Infusion d'Iris (2015)

To choose to wear a perfume is to enter a relationship; and this is the mother of all relationships: the relationship with my mother I mean ;) For me, the relationship with Infusion d'Iris is contentious. Just like the relationship with my mother. Keep reading, I promise to talk more about the perfume than about my mother :) It starts as a jagged mix of iris, galbanum, and cedar. Then one or two minutes in, Infusion d'Iris gets downright aggressive, it almost smells like gasoline... and all I can think of is: "really, are you kidding me?!!!" My approach is to just let it explode into its insane tantrum, while telling my self: "this will pass, and we'll be able to have a conversation." About 5 to 8 minutes in, cedar and galbanum take over: arid, bitter, galbanum will make you thirsty, and I can even taste the wood chips of cedar in the tip of my tongue. This takes a while, so you better be patient when spraying... And drink a glass of water while you're at it, it's good for you anyway. 15 to 20 minutes after the first spray, the contention begins to die down; and then the absolutely enchanting warmth of Iris and musk appear, at first through billowing wafts. It's not that iris is a warm scent, it just feels warm when juxtaposed with cedar and galbanum. What Iris is, is an elegant, alluring, sophisticated seductress... just like my mother was. This EDP is a high class, high maintenance lady attempting to pass as carefree. Did I say ENCHANTING?!!! Then 30 minutes in, a very peculiar thing happens: at 20 cms (8 in.) from the skin, all I smell is iris and musk, but if I bury my nose against my arm, from up-close, I do not detect any iris what so ever. What I smell is the clean, woodsy cedar and the arid galbanum. It feels as though I were putting my tongue to brand new linen. And that's when I realize: this smells like brand new out of the bank CA$H! If you are interested in attracting a Wall Street banker, then this is the fragrance for you! This clean, cash predominant up-close scent remains for a long time, at least 3 to 4 hours. During that time, the iris and musk continue to develop, its billowing wafts get longer and stronger... Until you are enveloped in a GORGEOUS iris bubble. And it is at that time, that I recall... wait a minute: Iris and musk? I remember being a young child in the seventies, the soft embrace of my mother, who wore L'air Du Temps, Oscar by Oscar de La Renta and Sung by Alfred Sung, all in their Parfum or Eau de Parfum concentration, (this high maintenance lady would not be caught dead with an EDT). All these fragrances contained iris and musk. I have not smelled the reformulated versions, so I can't establish a relation between Infusion d'Iris and these fragrances as they are formulated today, but there is definitely a contemporary, more transparent aspect in Prada's treatment of iris that reminds me of those fragrances of 40 years ago. The "musky" iris eventually works its way into a skin scent at approximately 5 to 6 hours after the first spray. This scent remains on my skin for a very long time. Even after the projection comes down, those whom you let come close to embrace you, will still smell the iris in all its alluring "come hither" splendor even 8 or 9 hours after first spray.- I do, however, apply almond oil on my skin every morning.- This scent is understatedly elegant, but it is by no means just a clean wallflower. It has a low to moderate projection. I use it during the day in spring, summer, and autumn, and spray it on my silk blouses where the scent can live forever and the projection is amplified. I have learned to love this fragrance. Infusion d'Iris envelops me in my mother's arms and reminds me everything is going to be alright.

I really love Infusion d'Iris: iris in all its complexity, from the powdery earthy orris notes to the delectable grape Pop Rocks fizz of the supremely fragrant purple bearded iris, over transparent layers of citrus, white florals, woods, and amber. It has a powdery luxury bath product feel to it, or maybe the world's most elegant barbershop-spa kind of vibe. This smells crisp and elegant to me, but also dreamy and sensuous, a fragrance that is unlikely to offend or necessarily even be noticed, but you will feel like a clean and efficient, possibly even radiant, creature if you put this on your skin of a morning. I had my travel sprayer for only a few days before I deemed this full bottle worthy. I don't want to risk losing that iris magic in a future reformulation. It reminds me a little bit of Junoon by Al Haramain, but this is much less powdery. (I love powder, and Infusion d'Iris has plenty, so this is not a value judgment, just an observation.) Update: Wore it to bed last night--highly recommended, a very serene and calming scent despite the absence of lavender--and refreshed early this afternoon; my husband couldn't smell it until he got close, and then he said it smelled slightly of incense to him. I think he must be interpreting the benzoins that way; they do have a sort of rich and resinous accord. I love this more all the time. I know it doesn't really have the projection of, say, Iris Poudre or LVEB Iris Absolu, but it's still absolutely gorgeous. I mostly wear perfume for myself, and this creates an exquisite little scent bubble for meeeeeeeeeeee that is unlikely to offend anyone else (or that would even be registered as anything but a clean soap and powder smell, at most). As it dries down, it smells more and more like the bearded irises that bloom every spring in my front yard: that is my holy grail for an iris scent. Upgrading this one, longevity-wise. It is a skin scent 12 hours after application, but wow, is it ever a GREAT skin scent, and the fact that it's perceptible that long into the wear is impressive for such a delicate scent. It really does remind me of iris turned to a clean bergamot jasmine tea turned to incense turned to soap, and it turns out that I LOVE that smell.

