Infusion de Figue

Infusion de Figue is an intriguing, bold, daring mix between ripe figs, green, earthy galbanum, resinous mastique and a hint of mandarin. It’s mostly fruity, warm and resinous when it dries down but the opening is bitter and green in an off putting way. When I sprayed it on blotter I straight up hated it because it’s bitter and green in a vegetal way. But as it develops on skin it’s way better. Warm, fruity, citrusy, aromatic and resinous. It’s nice.. It’s an acquired smell in my opinion. Most of the infusions are very likeable as soon as you spray them and mass appealing. Infusions de Figue is not! It’s done intentionally I think towards a niche, more distinct direction compared to other fig dominant perfumes I have or sampled. I like it, but I don’t love it. It’s interesting, I will give it that. And definitely not a linear perfume. Miss Andrier creates hits after hits for Infusion line of Prada. Edit: The deep dry down is to die for. Smells like a completely different scent. It might be one of those scents that I have to put up with a challenging opening to get to the beautiful dry down. It’s geared towards a love and a potential future purchase... Edit 2: 30.04.2025 Tried this today in store again and I think it’s a love for me. I am still not crazy about the opening, but it lasts less than fifteen minutes, and then I am left on my skin with this gorgeous, sweet, aromatic, balsamic, decadent, fig/ mastic dominant scent that I am obsessed with. It’s something unique about this fig perfume that I don’t know how to describe in words but it’s amazing... Edit 3: 15.05.2025 Tried it again today and decided to purchase a bottle of Infusion de Figue! Edit 4: 20.08.2025 Now that I have smelled the entire line, I have to give Infusion de Figue the title of the most niche/distinctive Infusion. Most of them are loves for me, easy, approachable, mass appealing, lighter scents, with a couple of them not being my absolute favourites, but the Fig infusion is undeniably striking! The standout of this line!

This is so good. I’m so glad that Daniella Rosch Andrier came back to do a Prada fragrance again, since the move to L’Oréal and the recent releases of the infusion line (ylang ylang, vanilla) were quite bad, as well as Pardox and Lina Rosa ocean. All done by other perfumers which are not Daniella and it showed. This does not smell similar to all the comparisons people vote for above. People hear fig and think that all must resemble Diptyque, the way people see “Iris” and compare it all to Dior homme. It fresh, and very vegetal, but has this deep airy aromatic sensation which comes from the glabnum and the Mastiqa resin. It’s very classy and alluring a fresh that does not fall to cliche, and it’s really really good. I would say it reminds me of “ Untitled” by Maison Margiela, also done by Andrier. Has a similar vibe due to the galbanum. But this one is aromatic where “untitled” goes bitter green. Welcome back Daniella!

So let’s say that fig is my second favorite note after Iris. I do own a couple of fig fragrances (not as much as my irises but still). The projection and longevity of this one is amazing on my skin. Someone recently said I smell like a Dove soap bar when I was wearing this and now I can’t unsell it ahaha. On my skinn it’s like if Dove soap bar had mixed fig in it. I do agree with a previous comment that this one is a bit chalky and dusty but I like it. Definitely sweeter than phylosocos and not so sweet as bdk Gris charnel. Gris charnel edp’s fig note is more milky and sweeter, and Gris charnel extract fig note is more of a fig jam. Anyways it’s become one of my to go spring summer daytime scents (mind that I don’t like the typical bergamotte, aquatic blue mens scents and it’s hard for me to find summer scents ahah).

It wasn’t until I read lilacmemory’s review that I realized why this perfume is so intoxicating to me! I pick up on the chalkiness as well, and I adore it. Between you (the reader) and me and everyone else on the infusion de figue fragrantica page - I have pica real bad and crave the scent of drywall, plaster, chalk...forget fig, this perfume reminds me of the whiffs of freshly turned soil and gypsum I catch when walking past construction sites. I understand why this perfume is so divisive (my mother, who loves infusion d’iris, made a face when she smelled this on my wrist) but I fell in love from the very first moment I sprayed this on a tester strip at the SeaTac duty free. If you are similarly freakish/low on iron, maybe you’ll also appreciate...

