I was genuinely surprised by the depth of this fragrance. It isn’t a fleeting, decorative rose that fades as quickly as it appears, a problem I’ve run into with countless rose perfumes. This one has presence. It stays, and more importantly, it evolves. You can tell that Prada was thoughtful here. Blending multiple rose varieties gives the scent a layered, almost living quality. As it warms on the skin, different facets of rose step forward, sometimes fresh and dewy, sometimes richer and more romantic, making the experience feel intimate and personal rather than static. Now, honesty matters: if you avoid rose perfumes because of their powdery drydown, this does eventually go there. Powder is part of rose’s DNA, and it’s rare to find a rose fragrance that escapes it entirely. But here, the powder feels soft and graceful rather than dusty or old-fashioned, like silk instead of talc. What truly sets this apart is its emotional range. It doesn’t belong to a specific age or stage of life. It’s crisp enough to feel fresh and relevant, yet smooth and comforting enough to feel familiar and reassuring. It bridges generations beautifully, something young enough to feel exciting, and gentle enough to feel safe. This is rose with a pulse. Thoughtful, dimensional, and quietly moving, the kind of perfume that reminds you why you fell in love with fragrance in the first place.

It's a rose that grows in a wild, overgrown garden, with nettle and ivy lurking in the shadowy parts. It's June, but the mornings are cool, and the mist is rising from a nearby pond, covering every surface with crystalline drops of dew. You go to pick up some mint for your breakfast tea. As you pass a bush of Rosa arvensis with your hands full of herbs, the sun rises from behind the trees, and the smells around you join into a vibrant symphony. Do I love this perfume? Yes, very much so. I might be used to a woodier rose, but this green herbal one is my go-to for summer. Even though there's plenty of freshness, there's also an appealing darkness to it, a weird balance of opposites that makes me reach for a spray after a spray. Despite seeming to vanish quicker than a pleasant dream, sometimes you'll catch an occasional whiff a day or a few later that'll leave you wondering: "now, where did that come from?" The only thing I do not like about Infusion de Rose is a pink design. It clashes with the perfume and is bound to make people expect far more sweetness or even fruitiness, where there's none to be found. The faerie drawing is spot-on, but be it in, say, a dark-green color scheme, it would leave a much more harmonious impression.

I debated whether or not I need this perfume in my collection given that I seem to have amassed quite a few rose-dominant fragrances over the years. (Rose and violet are in a very heated battle for my favorite note.) I justified this blind purchase as a way to complete my Prada Infusion d'... collection, and the super bargain price helped as well. This is a complete love for me. It's a rose unlike others I have smelled. This is not as feminine a rose as I'm used to wearing (like Rose the One, Eaudemoiselle, Paris). It has an edge - very green and moderately spicy. That's probably the mix of rose and mint I am smelling. To be honest, I was quite scared of the mint in this before purchasing but it turned out to complement the floral aspect beautifully. On my skin it turns quite soapy, which I adore. I think that Prada accidentally got a massive shipment of soap and said "What the heck! Put it all in the Infusion series." Lasting power is moderate, and I wear it year round much like I wear my other fragrances. If you can find it at a decent price, jump on it!

I started with a mini bottle of **Prada Infusion de Rose**, and now I’ve finally upgraded to the full bottle! This perfume lasts on my skin for what feels like 1-2 business days, which is impressive. While the sillage isn’t the strongest — it sits very close to the skin — that’s exactly what I like about it. It’s soft, non-intrusive, and never gives me headaches. This has become my go-to scent after taking a bath, and I love how it makes me feel like I’m wrapped in a garden of roses all day long. It’s like a personal, intimate scent, something you wear more for yourself than for others. I’m not sure how noticeable it is to people around me, but I can definitely smell it on myself throughout the day. What I really appreciate is how gentle it is; even someone with asthma could be around this fragrance without feeling overwhelmed. It’s light, airy, and has that classic rose water smell — simple but beautiful. Despite its softness, it sticks to my skin really well. All in all, I still love it, and I’m happy I went for the full bottle!

This is such a beautiful rose, very well behaved and classy. Truly, a simple Rose. It’s crystalline, to me. It evokes a very bright sunshiny morning, walking bare feet in a dewy and very well kept rose garden. When a perfume transports me other places just by smell, I know that it’s a keeper. This was a blind buy for me and I am thrilled to have it in my collection. If you are a Rose perfumes collector, it is worth a try. Longevity is mild but long enough to last 4 -5 hours. Sillage/Projection are poor to mild but I like it that way. Full Bottle worthy for Rose lovers!