So pretty. And powdery, understated and serene. But the best part is how it behaves. It starts like a cologne. Dear fellow Americans, colognes are type of perfumes, not ALL perfumy stuff for men. Forgive me for the interruption. So, it starts zesty and juicy and zingy and with time it transforms into this delightful slightly smoky, balmy, woody, powdery iris and orris. Very subtle, refined and incredibly close to skin. It stays for quite some time, but it's so intimate and comfortable that it's easy to get use to it. Adorable. Perfect for every day, work, even healthcare workers. This is something I wear when I go to the dentist, he is too nice to complain. It smells clean and expensive. It you like this kind of stuff, go directly for 200 ml, because frankly the smaller ones are just too expensive. And even if you don't want to, you will end up using it like a cologne, you will overspray it and FREQUENTLY in summer. As it behaves like a cologne, you will treat it like one. I always have a travel spray in my purse. I can't imagine offending anyone with it. As a perfume addict, having something this nice and politically correct with me for the emergencies is merciful to the rest of the population. As for the differences between 2015 and previous 2007 version...they are very close, but this one is greener, clearer and even more cologne-like. The previous one is more balsamic, smokier and more powdery. It you prefer the original version, you might want to consider buying Infusion d'Iris Cedre, the drydown is closer. And forget what replaces what, they are ALL completely gender and age neutral.

OK. So many reviews of this fragrance already, but I can't help myself, so here's another one. I asked in the awesome Fragrantica Forum for an Office safe perfume for Summer Days. I got so many lovely replies! The most mentioned perfume was this one, without competition. So of course I had to try it. Easier said than done, in my small European town. It had to be ordered online, and it was out of stock almost everywhere. But I found one eventually, and - lo and behold - TODAY it arrived! // It's now 90 minutes since I sprayed it on my wrists, and Yes, it's a love story. She was worth waiting for. My ladies (and gentlemen), I get it! It's wonderful. TBH it was a rocky start, I found it a bit overwhelming, spicy and strong, but it settles. It settles wonderfully. After 20 minutes it's great and it stays great. Clean, powdery, yes, but not to dry or sweet. Flowers, yes, but not synthetic or dominant, only fresh Irises. It's very feminine, discreet and soft - perfect for the office! Boring? Noo! I'll wear it at home, out, everywhere. I feel beautiful and it makes me happy. So thank you all, for Iris 2015. We'll have a long, solid friendship, and that's good because I could only get the big bottle... // Update a few years later: Still fond of this one, but not on me. I couldn't wear it often, since it really triggered my migraine. Had to give the bottle away, luckily it was perfect for one of my daughters. She loves it and wears it well. So still a win-win!

It's a clean powdery floral, serious, sophisticated classy fragrance. It's minimalistic in the best way. Reminds me of Chanel No 5 without the heavy cloying screechy florals. I get a tiny hint of the same benzoin that Prada Candy has when it's first sprayed but the drydown is different - all dry powdery clean florals. It makes me think of a rich woman in a camel colored coat lol for some reason lol. Maybe its bc of that magazine ad with the model wearing leather gloves lol. I was in high school when this came out (am in my 30s now) and for YEARS AND YEARS I smelled this in glossy magazine strips and loved the sophistication, classiness and boss woman vibes this has. It has the vibe of a woman who is always dressed extremely classy and follows the old money aesthetic lol. Like a younger chicer version of Serena's mom from Gossip Girl. I was more into gourmands through my teens and my 20s and never really cared to buy it all the times I smelled it the past 10 yrs (plus I could never find it for a good price lol). Randomly I saw this for such a good deal on a 3.4 oz I couldn't refuse. I had to have only smelled the 2007 version but it's the exact same as what I remember! It's so simple and minimalistic but it has a very memorable scent, and is unique IMO. Also I think this might be being discontinued bc its so hard to find it in a lot of stores now! So glad I finally added this to my collection.

