To Be Rose Blossom

Police To Be Rose Blossom always reminded me of Heat Wild Orchid a bit as far as their common deep floral amber sweetness, but without the intense almond-like powdery heliotrope and the caramel-y woody licorice effect, and I disagree that it's similar to Hypnotic Poison. It does not remind me of Hypnotic Poison because the heliotrope licorice here don't create an actual almond effect and HP is much lighter milky, very play-doh nutty-almondy without darkness and without the syrupy caramel-licorice or the amber-y resinous element that we find in Police To Be Rose Blossom which might repel some folks with how deep, ambery and powdery it is almost plastic. This is almost smoky at first from the licorice amber pairing, but it quickly gets smoother but remains dark. The coconut- deep orchid, magnolia and amber-y woody base of Heat Wild orchid create the same deep floral but syrupy powdery effect of Rose To be Blossom but they are not actual dupes, they just share some elements. Also BBW Cozy Vanilla Bourbon the 2024 version reminds me of this slightly because of the dark fruits and ambery balsamic vanilla bourbon of it with some smoky and plastic effect, but it's much deeper remaining smoky, and more vanilla-centered than To be Rose Blossom. Another woody amber-y scent that has a plastic undertone is Rue 21 Wander In The Woods, which lacks the powdery almondy heliotrope, but they open in a similar way. I found a closer dupe of To Be Rose Blossom today when I tried DUA's Tri-Neighborhood which has some of that BR540 moss vibe at the later drydown. It's a soft floral scent with an amber-y sweet smooth base which is not like BR540 much, but more like Police to Be Rose Blossom even tho it has that BR540 smooth ambery woody cedar-moss, but the added hazelnut-cacao and caramel cause it to deviate from the BR540 vein. It is a heliotrope-like, almost almond-y velvety deep scent, powdery and resinous just like Police to Be Rose blossom. They are identical, but Tri-Neighborhood is more mild as in not as plastic as the intense powdery plastic heliotrope-licorice blend of To be Rose Blossom, and its cedar-amber is more peppery-fresh at the later drydown from the ambroxan. The opening is bright from the jasmine sambac, a common note with to be Rose blossom. There is a smooth resinous woody amber-y sweet undertone kinda like BR540, prominent right away in the opening of Tri-Neighborhood, but which quickly morphs into that heliotrope softer licorice type of scent, identical to Police To Be Rose Blossom, not as dark though, and which becomes the vein of the scent. The hazelnut cacao- amber-caramel and the smooth moss blend are giving that smooth amber-y powdery almond-y-plastic heliotrope and licorice impression of To be Rose Blossom, but not straight up almond just like in To Be Rose Blossom. Heliotrope smells velvety powdery but also slightly almond-y as a note, but without the actual nutty almond effect so it's a deeper note sometimes dusty in certain perfumes but not in To be Rose Blossom. I think the moss and hazelnut-cacao specifically create the smooth deep powdery heliotrope almond-y impression in Tri neighborhood while the amber provides the resinous effect in both perfumes. The jasmine sambac keeps them bright and uplifting throughout. The caramel adds a licorice type of deep sweetness like the licorice of To be Rose Blossom, since licorice is a syrupy caramel-y note with woody facets, but in Tri-Neighborhood the caramel doesn't give a smoky effect which is good as I despise a smoky dirty amber-caramel - see DUA caramel apple on a stick similar to BBW viva vanilla. The first time I sprayed Tri-neighborhood, I got some caramel smoky nuance but it faded. At the later drydown of Tri-Neighborhood I smell the resinous BR540 moss with some peppery ambroxan-cedar, but the cacao still remains for that To Be Rose Blossom heliotrope impression. The cedar common note in both Tri neighborhood and To Be Rose Blossom supports the intense woody aspect of both which pairs well with the amber reinforcing that deep powdery plastic-almondy scent so similar with To Be Rose Blossom. Tri-Neighborhood leans feminine but could be unisex too since the drydown has some BR540 resinous cedar-amber-moss freshness and since it lacks the vanilla and pear mandarin fruity feel of the To Be Rose Blossom. So overall it's like a lighter less fruity more unisex and more aromatic dupe of Police to be Rose Blossom with the amber-cedar-moss of BR540. DUA was trying to recreate TriBeCa Bond No 9 but perhaps added more of the cacao-caramel and reduced the sour ambroxan so it's giving To Be Rose Blossom more than BR540.

