Infusion de Mimosa

There are perfumes that touch our soul... Perfumes that transport us to different places, different times. Infusion de Mimosa is one of them for me. Born and raised in the Mediterranean,mimosas are the summer, the sun, the carefree vacations of childhood.These magical little flowers that don't look like flowers, but look and feel like little golden velvet ponpons, so soft and fragrant, always had me mesmerized! Infusion de Mimosa,with its gentle, smooth, honeyed, sunny and natural scent, takes me back in time and puts a smile on my face. Innocent and feminine, romantic and dreamy, it's a promise of happiness, a whisper in our ears that all is good in this world... A promise that there will always be sunny days, happy young girls, carefree moments, endless summers, golden sunsets and sweet kisses... To me, Infusion de Mimosa is the best of the Infusions line, the most natural smelling! Don't expect big sillage or great longevity though. It's mimosa... Mimosa is by nature shy, demure and fleeting. It will be noticed, but it will never impose and "scream" its presence. It will just make everyone around you want to hug you and stay there... Forever!

Not a modern one but slight older. Timeless, Mimosa scent with enough Anisic tone to make this fuller, sweet. I think another beautiful point of Infusion de Mimosa. Is how fresh it is. Still smell like Sunlight. The make up dress the sunlight hits. I think I will readd this to my collection due to the message it provide for me.

Very bright and refreshing floral fragrance. The mimosa dominates from the beginning with zingy mandarins. Think about the whole mimosa flowers and stems in field the has some roses around. Imagine it as it had been baking under the hot summer sun for hours before a cooling breeze comes through to bring it to your senses. This would be perfect for an elegant and smart person that has manners and etiquette. This would be favorable in the high heat and humidity of the tropical summer as it becomes very diffusive and alluring.

This is such a gentle delicate scent that its fleeting and does not stick around for long. It reminds me of youth and delicate small flowers. Definitely a happy sunny spring or summer day scent that wont offend most noses. Its a subtle scent so most will just find you smell clean, but if its freshly applied I find it smells mostly of the mimosa flower.

I'm stunned by this fragrance! I had to try it because it's getting such good reviews and I hadn't purchased Prada for some time. It's delicious! Light but potent and alluring; a refreshing and magical addition to my fragrance collection, which I can still smell on my clothes 24 hours after wearing it. I highly recommend trying this beauty!

If only this perfume would have some life in it. I have purchased a full size bottle on a whim and I still absolutely love the scent, but regret the lack of longevity and silage. Smells like clean skin but better, soft and gentle. Still, Infusion d'Iris is better value for money.

Such a special scent. This is a photorealistic portrait of the scent produced by all the pollen-heavy budding trees and bushes in spring. It smells like the world coming alive again after a long, dark winter. If anyone has a bottle for trade, please hit me up!

I love this fragrance. The mimosa and rose creates a beautiful symphony, it’s powdery yet elegant and modern. It has the same vibe as Touche Finale by Jovoy, yet Infusion de Mimosa is brighter and sweeter.

I purchased a kit of .27 oz Prada Infusion minis (along with a set of 3 .33 oz rollerballs from the Candy collection) and they arrived today. It's a lot to get to know, so I tried one I never experienced, which is this one - the Mimosa. So far I am REALLY pleased with it! I'm not a huge mimosa lover, though I certainly don't dislike it in most fragrances. Though this isn't quite a proper test, my initial impression is that this may end up being one of my favorite mimosa scents ever. The unfortunate part is that I can already tell it is fated to have poor longevity. My bottle is a dabber. Once I do a proper test, I'll update, but based upon first impressions, this may be FBW for me. EDIT 10/17/22 - purchased a full bottle (tester) that arrived today!! It's so frustrating because I love the scent but like all the Infusions I have or have tried, my skin devours it and it is a complete skin scent. Of course, it needs to sit a while after it's journey, but I don't know if that will help too much. It never helped with my Iris. I will say though that I used to have a full bottle of the Orange Blossom many years ago, and while I could barely smell it, I had a client tell me how good I smelt after 8 hours. Is it possible to be anosmic to a specific brand? All Pradas I own give me problems and yet I still purchase them because they smell so good while they last and I love Daniela Roche Andrier.

