Infusion d'Homme

Now that the dust has settled on the first decade of this century, I find it easier to think about Infusion d'Homme in relation to what it captures for me, and how much I've remembered it. Among mainstream releases marketed to men, it is one of the best of that decade. I recall trying it many times at stores together with other perfumes, and its smell was always lost on the test strip: I simply couldn't smell anything in the olfactory cacophony of other perfumes sprayed in the same environment. A few years down the line I tried it from a small decant, received due to the courtesy of a Basenotes friend. I was struck by its soft-hazy yet clear form. It reminded me of Mugler Cologne because of the soap; however, while Mugler was fun and uplifting, Infusion d'Homme was sombre and introspective. I found it to bear some similarities with Bois d'Argent, in part because of the iris and the myrrh, and in part because of their personalities. Years later when I'd sampled Iris de Nuit, I found they sometimes speak in the same language, but always tell different stories. Infusion d'Homme was always compared to Prada Amber pour Homme, and they had many similarities, both being fresh, interesting and reminiscent of soap, but with one key difference: Amber pour Homme was warm and friendly, while Infusion d'Homme was cool and aloof. If you like Christian Dior's aesthetic of pale greys and pastel pinks, Infusion d'Homme could be for you. I find it soft yet gently persistent, with notes of clean iris, a light and moody incense, and a touch of myrrh; they together manage to create something airy, and an accord that is a dead ringer for soap. A good quality bar of white soap; very simple but quintessentially chic and androgynously beautiful. Yet, the most unique feature of this scent is its subtlety, and that, it is inoffensive and always appropriate; and another very interesting aspect is that it is clean, soapy yet shyly sensuous and intimate, while completely shunning any conventional notes used for such effects. On my skin it sits quietly with soft occasional wafts, and duration is moderate at about six hours. It's been one of my most worn scents, and it's been uplifting in the heat and comforting when cold. I once read a comment on a blog post about Infusion d'Homme: "young people, especially single, could use this". For some reason, those words have stayed with me; maybe because I did use it quite a bit in my twenties. These days I find it more calming than before; it reminds me of the cacophony that it got drowned in, and I connect it to the cacophony of a world that gets messier each day. It doesn't solve life's problems, but it is comforting. If I weren't nuts, I'd have worn it everyday. 4.5/5 P.S. Infusion d'Homme has been discontinued. I have tried Infusion d'Iris Cedre on paper and on skin, and it is at least 98% identical. I attribute the difference of 2% to my vivid imagination. The prices are not identical.

Over-all smell - 7.5/10 : Complex yet Phenomenal smell like clean clothes with a bath of flowers; iris-neroli-vetiver powdery fresh scent trail but these statement doesn't seem give equity because of it's mysterious & magical character. It isn't exactly masculine in its soul but it would reflect the freshness and energy as it transports the image of cleanliness and optimism. Many might like it and I didn't find objectionable but it exudes luxury and modernity. (+) * Niche quality; perfecty well-balanced * Impressive longevity; 7-9 hours * Arguably the most perfect work-scent ever * A masterpiece for every soap lover complexity. * One of the best all-year round fragrances and the more wearing it gets the more it grows on you. * Not the loudest, most noticeable, or the strongest out there, but, if you enjoy wearing a work-scent that turns heads and it exudes for smelling clean without smelling like your trying. * For the ones who wants to balance the charm and class with broad appeal to the ladies; this is the fragrance for you. The most appealing thing is when it dries down; rich, yet smooth. This deserves to be on every man's collection. Versatility - 9/10 : Feeling also like putting on a fresh white shirt' or fresh out of the shower feeling. Great on college and professional guys and occasions like business meetings and job interviews. Easy for a night out or just laying around in fresh sheets. Great to wear in the Summer and Spring! (-) * Somewhat atrocious soap, unworthy, cloying can gives nausea to others. * Vain, uptight, and self-conscious personality. * It's blasting yourself in the face with rubbing alcohol. * Too sweet! It makes you smells like a teenage girl! * This fragrance might work for you if you smelled it on someone else standing on the other side of the room. * Lacking of character - cold quality * Bergamotto Marino and Mugler Cologne offer with much more character - fresher and sportier even some of the "Gendarme" & Dior Homme works better. * Somebody said IDH is latter way inferior to the first (Prada Infusion d'Iris) due to the fact that it's sharp and unsophisticated and its silage is horrible and a clean soupy home fragrance - laundrish - air refreshener that stinks way too much. It opens with a blast of soda and dries out flat-boring, starch and shampoo aroma that is better suited for collectors of strange odors, rather than practical cologne wearing gentleman and it lingers as unsuccessfully cheap soaps. Maybe that's what really ruins. It seems like it's trying so hard to be the beacon of perfectly composed male grooming, that it kind overdoes it, like a guy who spends too much time on his hair and gets frequent manicures instead of just clipping his nails. Love or Hate, but who cares? Definitely a masterpiece. 8/10