OMG. this is so good. a reasonably priced gem.a perfume I would keep repurchasing if I wasn't a perfume junkie. I always talk about how great Police Forbidden is and that it can compete with more expensive fragrances out there. well, this awkward shimmery blue skull deserves to be more popular too. As it's usual for Police perfumes, this one also reminds me of some other popular, more expensive perfumes. it's first phase reminds me of Dior Hypnotic Poison EDP more than anything else(I used to think it's like a combination of Diesel Loverdose and Lolita Lempicka but nah.now I think Hypnotic poison EDP(not the famous, older EDT one) is closer).the second phase of it reminds me of Alien Essence Absolue but with a less stronger jasmine. like other Police Perfumes eventhough it has resemblance to others, it's not an exact dupe. I can pickup licorice here, very similar to the licorice note in Hypnotic Poison EDP. heliotrope plays exactly like an almond note. vanilla doesn't feel too sweet or bland as there are many facets here (powdery, spicy, woodsy, smokey and creamy) to keep it interesting. it does smell playdohish sometimes but not as much as it does in Hypnotic EDT.in this stage, I can feel there's a creamy white floral heart somewhere in there but it's as if they're there just to add feminity and a hint of brightness to the otherwise darkish, slightly masculine woodsy, almondy vanilla. I'm not a fan of patchouli but here the combination of patchouli and amber creates something resembling a chocolatey tonka. As it dries down,it's less like HP EDP and more like Alien Essence Absolue. there's less licorice in this stage and finally jasmine finds a chance to bloom. it's a jasmine rounded by almondy, ambery, powdey vanilla and a cedar(a woody note I don't like) which feels more like cashmere wood (a woody note I do like). I find it strange that this perfume come in this skull shape bottle.it's scent kind of belongs to the handcuff family. it's like a relative to Police Forbidden and Police Sinner(TBH I prefer skull bottles to handcuff ones, so there's no complaints here). the two perfumes Police To Be Rose Blossom resembles(HP EDP and Alien Essence Absolue) are not for everyone so Police TBRB is not a safe blindbuy IMHO but if you like it, consider yourself lucky because it doesn't smell like it's price tag at all. I have and love both mentioned perfumes so no wonder I love TBRB. the only con is that this one lacks the strength and punch of it's muses. I won't call it weak as longevity and sillage are both moderate but it's nowhere near powerhouses that I mentioned as it's similars. maybe not a bad thing because it makes it easier to wear and more versatile. To say it for one last time. this is sooo good!! این عطر خیلییی خوبه. نگاه به شیشه براق و اکلیلی طوره آبی رنگ و اسکلتیش نکنید. رایحه این عطر اصلا ارزون و چیپ نیست. تو شروع، واسم یادآور دیور هیپنوتیک پویزن ادوپرفیومه(تأکید میکنم: ادوپرفیوم. نه ادوتویلت که معروفتره). نت شیرین بیانش کاملا شبیه شیرین بیان هیپنوتیکه. هلیوتروپ اینجا کاملا شبیه بادومه. وانیلش زیادی شیرین و یکنواخت نیست چون کلی جنبه های باحال پودری، چوبی، اسپایسی، خامه ای و حتی دودی داره. تو فاز اول رایحه، میشه حس کرد یه جایی وایت فلورال داره اما زیاد محسوس نیستن. انگار فقط اونجان که زنانگی و یکم روشنی به رایحه ای بدن که درغیراینصورت تیره تر و مسکولین تر بود. من از پچولی خوشم نمیاد اما اینجا ترکیب پچولی و امبر یه رایحه تونکایی-شکلاتی طور خیلی خوب ایجاد کرده تو فاز دوم رایحه شیرین بیان کمرنگتر میشه و بالاخره سروکله یاس پیدا میشه. یاس احاطه شده با امبر و وانیل پودری و چوب سدری که بیشتر شبیه چوب کشمیره. تو این فاز واسم یادآور الین اسنس ابسولو هست هم هیپنوتیک ادوپرفیوم هم الین اسنس ابسولو عطرهای خاص پسندی هستن درنتیجه پلیس تو بی رز بلاسم هم خرید بدون تستش میتونه ریسکی باشه اما اگه از بوش خوشتون بیاد برد کردید چون خیلی بیشتر از قیمتش میرزه و رایحه واقعا جذابی داره. البته به هیچوجه اون شدت و قدرت دوتا عطری که اسم بردم رو نداره و به مراتب ملایمتره. بااینحال عطر ضعیفی هم نیست و از نظر قدرت، متوسط و قابل قبوله و همین که اونقدرا بمب-طور نیست باعث شده پرکاربردتر بشه عاقا خلاصه اینکه این عطر خیلییی خوبه. من همیشه از خوب بودن پلیس فوربیدن تعریف میکردم و حس میکنم درحق این اجحاف کردم. توصیه میکنم حتما امتحانش کنید. اون گل مشکی تورتوری مسخره ای که رو کلش هست هم راحت جدا میشه