I will preface this by saying that I've not tried the original Infusion d'Iris, so I have no comment as to which version is better. I will say that this is one of the most enjoyable iris scents I have tried after recently purchasing several decants of popular iris perfumes (Hiris by Hermes and Dior Homme Original). I already own L'Iris by Santa Maria Novella which also shares a neroli note, as I have noticed many iris perfumes tend to do, however L'iris and Hiris by Hermes both share a similarly green and earthy iris flavor which is very different from the vibe I catch in Infusion. The citrus of the mandarin and neroli is very present from the opening of Infusion, yes, however I find it to be beautifully blended with the floral elements of the iris and the neroli. I am not a fan of citrus perfumes at all so they usually have to be accompanied by something else for me to justify enjoyment. The powderiness of the iris further develops alongside the resinous, vanilla-like quality of the benzoin. It feels like a modernized Chanel fragrance, if that makes any sense. The powdery quality of the perfume is very reminiscent of Chanel No 5 and Chanel No 19, although the benzoin brings such a unique flavor. Overall a very addictive scent for me and definitely unisex. This could pass as a niche fragrance easily.

Infusion d'Iris is a breath of very expensive smelling fresh air, in a mass market saturated with sweet patchouli candied sillage bombs. Infusion is one of those smells that I just want everywhere, I want my sheets, towels, clothes, skin, hair, to smell of this. When it was first released Prada made a variety of scented products - linen water, bar soaps, candle, bath salts, etc - which makes perfect sense as this smell is suited for use in every form. I have worn this on and off for nearly 10 years, and if I had to choose a signature scent for the rest of my days, this would undoubtedly be it. People often complain of longevity and sillage issues, this was not created to announce itself, but to create a veil to delight and intrigue, never shout. Infusion D'Homme was the first scent I ever choose as an early-teen, my mother took me to my local department store to find something, and I immediately said I wanted Infusion D'Homme when I saw the bottle (choosing a fragrance based on the bottle reflected my age) but I am so glad I did. I eventually moved onto Infusion d'Iris after Homme was used up, I love both, but the Iris has a less pronounced 'soapiness' which I prefer. LOVE - I hope this continues to have a cult following so it never gets taken off the market.

amazing ol' soapiness. just because this scent stops projecting after like half an hour or so doesn't mean it doesn't have longevity--2 sprays at 5:30pm last night and woke up at 12pm the day after, still smelling that beautiful iris/neroli trace on my wrist. It's interesting so many reviews are slamming the longevity, but the majority of the people rating the strength of the fragrance have this in "very long lasting" territory. This is a scent to wear for yourself or to wear to work, its very quiet and you kind of have to bury your nose into your wrist after the first 5 hours or so to get a smell of anything--but it's definitely there. Edit (may 2017): finally got around to purchasing this...best day summer fragrance ever. I get a lot of peppery incensey cedar and floral greenness, all surrounded by the iris which i love so much. nothing in this smells remotely synthetic, it smells totally clean and refreshing without resorting to typical designer citrus and non descript woods/musk to give that effect. completely strong enough to carry me throughout the day but not a bomb by any means. also, its the textbook definition of unisex, there is nothing in this that skews it eitherway--it just smells great.

The first and probably the last "women's" perfume I bought for myself, I randomly walked through a perfume shop and saw Prada and among all that I was interested in iris of course and one spray and I was in zen, I fell in love with this fragrance and the other day I bought it. I see that many people write and I agree this is unisex, this is a timeless classic that has nothing to do with gender, this is iris perfection.I have Prada L'Homme and I consider it one of the best men perfumes ever, but this one is a little different, more gentle, more romantic, more dreamy ... For me a perfect intimate scent of purity, smells like a white clouds in the sky, I think that if there is a place like heaven, it must smell like this there. It’s a unisex iris perfection in the bottle 🤍 Take into account that I love and prefer old school men's fragrances like Drakkar Noir, Azzaro PH, etc., this is somewhat the opposite. just like everything in life is Yin and Yang, it's the same with perfumes, this is the gentle side of men 😊 I guess I'm not the only one who likes "real" men's fragrances on the one hand and iris "feminine" on the other 😁😂