I remember the first time I tried this perfume, I was amazed by how great and clean it was. Reminded me of the most luxurious soap on earth. I had to have it for sure, as I enjoy soapy scents, but the overall effect was really simple. I got a big bottle recently, and all I can say is that the more I wear it, the more I love it. I have to say this: the men marketed perfumes in the designer range is incredibly disapointing for me, and it's getting worse (I can't find anything I love in the most recent launches). I'm having the opportunity to test some niche and vintage perfumes, and how many great discoveries I've been doing! And that's what's been making me less tolerant to the lack of creativity and overall quality of most of those perfumes. It's part of the process of being here in Fragrantica and discovering new experiences, I guess. However, ladies and gentlemen, there is still some hope. Infusion d'Homme has for sure one of the best qualities regarding the choice of ingredients out there, and it's better than many niche, so I recommend everyone to test it as soon as possible. Iris has always been one of my favorite notes, if not my favorite: it's earthy, powdery, crisp and mysterious. Infusion d'Homme is a gorgeous interpretation on that note: the iris is combined with refreshing neroli and mandarin orange to give it a sparkling effect. The vetiver sets a smooth and polished woody base, and the incense gives it a soft smoky opaque feeling. Benzoin warms and sweetens up, just a bit, since this is not a sweet perufme by any means. This is extremely complex. Which might be strange to those who only smell the soapy scent and let those wonderful elements vanish, like they're not there. Well, if you smell carefully, you may distinguish all the notes and stages of this perfume, but you have to test it more times, as I only smelled soap as well the first time. It's very polished, sophisticated, simple and elegant, and one of the things I love the most about it is the fact that it's absolutely versatile. It manages to be a safe choice (as it's not intrusive) as well as an extremely interesting one. Most occasions and weathers would go well with this perfume and you'll smell effortlessly chic. Classic and modern at the same time. It lasts greatly on my skin, although the sillage is not strong. It's not a loud perfume, and it's not supposed to be. It's smooth and suave. And that's something you won't find many times in the department stores. Also, lovingthealien's review is spot on.

This is soapy. Yes, pretty much everybody said that already, but that's really the one-word definition of Infusion d'Homme. However, this is as well-made expensive soap smell as there is in a designer perfumery range, and even in the niche range I know. The pyramid is quite simple. Opening of citruses and, mostly, neroli, paves the way to a gentle iris heart. The iris note is of a soapy, powdery variety, compared to a waxy, lipstick-like iris I usually find in designer perfumery. The base adds a touch of incense and faint woods and a general feeling of muskiness. All those notes, in conjunction, make this perfume feel like a liquid, bottled white linen shirt. Pretty much, a definition of cleanness. Now, I don't know how enthusiastic all this may sound, but, to me, it's so outrageously good. It bodes well with every situation when you want to make a subtle impression rather than a strong, screaming one - it's ideal for a workplace, for a walk, for any romantic meeting, especially in hotter, summer or spring days. Women can wear this one as much as men can, as it's, note-wise, pretty genderless, but I feel like it's tailor-made for gentlemen. White shirt and jeans are what comes to my mind as an ideal outfit to wear this one, but it mostly doesn't matter, you can wear it with anything, anytime. Five years have passed since I had and, pretty much, rejected a sample of this little wonder right here. Through those years I found a whole new level of appreciation for this kind of smell, and right now I find those soapy scents a must-try. When I returned to this one, I fell in love with it for the first time, but I don't think that will end any time soon. Along with Narciso Rodriguez for Him Musk, this is my favorite clean, gentlemanly scent. 9.25/10