Finally I received this little gem thanks to my dearest friend Lalehrokh.atr who sells it very reasonably priced First about the bottle.I know it's kitchsi but I like it.and I specially like it's color.but I don't like the black flower on top of it. Fortunately it was so loosely sticken that I could easily separate it About the scent It's sooo sexy also cute and doll-like,memorable,a gourmand for adults.a smokey,woody,powdery,spicy,nutty vanilla to die for.I can detect tones of licorice,anise and vanilla,woods,heliotrope.a creamy darkish scent,very addictive and unique I have to change my idea about it being similar to police forbidden.police forbidden is another gem of this brand but not that similar to police rose blossom ..there is a little hypnotic poison vibe here but it's more like hypnotic poison edp not the original edt As mentioned by fellow fragranticans it also reminds me diesel loverdose(the edp version)but a loverdose with more oomph,more complexity and darker..it's a combination of licorice and vanilla just as loverdose but there's also dryness of woods and powder here So if I want to liken it to other perfumes I'd say: Hypnotic Poison EDP + Diesel Loverdose + Lolita Lempicka patchouli and cedar blended with powdery musky vanilla and heliotrope resembles a nutty chocolatey aura.police rose blossom is delicious but in a dark,sexy and mysterious way,no too sweet or childish at all You need to love licorice so that you can love this one because it's the most dominant note to my nose so I think it's not a safe blindbuy unless you love licorice,vanilla and powder If you like Loverdose but you find it linear,bland or too sweet make sure to give this one a try Police To Be Rose Blossom is an absolute love for me.I can't believe that I have such a great perfume without selling my soul to buy it.it worthes much much more than it's price and I find it even signature-scent-worthy It's a perfume for cool weather and not a good choice for warm days.sillage is incredible just as police forbidden but while it stays.unfortunately longevity isn't as good as forbidden,it stays 4,5 hour on my skin,tops.people can easily recognize your scent as you can easily smell on yourself This one and police forbidden are among my top favorite fragrances and among the best cheapies I had the pleasure of discovering :) Now I wish to find police passion which is nowhere to be found where I live P.s:it's name is definitely irrelevant..no rose and not dominant florals ❤❤❤❤❤ یه شاهکار دیگه از پلیس نذارین اسم این عطر شما رو ب اشتباه بندازه چون اینجا نه خبری از رز هست و نه شکوفه ها..پلیس تو بی رز بلاسم یه عطر بسیار سکسی و خاص و به یادموندنیه،مثل تمام عطرهای خاص دیگه ،عطر همه پسندی نیست و بلایندبای کردنش ریسکیه مگه اینکه عاشق عطرهای با رایحه غالب شیرین بیان باشید شبیه ترکیبی از هیپنوتیک پویزن ادوپرفیوم(عادیه نه ها) + دیزل لاوردوز + لولیتالمپیکا هست،یه عطر وانیلی با رگه های دودی،چوبی،پودری،اسپایسی اگه دیزل لاوردوز(بنفش رنگ) رو دوس داشتید اما بنظرتون زیادی ساده و یکنواخت بود این عطر از پلیس احتمالا راضی تون کنه جذابیت عروسکی مانند و خاصی داره و میتونه عطر امضاتون باشه.پخش بوی خیلی خوب و موندگاری متوسط داره پلیس باوجود قیمت مناسب بودن،واقعا میتونه با برندهای خیلی گرونقیمت تر رقابت کنه بااینهمه عطر محشر و متفاوت مثل فوربیدن،سینر،رز بلاسم،لجند،دارک و...

