To Be Sweet Girl

This is an indulgent scent. High quality, classy, ultra-feminine. The opening is beautiful. Starts with a cooling burst of succulent blackcurrant with a splash of citrus. I can really detect the bergamote/orange! Then it starts developing into a fresher version of the Polge family DNA: Coco Mademoiselle, Flowerbomb, LVEB combo. The patchouli, ambroxan emerge after a while without overpowering the toffee. These notes are not earthy, powdery, or heavy but rather lighter, sweeter, a hint amber...warm & sensual. In contrast patchouli in LVEB / Flowerbomb is sharper and punchier. 2nd half of the perfume lifecycle the cashmere wood develops and is gentle, musky, a hint woody and complimentary to the mid-notes. The performance is good too! Standard for Police – Maximum 8 hours before completely disappearing, I can still faintly smell it on my skin in the morning. Silage is further than arm’s length the first 3 hours then gradually decreases. Lasts for days on clothes. This is less sweet and suffocating than its sisters in the same genre. I prefer ‘To Be Sweet Girl’ to the others, because it has got juicy blackcurrant (instead of pear), soapy toffee and gentler patchouli with a cashmere dry-down. So far comments from male and female friends/family/colleagues were super positive with plenty of 'Oooo, this is sexy!' ‘what is this?!' etc. I can see myself effortlessly wearing this everyday in spring to cool weather: work, home, dates, all! A well-blended, sophisticated, and alluring scent. Cannot recommend enough!

For those in need of a sugar shot. Super sweet gourmand that opens with a burst of dusky fruit and sugar crystals that intensifies onto a black currant, toffee and patchouli base. A nice cross between La Vie Est Belle Landome and La Nuit Tresor Lancome. Comparison to La Vie Est Belle: These are different, with Sweet Girl being a lot fruitier but just as sweet - maybe sweeter. However the base is similar, with the super sweet, patchouli, and I detect a little iris in Sweet Girl (not listed) similar to LVEB. Comparison to Modest Deux Afnan: These are different but have alot of similarities when compared side by side. Modest Deux is less musky and I don't really get any iris touches but the overall structure is very similar. Overall: Well above average performance, however, not recommended for those who don't like sweet gourmand scents. Enjoy!

Came back to say this smells EXACTLY, if not at least 95%, like Sofia Vergara 'Sofia' EDP. From first spray to dry-down. I had both and found it redundant to keep 2 of the exact same scent. Both have stellar performance, decided to let go of 'Sofia' since it has 25ml less product :)

It's so 90s biker girl, tough with a super feminine edge, definitely fruity to me. I'm not a fan of these ugly skull bottles but this glitter pink bottle is a great visualisation of the fragrance, I have the smaller bottle and I'll repurchase

This is indeed a beautiful girly scent which lifts the mood and makes you feel playful, we all want this one! ! For me the toffee is prominent but not to sweet .It's a great experience to hold the sparkling pink scull

Cheap, long lasting, super sweet. Is this really identical to La Vie Est Belle? No, but at some point it does. It's about 70% similar to La Vie Est Belle. I also quite understand why people think that this one is similar to Jimmy Choo EDP, it's because both Jimmy Choo EDP and this one have patchouli, orange and toffee in their note. But does it smell like Jimmy Choo EDP? No, it smells closer to La Vie Est Belle than Jimmy Choo EDP. Is this one worth the price? I think yes. It performs really good on me.

I adore it. Reminds me so much of the time when my older sister was in middle school. I reccomend it If you want to smell like a teenage girl in 2010's. Sweet, very fruity, a little like hard candy or gummies. Very nostalgic to me and very comforting. I wear it when I want to feel girly, like a popular girl in 2000's movie. It also has some fresh, woody notes when it dries down. Overall very fruity, very clean, fresh, kinda sexy, nostalgic, but in a happy not sad way. I love it.

In my opinion, the toffee is a little too overpowering when first sprayed, but after settling on skin the woody note really comes through more, and balances out the sweetness. To me, there is also a musky note at first spray that I haven't seen anyone else mention, which seems to carry through the whole scent profile. It's a really pretty perfume for a warm night out, but just slightly too musky for me. I will definitely continue to wear though!

I just smell sweet gasoline-chemical fumes. It’s on the cusp of enjoyable, but the notes aren’t well mixed and are masked by a “poisonous” scent. I’ve experienced this with a number of other Police fragrances. I’ll do some macerating to see if it gets better. :( Update: 6 months after letting this sit, the gasoline smell is gone. It’s nice, sweet, floral and a bit soapy in the dry down. Glad I kept it.

A very good dupe for LVEB👍🏻 Nice and strong. I got several LVEB dupes in my collection (but don't bother with the original as the dupes are just as great) more or less reminiscent of the original, but this one is the best out of them, hands down. If you love LVEB and fancy a cute and girly albeit a bit childish and tacky bottle, go for this one instead 💕

I rarely use this and just have the bottle on my shelf for decoration but it's actually a very pretty black currant toffee scent, definitely very sweet and feminine but I feel like this would be nice on a man too, going to start wearing this more 💕💕

Another dupe for La Vie Est Belle, and a good one, I must say. It has a sugary twist, which makes it more girly and at the same time, lighter, wearable.

