Infusion de Rhubarbe

This scent is absolutely addicting. The rhubarb is absolutely wet, sweet, and juicy with this one but what makes it unique, and undeniably a love for me, is the fizzy soda-like quality to its texture. The green mandarin makes the rhubarb so fresh and tart. An ideal scent for spring and summer, pure sweet + fruity. I haven't smelled other rhubarb-based scents so I can't compare across fragrances but this makes me want to get other rhubarb scents! Bought the full size (on sale) after smelling a travel size randomly in Sephora and have worn it extensively throughout the summer. Might not hold up longevity-wise against super sweaty/active days (biking in the sun, 30+ deg heat, travel days) but i love the scent so much it doesn't matter to me. Lasts decently in more chill summer days and projects moderately i think.

I've loved many rhubarb fragrances. Ricci Ricci was my high school sweetheart. Most recently, I've found myself involved with Pony Boy by Jorum Studio. Prada's Infusion de Rhubarbe is the latest in my line of rhubarb crushes. Rhubarb, when done well, feels exactly like the vibe I want to embody, at least on some days: playful, effervescent, existing in contradictions (in rhubarb's case: between sweet and sour, candied pink and vegetal green). This one especially is like fizzy pink rhubarb soda, and less sweetened than you'd expect it to be. The citrus emphasizes the green aspects of rhubarb making it mouthwateringly tart. The bottle is especially charming irl. What's not to love?

Well, this perfume is an immediate winner. I think the sillage, the longevity is immense. One thing that struck me odd is how it was super fresh in the beginning then it turned sweet, and after a few hours, it became more tangy skin scent rhubarb that is exactly like the original rhubarb. It is crazy to find something so beautiful that smells like real rhubarb and reminds one of summer. This is a definite twin to Hermes' cologne, and honestly, this twin is better in so many ways. It has more depth to it and stays on your skin for 6 hours. In the store, I wrote down that it gave me a fresh, fruity, green smell. This is irresistible in a sensual way but also playful. I love it

On my skin the opening was surprisingly green, with it smelling just like a fresh cut stalk of rhubarb straight from the garden. Then it starts drying down into a beautifully light jammy scent. It stays fruity, but becomes sweeter whilst keeping just enough of the greeness to keep it light and bright, without it ever becoming sickeningly sweet. It's a really pretty, well balanced, super easy to wear scent that isn't going to overpower anyone. If you're looking for something to announce your arrival to a room, this isn't it. But if you want something you can wear to work without gassing your colleagues, this could be the one.

So fresh, so cute, so pretty, so clean, so perfect for spring and summer. I love it. Such a lovely bright perfume. I love the rhubarb note in this one. Brings just the right amount of bitter sweet zesty-ness. My favourite of this line. As it's more of a lighter perfume the sillage and performance is on the moderate side. But I didn't expect it to be more than that. It's more of a refreshing perfume for a quick spritz of happiness. Lovely stuff!

The opening is bitter but blossoms beautifully into a slightly powdery citrus body. The notes aren't overpoweringly sweet, which lends to its sophisticated feeling (as many other users have described). It's not girlish at all and evokes the image of a mature woman (perhaps in her early 30s) with youthful flair. Altogether a wonderful tart perfume for the Spring / Summer. I will be wearing this A LOT.

Very fruit and clean, and the drydown is absolutely gorgeous. It's sweeter than I was expecting, especially as it evolves throughout the day. I would wear this year round but could see it leaning more toward a summer choice for most people. Reminds me of Hermes Jardin Sur Le Nil, and someone commented that it's a slightly fruitier Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet which I can also see.

Delightful fragrance. To me it initially smells like a fresh cut piece of rhubarb pie, but then the green mandarin and rose notes (rose is clearly listed on the packaging and bottle, but left off in the notes above for some reason) quickly kick in. Clean, fresh, and green. Will be perfect for a sunny spring day. Definitely a very realistic rhubarb at it's core...

I absolutely love this! It's such a unique clean but not soapy scent. One of my all time favorite "clean" scent is Valaya because i really don't enjoy "soapy clean" but Rhubarbe is the perfect summer clean citrus ever. For me this really is the perfect balance of crisp ripe rhubarb and sharp citrus.