I don't know if they fiddled with it, but my last bottle seems closer to '07 version than my previous ones. Batch code said it was produced in September '24. I didn't wear it for few years and than stumbled upon well priced 200 ml bottle. Apparently, they still do make them big. I find difficult to resist big bottles of things I tend to wear often or overspray. I'm enjoying it more than I used to. Infusion d'Iris Cèdre was my consolation and go-to iris in the meantime, it really behaves wonderfully on my skin. But, now, I think I like this new bottle of Infusion d'Iris even more. Three months later...I'm glad I bought it again. It's among my favorites now. As I age, I'm adopting 'less is more' attitude, I just don't have as much time or energy as I used to. Simplifying clothes, make up, food, and in this case, perfume. And I rarely have the patience for fussy, elaborate, drama queen perfumes. People too. Quality over quantity. Oh, I'm still using embarrassing quantity of perfume, I just care even less what people think. Infusion d'Iris will always be my safe bet and not just for a visit to the dentist.

I found this one on the bottom shelf of a store, well hidden behind other decorations. I am unfamiliar with Prada specifically because most of the times it stays hidden from my sight. Anyway, I saw the pretty green bottle and vaguely remembered that I recognized the name "Infusion d'Iris", so I gave it a try. I must say from the start that I'm not a big iris fan and didn't know what to expect. I find most iris fragrances hard to wear. Of course, I was in for a surprise. This perfume is truly enchanting, it reminds me of some tea fragrances that I've owned in the past. But this is where all similarity ends, as this perfume is more sophisticated and also slightly masculine. I cannot imagine seducing a man with it (unless he is a banker, haha @anilinam). I find it casual and opulent at the same time. Casual because it is light and great for a picnic or a ride to the store. Opulent because you get to smell very expensive even when you are sitting comfortably, in the most mundane of settings. I myself feel like a diva just sitting at my desk writing this.

I don't feel any Iris, at least not how it smeals here, in my country. It smels citrus‐y and home‐made soap. I feel no dry‐down, no change: it is totaly linear. The silage is very discreet, intimate, but haunting if you use impressive amounts of it (tens of puffs a day). Nobody will complain, even if you pour the entire bottle: it is clean, pleasant, ireprochable. The longevity is good, esspecially on clothes. It cannot be layered, in my opinion, with other perfumes (perhaps with those from the collection Les Infusions, but I wouldn't know) because it is too faint, discreet. I love white musk perfumes, but this fragrance has nothing in common with it. I find extremely useful, in order to better feel a fragrance, to cover my nostrils and stop my breathing when I spray it, because I noticed that, if the microscopic drops float into my nostrils, my smeling sensors get used to the perfume and then I perceive less of the fragrance.

One of my favourite fragrances. If I had to sum this up in one word it would be: clean. There is something neutral about this, in the best possible sense. Calm, poised, yet neither contrived nor dull. Quiet, soothing, low-key, understated, and subtle. It smells expensive, somehow, which of course it is, especially as the longevity and sillage are pretty much non-existent. The scent fades to skin scent within a couple of hours, and one could easily use up a 30ml bottle in mere weeks, which makes this an extravagance, in my opinion. Yet all the same, I adore it. This is a beautiful scent to wear during the day, whatever the circumstances or events. I prefer it during colder weather, yet it works well during a moderately warm spring-summer day too. It is also lovely to wear in the evening and to bed. Overall, the scent puts me in mind of some wonderful, ultra-luxurious, expensive and extravagant laundry detergent or conditioner.

My very first Prada, and it will not be last (just don't know what to buy the second time around).I love it. When first sprayed this smells a little bit like disinfectant for the wounds, sharp, cold, clinical, but to me not repulsive in any way, rather invigorating, cannot stop putting my arm to my nose and smelling it.It softens to fresh cedar wood smell with a tiny hint of musky powder to smooth the roughness around the edges. Feminine to unisex scent, never too masculine to me. Longevity moderate, stays close to skin. One of my favourites in summer, but even now in September or even more so. For me it represents the freshness,chilliness, moisture and peace of the early morning walk through the misty pasture with my dog.