I like Infusion de Mimosa very much - how could I not, when it's so recognizably a part of the Infusions line, whose trademark clean, powdery-woody base I'm so fond of? It almost doesn't matter what that base contains, it's so good in and of itself. That being said, I think this is my least favourite one so far. The mimosa note is nice, but I feel there might have been a little more of it; and although there's no denying that the anise note works very well in this composition, and it's worked in in a very balanced way, it's just not my favourite. But as I said, I still like this Infusion very much as well - just like its sisters, it's the kind of subtle yet interesting scent that's perfect for the office, for instance. It's just that I personally would reach for Infusion d'Iris a lot more often, so I think my decant will last me a lifetime.

I tried it from the sample at the very hot summer day. It's clean, good smooth soapy not loud, soft, very light, as airy at first sight, and just a little sweet, I think that sweet come from the anise and mimosa that blending is very well. Very nice but not as beautiful. After a quarter, some powder is coming, not very, and then I can smell the sweet of mimosa, that I expected, but just a little ^^. About an hour, I get the woody coming and floral lay back until drydown. Sillage is soft, I think it's good at spring or not too hot of weather, great for library and office. Longevity is 1-2hours for me, as other of infusion items.

I like the longevity of this perfume – smells for days and days on your clothes. If you are into soft, soapy scents – Prada Mimosa is for you. However, I prefer more feminine versions of mimosa, such as the one Gucci does (Winter’s Spring). Prada is still a bit too unisex for me. I also find it to be more suitable for older women. I see how some people can smell baby wipes in it, but that is the problem with the baby products companies :D They take those beatiful perfume scents and now we begin to associate perfume with the wipes and not the other way around.

I'm on day 3 of my Infusions testing (Iris and Amande are in the bag and firm wins), today is Mimosa. This seems more fleeting than either of the others. It is an extremely pretty, delicate, clean, a touch soapy floral. A bit of creaminess in the base and a fresh sharpness at the top. It's very enjoyable but I had to put SO MUCH on to get even the merest skin scent. I only have a dab-on tester and would love to know how these infusions sit when sprayed so they touch on hair and clothes as well. I like this, I just wish there was "more" in the juice.

It's a beautiful fragrance, like a Spring in the bottle. On my skin evolves very natural honied mimosa with fresh spicy orange and Woods. It reminds a bit of Merveilles of Hermes which are my big love. When Infusion d'Iris is clean and cold, this is warmer with flowery notes but still Infusion. I realized I love mimosa and if you want it last longer and have a projection, try Eden, another mimosa "eden" ;-) Oh, just to add, Prada is becoming my favourite house beside Hermes.

Linear, soft, ethereal, elegant perfume I loved from first sniff! I will repeat Tatto LadyK's words as they expressed my feelings too.... "...the juice is amazing, packed with sunshine and memories of strolling the sunny narrow streets of a Greek island, stone houses painted white with blue windows all around you and big flower pots with mimosas and bougainvilleas blooming under the sun..." I'm Greek and put my signature on this!!

linear and smells like zwitsal (dutch baby powder) but i still like it. sometimes the scent does hit the back of my throat which is WEIRD. its wearable in winter. Idk what else to say its really not amazing but it is classy i suppose. I would have never bought this if it wasnt on heavy sale

Greetings from Canada. The infusion series can be purchased at the bay, in house and online. I originally went in to buy infusion d'iris, the SA slammed me with the Mimosa and I was hooked. It's delightful, delicate and gentle but not shy, she does get noticed

Absolutely divine and heavenly. Smells so soft, so pastel and subtle. I don't think I ever smelled a mimosa soliflore so beautiful. +

Atop the Infusion line's signature very soft powder, slightly soapy base, this opens with effervescent yellow florals. While it has a fresh fizzy mandarin top, beneath that is a dry bouquet of pollinic mimosa, a touch of honey, and what I perceive as a slightly unpleasant cleaner residue that slowly dissipates deeper in the drydown. Soft projection for 2-3hr, longevity 8-10hr.
