Final Rating: 9.0/10 Luna Rossa Sport is a fragrance that surprises with its "sport" design. It's a comfortable, charming and elegant personality that loses its flavor and taste of sporty fragrances. Ideal for a modern home that contains a perfume that is present, but it will be aggressive. This is a short perfume like Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier, but it is also versatile and refined, it can be an excellent addition to its arsenal.

Year was 2015. We had this new boss. Slick back hair, tan glowing skin, he always dresses nice, and like the branded stuff. Hermes belt buckle, LV shoes, Coach messenger bag I mean this guy is a walking ad for name brands lol, he carries it nevertheless. Theres another thing about him, he always smells GREAT. He left the company after only a couple of months and I didn't get the chance to really get to know him and asked what fragrance he was wearing. And all this years (I don't wake up everyday and think about it but once in a while it'll pop into my head) I was left wondering what that fragrance is. From what my nose remember it has this distinct lavender note to it. At first I thought it was Le Male, I have Le Male, It's close but definitely not it. Le Male is lavender, mint and powder. This one is like the most luxurious lavender soap in a 5 star hotel (not that I've been to a 5 star hotel but that's how I would imagine it) or lavender essential oil from a luxury spa (because I feel a sense of calm/relaxation whenever I smell it) fast forward to 2020 and I discovered Beau de Jour from Tom Ford. It has a strong lavender but it turns too mature and green from basil, geranium and rosemary. I swear I tried to convince myself that this is it, just for me to move on and say to myself that I finally found the scent. But no matter how I try to convince myself, it's still not it. Fast forward again to the present. I was bored and decided to search fragrantica for lavender scents and Prada Luna Rossa Sport came up next to Le Male. Look at the notes and got excited, got a sample, it came, sprayed it and.... Immediately my face lit up and literally jump for joy because, this is it!! That beautiful soapy lavender scent I've been searching all this time!!! I sprayed it that night before going to bed and imagined myself that I just had the most relaxing spa in a 5 star hotel. Woke up the next day with a big smile on my face, a few sprays before going to work and walk in like a boss;)

The first one I bought. Caught my eye at Macy's, so I stopped to read the label. Immediately approached by a sales rep who asked if I wanted to smell it. I said sure so she sprayed a test strip and handed it to me and it smelled okay, but definitely not like something I wanted to wear. I said some generically positive thing and started to leave and I kid you not, this lady says "Here, take it for a test drive" AS she sprays me directly center mass. I was not pleased, and words were had. I left and went to finish up my errands or whatever. Every now and then I'd get this little waft of something that smelled VERY GOOD. I couldn't place it at first, but it didn't take long for me to realize the very good smell was following me. I didn't buy it from that lady at Macy's, but I did buy it that same day from a different store where they didn't sneak attack me with aromachemicals. Moral of the story, it wears very differently to how it smells on paper. Clean, cool, powdery, lightly sweet and very fresh. It's got sort of like powdery latex glove vibes from the juniper, ginger, and powdery tonka bean playing off each other. It's got like a crisp borderline medicinal thing going on inside the powdery vanilla cloud. I love this fragrance, and if I had a signature this might be it. I like it in moderate to cooler weather. The tonka bean powdery sweetness gets turned way up in the heat and I find it irritating to wear at that point, but I've only ever received positive feedback when wearing this one so I think it's probably still fine in the heat if you can tolerate it. It's not a safe blind buy, but if you haven't sampled this one I'd recommend it. TLDR; I love it. Try before you buy. If you haven't tried this one on skin, you haven't tried it.