Its beautiful, smells alot like a nice celebrity perfume. Its like Katy Perry's Royal Rev (a good old fav) and Forbidden had a baby. Forbidden is still my fav cuz its so intense, rich and unusual, but this is also nice, alot more toned down and girly and sweeter. Not a dupe by any means, Forbidden is a lonely queen on her almond throne, permanent place in my heart and To Be Rose Blossom belongs in the same kingdom lol. This baby has some of that play-doh vibe in its drydown that reminds me of Forbidden (amber and heliotrope combo possibly?) which instantly made me a fan of Police perfumes. Its something Ive smelled before tho, its so familiar and then I tested both Royal Rev and this one and found many similarities, both sweet and very woody but playful, sliiightly bubblegumy too. To be Rose Blossom is darker, it has that licorice note that makes it abit spooky, like burned marshmallows haha, not really but it adds something grunge to it. To be honest I dont think this perfume has a dupe, that licorice heliotrope combo makes it very unique. I also dont find big similarities with Scandalous by VS, I own both (wearing both right now). That's praline heaven with the signature VS dna running thru, no woodiness just sweet fruitiness. The bottle was the main attraction, little skull that fits perfectly in your palm, your fingers on its temples and you spray it - it is duochrome purple blue and shines with light blue, green and yellow shimmer. Thats like the perfect perfume for a metalhead Barbie haha. Update: lasts 9 hrs on me :) Looooove it<3 Update: Beyonce's Heat Wild Orchid also belongs in the same family with that bubblegum sweetness. Both can be too sweet but lovely in cold weather. Also the licorice in it is very reminiscent of the "heavy candy" vibe in Simply Pink by Pink Sugar Aquolina, its the licorice! Its not for everyday, but when you want something warm, sweet and alittle rough. Update: Wonder in The Woods by Rue 21 is quite similar to this in woodiness and sweetness, minus the licorice note, other than that theyre very close. Wonder in the Woods is more wearable in warm weather tho as it is a colder perfume and has a Black Opium EDT vibe to it.

Police is lately surprising me in a very good way After lovely forbidden,nothing could please me more than a similar fragrance but darker and more complex Police rose blossom can be a love child of dior's hypnotic poison and Lolita lempicka.can you imagine how adorable this child is? I agree with lindley.I can't figure out why they've named this rose blossom,since there is no rose here and it's not a floral.I also don't know why it's classified as a chyprefloral?! For me,this is an oriental vanilla It opens with fresh fruit notes and soft,creamy florals.but soon spicy,dark vanilla shows up and changes it's bright atmosphere.liquorice and soft powdered almond like heliotrope mingle with vanilla and add a mature deliciousness to overall confection,but dark,spicy,woodsy base notes ground this yummy gourmand and make it darker and less sweet than forbidden.patchouli doesn't ruin it for me and I can feel something dark chocolate like.this spicy,dark chocolate liquor frosted but almondy vanilla is very warm and pleasing hey,I know this isn't an expensive perfume with a classy name.it's priced kindly and it's in that skull with large,tacky flower on it but I looove it and I know that I'm gonna buy it and put that ridiculous bottle on my wanity and feel happy for buying such a well crafted fragrance for such a bargain As always gonna edit this after owning it

