the store, and that it felt very strong and creamy, it had its own distinct scent and personality. This one does not, it doesn't even come close to other similar scents listed here like Fantasy, nothing in common. But whatever, let's see how it goes, maybe it will grow on me.

I agree wholeheartedly with 876Beauty’s review. I’m obsessed with this cheapy! If you can’t find any bottles, it’s because I’ve purchased them all. I hate JPG Le Belle. It becomes a sweet, cloying vetiver mess on me. However, this is what is good about Le Belle without the stank vetiver. This is fresher and airier. I like to mix it with Born in Roma Intense and it draws many compliments. This is a love for me and I’ve purchased 6 backups.

This smells really nice! Very happy with the purchase! Sweet and vanilla-heavy, really safe blind-buy. I haven't smelled La Belle, but if it's similar to this I can see why it's popular. Excited to wear this as the weather cools down

I have a few of these skulls, this one is on the underwhelming side(camouflage is my fave). It turns into a skin scent very quickly. The juicy pear doesnt last as long as I’d like. The aquatic part is very very brief.

It smells very fizzy.. it’s like an ice cold Mimosa with some grapefruit. It’s a summer night at a cocktail bar. It’s yummy.