That’s a very pretty scent: juicy, fruity and slightly sweet. It has some floral and musky aspect as well that makes it slightly soapy in the dry down, but it’s not too irritating. The rhubarb itself is somewhat citrusy and green with a touch of fruitiness. My ig: scent.guide

This is just the scent profile that I love, but it's difficult not to compare with Hermes rhubarbe which I love. IMHO, you don't need both, but I really admire the cleanness of Prada's infusions range so I would be looking for deals when it eventually goes to the discounters.

It smells exactly like fresh rhubarb. Reminds me of being a kid in the summer eating rhubarb with my friends. 10/10

Eau de pressed linen and pastel sourness. A tangy pink pressed into silk, this is rhubarb dressed in Prada’s uniform: starched, whisper-light, and too elegant. That signature Infusion puff of soapy, powdery iris-cleanliness sets the tone as always, but here it’s tinted: a sudden green-pink spark, like slicing into chilled rhubarb stalks with a fresh knife. Sharp, vegetal, mouth-watering, but brief. Then the grapefruit steps in like a twin pretending to be rhubarb. Less bitter, more luminous, rounder in its citrus glow. Perhaps a tinge of neroli or orange blossom in the mix, too, just enough to lift it off the skin with a summer sigh. Our glistening fruit bowl is accompanied by a shower of petals. Rose arrives like freshly-laundered sheets: crisp, velvety-soft, and ever so proper. Not the lush romantic kind, no. This rose is modern, see-through, with a clean aldehydic halo. It hums, doesn’t sing. You get that signature Infusion base again. Musk and barely-there woods holding onto the memory of something tart, now vanished, yet not really. So understated, chic, and low-stakes pretty. A greenhouse in July—open windows, clean tiles, powder-dusted petals and a smear of citrus juice on glass. Very Prada. Very nice.

I absolutely love rhubarb, both to eat and to smell, and it's a note I'm only just starting to explore in perfumery. This fragrance captures that bright, green, tart character beautifully. It smells like freshly cut rhubarb straight from the garden, with a crisp, almost sparkling quality that feels very refreshing. Mmm gorgeous. I mostly enjoy wearing it in warmer weather... think a warm spring day in May. It's light, airy and easy to reach for, making it perfect for days when my heavier fragrances feel too much. Despite being a freshie, it doesn't ever come across as sharp. As it dries down, I pick up a soft musk in the base. It's slightly soapy and never animalic. I actually think the soapiness suits the fragrance well. Longevity is fairly fleeting, but hey, that's to be expected with a freshie. Would I buy the full bottle? Probably not. I'll enjoy this sample until she's gone and hunt for something with a juicier scent, jammier texture and greater longevity next time. The quest continues!

I tried this while I was on vacation, and it was probably one of the biggest surprises out of all the fragrances I've ever tried in my life. I don't like the taste of rhubarb, even though it's really nostalgic, but I like this! Infusion de Rhubarbe is my favorite from this collection. I found the rest of them to be way too soapy for my taste. On my skin this is a fresh rhubarb with a light, soft musk. I don't get any rose, the floral note here leans more towards something like peony to me. The rhubarb is still there in the dry down on my skin, although not as tart as in the opening, and it's not as soapy as the rest in this collection. Very pretty scent, perfect for the warmer months. I don't like soapy fragrances, I don't like rhubarb and I usually don't like white musk but I like this. Very weird, but also a nice surprise. The longevity is way better than what I thought, I get 5-6 hours on my skin and way longer than that on clothes. Intimate to moderate projection. 8/10.

Delivers exactly what it promises: rhubarb. Sweet, tart, clean, and candied rhubarb with a heavy hand of silken rose petals. Has that sparkling/carbonated texture to it, which I crave so much (adding to my growing file of “soda scents”). Similar to the grapefruit-rose seltzer of Odette by Gumamina, but this is much greener and does not have an ounce of powder. The aldehydes here add a sense of clarity to the juice, rather than any soapiness. I associate most “infusions” with flavoured water, but this potion wears pretty opaquely. I’m two days out from my last spritz and it’s still wafting strong on the cuffs of my jumper. It is linear, but I can’t fault it when it lands such a lovely note. Mental Snapshot: Prim and pretty, but in the most unhurried way. Gingham sundress, barefoot in the grass. Crisp red lip, windswept curls. Picking berries with fresh French tips. A giddy picnic party, for a Vogue photoshoot. tl;dr: rhubarbie 💄🦩

Imagine that magical clean/fresh/natural quality that is carried through all of the Prada Infusion fragrances with a prominent green and citrusy top note. Thats what my nose gets from this fragrance. I've smelled rhubarb and this lacks the subtle tart red/berry note my mental scent map associates with it. Its really nice and crisp--perfect for the hot dry summers in Central California. I really like it but not sure its work the price. ETA: Based on the reviews here comparing Prada to Hermes Eau de rhubarbe ecarlate, I decided to p/u Hermes. They are similar at the beginning but the Prada definitely has a watery green note in the dry down that the Hermes doesn't have giving it the fresh herbal quality you find in all of the Prada Infusion fragrances. Personally, if money were no object I would choose a full bottle of Prada over Hermes.