It’s difficult for me to express just how much I love this scent. Everything about it is just right. It’s classic and modern at the same time, and the quality is just amazing. The associations with soap and powder are definitely there, but there is so much more to this fragrance. The top notes are an intense soapy neroli and tart citrus which, combined with the massive dose of irones present, come off as fizzy and refreshing. Quickly, the heart emerges as a beautiful, sunny iris. It’s utterly weightless, and plays at the edge of earthy and powdery while never falling completely into either. Beautiful, perfectly dosed Somali incense and vetiver take what could have been the dirge that is Apres l’Ondee or Iris Silver Mist and make the composition playful and fun. The drydown, for once, is actually the best part! A tinge of musk and orange blossom warms up the olibanum, frankincense, and orris, keeping the whole thing deliciously warm for hours. I think this fragrance compares quite favorably to the far more expensive (and surely higher quality) Iris Silver Mist, Apres l’Ondee, and Hiris. It certainly blows 28 La Pausa, Irissime, and Iris Poudre out of the water. Although I can’t attest to the amount of genuine iris in this fragrance, this absolutely reeks of iris. I will say that this fragrance is, hands down, the very best masculine designer release of the past ten years. It has perfectly elegant sillage, lasts forever, and is very wearable in all but the most humid weather.

There might have been a time when perfume was used to cover all kinds of musty body odours. When washing (for different reasons) was not in fashion, and a bug-eaten scalp could be hidden under a spectacular wig. It is tempting to suggest Infusion d'Homme to be the perfect requisite for that era. Fragile flowers, powder, talcum, slightly antiseptic and very soapy. The bottle could have been stolen from some wooden medical cabinet, brought to a syphilitic king by his coughing royal physician. No, sorry for spinning away. Infusion d'Homme might smell like the perfect replacement for a morning shower. Personally it evokes a feeling of standing wrapped in a thick white towel, in the bathroom of a three stars Lisboa hotel room. Clean, white with dark wooden floors. The door is open and the smell of bed linens mix with the little soap bar unwrapped from its printed white paper cover. In that intense feeling of cleanliness, it could be tempting to take a shortcut. And Infusion d'Homme might just be able to carry one through the day (longevity is office hours safe) and block that musty smell steaming from an unwashed body. But experience and evolution have thauhgt man on the importance of personal hygiene. And why miss that moment of pleasure? As long as water is still pouring down on earth, Infusion d'Homme should enhance cleanliness, not replace it. As such it is, in my humble opinion, pristine.

Scent: 10 This was my favourite perfume during some years. I LOVE It as most of iris based perfumes. In this case the combination with the neroli, the Resines and the mandarines gives to the iris a fresh and clean chaescter. It smells a bit like a very floral soap or like recently washed clothes. I felt very sad when they decided yo disconuate It. I hace bought one bottle of the 'new' iris-cedre infusión and though It is similar i can feel the pack of the vetiver and at the same time It lasts leas than this old edt, even being an edp. Longevity: 8 This perfume lasts about 5 hours on my skin and almost a whole day on clothes. Sillage: 6 It has a good projection during the first two hours, although It is a very soft and discreet perfume. After that It becomesa skin scent. Quality/price: 8 I used yo buy It for 60€/200ml which os a very good price for this perfume. The new versión (infusión d'iris ceder) costs 90€/200ml with a worse performance versatility: 8 As the soft perfume It is, this perfume os quite versatile. I woulndnt use It yo go out because nobody os going to realize on It, but smelling as clean clothes It can be wore at any time. Perfect as a daily scent with warm weather. I find It totally unisex, even having been named 'd'homme' (th new eso is unisex and infusión d'iris very similar but with less wood, is suposed yo be for women). Global: 8