I inhale and my eyes roll back as I put my hand to my chest. It's that breathtaking to me. At first sniff, it smelled just like my Olay Rose Body Wash. Fresh, clean and pretty. But upon that long, deep sniff, the rose, green leaves and mint come alive. It is what the definition of sparkling should be - bubbly and refreshing but not at all screechy or alcoholic. The scent reminds me of being in the spa of a 5-star hotel. I am reading reviews that this does not last long so I am content just carrying a bottle with my in my purse for frequent touch ups.

I'm a little anxious to try the Prada Rose now to see how it tests on me. Looking to purchase a couple roses this summer to add a rose to my collection. Being a fan to Prada, I only have the Prada Iris fusion and love it. But will be buying more for spring and summer of the Pradas. Was good to read your reviews; I'm slowly paying more attention and learning of all the notes and such. Whereas I never really did that before. Just dwell in the essence Ironically, I have a Siberian Husky named Prada, he's beautiful too !

I honestly don't find this much different than Paul Smith's Rose. This is pretty, but light. Doing a side by side they smell almost the same to my nose. The Paul Smith has better silage and longevity too. My bottle came in a regular green box like the other Infusion scents come in, and not the original box with the roses all over it, so I'm sure this has been reformulated. While it is pretty, it isn't $80 pretty (on the grey market, higher elsewhere). I think I'll just continue to get my rose fix from Paul Smith.

Wow, what have we here? A really pretty green, sweet rose! Does not smell artificial at all. When I spray it I have to think about fine English people watching horse races and having a walk in the rose gardens while drinking honey-sweet tea. Then it also reminds me of those happy summer garden festivals I used to visit in royal gardens here in Germany. Wearing this perfume is so pleasant... :) All in all a very bright, spring-like and expensive smelling scent!

Has a guy a love this perfume on a woman. Rose and orange are a wonderful combination. Value for money the Infusion collection is really good. The bottles are beautiful. The perfume feels special because of the bottle design and smells very nice due to the high quality ingredients. I bought a bottle for myself. A similar perfume is MFK la rose. It is more expensive and more Refined. But it costs more money.

Wowowow so pretty. Need. Love at first wear. A v feminine soft cloud of fresh rose with a soapy but not too soapy note that’s makes this v clean girl Barbie lipstick cloud.. wantwant Edit: I bought. Seems like it makes me queasy in humidity. In the crisp air it’s fine but right now in the rainy season I can’t wear it. Edit 2: seems like the weather is less humid and this is all I’ve been wearing 💕 so lovely

This was a blind buy and a very successful one. I dont get mint at all just soft roses mixed with clean powder and some honey. It starts strong but its staying power leaves much to be desired. I tend to be heavy handed with this one and it doesn't matter since less than 2 hours later you would never know how hard I dabbed it on.

Oh I'm totally in love with this! It's divine! The rose is superb. It's beautiful. Gorgeous. Oh my. The most perfect rose perfume I've ever smelt. I just melt when I wear it. I fall in love with myself, and just love breathing myself in, all day, and night (I wear it to bed too). It so lovely. Bliss.

It cound have been the best rose perfume for me, except that it doesn't last long. It's a fresh and delicate scent - just like the fresh roses in bloom. Despite it's weak longevity and sillage, I will continue using and buying this until I find one that smells like fresh roses with good performance.

I love this scent but it’s probably my weakest perfume, I rarely get hit by the smell after 2 hours. It sits close to skin but it has such a beautiful natural and classy smell. If you don’t mind only being noticed by people who hug you then this perfume will be great for you.

I just love this scent. It ́s clealy a rose scent, but it ́s not a "nice" rose, it has something darker in it. Not a heavy or overwhelming scent, - still in the fresh end of perfume notes. A very "clean" scent.

It smells like miss dior 2012 This perfume is what i called “floral done right” It’s uplifting fresh and feminine with good lasting power .. if you want spring scent that smells classy you need this💜

Oh god I think this one is just so gorgeous. Think a very light turkish delight rose, but one that isn’t too sweet; and soap. That’s what this smells like. Soft, feminine, delightful.

This perfume is like a bouquet of roses just bloomed! It's so fresh and floral, with a hint of sweetness from the honey. Perfect for spring or summer days.