I just got this in the mail today and want to throw in my first impressions. I'll edit my review once I get to know it some more. It opens with a clean and citrus scent with noticeable rhubarb. It leans very fresh and clean, kinda soapy. More of fresh picked rhubarb than a rhubarb pie. Seems best for spring and summer weather and would do well in heat. It feels unisex yet I still feel women would prefer this over men. I asked my husband to spray it on without telling him what it was. He said it’s smelled soapy and is for women. Overall, there's nothing surprising about this scent if you look at the notes. Edit after more wear in the spring: In warmer weather, I notice stronger tartness, especially in the opening.

Too many fragrances today flirt with the line between perfume and dessert. Prada Infusion de Rhubarbe, however, belongs firmly on the vanity, not in the kitchen, despite its intriguing vegetal twist. Where Hermès Eau de Rhubarbe Écarlate moves from a jammy, fruity top note to a soapy musk base, Infusion de Rhubarbe takes a more linear path. It opens with the soft elegance of a floral powder puff, subtly laced with green rhubarb. The rhubarb note lingers through to the very end, giving the scent a linear structure that beautifully captures a refined feminine aesthetic.

This is a very light and fresh perfume, absolutely ideal for summer. The opening is a bit screechy to me, but that doesn't last long. After it dries down it's a clean and fresh smell, I could really feel the rhubarb in it. It's not extremely long lasting, but it's alright. I don't think I would purchase a full bottle of this, because I am not in love with it, but it can be great for people who like clean and airy scents.

Opening is like breaking open a fresh rhubarb stem. But as mentioned it teeters a bit on rosewater and maybe synthetic, if we’re being picky. But honestly it’s just like all of the Prada infusion scents in that it has that classy airy quality. On second smell it gives an old fashioned vibe, mostly because of the rose. It’s good, pleasant and doesn’t give me a headache!

When I first sprayed this I was so excited because it was PERFECT and exactly what I was looking for. An Hermes Eau de Rhubarbe Ecarlate adjacent scent that would hopefully have some longevity to it. However, the dry down is a no for me. Waaaay too soapy as stated in other reviews. So unfortunate. My search continues.

This is such a beautiful, cozy and comforting clean soapy fragrance, which is why, for me, this is a post-shower, post-spa, going to bed scent. Every note is done to the perfect degree to my nose.

Super crisp, tart and fresh. Aldehydic. I don't think I even like the taste of rhubarb, but this makes me want to take a bite out of one!

You have to love rhubarb for this one, imo. And I do.

To me, it’s Prada Infusion de Rose, plus a bitter citrus note reminiscent of grapefruit. They are much closer to Baby Doll by YSL than to Eau de Rhubarbe Ecarlate by Hermès. As I inhaled the juicy and joyful top notes, I thought I would love another composition from the Infusion series; unfortunately, they fade very quickly, evolving into a base characteristic of this series—elegant and reminiscent of an old-fashioned cream (like the classic Nivea from my childhood), in this case with the addition of a sharp synthetic musk molecule that I’m not fond of. Unfortunately, it has the poorest longevity of the Infusions I own; the top notes, which feature a distinct fruity note, last about 1 hour, then for about 4 hours the middle notes present a delicate fruity accord—after closely smelling my skin, I can indeed say it resembles rhubarb. After about 5 hours, one can only detect the bitter musky base with a hint of citrus. It disappears completely from my skin after about 9 hours. Regarding sillage: after a well-defined opening, the scent is rather close to the skin

opens incredibly juicy, sour, incredibly rhubarb forward. this was a gift for me, I am never a fruity or citrusy fragrance girl at all, so this opening is something I have to get accustomed to if I want to reach for this this upcoming summer. it has a candiness to it, typical from other Prada fragrances I've smelled. it could go commercial, but the sharp rhubarb makes it distinct enough where that fruity candiness doesn't directly remind me of walking into Macys. this is an elegant fragrance, a mature fruit that is not for young people, I at 25 feel I am just barely entering the club for this type of smell. it's giving country club, big hat, socialite lady on vacation. As a warm musk lover, I wiiiish it would settle a bit more, but honestly on me it remains totally fruity. could go pungent if I spray more than twice. I think if it dries down muskier in a few hours I would enjoy it more.