I want to pay a tribute to this little marvel which has been part of my favorites for quite a while now. I absolutely love Infusion d'Homme. First thing: it is not a fragrance that smells like 'perfume'. It is actually a beautiful, discreet scent that is meant to be worn like a white silk shirt: sparkling and slightly fizzy in the opening, it turns into a powdery, neither fresh or warm, soapy and 'baby powder' like scent. In fact, Infusion d'Homme mixes so well with my chemistry that most people who compliment me just think that I've had a good shower with a little soap, or that my laundry products smell amazingly good. It is also one of the few fragrances out there that I feel completely comfortable wearing. Infusion d'Homme is the exact opposite of the "loud'n'sweet cologne of mr tries-too-hard". It actually reminds me of a very expensive soap bar coming from a luxury hotel in Paris. Longevity is great (solid 10 hours) and projection is moderate/soft. It lingers around you like a second skin and lasts clothes for several days. Infusion d'Homme is an easy to wear, cozy, neutral, clean and adorable fragrance, with premium quality ingredients. Absolutely unisex also. One of my "spray and go" fragrance thanks to its excellent versatility, it's even scientifically proven that I sleep much better with a spray of Infusion d'Homme in my neck!

I've had this fragrance for about a year and half. At first, to be honest I was underwhelmed. I thought it was nice and clean but maybe too bitter? Maybe not enough sweetness or depth? So I put it away for about a year or so. Just pulled this out to wear it again today. And wow, I changed my mind. This is such a gentle, clean, subtle, and classy Iris fragrance. In comparison to fragrances like Prada L'homme, it doesn't have the sweetness or the depth. But, this is more bright, and powdery floral. Even more clean than Prada L'homme. There is something peppery in here and a bitterness which, in the high heat can come out in a way that is less flattering. I just think it does better on a warm day, not a hot day. Definitely would not be good in the cold or evening either. Prada L'homme is probably more likable to more people. It's an alluring and beautiful scent. This one, sadly discontinued, is a sleeper. This one would be more under the radar. More interesting. Super clean. More powdery. Almost like fresh laundry. For most people, I wouldn't go hunt down a bottle. Like I said Prada L'homme is more likable to more people which is why they discontinued this one and continue to market that one. But if you really appreciate Iris and you can find this at a reasonable price, I would say you won't regret it if you like powdery Iris.

Some may disagree with me about this, but Infusion D'Homme is one of the best designer scents made in the last 10 years imo. I love this scent and own a flacon of it. How does one hate smelling like expensive soap? better yet...How does one hate smelling clean? lol...Maybe this isn't the scent for some but its a masterpiece to me. This scent is truly Niche quality and can be owned for under $100. I like Irish Spring in a bottle (Mugler cologne) too, but Infusion isn't your Walgreen/pharmacy type soap or typical GYM scent. It is just next level. While anything is unisex these days, this scent leans unmistakably masculine. It lasts and projects well- especially for its genre. I get 8 hours typically and always carry an atomizer of it in my pocket... I really love that its a fragrance you can wear year round. It's very versatile and since it's also colorless I know it won't stain my clothes. If I want more Umph I'll add a couple sprays to my t shirt or the collar of my jacket. Unlike a prior reviewer I don't find this cloying at all. To me its blended to perfection. I respect that every nose is different but to me Infusion D'Homme isn't your typical soapy frag. It's THE soapy frag... I layer this with Fahrenheit in the Spring. 10/10

This is amazing. Honestly. This is the best soapy/powdery (not iris-y though) fragrance on the market in my opinion. Others have said about the babypowder quality, and they're right, but this is the most expensive luxurious babypowder in existence. You get a big wallop of powder flanked by other notes, which I can't quite discern what they are. I've always loved Prada the brand, L'homme was great, with intense being one my my favourite soapy fragrances, but this honestly beats both of them, including Amber Pour Homme. The performance on this is great too! It lasts all day which is interesting for such a fresh/powdery fragrance. This would be a great alternative to a citrus fresh fragrance in the summer, that has the staying power and lasts on clothes. If you've ever tried Comme Des Garcons 'Marseille' which takes the route of a fresh bar of Marseille soap; this fragrance takes that and Prada L'homme and puts them both together. In terms of the other versions of this, I've heard that Infusions d'cedre is the same? I didn't want to take the risk so hunted this down and couldn't be happier. 9/10 for me. It's THE staple soapy fragrance.