Continuing with another fragrance review for Valentines Day. Prada Infusion Rose is like a New Dawn Climbing Rose. This is a nice white pink rose that is best enjoyed outside while reading or enjoying tea. The smell of Prada Infusion Rose is softer and gentler than that of most rose scents. Its not uncommon for people to declare their dislike of the note. Prada has a really interesting line in their Infusion scents where they use infusion to extract scent into their fragrance rather than by traditionally blending oils into a base such as perfumers alcohol. I find that the infusion line across the board gives me a lighter and more polite approach to a fragrance. The mate in this fragrance greens it up and as such you get a garden rose experience rather than something cut and vased. It literally is a scent that belongs on a trellis. The citrus and mint give it a bright sunny feel that sparkles a bit and the honey adds a touch of sweet. Performance and sillage are gentle with this one. Usually, I would complain about such things underperforming but there are plenty of rose scents that last for ages and you can smell in the next county. Prada with their infusion line wanted to present high quality fragrances for people who want a fragrance that doesnt shout. And I feel that it might be appealing to the refined grown up who can listen with a smile. Value is disappointing. Prada hit the bullseye when they first came out with the Infusion line and this came out between the launch and the cut off date of 2012/2013 when reformulations and sad flankers started cheapening the line. It has been discontinued and is now getting hard to find. Going to the store, sampling it, and deciding on a purchase is now unlikely. You can still buy it but prices are climbing daily and its now a $30 an ounce purchase and mostly found on ebay which I view as being high for designer. I would like to have seen this one in continuous production rather than some of the other new disappointments they have come out with in the last couple of years but so goes the perfume industry. I will have to downgrade this in my ratings for value. Usage for me on this one is light. If I waited until the bottle was half empty before reviewing it then it would most likely be gone from shelves and/or selling on Ebay for $100 an ounce like Gucci Envy. This is one that I want to keep for awhile because I have not seen anything like it and yet buying a replacement bottle when mine is gone will be pretty much be out of the question. Overall, Im going to grade this one out at 76 or a tick above average. And I freely admit that Ive knocked it down a half grade or tick more because of price and availability. I think its worth $90-$100 or whatever full retail price was on it. I wouldnt suggest to anyone to pay extra. In fact, I dont suggest anyone buy or not buy anything that I review. It is enough to present information and let you make up your own mind. If the prices keep rocketing skyward and command a premium over retail then I would suggest this rating be considered a 71. And if one could find a deal or money was no object to them then feel free to consider this graded out at 81-82 and solidly regarded as good. But 76 seems right for something less wearable because its "rare". Most people who experience roses will do so with cut roses or roses found in a vase or brought into the home. When buying such things, big brightly colored flowers, stream into view. But there is also something wondrous about exploring a garden or taking the time to grow roses on a trellis or a book and patio tea. Prada Infusion Rose is not like the other roses. Its not a big huge screeching let your neighbors know you are wearing rose kind of perfume. It is refined, and quiet, and polite as if to add a little rosy outlook to your life, but in a fresh manner. PIR is bright and sparkly and yet mature with a clutched sense of wonder and imagination and joy. This is not a pale pink body mist for girls. It is a refined perfume that holds maturity and respect for quality. Its is a summer day rose perfume for wearing when others would be too loud or citrus and aquatic fragrances seem lost at sea. Prada Infusion holds onto a sense of rose and happiness and it is light and airy and shower fresh. It is a rose to be enjoyed by the polite and quiet who roam unnoticed and yet fully charge life with the unexpected, but do it with a lovely pale pink innocent grin and sparkle in their eyes. It spreads its vine around a sense of life.

i just received this perfume for valentine’s day from my boyfriend bc i really wanted it...mainly bc the BOTTLE😍 i never smelled it before but based off the notes (im a rose lover) i decided id give it a shot. he ordered it off of fragrancenet.com for around $90 so $100 off retail price is $190!!! when i first smelled it i get straight up greenery aroma like clean minty leaf in a way and then as it sits and dries down it’s turns into a beautiful fresh pure clean citrusy rose! it definitely caught me off guard when i first smelled it but the dry down is very lovely and i like it! definitely something to be worn in the spring & summer months. i would say if you’re expecting a sweet artificial rose this is NOT for you. it’s not sweet if anything it’s on the bitter side and has a more natural aroma. so if that’s up you’re alley then i say go for it! the bottle is also just a 100/10! it’s absolutely gorgeous and it looks great on my makeup vanity & matches my aesthetic so well. the longevity is pretty nice id say around 6-8 hours!! overall i’d give it a 8.5/10 the only con is that i don’t like the initial first green note at first but i do like this fragrance.