I understand the negative reactions - the galbanum in the opening of this is SO dry and bitter to the point of being almost ashy. Hiding behind that is a very tart fruity note. The overall impression is not particularly pleasant to me and it feels slightly incohesive. After 10 minutes though, that opening starts to fade and I'm left with what may be my favorite offering in the Infusion line - a slightly soapy, slightly creamy fig and fig leaf laid out on the standard infusion base. Well worth the wait and utterly wearable. To my relief, there is nothing sweet here. Completely unisex. Like all Infusions it sticks close to the skin but lasts 8+ hours in summer heat.

Prada Infusion de Figue greets you with a vivid burst of green fig leaves, somewhat reminiscent of morning dew in an orchard. As it evolves, a creamy, milky sap accord emerges, but still figgy to the core. Afterwards, the fragrance shifts to resinous yet sweet mastic and galbanum, developing an almost musk-like warmth. Performance is similar to the other Les Infusions. Not the biggest sillage, but longevity spans 8+ hours. A truly elegant companion for Spring and Summer days.

This smells soo good!! It’s creamy, but not laconic, it’s green which cuts through the density of the fig. And the mandarin adds a sweetness. This is the best fig I’ve smelled. Phylosykos by Diptype is more perfumey, and more smack dab unisex more lactonic less sweet. And Gris Charnel is beautifully dusty and dry spicier to the nose. This one gives a comforting cozy ripe,fresh. Green fig that I feel is year around. The cigarette ash people I don’t know what they’re smelling.

The fragrance opens with harmonious citrus accords of Mediterranean and juicy mandarin immersed in lively and distinctly vibrant fruity notes of fleshy and sugary fig, elegantly enriched by exclusive and refined green accords of galbanum with bold and unexpected resinous notes of mastic. Infusion de Figue Eau de Parfum is undoubtedly a rich and kaleidoscopic fragrance, with a strong personality.

This is very similar to premier figuier and phylosikos, but with a slight designerish vibe, which makes it less realistic but more crowd pleasing. It’s very nice, it has a very little prada infusion background, but not so distinguishable like the others from the line. Lovely

Light, green, fresh, a little hint of Iris. The fig isn't ripe or sweet, it's rather like the green part on top of the fig, maybe fig leaves. Galbanum in the base gives it an uncommon twist. Probably the most contemporary scent of the L'infusions range. I like it a lot.

Like a Infusion d'Iris with lots of juicy fig added. Delicious and mouth watering at first, and then typical elegant infusion base I do love. If you like this line and figs, there's high chances you will like it. Will buy a bottle soon.

Green and fresh fig, moist soil, and clean musk. An immediate love for me. It's a clean, fresh, subtle, and gender-neutral scent. If you are looking for a sweet, creamy, gourmand, or feminine-leaning fig, this one is not for you.

I love this scent! My number one for the upcoming summer. It's very velvet, fruity and somehow fresh, but still elegant and classy with its note of iris. Just can't restrain myself from smelling my wrist.

A green and creamy fig. Unisex.

I was so excited to try Infusion de Figue: I love both fig scents and Prada's line of Infusions with its wonderfully cold, powdery base, so the combination sounded kind of like an olfactory dream come true. Now that I've tested it (extensively, having worn it often over the last few weeks because I was trying to gear myself up to start reviewing samples again after a long hiatus), I have to say it doesn't live up to those high expectations all the way, although I do like it quite a lot. In the opening it's (one of) the kind(s) of fig scent I really like, not sweet but green and a little woody, but like living wood, kind of nutty. To me, it's an uplifting kind of scent, simple in a good way, transparent but not vague, kind of clear. Good for work, for instance. Later the fig note becomes a little sweeter and warmer, and it's joined by that powdery Infusion base that I know and love, although it's not so obvious/strong/recognizable in this one as in some of the others of the line. The two aspects go together well, although not quite as well as the original Iris, for instance. But I might be testing it in the wrong season; it might come into its own a little more in late spring or on a cool summer's day? I also have to mention that once or twice while I was testing I got a fleeting impression of the dreaded Womanity kind of fig (which for some reason just really doesn't agree with me), but most times I wore it there luckily wasn't a trace of that. Longevity and especially projection seem on the low side of average to me, I was surprised to read the opposite opinion in others' reviews. Another reason to reserve definitive judgment until I've tried it out in warmer weather - for now I'll just say I like it a lot with some reservations!