well...first time in my life I have such soapy perfume -I have been wondering how this perfume smells in reality (not only how I could imagine this fragrance after reading some perfume reviews...). So I found two days ago inexpensive sales proposal of Prada Infusion on some auction/trading website and I bought it. I read on the label the notes: Tunisian Neroli, Iris Pallida, Vetiver, Cedarwood, Incense, Benzoin....where is the soap...:-)..??..how the soapy smell will be created? ...And in the same day evening I sprayed a couple times on my clean body and after 1-2 minutes I had the feeling that I didn't use the perfume but I rubbed some incredibly expensive and refined soap in my body. I don't know how but the mix of mentioned ingredients has created the "Soap in the bottle" You will not feel the smell of iris or vetiver or incense - only pure, luxurious soap without any additional fragrance. If you like the smell of the soap - like me - you will be extremely satisfied -if not -you'll sell it like that man who sold me it at a very good price:-). Longevity & sillage & versatile - perfect.

Probably the best soapy clean fragrance for a man ever made imho, considering the price/value. This is the one that first planted the fragrance loving seed for me (long before I went down the niche road). I remember just casually visiting a fragrance stand while waiting for family in a department store and trying a few out, but this one just stopped me in my tracks as soon as it hit my nose. I bought it on the spot, and it was my signature fragrance for about 5 years from then on. It doesn't do much more than emulate the smell of a high quality lotion infused bar of soap with a top end of a great mandarine note. So you smell super clean without it feeling synthetic or cloying at all for a full day. The other infusions are also good (I like Amande in particular) but they do lean more towards a feminine fragrance on the whole imho. If you can't find a bottle of Infusion d'Homme in the field given its discontinuation I can recommend Penhaligons Castille which is a bit different but also great fragrance along the soap bar lines.

it really smells like a luxury soap. in the opening u can fell some neroli, some iris, then cedar... it's very soapy, not in a cheap or unpleasant way, it seems to be a well blended, high quality product. u cant resist to smell your wrist again and again, it's simple and gorgeous. It's also very elegant and it can be easily worn by any gender. good for work, casual or formal occasions, performance is good, i cant complain about it. if u love the clean sensation of a nice, luxury soap grab it if u can, it's very hard to find now. In my opinion Infusion d'iris cedre is different, they are not the same scent. Infusion d'homme sa di sapone di lusso, di pulito, di fresco. È elegante e raffinato, se vi piace il genere prendetelo assolutamente. È fuori produzione, quindi non sarà facile trovarlo.. This one was one my earliest signatures scents. One of my first loves. I have a lot of memories with this one. An ex-boyfriend (who did not treat me well) once admonished me for wearing it. He would associate it with me, be excited, but once turned around to find an older Italian gentleman instead. This fragrance is probably why I am still in love with vetiver to this day. As someone who does not necessarily focus on clean or powdery scents overall, this is probably my most favourite clean/soapy fragrance. I have not found one quite like it with its delicate mix and air without being plain or boring. Lovely. It was surprisingly long lasting and offered good sillage. I am sad that it has been discontinued. I have not had time to try its replacements but I will look into it. I admire the ethos that Prada and Andrier has with this line. This scent will always have a special place in my heart.

This scent is a sleeper. Period. Certainly not common in today's market. I put this on for the first time after a stressful day at work, and it instantly relaxed me. There is something so calming and comforting in this scent—it's so soft and rejuvenating—but I really can't put my finger on what! The florals? The powder? The slow evolution on my skin throughout the day? I don't know... but it's effects are worth every penny I paid to get my hands on a bottle. My bias is that I love powdery scents, but I feel that this could be considered too powdery for some. It's definitely not a year round daily driver or a scent that'll be the center of attention, but it's so fresh and clean that I can't believe that it's discontinued. It's as close to therapy in a bottle as it gets. Highly recommended. Don't sleep on this one if you like powder notes!