Originally posted several mins ago on the IdP 2017 page (which should be titled EDT). This page is about EDP, a sample of which I have, as I just realized reading the vial again. Ok, now. Wearing this on my wrist and with my nose close to it, I don’t like it. But if I don’t actually try to smell it up close, I get subtle wafts of mint (and maaaybe some flowery scent too), a very delicate and translucent mint, which has zero citrus in it, a surprise considering the notes list, and a rare quality. Testing from the original sample because of the rose, but in the presence of this lovely mint I don’t care about the rose anymore, which btw I don’t even perceive as a flower here; it is rather a concept of a rose scent. The mint is the queen here. I will be testing more, maybe purchase the smallest bottle if this zero citrus mint is consistently present.

Infusion de Rose delivers almost realistic fragrance of a rose stalk. You can smell not just the main star, the flower itself but you may as well get a hint of its stalk, sepal, leaf, bud and whatnots. It's a bit green, but the greenness makes the rose smell so realistic. The brilliant blend of mint really brings out the all-inclusive smell of a rose stalk and makes it whole. You could imagine strolling a rose garden after the rain. This is fresh, and inoffensive as the smell is very light and watery. It doesn't stay long enough to your liking. Layering it with other rose smelling perfume might help elevate your olfactory experience and make it last longer but keep in mind this juice will not stand a chance to become the main character as it's very soft and light.

This 100% reminds me of Inis Arose, which I loved and used up a whole bottle of years ago after purchasing it on a trip to Ireland. Very happy to have this in my collection because it reminds me of my travels there. This is a green rose mixed with beeswax and mint, and the combination is like walking through a garden after rain. It would be a great fragrance year round and in any season, although it seems rather casual to me and therefore would recommend it as a daytime fragrance rather than evening/formal. This is something I could see wearing in the spring with a light sweater and jeans while going for a drive in the countryside. If you are a rose lover, this will delight you.

A light and sophisticated rose scent for summer and tropical countries. Despite being a scent for hot climate, this is different from the usual summer staples of citrus, aquatic, fresh scents. On me it is a very natural, light rose in a dewy green garden in the early morning. Like the rest of the line, longevity isn't impressive and the scent sits close to the skin. It is ok, the Infusion line has never meant to be a show-stopper but rather a very polished, calm, elegant one. You can't offend anyone with such subdued beautifulness. Give it a try. I should also say I've never been a fan of rosy perfumes.

I don't like Rose-scents but here I do - alot! But I sneeze when I spray this one on my skin. Lovely fresh roses with a nice mint, tea and Mandarin Orange mix. The perfect summerscent, I must say. I really must say the Rose/tea/mint- mix is wonderful. Very fresh and perfect for hot weather. Jag gillar inte Ros-dofter men denna är underbar! Tyvärr så nyser jag enormt när jag bär Infusion de Rose. Ljuvligt fräscha rosor med en mix av te,mint och mandarin. Perfekt sommardoft i mitt tycke. Jag måste säga att jag verkligen gillar Ros/te/mint-mixen, superb för varma sommardagar.

Tested today. I liked it on the spot! Not usual for me. It smells mostly of bulgarian rose, very nice for all rose lovers, but the whole composition is quite crispy and fresh, like spraying a good rosewater on your face. Mint is very present. The whole fragrance goes from rose to mint and back in a few seconds. Honestly I can't smell much of the other notes. This is basically a fresh minty luscious rose and very summery. I'm only disappointed that it fades away quite fast. The bottle is very beautiful, happy, romantic and positive!

After long vicissitudes i have found it: not at all what I thought it was. Indeed, as first impressions knows bleach. As already written by others will not look like any other perfume rose-centered, and doesn't want to be an attractive or delightful scent, or perhaps can't be. Very mint tea, and other notes that clash at the end of the rose, a rose freshly severed. Beautiful packaging, almost romantic, and in contrast with the rather pungent and watery smell . Definitely cool, stunning in its own way.

Though a scent that at first sniff smells like it should be for spring and summer but it works much better in the fall with my skins chemistry. I find in the heat it just sweats off and does not last very long. Gorgeous soapy rose, smells slightly dewy and aquatic. I really love how aromatic and green this scent is. It smells very luxurious and clean, the notes of rose and mint really shine through to make a gorgeous crisp soapy rose, does not smell edible or sweet so not for gourmand lovers.