I literally just tried a sample of Infusion De Figue. I LOVE FIG SCENTS and I've been trying out some well loved ones. This is an absolute LOVE. It's got the woodiness, which may make some feel it is masculine leaning, but I feel this is an absolute beautiful unisex perfume. I'm someone who does not like to even depress the plunger of perfumes all the way down for fear of not liking it and mt having to inhale something I loathe. Even when I'm comfortable with something I am a 1-2 spray person unless it's an intimate scent and even then I am not one to douse myself. Upon my first test, it almost instantly became a skin scent. I was home alone and not going anywhere, so I decided to go for it. I sprayed it about 7 times- winner, winner, chicken dinner! It's something that I'll definitely need to bring it with me to refresh, but I immediately bought a full bottle. That lead me to look at the other Infusions. I was able to test Iris in the store and it's a hard no, as it's powdery, super powdery. I'm waiting for my Vanille and Ylang samples...

Indulgent but never overwhelming, this scent is like biting into perfectly ripe fruit, its juices spilling onto sun-warmed wood. A fig fragrance that doesn’t lean too green, too earthy, or too jammy—just right.

I still don't know what kind of fig this is? Despite that, I like how it opens up so bitter. It is fun to watch how irritating it is in the first 10-15min and how it settles into a refined musk, same as in infusion d iris. Galbanum is what makes it earthy and sharp, it reminds me of immortelle that I had on the terrace and how hay like it was, wafts of it in the early summer were repulsive lol. This should have been called Infusion de férule gommeuse . association: working in the field in august when everything is turning into hay but you still have to dig holes in the ground and its bitter but your skin is naturally musky and sweet and all that mashes in this concoction

I don't get much fig, as this is a galbanum bomb. It's also quite bitter as this is more orange rind than mandarin orange pulp. The overall effect is woody, fresh, and transparent, and I swear iris is in here somewhere. There is nothing sweet or fruity at all about it. Not a good blind buy if you are a fig fan, but at the end of the day, I really like this. The bitterness tilts more masculine to my nose and this is perfect for a hot humid summer day. Elegant, classic and expensive smelling, it's a high quality Prada scent. Only down fall is the name. Not a fig scent one might expect or want. Try before you buy.

I’ve been searching for fragrances with fig notes for a while and i tried it instantly when i came across it. and wow it was an experience... this fragrance unleashed memories that i forgot i had. it smells exactly like my grandma’s garden filled with plum trees. the fragrance itself doesn’t smell like figs but more like trees and soil (in a good way) very earthy and realistic. i can’t imagine myself wearing this but if i smelled this on someone i would definitely go crazy for it. not your regular fruit smell. homely and nurturing.

Finally a fig fragrance that’s not too green and bitter. The opening is zesty and energising, the journey continues with a delicious fig that dries down to a clean but still fun and deep scent, milky- lotion like quality. Surprisingly leaves a certain scent trail and the longevity is around 6 hours, remains as an intimate, clean, fresh fruit scent close to the skin for 2 more. Beautiful choice for the warmer seasons, my personal favourite and most balanced to my nose from the entire line so far.

Prada Infusion de Figue is definitely a very different perfume than the rest of the collection. Like BikiniSoTeeny pointed out, it is obnoxiously dry and dusty, like in the worst heat in August. And being a fig perfume, I would say the smell is of the dust that sometimes gathers on the fruit in the heat when they’re still on the tree or bush. It is so strange, but somehow it can be pleasant if you get past the first 15 minutes or so.

For once, no sugary and milky pretenses where the fig often veers towards coconut. Here it's beautiful, frank and without tropical disguise. You have the impression of strolling in a sunny orchard, in the shade of the fig trees, thanks to this very clear aromatic/green side which envelops the entire perfume. The result is an airy fig, far from being gourmand, all in freshness and subtlety. I really enjoyed it.

if you love TF’s figue erotique, this might be up your ally! it’s a very subtle perfume but the figue + mandarin combo is what gives it that TF take on fig. unfortunately, the performance (projection specifically) is poor and it disappears from the skin rather quickly, but if you’re a beginner to fig, this would be a great scent to sample!