Wow... Maybe my receptors are just different than most of the people in the comments, but i actually REALLY love this. I usually HATE licorice and any spicy dirty notes. But i don't get that at all with this fragrance! Neither do I smell any cigarette smoke. (Maybe because there is no ethyl maltol in here. I notice I am particularly sensitive to ethyl maltol in gourmands and it always comes off smelling like cough syrup to me) I'm noticing that a lot of the Police To Be flankers have an underlying powdery or plastic synthetic note. Rose Blossom smells like a balloon! It smells like birthday party. Balloons and sweet vanilla cake. I do get powder from the heliotrope. But i don't get the heady indolic smell from the white florals. If I detect any licorice at all, it's coming off as a natural, woody dry licorice. Not a greasy oily candy or extract. In combination with the vanilla, cedar and patchouli, It's giving me more of a coffee accord. To me, it's a sweeter, more primitive version MMM Replica Coffee Break, without the aromatic lavender. I think i lucked out with this one. I'm so tickled by the To Be line. The bottles are a little weird, but you always get a very interesting and different fragrance for a really really accessible price.

I just got this perfume, I also ordered it from perfume click. Instantly this reminded me of a more intense version of Loverdose EDP by Diesel. Also reminds me a little of Lolita Minut Noir. What I can smell on first spray is a black licorice with a minty like patchouli similar to how Angel Eau Sucuree is but not as minty like as that. If you like black licorice you will like this to me this perfume isn't as gourmand as the Lolita perfumes as. Maybe the slight mint like smell is also coming from the heliotrope mixing in with the licorice and patchouli. I don't really smell cedar. I really like this perfume. I see myself wearing this more in the night time since this is dark. Definitely a great fall and winter perfume.

Hot Damn, I just got this! Wahoo!! Ordered from the UK for a very good price. I have Police Forbidden, and Lolita Lempicka is my #1 scent in a collection of about 300 perfumes. ;) This is actually reminding me of Lanvin Me or Loverdose EDT. A powdery dry licorice, with a bit of vanilla/cookie. Not so much LL, and def not like HP or Forbidden IMO. I like it a lot- it's getting better and better! Will update with more impressions/opinions as I wear it. Right now, it's on a tissue for my first test. Maybe a little too similar to Loverdose EDT.... since I have that. Upon a proper wear... it's like Loverdose EDT, Me, and LL all in one! I like it!

It smells like spring — full of blossoms and flowers. Very powdery, vanilla, and sweet, yet fresh and breezy at the same time. I love it; it’s so unique. The licorice and vanilla notes are addictive, and the powdery scent comes from heliotrope. I can’t believe I got such a complex and beautiful perfume at such a low price. عطر شیرین، بهاری و پودری خیلی زیباییه. تاحالا جایی مثل بوش ندیدم نت پودریش کاملا از نوع گلیه. خود خود بهاره همیشه ازش بازخورد مثبت گرفتم. شیرین،گلی،پودری و ملوس🌸🌷

Well, it's not a rose perfume, it's not all that blossomy, and it's not a chypre. The name and class are a mystery to me. What it is, is a glorious licorice-vanilla gourmand, sweetened with pear, perfumed with heliotrope and freshened with patch. It reminds me of the Lolita Lempincka line more than anything. Police always manage to surprise and delight me. This is beautiful, but not at all what I expected when I blind bought it. What a bizarrely misleading name.

I would describe this scent as a bouquet of flowers surrounded by heavy cigarette smoke. :) That's how I feel when I wear it. It reminds me of a dark, smoky nightclub a little, but I don't mind. I wear this usually when it's gloomy and it's raining outside. I can't imagine wearing this during a hot, sunny day. :) The longevity and sillage are quite good in my opinion.

Updating to add that I’ve left this a year, and it’s now a vanilla liquorice bomb, projects like crazy and lasts forever, with much less Jasmine and white floral feel. The vanilla has bloomed and it’s deliciously syrupy - really fantastic. Original review: The bottle is duochrome blue and purple with a shimmer in it. Looks mainly shimmery blue. This is sweet, and smells of jasmine, first and foremost, a heady floral feeling, with a base of vanilla, and powdery musk and the slight almond vibe of heliotrope. As it dries there’s a warm spicyness that comes through (liquorice?) with a slight woodiness. And it becomes very musky. It doesn’t have any smoke in at all. It’s actually really good. Safe blind buy. Has vibes of Love don’t be shy by Kilian, although this is a bit spicier for the first hour. Has the same jasmine and musk feel though. And yes, it doesn’t smell anything like a rose, but it isn’t meant to! But honestly on my skin it’s a jasmine bomb. Maybe I’m sensitive to jasmine, but I’d honestly vote that as the number one note. ETA: great projection and longevity, smells great too, makes you wonder why people pay £££ for niche white florals when things like this exist.