This is my favorite and signature scent for the cooler months. Never gotten more compliments on a perfume. Women love this stuff on men. 8-9 sprays and I feel invincible. Absolutely modern and sexy scent with a lot of depth. Now first things first. Prada has one of worst marketing teams I‘ve ever seen when it comes to perfumes, given that this has the best performance in every aspect in the Luna Rossa line. This is always placed so low in the shelves of perfume shops (yes it is still in shops in Germany) that no one even sees it. Even I didn’t care to consider trying the tester at first. And the word Sport??? Almost everyone would at first glance choose Carbon or Ocean over it because the word Sport makes it sound simple and boring without any depth. I mean seriously Prada, Sport?? When I think of Sport I think of sunny day citrus Chanel Homme Sport vibes. Not a dark vanilla fragrance that is sexy in fall and winter. This fragrance has nothing to do with sport. This should have been the Black we all wanted. Amazing scent for the cooler months that reminds me of Armani Code but much more pleasant and smoothly blended! This has gotten lost in the shuffle of other Luna Rossa flankers because of Prada‘s terrible marketing. With the right marketing this could have been right up there beside Carbon. At least that makes it pretty rare and you will absolutely stand out with this. I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes the Luna Rossa DNA. Scent: 10/10 Longetivity: 9/10 Sillage: 8/10 Value for price: 9/10

Prada fragrances, especially Luna Rossa line, are one of my favorites except for Ocean. Prada, has always been my go to fragrance brand back then, because they exude professional, clean, mature, and soapy fragrances, that are comfortable and soft, perfect for work and university. From the Luna Rossa line, Luna Rossa sport is one of my favorites, actually most favorite besides Black and Eau De Toilette. Prada Luna Rossa Sport, is not actually a sport fragrance, and I admit, to me it fails that. I don’t see this as a sporty fragrance, but more or less a work fragrance. When I first smell this, it is clean, powdery, and comfortable. Imagine if Jean Paul Gaultier and Prada L’Homme had a baby. Luna Rossa Sport is the result, if you like Le Male, but the scent is quite outdated, and less sophisticated. This one takes the cake. I love this fragrance, I woild give it around 8.5, it performs well on my skin, moderate longevity and soft projection which I usally prefer. It is an introverted fragrance, rather than a loud fragrance, so if you are individual who prefers loud fragrances or youthful teenage fragrance this won’t be for you, this is just subtle and clean fragrance, that everyone should try. An underrated fragrance honestly.

So a guy gets on my bus one morning. He was well dressed and smelled amazing. So I wasn’t going to ask him what he was wearing because he looked unapproachable. That smell kept intriguing me. So I asked him he was like Prada. I can tell he didn’t want to tell me. No details just Prada. I’m thinking Prada what? So I wind up in a department store and stumbled across it. So that’s what it is. So I ordered a sample I wanted to wear first. Soon as I sprayed it my wife was like what is that? That’s how I know it’s a banger. She never likes anything. But if she comments it’s the real deal. So im in line checking out at the grocery store and this lady keeps getting close to me. Like in my personal space. She was trying to smell me. Right before that I had a lady ask me what was I wearing. I replied Prada Luna rossa sport.😎 Fellas don’t be hesitant to give up the sauce. We can all smell good. Women love this sent and it just works. Smooth, inviting, buttery. Side note: I’ve worn JPG. I couldn’t stomach it. Just too sweet the vanilla and mint was sickening to me. I couldn’t stand it. I get the comparisons but this is better. Better sent. Blended better. Better quality IMO. It kinda reminds me of Burberry Touch.

This is currently my favorite and daily fragrance but, I will not be wearing this on a hot summer day. I think Prada described this well with the name already. It is exactly what a sporty fragrance should be. This isnt necessarily a freshie, but it still is fresh because of the ginger opening. Mainly still more of a powdery smell the whole time. Drydown has more vanilla and lavender. I love that combo, smells amazing. I always take tonka bean as vanilla in scents, but that might just be because it is in so many vanilla scents. Where and when to wear this? Every day, day and evening, all seasons except hot summers. You can wear this in the summer, but when its a bit colder. I could honestly wear this with anything too. Works both in formal and casual settings. I wear this to school daily. Performance is also great, I'm not a heavy sprayer, but I do two sprays on each side under my ears, guess I could say more neck area so people will smell this on you when walking behind. It lasts me the school day, when I spray it at 7:00 (am) and leave school at around 16:00 (4 p.m.) Recommend this to anyone wanting a safe blind buy daily wear fragrance for all year performance!