This smells like wet soil after heavy rain. Wet fig tree leaves and branches. Actually smells like fig tree orchard after rain. It has nothing to do with fig scent itself. This perfume is something special ,very elegant , subtle,intimate , just a delicate skin scent.

Infusion de Figue is a really interesting scent! I get a lot of fresh fig and mandarin orange upfront, which is perfect for summer. It dries down to something a little greener and more balsamic, but it's still very pleasant. Definitely unisex!

A wonderful bitter-sweet fragrance but definitely not for everyone as it is quite strong. To me, it smells like fig leaves rather than fruit. 7.5/10

Ughh opening was soo good i was about to buy it but the drydown was bad... it become sweet and kind a syrupy on my skin :(

I had high expectations, but it's bit of a letdown. I finally had the opportunity to test it. I really like fig as a note, I'm a sucker for Philosykos by Diptyque , Jardin en Mediterranee by Hermés, Pulp by Byredo and Pearl by Mancera. Fig is presented beautifully in these. Infusion de Figue isn't actually similar to any of these fig masterpieces. It opens with a blast of soapy, but at the same time little bit rancid fruitiness, but it dries down to be almost exactly like Infusion d'iris. It would be hard to distinguish the 2 of them. If you like Infusion d'iris it worth a try, because the lasting power is great, actually way better. I sprayed it around 6:30 PM, and it's midnight now and it still projects.

I had high hopes for this one when it didn’t start out super synthetic smelling, after my less than impressive experience with Infusion de Fleur D’Oranger. FIgue starts out green and woody, very fresh, and unisex. I appreciate that it doesn’t lean masculine, like most woody fig fragrances. Unfortunately, it dries down indolic, which combined with the fig, gives off a sickly sweet smell. I love fig fragrances (this is the... 24th I’ve tried?), and I actually enjoy indole in white floral fragrances, but the combo of fig and indole unfortunately smells cheap and synthetic.

This smelled, on me, overwhelmingly of chalk. Like I'd been cleaning a blackboard. I've seen it described as "bitter," "ashy," and "vegetal," or like soil after rain, and while all that is true, I cannot believe no one has brought up the chalkiness. Is it just me? I kept waiting for it to dry down into something a little more approachable, but the blackboard scent lingered for hours. I didn't hate it, but I think you'd have to be a pretty austere individual to love it.

So this should have been the Prada fragrance to bear the name Paradox. The dry down is to die for. It showcases that wonderful Prada infusion base beautifully. As well as - if not better than - most of the fragrances in this series. The opening however is absolutely horrid on me and it lasts a very good while too. Maybe it's the interaction of the orange and the fig. Whatever it is, it is harsh and bitter and just unbearable on my skin. i wish I got Chanel 19 vibes like the reviewer below me. That would have been amazing.

Infusion de Figue by Prada is a regrettable misstep in perfumery. The opening is an assault of synthetic, bitterly sharp fig that feels excessively synthetic. It’s instantly off-putting, leaving me wishing I’d never sprayed it. The vegetal quality lingers in a deeply unpleasant way. Only after a long, arduous dry-down does it soften into something remotely tolerable, but by then, the damage is done. This perfume was a detestable experience.

I was excited to try this because figs are my favorite fruit, but it left me perplexed. It smells green, bitter and herbal, like dry grass. Figs are sweet, creamy and fresh, with a honey-like aftertaste. There is none of that here. The mastic note saves this from being a "hate" for me, but it doesn't redeem it. Thankfully it's gone within 2-3 hours so I didn't have to suffer with it longer than necessary.

I recently bought Philosykos and wanted to test this, just to understand if I made the right choice. Luckily for me I did, because Philosykos is way more creamy and realistic fig, and green only in the opening. Infusion is too sharp and artificial, I didn't like it at all. I haven't tried many fig perfumes in my life, but in my opinion this one is not really that fruity, more herbal and green.