I like this one but don't reach for it often. I mainly wear this after a nighttime shower before going to bed. As everyone has said it's a light, clean, crisp scent. I don't associate this with soap necessarily but I don't use expensive french luxury soap. Someone below said it reminds him of freshly wetted watercolor paper and a freshly ironed linen shirt. These come to mind for me more than soap. In terms of the so called soapy clean scents, I like Mugler cologne better than this. I do like Infusion D'homme much more than Prada Amber and Gendarme EDP which I both find nauseating. Update: This one really grew on me, now a fav for a light, clean scent. I went to order another bottle and see now it was discontinued some time ago. I hope Infusion d'iris cedre is a close enough substitute.

I was gifted my one and only bottle from a friend that also wore it in '09. I've had the same bottle since, kept in its box, and only half remaining. I'd forgotten about this until last month, and wow, I now remember why I loved it back when i was a kid. This is a BEAUTIFUL powdery, soapy, iris heavy-ish scent that's daring for a man to wear, and I love it. It's a compliment getter, one that women in particular will be asking you about. I'm sad to hear that it's since been discontinued, because I have a feeling that I will be going through my remaining half very quickly. It's always the greats that get discontinued. Maybe I'll find a bottle of this on Ebay (hopefully legitimate). Once I'm out, of course. This will be a mainstay in my collection. It is THAT good.

Love this one! But it’s not an everyday wear for most men, a special occasion or for certain events. I get a toned down/diluted Prada Amber soapy-ness with a strong violet (not iris) and light baby powder. It’s very soft and elegant and warm. Very “harmonious”. Would be perfect for a spring wedding or brunch at a country club. It makes me feel very VERY clean and inoffensive, It’s been discontinued by this name but the Prada Infusion d’Cedre is the exact same scent and is marketed as unisex. Decent longevity, mild projection, light and airy. I would recommend 3-6 sprays, less it may go unnoticed but more would be overkill for the type of fragrance this is.

This smells like someone who has furniture you're afraid to sit on. You visit their house, and the living room is almost too nice, the couch is stiff and the pillows are decorated in such a way that you feel like you can't move them. You don't feel like you can get comfortable. Thats the person that would wear this. It smells fantastic. But it borders on being too pampered. A little cold, a little distant. Smelling clean is one thing, but pampered is another. This isn't a 'freshie' soapy scent. You might want to be careful because this scent could easily clash with your wardrobe if it, or you, lean too casual or blue collar. Again, it smells fantastic.

to my nose this is iris, vetiver bomb. it open up with fresh neroli, smell clean and a bit medicinal in a good way. after 15mins the vetiver show up and add woody essence with slightly sweetness underneath. i like the sharp and clean opening, but the heart phase make me love this stuff! i imagine a man dressed up for going up business meeting. perfect for professional office work. i got arm length projection with superb longetivity (8hrs). Scent: 9 (clean soapy woody scent) projection: 8 (3hrs and still project) Longetivity: 9 (8hrs on my dry skin) Price : 7.5 (reasonable price for prada house) true professionalism and sophisticated

I just purchased the 100ml bottle and LOVE IT! This is something that really unique for fresh men scent. I've never sniff a scent like this before. Yes it's soapy and powdery but that's the love factor in Infusion d'Homme. I'd agree with everyone said it's kind like a luxury and expensive soap of 5 stars hotel that lasting all day on your skin. I gave 5/5 for the scent. Sillage is soft to moderate 3/5. Longevity is above average 4/5. It may have zero sex appeal, but IDH is an amazing scent that women still love to smell on me or any guy in general. The crisp, clean, aroma doesn't scream but instead gently whispers "get a little closer and catch a better whiff" haha. This is the only clean scent besides Prada Amber that literally lifts my spirits. I just can't wait for Spring so I can finally wear this gorgeous scent with a white sweater. Lasts at least 10 hours on me and projects just enough. Prada made it just right. It is a little feminine but with a scent that smells this good, who cares? Superb job Prada.

Best masterpiece of all time: Infusion d' Homme. Biggest crime in perfume history: The decision of Prada, to discontinue it. Biggest shock: It's replacement by the boring Infusion' d Iris Cedre. Most unanswered question: Since most reviewers on fragrantica keep praising the meaning of this soapy heavenly made fragrance and how discontinuance led them to depression (poetic hyperbole), why does the company keep producing new infusion 'boringstaff' and never bring back this insurmountable piece of art??? Finally a rule without exceptions: ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END...