Opening is a bit too sweet and perfume-y for me. The rhubarb veers more towards the fruity/sweet side, and the scent isn't quite as airy as the rest of the Infusion line. I don't see rose in the notes, but the drydown is a solid rosewater scent. Much more floral and less sweet than when first applied. This is also where the citrus freshness appears on my skin. I do like the drydown, but am not a fan of this until it gets there.

At first, I thought it was a beautiful green scent that really captured the vibe of walking through a garden in the summer. But then the rhubarb note became "sour" and overpowering. I like From the Garden by Margiela, and I think this one has similar DNA, but something about it was off for me. If you like green scents, definitely give it a try though! I will try again in the future.

Smelled it at the airport. You have to really love rhubarb to like this one. I like rhubarb, I was obsessed with Burberry Red (sadly discontinued) once upon a time, but I find this quite sour and sharp. Not sweet at all, so I wouldn't buy it.

Tested on a whim during a pretty hot summer day. Surprising longevity, juicy opening with rhubarb front and center and gets more tart over time.

I haven't tried any rhubarb fragrances before so I didn't really know what to expect here. Unfortunately to me this was just very vegetal to me. I'm not sure if it's just this one or all rhubarb fragrances. It was also kind of rosy which while not listed in the notes, seems to be something many pick up. It was a light and airy fragrance that didn't get cloying despite being worn in a hot and humid environment. Performance was ok. Didn't really project on me but stuck around for several hours. Overall not a fragrance for me.

The initial spray was wonderful, smelled like fresh strawberry and rhubarb pie. However I found that fresh soapy note to be extremely floral and nauseating. As time goes on, the smell begins to smell like a dirty rag, similar to the dry down of baccarat rouge or burberry her. Probably just not for my skin.

The opening is pleasant, crisp and earthy but within an hour it starts to smell like beard stubble.

As a lover of Rhubarb, I tend to be a pretty harsh critic of its use in perfumes. When I know its a focus within a fragrance, I want it to be a true, real rhubarb, a balance between tart and slightly sweet, though naturally sweet and not sugared, a fresh and crisp fruity, not too jammy or syrupy, and honestly, Infusion de Rhubarbe might just be one of the most accurate ode's to the fruit I have come across, it is sublime and is an immediate hit of the spring/summer fruit right from the opening. There is something really classic, almost vintage to this scent but without the old-fashion geriatric side to it, I mean vintage elegance and timelessness. It beautifully balances a citrus freshness with a musky softness, a contrast which can often be quite polarising but here is masterfully composed. I adore it on my skin and reach for it immediately when I'm craving something uplifting, with fruity clarity and freshness.

This is the most clean girl, it girl perfume of all time. It smells so pretty, delicious and totally addictive. The first few moments after spraying are extremely bright and tart, nearly mouth watering, but after a few moments you get the rhubarb that is almost ethereal. It gives the same energy as miss dior blooming bouquet at first because of the citrus opening however, the rhubarb is so unique. But what makes this perfume so worth it is the dry down. That dry down is something special, whereas Miss Dior BB is all white musk in the dry down, Prada de Rhubarbe has that alluring musk but with more complexity in the aftermath because there are those notes of citrus and aldehydes in the bottom. This makes it more flavourful, especially with the middle note of rhubarb being reminiscent for a long-lasting while. It is so fun and perfect for every day, date nights, wedding guest perfume. Love love love 💕

I have a full bottle of Eau de Rhubarbe Ecarlate by Hermès, so that was always going to be my primary comparison. There are significant differences, so not totally redundant. But I would say it's redundant enough, unless you have a rhubarb-specific scent collection and welcome the various nuances in interpretation. Eau de Rhubarbe Ecarlate is quite a bit more tart, tangy, jammy, sour, bright and juicy, particularly in the opening and into the mid. They converge more into the drydown, but almost any two fragrances compared will converge at least a bit in the drydown. Rhubarb Ecarlate's red berries note evidently manifests and help give it a more vivid fruity experience. Infusion de Rhubarbe is more "watered off", and a bit more powdery in the drydown. Its nice, but I favor the vivid tartness of the Hermès more.