This is just class. Clean, powder, warm-yet-bright. Yes, it has a touch of 'grandma' about it, but Grandma is a chic, elegant, Chanel suit wearing classy lady, but not a stand-offish one, a comforting and generous one. It's a very calming scent. No silage whatsoever, but I kinda like that privacy. It's a scent to wear for you and no one else (unless you have someone you want to get verrrry close to)... I get florals, violet, a touch of powder sweetness, enough spice to make it non-fluffy. It's truly a beautiful scent. Almost makes me a bit teary (does anyone else get like that with perfumes? The ones you love make you cry just a little?)

Such a good everyday scent!!! I can see this being someone's signature scent. Fresh, crisp, clean, soapy, bright, powdery. Im finding the Iris + neroli combo to be gentle, porcelain, light, sparkling. Reminds me of Bal D Afrique (not similar notes, but similar in its vibe - crisp white tshirt, everyday clean scent) This is an easy-reach & office friendly. I wish the longevity was better (only get 2-3 hours on skin which is pretty poor) but I do adore it nonetheless. I get better longevity on clothes. Easy, timeless, elegant, clean, cozy. Slowly becoming my signature, used 1/3 of a bottle in a week. I crave the smell of this perfume.

Currently my favorite. After few years I am still loving it. I never been able to wear a scent more than a year without getting burnt out on it. I am at constant awe at it's sparkling soft, dry and soapy-ness. It's like walking into a cool, plush and ultra clean house made of lime stone with bone color leather furniture, grey suede pillows, ecru lush handmade rugs and bearded iris in simple geometric silver containers. You sit in the soft light sipping some faintly purple drink, staring out the shutters half closed, into an citrus orchard shimmering in the silver heat. What else can I say?

Strongly agree with most reviews that this is a comforting and intimate scent with a really warm and soft presence too. I use the term warm to describe the sense of sitting very close to someone, but to me, not necessarily what "warm" often entails in a fragrance. On my skin, very powdery, which I happen to love. The iris is there but again doesn't outshine the powderiness in my opinion, which may put some off, but I feel it's really balanced out by the wood and possibly the neroli? I don't get the citrus personally. Altogether I find it soft and cloudy but with a grassy, earthy undertone.

My all time favorite perfume. It's powdery but theres more to it than just plain powdery. I am so in love with this scent I just cannot figure out why it cannot last longer than 30mins on my clothes or my skin. Trust me, I've tried spraying it on clothes, skin, head to toe desperate to make it last long. I got the box with the lotion and when I put lotion on my torso it lasts maybe an hour more at best. What I would give for it to last just a few hours on me. I'm not even asking for sillage ,just to smell it on me for hours would be enough but it just disappears in under an hour.

Love this one--FB worthy. Its like they bottled the feeling of serenity. As for notes, I find this fragrance very unusual so to use typical descriptives like woody, floral note or clean may bring to mind the wrong impression as it has more of a quality than a scent note. Its scent is like a body powder scented with a lovely soft soapy iris floral note with just a smidge of anise. It's warm, comforting, serene and elegant. I think this is a fragrance you wear more for the pleasure it brings to yourself than others. Definitely not a blind buy but worthy of getting a sample to try.

For my fellow Filipino guests and members here, The local brand V&M Naturals offers a very affordable dupe for this fragrance - Bespoke Fragrance Iris and Incense EDP. The comparison upon their initial scents is spot-on! However, this one from Prada sets into the skin with a sweet "dirty vanilla" scent of benzoin after a few hours, which the V&M one wasn't able to achieve. This also stays on for a long period of time (8-10 hours), while V&M stays for 3-4 hours only. This Prada one retails here in the Philippines for P6,800 (100ml), while V&M sells for P450 (30ml). :)

Infusion D'iris is a successful blind buy. I was worried it would be masculine for some reason, but it's not. I find it femme. Galbanum and incense are listed on the box in addition to the pyramid above; they seem to be there when I'm smelling this. I won't complain about reformulation (haven't smelled the old one.) I'm satisfied that between this 2015 version and No.19/No.19 Poudre, I'm not missing out on anything galbanum-iris related. p.s. performance-to-price ratio is abysmal. I will not buy it again at $70usd/50ml but maybe a Dua dupe or something

I rarely add powdery perfumes to my favorites list. Usually a fragrance with top powdery note is too dry and flat on my skin. But this one I love. Even though it has been reformulated and might not be everything that the 2007 version was. Still - it is so very pleasant with it's floral/citrus notes and the tasteful sweetness. I feel it has depth and sophistication that many current perfumes lack. Could wish for a better longevity. However the aroma itself is wonderful. Also - I love the classic style bottle and packaging - very elegant.