Love at first sniff.. definitely reminiscent of La Vie Est Belle. Slightly fruitier and potentially even more sweet/sugary, but maybe slightlyyy less complex? (def like it more than LVEB for myself personally.) The toffee is notable, delicious, and very similar to that caramely praline effect you get in LVEB. Mixed in with just a bit more of a fruity/citrusy punch than LVEB.. which I loveee and helps make it soooo juicy syrupy sweet yum yum goodness!! Something about this is just mouthwateringly juicy and sugary on my skin.. I just love it. The patchouli however is not as punchy as it is in LVEB which depending on what you like could be good or bad.. (I find it to be a bit more rounded and not as intense even tho I do love a punchy patchouli too.) I’m also detecting an almost metallic type of note that to me, is what takes this scent over the edge and makes it an absolute love.. it just has a... “ZNNNNG” type of effect lol. Definitely gives an edgy twist to an otherwise pretty safe scent which I LOVE. It’s almost kinda similar to smelling the inside of a pot or something lol. Honestly I’m not really sure how to fullllly explain it but it works. Oh my goddd this just smells so good. And don’t even get me STARTEDDD on the bottle!! I love unique perfume bottles and honestly have some really cool looking ones but this mightttt be my fave? It’s just so perfect for me and feels amazing to hold while spraying.. NGL the bottle is like 90% of the reason I bought this lol. Just WOW! Edit: ok so far it’s been a little over 3 hours and it’s still veryyyy nice. Definitely has already begun to tone down strength wise which is a bittt of a bummer for me as I like my fragrances to last me throughout the whole day.. feel like I’ll prob get a solid 4-6 hours before it’s completely gone which isn’t terrible for the price.. and with the size being 4.2 oz I have no problems with spraying this again mid day to rejuvenate it. And the scent itself is SOO good that it’s helping me justify its rather mediocre performance.. at least on my skin

I got this because it was compared to being similar to LVEB and some really big perfumers too. I don't like the bottle, but I thought, I'd tolerate it if I like the scent. But honestly, I don't understand the scent. It is sweet and fruity but I also feel like it smells a little metallic. It is like smelling inside a steel kettle or pot, or even like a sweaty skin which has perfume on. 🤣 I can't help it, I get those vibes when I have this on. I can't complaint much due to it's longevity. It did last on my skin for a good 6 hours or so, and for the price point, I say this is a money-worth perfume. Hmmm, will I call it a dupe for LVEB, nope, i don't think so. To me, it doesn't even smell close to it. Maybe it is just my nose, but I have another dupe for LVEB (Acqua di Parisis Venizia) and I think to me, that smells identical to LVEB than To Be Sweet Girl. Despite it, I guess this might just be a scent that I reach out once a while when I simply stay home, now that I am doing that a lot.

I just got a bottle as a blind by, I liked the. Let’s in it. First spray and I was in love, sweet but not overpowering.. somehow like a bouquet. After half an hour all I could smell was a familiar scent.. good girl by Carolina Herrera. Then I realized the name of this perfume was waaaay too similar so I am not sure if it was created to be its dupe. Anyways I am def not a fan of Good girl.. and not a fan of this either. I do have to add that it lasted quite a long time which I am surprised. Sprayed around 7:30 am and I can still smell it on my skin at 7 pm even after I showered. If you like good girl this is a great dupe. And a cheap one too.

nice bottle. opening sweet smell, but if smell closely, there is sort of metal smell which makes this perfume not so feminine, smells masculine to me and caused headache sometimes. Maybe this perfume is better labelled for unisex. Not recommend for blind buy. The smell is quite enormous and long lasting. Not my cup of tea. If no metal smell, it would be nice.

Powdery sweet floral. Soft yet stout. Great bottle and also budget friendly. However, a bit too powdery for my taste.

I honestly find this unisex but sweet. It reminds me alot of Rihanna's Rogue in the drydown. The drydown has a medicinal vibe its basically IDENTICAL to Rogue. And guess what once again my nose didnt trick me cuz cyclamen, jasmine, patchouli are common notes in these two bad babes and it seems like theyre enough to make the two perfumes cousins! Here we have black currant, Rogue has plum, here we have cashmere, there we have suede which makes Rogue so sharp and manly. Oh this is better than Rogue, if you want sweet sexy Rogue, go for this and the bottle is what made me buy it. The opening and first 30 minutes its very reminiscent of Shakira's Pop Rock. Its better than that cuz Pop Rock's patchouli/black currant smelled sour and like pop corn on my skin, almost like Mon Paris and To be Sweet is not as fruity as Mon Paris. It stays sweet but its patchouli is perfect! They share some notes at the top, middle and base: Black currant, orange (mandarin orange in Pop Rock), jasmine and patchouli. The opening is very beautiful and feminine, the body of it as it progresses gets smoky and dark. You know what, I like it for winter but I tried it on on a 75 degree sunny day. I dont like manly scents, but I almost loved Rihanna's Rogue. I do see some Jimmy Choo dna, and Im a fan of Jimmy Choo perfumes and unusual bittersweet perfumes. Good Girl CH? not even close according to my nose, nothing milky here. La Vie Est Belle is too feminine and sweet to be compared to this, not smokey. Not a safe blind buy, but if you like dark patchouli sweet scents go for it. The bottle is worth it. Got it for 24 bux not bad. Similar league are: VS Very Sexy Orchid (black currant there too but a more juicy less sharp scent due to the iris and orchid) and Twilight Shimmer MK (medicinal sharp plum & red fruits, smokey too).

Nice scent, smells expensive. The caramel smells just sweet enough and has a darker edge due to the patchouli. Probably not unique enough for hardcore perfume enthusiasts, but it is an inexpensive sweet treat. Very enjoyable.

VS came out with a mist, Violet Lily, and it smells almost identical to this, abit sweeter at first. Theyre both nice, but yea just a heads up cuz I love discovering dupes and alternatives.

The metallic smell is ambroxan people are picking up on. One of my favorite smells in perfume, smells woody and fresh, not metallic to me.