A couple ladies requested this as a scent that would fit me perfectly. so i ponied up and bought the gift set as I was curious of how well this would fit me. Blind buy and ive only had the chance to really wear it twice. this is suit and tie, spring function wear. wedding dinner rehearsal/reception.it's lovely. it's fresh. powdery and just on the male side of the unisex fragrance. it lasts, has good sillage. totally recommend this to men who are attending outdoor events in the beautiful spring/early summer/early fall weather.

This soapy adventure is more complex than one would immediately know - Including my self, who is amazingly surprised how many faces it has. And I love every single one of them The fennel opening The powdery flowery soap The incense and cedar (who peak out obviously once in a while despite mostly hide away) And in the base... WOW! It's another kind of an even more soft soapy scent which is more transparent and dreamy luxury bath like, compared to the more powdery soap from the middle notes. Many beautiful faces in one spray

This beautiful, soft, soapy, clean, luxurious fragrance has become my husbands signature scent that I use often on a more casual level. I believe because this fragrance is so sophisticated and classy it is impossible to overdo it, as It will not offend anyone you come across. I use Prada Infusion D' Iris body lotion as a under layer because D' Homme does not yet have a body lotion. Iris and Homme are so similar it is the perfect combination for this wonderful scent!

montedonio It's the most similar to IDH you can get. The scent is still great but for IDH lovers the absence of vetiver makes it weaker and with less projection. In my opinion and on my skin, IDH seems to be the perfect fragrance. Very upset that it had being replaced. I've tried to mix and combine Iris Cedre with Tom Ford Grey Vetiver to supply the vetiver absence, but it didn't work. After an hour Grey Vetiver was the only thing I could feel. Lost my signature :(

This is the third fragrance of Prada I've owned, next to Prada Man and Prada Amber Intense PH. The Milano Infusion d'Homme smells clean, fresh, urban and elegant. The soapy and powdery scent specific to the Prada Man is still with this one and is even sharper and more distinct. It sticks fast onto my skin all day. Its projection and longevity are also excellent. This is, in summary, definitely another superb fragrance from Prada and it's worth a try.

I bought this Prada last summer. It is a completely clean soapy smelling scent. It is fairly strong but not at all overpowering. When I bought it, it reminded me of Tobacco Flower oil from Body Shop but a more luxurious version. I felt like it was a summer scent but now have changed my mind. I think it can be worn all year long but it is more of a fall/winter scent due to the fact that it is warm and velvety rather than cool and juicy.

I've been searching for soapy, clean scents that are either floral- or citrus-based. Infusion D'Homme falls in the former category. I purchased a carded sample on eBay to test drive. It's very well done and performance is good. I agree that it is somewhat similar to Amber Pour Homme, but it's lighter and more suitable for warmer weather. I like it so much that I recently acquired a 50 ml and partial 100 ml bottle. Highly recommend.

Out of my 60 odd bottles of fragrances, I gotta say this is the safest of them all and can simply be used in all occasions. Performance is ducking (my iPhone being nice) amazing. Vetiver is pretty offensive to some cause it's rooty, bitter and earthy But not with this one where it's blended fantastically with flowers, wood and a tiny pinch of citrus. To put the icing on the skin this uniquely smelling beauty feels sexy and natural.

WOW, just wow! They just dont make fragrances like this anymore. What a treat for the senses if you like Clean, Fresh, Insanely long lasting dare I say MasterPiece!! This is not for your average Joe, its a stand out of the crowd, walking on clouds kind of statement. I dont think any otehr fragrance out there in 2026 has the same impact this does , its BIG and Bold but so well done in how powdery and elegrant it is at the same time.

When I spray it I smell balsamic and woody notes,but wait for few minutes you will smell talc powder. You will feel that you are using baby powder on your body. It's good perfume. When you wear it people around you will think that it's your own smell not wearing perfume I like these kind of perfumes. If you want to wear sharper and stronger than this wear prada infusion d'iris. Update: It's long lasting too.