A birth in springtime. You know that feeling you get when you carry a baby in your arms, and then you gently place Baby down on white, soft cotton sheets? This is what this smells like. And when Baby cries, as you hold him/her, you feel this bitterness because you don't know how to stop the crying and don't know how long it will take until you can make the noise go away--but it is to be expected. There is this vetiver-ish bitterness in this perfume, but It is all a part of this innocent birth, and I don't want it any other way.

It always takes a few days for me to love Prada's perfumes, but after few days i often fall so hard on each one i have. This one is my current most favorite perfume, it's been months, but sadly not that easy to find in any stores. Its 1st initial spray could be quite peculiar in your nose, but as it dries down.... it's my version of heaven on earth. Its iris note is eminent, a bit minty, and also fresh but not that greeny kinda fresh, more like a clean fresh, like you are in such place with a clean air.

A fragrance to lift your spirits on a grey day! I find the combination of iris and mandarin irresistible; yes, it's a 'clean' fragrance, but it's the clean smells found in nature - freshly cut wood, sliced fruit, and orris root, which can smell clean like a baby's skin smells clean. This version is a vast improvement on the pre-reformulation powdery fragrance, which was nice but generic. It's more interesting now, in my opinion, and more modern. And you can buy it easily, which is always a bonus.

Truly a sophisticated masterpiece. I adore this and have worn it occasionally for 15+ years. It does remind me of my grandma’s dressing table and that is an entirely good thing. I adored my grandma and she passed away perhaps two years before I discovered this beautiful perfume, it probably isn’t a coincidence. Don't let me put you off trying this by talking about grandmothers, it’s soothing and calming and the perfect antidote to very hot weather. A wonderful summer fragrance for all time.

My current go-to scent with the heat !!! smells very lemony I agree that It is a bit masculine smelling in the sense that it smells like men's shaving creams. Imagine powdery and citrusy goodness. It's really refreshing but don't expect sillage because you'll be disappointed. It becomes a skinscent in a few hours which isn't a problem for me because I don't like to suffocate people with my perfume especially in the summer. If you wanna give it a bit of depth mix it with pure white musk.

I needed 2 days to understand & break down the scent of this perfume. Don't get deceived by the first spray, as you will get the smell of hair spray and maybe J&J baby shampoo !!! Let few minutes pass & this will develop to an amazing cozy lemony, woody, fresh clean but deep scent. It's very comforting to me. I find it quite interesting how this reminds me of Hermes Voyage and Chanel Cristalle Eau Verte. All are fresh, classic but each has it's own different character in the notes.

If you are looking for a fragrance that's perfect as a gift, this is one of those. This is unisex but leaning more feminine. The powdery smell is really comforting! It was fall when I bought this in Chicago and it smells really nice. However, when I got back to the Philippines, I tend to use this only when it's not hot outside. On a really hot and humid weather, it has a gasoline smell to it. It's not offensive in any way but I still prefer it on colder months.

Another soapy masterpiece from Prada. I have not tried the original Infusion d'Iris (for women), but I adore Infusion d'Homme, which led my attention to this new Infusion d'Iris. Fantastic as expected with Daniela Andrier's creations. The opening and mid are great. The cedar is obvious and goes very well with the powdery iris scent. The base is probably the most beautiful scent I've ever come across. It's soapy dreamy bath, laughter, joy, innocence, magic...

This is pleasant. In general, I do like powdery perfume. There is a tiny hint of baby powder, but this is obviously more floral, perfumy. My favorite Iris perfume is Aerin’s Iris Meadow. Update: 10/19/2023: This one from Prada grew on me over time, and I now wear it regularly. It’s rather dry, teeny sweetness. Has a bit of cosmetic-y feel to it but in a nice way! It has an understated elegance with je ne sais quoi. Lovely! Upgrading to love. 💐

I have an original 2007 version and just found a sample of this one. To me they are the same. Suprisingly, they only changed packaging this time. I just love, love, love it! I also have absolue, but this one rules. Beautiful iris and woods. Clean, fresh but mysterious at the same time. Suitable for all seasons and weather. One of these I cannot stop sniffing myself. I have well over 150 fragrances in my collection and this one is on the top.