Like "laramharam", this smells like a concrete wall on my skin. Like an underground parking garage. (Of course, there is nothing wrong with that if you are looking for that kind of scent. 😊)

This is an irritant, sharp, green fig. To my nose, it is the cheap, synthetic and less classy sister of Armani Privee Figiuer Eden. If Figiuer Eden is a refined and smooth, high class lady, who is clean and sophisticated, then Prada Figue is someone who just dowsed themselves in synthetic fig cleaning products followed by heavy wood cologne. I have Prada Iris absolue, infusion d'Amande, and D'Vanille, and although all different, they are nuanced, and all have that beautiful Prada D'iris DNA. Prada Figue does not.

Unusual fig perfume but also not. Do not expect Philosykos EDT/EDP or Premier Figuier EDT/Extreme, or any other realistic fig perfume. "Infusion" is the key word. The votes on "reminds me of" are already wayyy misleading. If anything, Infusion de Figue is a leathery, spicy-woody-cedar perfume with galbanum supported by fig and mate/matcha tea/cardamom kind of aromatic notes and some milkiness. The perfume has texture/noise, in photographic terms. This type of fig interpretations can be smelled in the classic Salvatore Ferragamo pour Homme (with dominant cloves too and less of the milk) and more recently in BdK Gris Charnel and Mancera Fig Extasy. Shortly after the fresh fig opening the entire composition goes into a woody-spicy route, I even get roasted nuts with pea nuances, a different fig accord too, not the one most people are used to: Stemone x lactones. This one has the musty vibe of fig tree smell in the hot evening air or perhaps the dried fruits, both quite different than the smell of the leaves when rubbed/crushed. The perfume itself is indeed an infusion of fig with many other things to my nose, so it delivers the name. But let's please stop referencing literally every perfume that has features fig in the name or in the notes to Philosykos and Premier Figuier (and TBS Italian Summer Fig).

A beauty.I smelt it in Sephora yesterday.I didn't like it as first but I assume it is because I was angry at something but then I left the store and...god.Before I smelt this scent I was thinking about buying the full size of Luna by Penhaligon's but I think I will buy this fragrance because it is that good.I smelt it when I was eating a desert.When I was in stores waiting my father who was accompanying me to finish his shopping.When I came back to home.It is genuinely beautiful.It opens with a bitter fig.It is fresh, playful, cute but seductive.It is definitely a spring scent but you can use it in summer too. the dry down is a bit bitter and soapy but nothing unpleasant. This perfume has been the only thing on my mind since yesterday.A 10/10 from me.

I bought this fragrance at a duty free and on the paper it smelled bitter but when I applied it to my skin that’s when the magic happens. It starts off with a strong fig, reminiscence if you cut a fig in half and then it becomes softer. It lasted 5 hours on my skin, the projection is quite obvious for people to notice but it does not overpower. This is definitely the scent I’m going to be wearing in summer, autumn and spring. My favorite part is that it’s definitely a scent one can wear both day and evening. I have a feeling I’ll be finishing my full size bottle very quickly

To hear some people say this smells like cigarette ashes struck me as funny, because I find certain formulations of fig perfume or products (for example, bohemian fig line by Josie Maran) have a cigarette-esque smell to them. Fig scent doesn’t occur in nature to where perfumers can extract it, so it’s an interpretation, essentially. Not sure what they use that gives it that... twinge, but I’ve definitely smelled it before. So interesting! I was thinking of BB-ing, but now I’m not so sure...

Genuinely awful. It smells like a parma violet concentrate mixed with marzepan. So chalky and strong, it smells like old clothes doused in the wrong perfume or the stuck-up girl at school called Prudence who tattles on everyone and has made it her life's mission to be teachers pet. I think even being in the vicinity of this would be bothersome

A very very unique take on fig that can be polarizing. Creamy fig with dry, almost salty wood. The combination of lentisque & fig creates a very unique smelling profile. I've smelled quite a few fig centric fragrances and this is the 1st time I've smelled a fig like this. The most complex smelling one in the collection. Great!