What a pleasant little treasure this perfume is. Very simple but that is it's strength. Fresh blooming pink roses, the green of a late spring morning while drinking a nice herbal cup of tea w/ honey on your porch to begin a brand new day. It really smells just like that. It is the type of scent to wear to make you feel that anything is possible and life is good. Very natural smelling. I bought a decant travel spray to give it a good try and I am not disappointed. This is full bottle worthy.

I love the sleekness of the bottle and I love rose scents, so I got a sample to see if this would be a possible buy. It is a green rose scent, definately fresh and clean. Most of my preferred rose perfumes lean on the sweet side so this was a very pleasant surprise. It is not for someone who wants their perfume to fill the whole room or to demand attention, it is more quiet and intimate. I would definitely recommend testing and not blind buying but for me it is a yes.

I was able to pick this up at a discount retailer and I was delighted because I never had the chance to smell it when it first came out. It was a blind buy. When I first sprayed it, there was a rush of Rose then it got softer. It was nice. Hours later the scent reminded me of something that I had in the past. It took me hours to recall. It finally came to me this smells like Kate Mose only stronger. It's a pleasant scent, nice for Work, church, and Sunday brunches.

I just got a decant of this and WOW. I'm in love. Its so light, fresh, and rosey but still interesting and unique. But this does not last at all :(. I suspect it'll perform better in warmer weather isn't that warm yet so I'll keep testing it out, but I still love this even to smell for a couple of hours. I find it interesting how everyone in the reviews has slightly different descriptions and vibes for this scent as well.

I'm not the sort of girl who loves the best-seller perfumes from luxury brands, I like their niche scents-- this fragrance reminds me of why Prada is Prada. It has a gentle gravitas that says "I know what I'm doing." The rose scent is not grandma-y or dated, it's fresh, youthful, and feminine. It is the best rose scent I have ever smelled. This is a classic scent in my collection and boys in particular fawn over it.

Infusion de Rose is a fresh sheer rose that is uplifted with a light touch of mint. I like that it doesn't have any patchouli or sandalwood in it. On me it wears like an EDT and becomes a skin scent after an hour or two. It reminds me of a rose perfume that I used to wear a lot. It was L'Occitane Roses et Reines and has since been discontinued. I have used up my small bottle of Infusion de Rose and I enjoyed it.

This is for the clean frag loving girlies. This is a fresh, green rose. It smells like a bar of rose soap. Subtle and soft, but if you overspray it, it’s offensive and it loses its charm. Absolutely perfect for spring. I immediately feel clean when I wear it.

Probably the best baby pink rose fragrance there is. I get the light fresh minty feeling but it's also kind of milky/lactonic/creamy and slightly musky and soapy (like most rose fragrances). Reminds me of rose ice cream (delicious). Simple and beautiful.

Very pleasant scent, soft and with hints of cucumber brine and orange, which is why it reminds me of "Un Jardin Sur Le Nil" by Hermès. I'm not a fan of rose, but here it's just a subtle hint. Could even be a unisex fragrance.

Very pretty and polite. I'd love it if the mint or beeswax would make a showing, but I don't detect much more than soft rose here. It is quite a classy, natural rose, though.

It’s a nice floral one but very weak, I just used a sample and could barely smell it after 5 minutes

Very pretty scent. This is a fresh, green rose. I get quite a bit of the mint which I love. As much as I love the scent, it is very soft, so if you are looking for a strong, long lasting rose, this probably isn't what you are looking for. However the price is right. Bought a 200mL bottle for $100. I'll be spraying this a lot when it starts getting warmer. I think layering this over an oil is the way to go. I have the Ellis Brooklyn "Myth" body oil and the two pair so well together. Both are fresh and clean scents, but the Myth oil adds some muskiness and this adds a touch of green rose. Plus the oil makes this last a little longer. I love the scent, but the longevity and sillage are keeping this from being a staple in my collection.

There is a couple of the Infusions I find less pleasant than Infusion de Rose but I find this one to be my least favorite due to weak character. This perfume is thin with an overly bitter citrus. There is a soft powderiness, like all the Infusions. All these elements combined together I echo other's thoughts of this smelling like a rosy handsoap. Projection is about an inch to begin with fades over time. This perfume doesn't smell the same to me day to day at least on my skin. On occasion I do find it to have a beautiful rosewater/citrus scent with a green earthy undertone, but other times the mint is overpowering. I suspect weather conditions play a part. But most of the time, it's rosy handsoap.

It's not bad, but on me I get very little rose. In fact it's mostly mint and herbal tea (which I believe is the maté). Very fresh, but I was certainly disappointed because I expected something a lot more rose-centric. I would still use up my miniature though.