I'm a fan of the Police To Be series (the skull bottles) which I think are amazing for the price. This is my least favorite one. I feel like if I could remove just one note (possibly the licorice or maybe the cedar) this would be a solid like. There's a little bit of a weird, vaguely sour smell I can't describe. No roses in this one so the name is a bit perplexing. It's not terrible but I can't see myself wanting to wear it. The crazy bottle is probably the best part. I do want to stress that the other fragrances in this series are really lovely.

Reminds me of Hypnotic Poison EDT. I like it quite a bit! This is pure powdery liquorice goodness! Update after owning it for a while: This dries down quite masculine (and not at all sweet) on me, especially in cold weather! It actually smells a bit like men's aftershave, probably because of the cedar. I don't mind, I will use up my bottle nonetheless, but I thought I would share a fair warning with y'all! If you are planning on blind buying this, don't do it unless you are okay with lots of cedar.

I like this but I actually find it a little similar to Forbidden by Police. Slightly less sweet. These notes aren't listed but to me it smells like a caramel coconut fragrance with a hint of white floral. It's nice but the name isn't indicative of the scent in my opinion. And on me there is not a trace of anything citrus. It is a lovely fragrance just not what it appears on paper.

I don't seem to get too disappointed often however with "Rose Blossom' even though there is no rose in the notes, is simply a strong musk on my fine self. That's not to say there is no development of the fragrance, it. Or rather. This fragrance quickly dissipates to a musk on me and within an hour. The musk akin a true white musk. This musk does linger on for at least 10 hours... So perhap's all is not lost... The other notes seem pointless, though I do understand the rosiness vibe in the initial first spray. I'm disappointed in this because of the fragrances behaviour on my skin. The bottle is a wow factor. An Iridescent patina with lilac coloured juice inside a lace frill instead of a cap..Many of POLICE fragrances are presented as is 'Rose Blossom' as a skull. I am not tempted to purchase any other Police fragrances again...Not even for the flacon's..'Rose Blossom' is also soft. So those seeking something grander may be disappointed. I'll use this as a body mist..

This literally smells like what your clothes smell like after smoking a cigarette in the rain, mixed with a single flower note (not sure which flower I'm getting) Ugh. I really wanted to like this too :( the entire time writing this has been literally my nose scrunched in disgust... also this 100000% does not smell anything like hypnotic poison? HP is a great perfume...

oh my gosh YUCK!!! this is awful, smells like my grandmas soap . a big nooooo i expected this perfume to be expensive smelling but it is not it smells like a cheap experiment with a Sharp soap smell...idont know what im talking about maybe i am DIZZY by smelling this.

This is a “meh” to me. I really regretted because I blind bought it. I couldn’t stand the smell for the first 30 minutes. When it dried down ( an hour later or more) it seemed better. Just because the bottle is so pretty I will keep it for decorating.

Can't believe it has no hazelnuts in it, smells a lot like RC 'Cavalli Gold', a creamy hazelnut flavoured fancy coffee. Why is it called rose blossom ?? Because of that ugly thing on top of it? Well, it's quite misleading. Overall, nothing special.

So... I blind bought this based on the reviews and notes. It is sharp on me. It does not work well on my skin. The bottle is gorgeous but not worth keeping just to keep it. If anybody would like to trade me something for it on me.

