Air of Clarity

the coconut in this reminds me of those shredded coconut flakes that go on desserts? yum! that combined with the caramel make this smell like a coconut cookie ~ the caramel is sweet but not over bearing. the tonka bean is smooth and brings in a slight powdery feel. the ambroxan is really the hero for me in this fragrance! it makes the projection much stronger without inducing a headache. leans more fem but def unisex. edit: def reminds me of Cheriosa ‘62 from Sol de Janeiro but without the synthetic car air freshener smell. Air of Clarity is sweeter and lighter.

This perfume is just the most DELICIOUS ever!! I wish I could just take a bite out of it to be honest!! It’s as if you’re eating a freshly baked coconut and caramel cake, drizzled with warm milk! The hint of musk in the back adds so much dimension to the scent too, making it not sickly sweet at all and instead a warm cosy kind of sweet! I don’t usually reach for coconut fragrances but this one is just too good to put down!! I got a sample version of this perfume and I’ll DEFINITELY be looking for the full size version because it’s just so yummy!! 🧸🍼🥥

Personally, I have the pendant (oil) and adore this fragrance. It's caramel and coconut with a small pinch of musk. I would definitely repurchase this again, and try "earthly abundance". It stays on my skin for 3-4 hours, definitely 8+ hours on the clothes. I know that some people would say "for this amount-i would never", but a little goes a long way. I would rate it 10/10 for the packaging. The pendant is beautiful, with so many interesting details and you can defo reuse it for other oils. Also 10/10 for the smell, it's delicious, warm and tasty.

It smells like a very sweet coconut caramel scent. I typically don’t like coconut because it smells like sunscreen to me, but it honestly doesn’t have that tacky smell. It’s a nice blend of caramel as well. Not cloyingly sweet either. It was also really strong for a long time. It reminds me somewhat of Sol De Janeiro Cheirosa ‘62 EDP. I didn’t really get any other notes besides caramel and coconut.

Out of the 4 portals parfums, this is by far the BEST one. It's sweet, milky, and smells exactly like caramel with a hint of coconut. I had this fragrance on for a couple of hours, and I could still smell it even after showering and scrubbing my arms for a while. If you're looking for a caramel perfume, I'd recommend this one. It's one of my new favorites 10/10.

To me, the air of clarity mainly has a very strong smell of coconut and caramel. It's a warm and comforting scent, it really feels like a breeze of air on a sunny day. It lasted about 20 hours on my skin but the next morning it still had a very light scent. I think that for its durability, smell and quality of the bottle it is worth the price

Very sweet at first spray definitely can smell caramel and coconut at the same time. It’s absolutely beautiful and very long lasting scent but very strong at first spray must go easy on this as it’s quite powerful about 4 sprays will get you through the day smelling extremely sweet and delicious. I recommend this one if you love sweet scents

I pair this one with my SDJ 62 and it smells heavenly. The caramel smells heavy (which I love.) If you aren't a fan of overly sweet/ gourmand, this may not be the scent for you.

smells like a toffee caramel coconut cookie with some musk. very cloying, thick, and syrupy, and just too strong for me :,) I don't know what it is but there's a note, maybe the ambroxan or musk that makes it smell weird. a little bit like a burning tire. i wanted to love this sooooo bad but that one note and how STRONG it is just makes me nauseous.. I don't hate it either, just a scent i'll wear time to time in the fall.

I will start this review by agreeing with Sprit3cranberri that the main notes I get from this fragrance are coconut & caramel. I like coconut fragrances if the note is not too over powering and this definitely ticks that box ! The caramel is a more distant but warm note rather that sticky sweet. I look forward to trialling this out more. So far 5/10 for me.

Honestly, not great, I do like it overall but with the mix of the amount you get and the fact the scent isn’t groundbreaking it really isn’t worth the price. I do like the scent though.

This gives like air spun sugar with Musk. Its not complex very simple.. I really think all 4 need to be mixed between each other... this mixed with Earthy Abundance is LOVELY!

painfully midddd. Sol de janeiro 62, rio radiance and beijos de sol mixed into one scent. So generic. For something with caramel and tonka bean, it is heavily lacking in sweetness and is just very coconut sunscreen-heavy with a hint of curry powderish spiciness. I actually think this is probably the least sweet one out of the 4, which you wouldn't expect considering the notes. Ngl even though I hate sol de janeiro now, I still think they do this formula way better than Melanie.

A disclaimer: I am reviewing the MIIM.MIIC dupes for these perfumes. Thick, syrupy caramel is not something that brings about clarity for me. This is for sure my least favorite from the collection. This scent has been done before, and in my opinion, too many times recently. This is something I would expect SDJ or BBW to put out.

Thick caramel with a cloying coconut note offset by a deep ambroxan base. Messy.

Smells like very cheap vanilla bathroom deodorant that you can get at a gas station.

it’s so cloying, it makes me thirsty just thinking about it.

The smell of... ignoring the age of consent

i'm so excited for when she drops them by themselves instead of all together ! i really want air of clarity and water of intuition! they sound soo good and my friend got the whole set for christmas this year and she keeps raving about how good they smell! also for people who keep talking about the picture of the four eyed creature, that's not the bottle. it's just what the perfumes are put in. but the bottle of the perfume is like a crystal at the top and a unicorn horn at the bottom, that's the best way to explain it. the bottles are also about the size of a water bottle , a few inches smaller. it is a very thin bottle and imo it is quite small for the price to buy the whole set ($200+) - Portals Air of Clarity is a yellow bottle - Portals Parfums Water of Intuition is a blue bottle - Portals Parfums Earthy Abundance is a green bottle - Portals Parfums Fiery Passion is a red bottle

i am shocked the coconut note wasn't most voted for air of clarity! it's all i smell! maybe i pick that up the most because i dislike anything coconut scented. it's not sunscreen-y by any means-- it's more of a coconut cream/milk. still, i can not get past the artificial coconut note! and this is just my opinion but when i think of "air of clarity" i think of a skin-musk floral scent. such a wasted opportunity :/ this is my least favorite of the four and i may end up selling.

Sweet , powdered sugar. I go nose blind to this quickly and don’t get any other notes. Probably my least favorite of the set because of this. I bought the whole set. ( The portals head container) It is expensive $275. I was hoping for more niche type scents but they are all sweet little girly. I really like cry baby, but these, nanh

Smells like SDJ. 2nd of the line I've sampled. Regretting even getting the samples. These are so boring.