Of all the fragrances in the world this must be it for me. I sprayed it couple years ago on my arms in the duty free heading to Rome for the first time and my jacket smelled like heaven every time I wore it. This scent is truly like no other, can’t even find the words to explain how unique this is the my nose! Smells exactly how a sophisticated, mysterious yet inviting and kind lady should smell. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

This brings me to childhood, playing with the beauty products on my grandmother's vanity. Mainly I smell a fancy vintage body powder, the complete set with the big soft pouf and loose scented powder in a pretty box. But don't get me wrong, this doesn't smell "old fashioned" at all, but rather soft, clean, and fresh, with lightly sweet iris and intriguing woods. I find it unique and comforting.

Mmmmm, iris goodness! It reminds me of L'Instant Magic and Chanel No. 5. It smells so clean, soapy clean without being too old-fashioned. This is what I imagine soaps made for royalty back in the day would smell like. I put this on before I went to bed and woke up 10 hours later still smelling wafts of it. It lasts a long time, but it's kind of a weak scent; it always stays close to the skin.

makes me feel so so pretty. At first it’s fresh and clean, but as it dries down the dewy wateriness gets softer and it thickens into an airy, comfortable cloud. the smell of sheer white curtains in front of a window, the breeze blowing through is a little chilly and humid but there’s one ray of sun coming through the clouds, dappled through leaves and lace onto your clean skin.

One of my favourite Prada perfumes and Iris scents. I used it a lot and as I was almost finishing my 2nd bottle I got a (compliment) of "oh wow you smell just like my mum" which threw me off it and I decided not repurchase 😭 Now that I am good at perfume layering then I might repurchase and just layer it with fresher perfumes to give it a younger edge.

Woow! This just became my favorite benzoin perfume. Very subtle and soft, yet long-lasting and, one me, it's far warmer and more plush than it is clean. Wonderful in cold weather, very comforting. The drydown is actually really reminiscent of prada candy, almost indistinguishable after a while. Perhaps there was a bit of self-plagiarism going on here.

I'm really starting to appreciate this one. Very calming. Gives me that feeling when you take a slightly colder shower in the evening after a thousandth day of heat wave. You just did your skin care routine and your skin smells like shampoo and face cream. And then you lie down on freshly washed sheets and relax. I don't know.

I cheated. I made an agreement with myself not to buy perfumes I have already owned. But after 2 terrible blind buys I just needed to get something in a big bottle that I can proudly overspray 😅 This is so devine! This perfume is in my ‘safe zone’: pure, bit mystique, soapy and slightly balsamic and sweet.

'Dry' is the word that pops into my mind when I think about this perfume - Iris flowers growing in the hot, dry, stony ground. No juiciness or sugar sweetness here, and I love it. Restrained, elegant, refined - unmistakable. On my skin it lasts a good 6 hours with moderate sillage. A total keeper.

The best iris perfume, nothing else compares. It's so beautiful I could almost cry for some reason. I'm not sure why because I don't have any negative memories attached to it. Maybe it is the sheer uncomplicated beauty of this fragrance that moves me. It feels wistful and ethereal.

Better than the 2007 version was, this new 2015 version is working better than the old one, at least on my skin. Same moderate sillage and huge longevity. The old one was wonderful, but something in it was not quite right for my skin.

Opening reminds me of Versace dreamer like the first 10 sec. Dries down into an angelic skin scent. Smells high quality and natural. Like a luxurious lotion/soap. Unisex, slightly feminine leaning. Weak performance.

Infusion Iris by Prada for me is a very intimate fragrance, very calming, very relaxing in a elegant way. I know, she is not great in longevity, but anyway i can't help to love this perfume

Elegant, clean, comforting, soft and gentle. It’s never harsh. Perfect for every season. I like the dry down much better than the beginning. It’s so delicate. My all time favourite.

This is unisex, just as all the other 2015+ Infusion releases. Not just according to me, but according to Prada's own web store. Why fragrantica has it mixed up, I don't know.

I think this is my favourite. A clean, elegant and kind woman, yet mysterious and just of something that is not from this world. Will have a bottle for the rest of my life.

This is how I'd want my skin to naturally smell. Such a beautiful powdery fragrance. I'm in awe and without a doubt - my signature scent worthy pick for years to come.