OMG, absolutely awful bottle :-(

Name is a misnomer as there is absolutely NOT ANY rose to be smelled here--or even any flowers at all... don't just forget about the "Rose" part, forget about the entire "Blossom" part ! (Though apparently Jasmine and Gardenia are listed as notes, I don't detect them--luckily, as I really dislike White Florals). Instead, this one is very much like Dior Hypnotic Poison, to the point that it could be a dupe of HP. Which means, Ambery, liquorice-vanilla "plasticky" smell... Isn't HP always described as "Play-Doh" or "Barbie doll head" smell ? Well, this is the same. In a good way (if you're into HP, like me). But at a way better quality/price ratio than HP. So if you're into HP's "plasticky" smell, this is an excellent deal ! I am happy with it, in that regard. Sillage is good (noticeable, but not overwhelming), longevity is o.k. (not so long--but again, considering the price point of this, it's an excellent bargain). Wouldn't wear this in summer / really warm weather; more of a fall / winter scent. P.S. pictures don't do the bottle justice !!! The bottle is GLITTERY, which doesn't come across in the photos on this or any other site. In real life, the bottle's not a dull lilac colour as it appears on the photos--it's a dark purple full of GLITTER.

This is another one of those samples I got by chance that I never would have picked out for myself. I had never heard of the brand before, I find the packaging hideous (I was really surprised to see several reviewers on this page calling it "gorgeous" - to each their own I guess!), and most importantly the note list looks indifferent to my personal taste. Of course sometimes these occasions turn out serendipitous and I end up unexpectedly loving one of these samples, and extending my tastes, but that didn't happen with this one, so I can be brief about it: to my nose, it's not a bad scent, but not a very good one either. It smells vaguely familiar because it's similar to so many other designer scents on the market right now: warm, feminine, pleasantly synthetic, shampoo-like, nice but nothing to write home about. It probably says enough that I'm not sure whether I have this version or the "regular" To Be for women, and I can't definitely decide based on the note lists, however different they are, because of this generic quality. Worth a try if you're on a budget and looking for something nice and feminine, but otherwise not very noteworthy in my opinion.

This is a super unique perfume but something about it is also familiar and nostalgic. I haven’t smelled Loverdose so I can’t comment on similarity but it does smell somewhat similar to Hypnotic Poison, esp in the drydown. I get licorice + anise + Hypnotic Poison (very dark, heavy, powdery semisweet playdoh-y vanilla). In the deep drydown, the licorice and anise fades, leaving the drydown to smell more like Hypnotic Poison. The main difference btwn this and HP is that this has anise & licorice, and it’s also a bit woodier in the base (cedarwood is prominent). Edit: someone below mentioned that it smells like Pink Sugar without the cotton candy sweetness and I totally agree. That thought legit crossed my mind too when I first sniffed this 😂 (great minds think alike 😝). Also kinda reminds me of Christian Siriano Intimate Silhouette but again, not as sweet

Mmmmm dont know. The only connection I get with this one and Police Forbidden is the vanilla, but not even then. There are no roses and no blossoms. I love the look of the lady in the photo.. she's dark and mysterious and you know there will be trouble... but in a very classy way. That was the smell I hoped for. To me, this perfume is dusty. The vanilla dry. The cedar dominates on my skin... which reminds me of those balls you put in the cupboard to keep moths out. Not giving up on this one. Just having trouble understanding it at the moment. At least I know when I am wearing it the moths won't be trying to make their home in my hair.☺

Just bought this new Police offering today and it smells divine!! It smells even better that so many niche scents I got in my collection. Think creamy vanilla mixed with a gorgeous gardenia and a licorice twist it is very sweet but so classy at the same time. I said it before Police scents ae very affordable and top quality ,if you like sweet fragrances but with sophistication give this one a try. The bottle is tacky like all the other bottles of Police fragrances but thejuice is Worth it

This one could work for either men or woman, I think. From the start, I get licorice and vanilla. The drydown softens it all a bit with a hint of sweetness. The skull is very cool. The iridescent purple/green with black rose topper is befitting of the juice within which is edgy and interesting. Incidentally, this could be a dupe for Black Opium Neon!✨

I found the perfumed lotion at an Euroshop, I smelled it, and the scent felt familiar! After analyzing it a bit, I noticed it smells like the drydown of Narciso Rodriguez Musc Noir Rose!!!