The boy I love wears this perfume and it smells absolutely amazing. Very soapy, clean, and innocent as well. He just sprays a few drop and all day when he passes... I can chase him without seeing him. Lasts all day long, doesn't need refreshing. I searched on the internet a lot to find this perfume, and found it. I was wondering what could be on earth smells like that, it is heaven. Very soft. Loved it.

this scent always remind me when i was kid. my mom always bathe me with soap that smelled like this, i think its imperial leather soap. very calming, fresh, clean and nostalgic. although not everyone love it, but i think nobody will offended by its scent. scent : 8 longetivity: 8 (8-10hrs) projection : 7 for me its the best for office and daily. but im more like it for 'bedtime' scent lol

Infusion d'Homme will be discontinued? It begins to be difficult to find it on the shelves of fragrance stores. On the other hand, the new fantastic Infusion d'Iris Cédre, let me rested, because if they end up with the production of Infusion d'Homme, we always have this new renaming - Infusion d'Iris Cedre. This is a masterpiece from Prada. Unique, discret. My signature scent.

It does what it says on the tin and then some. The cleanest, most starchiest and soapiest cologne out there. It used to be my signature scent in spring and summer and I wear it regularly still; absolutely love it. Excellent performer and my wife loves it when I wear it. After hearing some chatter that it has been discontinued, I got myself 3 x 200 ml bottles. 9/10!

Another masterpiece from this great house. I don't want to repeat many reviews from here, it's just one great fragrance, so simple, yet so complex, a perfect example of one warm-weather fragrance with a beautiful character. A big recommendation for it. It doesn't have to scream to seduce, this fragrance has the skill to win everyone's heart just being there. 10/10

I recently bought this for my husband because I liked my Infusion d'Iris so much. Before he could get his hands on it I tested it on myself and it smells very similar to the female version, but almost a bit smoother and more comforting. This smell is so great and relaxing, I could just burry my face in my husband's shirt and be at complete peace with the world!!

My favorite fragrance. It is exactly like mixing Prada amber and Dior homme cologne blended better than both are alone with richer quality ingredients of that of a niche brand. It’s like having a VETIVER version of GIT without aquatic cool water mess and a comforting natural soapy powder freshness without as much powder as amber. BAM!!!! PERFECT.

This smells like an expensive soap, nice clean and powdery. This has a classy vibe and works in any situation - with a suit, on a night out, a date, in the office or in the gym. I get great staying power, this works in any weather but is amazing in high heat. Gets lots of compliments and is inoffensive. Safe blindbuy.

My all time favorite Prada fragrance. Infusion d'Homme is a true masterpiece. It starts with an Iris and citrus blast. In the dry down the vetiver and powdery notes make their appearance and voila! Very fresh and summery, perfect for both sexes. It can be worn both in the day and night IMO. 10/10

Powder fresh shower scent. Almost a scent perfect for a child. It has that baby powder feel to it. A great bedtime scent for sure. You won't offend anyone with it, which is why it is also a great work scent. I highly recommend giving it a chance. It's cheap and smells lovely. Happy Hunting.

Really great sharp pungent soap. Take an artisanal oat soap, add iris, neroli, white incense, and cedar and then cut it in half and put it to your nose. That's this smell. Very sharp with some powder and squeeky clean. If you like soap (I do), you'll like this. Scent 9/10 Performance 7.5/10

I really love this one and I see that many people think that Prada Infusion d'Iris is exactly the same. I don't agree, Infusion d'Iris is more sweet floral, less soapy and more feminin. Still nice but not the same. Try first if you gonna find it similar and don't blind buy as I did.

Best Laundry scent ever! You will smell clean, elegant and fresh. I love to spray this fragrance when I'm wearing a simple white shirt or white tee in the summer. The formulation I own has good longevity and sillage. It is the one with the white cap. Thumbs up!

It is so lovely scent. Really pleasant, inoffensive and safe fragrance. Even it was EDT but it's last 5-6 hours on my skin. What i get the most are iris, cedar, vetiver and powder.This perfume reminds me Chanel N.19 EDT and L'Occitane Iris Bleu.