I love vanilla based fragrances. I refer this as a vanilla bomb. Its been 3 years and I rock this one for all 12 months apart from high heat. Definitely, at initial spray you will get the alcoholic blast and lots of lavender and ginger at top with hint of juniper berries. Once you pass half an hour you will get a huge vanilla on your skin with hint of ginger and that smells amazing. But please don't go by its name there is no sport in it, as the name is too mis leading. A friendly vanilla which don't restrict you to wear only in winter. Suggested Name- Prada Luna Rossa Sport Eau Extreme (I hope got the idea where I'm pointing to ;) ). When it comes to age factor I believe this will be best suited for 26+ as its not that playful like Eros, AHSEE, etc. But age is just a number if you love it then who cares. Recently I been into layering fragrances and I use this one as a vanilla base for other fragrances. Say example I hate the smell of Cool water Intense due to coconut smell as it reminds me of grocery shop so tried mixing these both in a decant and its was good. Now I get Cool Water with Vanilla and hint of lavender. ;) Review is based my experience.

Upon first blush, anyone who owns or likes JPG Le Male will have an “Aha” moment with this fragrance. The opening is a burst of spicy freshness which is very appealing and noticeable. The combination of juniper and ginger is well done. As it begins to settle in, the next 30-45 minutes are it’s finest moments. That lavender seeping in combined with the spiciness is just killer the way it’s done. It has a smoothness and magnetism that will get others attention. Once it has completed its passage from beginning to end, the vanilla is intense. If you are not a fan of powdery vanilla, it might be a bit much. All in all, it’s a compliment getter that can be worn in just about any season and most occasions. I would even wear it to the office, but with just a couple of sprays. It’s not offensive or cloying, but a little will go a long way in that type of environment. It’s got great staying power, as good as any. Disregard claims that it doesn’t last...must have gone “nose-blind”. Addendum: Pricing on this just keeps climbing. If you really want it don’t wait. Prada Luna Rossa Sport has been my overall signature scent for the last year. It takes that familiar lavender-and-vanilla idea from scents like Le Male and makes it cooler, cleaner and more modern, without the heavy powder or loud sweetness. The opening is smooth lavender with a clean ginger edge. It feels calm and controlled rather than sharp or noisy. Pretty quickly the vanilla joins in: soft, light and transparent instead of thick or sticky. Lavender, ginger and vanilla stay quite steady on my skin, which actually makes it very reliable for daily wear. Compared to Le Male it’s lighter, less retro and more streamlined. It still has warmth and sweetness, but with a fresher, sportier character that fits everyday life now. I honestly see it as a Gen Z version of Le Male, same core idea, but updated and much easier to wear in 2026. Performance is solid: around three to four hours of noticeable presence and roughly eight hours total, especially when the weather is cooler. Not a beast mode fragrance, but strong enough that I can trust it for a full day without becoming overpowering.

This is the only fragrance I've had where I had a girl buy ME a drink when I was wearing it. Take from that what you will.. but females really love this type of scent. I wrote it off for a couple years as I continued on my fragrance journey until right now.. I literally just got back from the grocery store where some dude was wearing this. It was hypnotizing. It smelled so thick and cool in the air. It was intoxicating. Stopped me in my tracks and made me forget what I was looking for. I almost asked him what it was because I barely recognized it. I was thinking "Is that Prada?.. it has to be.." Got back to my apartment, pulled out my old bottle... Yup. Thats it. Man this stuff is good. Sometimes it takes smelling something on someone else to make you realize what you've got. The vanilla lavender balance is pitch perfect, they both dance back and forth creating an effect thats both warm and cooling at the same time. Its got just a touch of soapiness to create almost a kind of dry, whipped texture in the air. But at the same time it almost feels creamy. Really good stuff.

What a great fragrance. I have seen, and myself, made comparisons to the classical JPG Le Male. This fragrance has two different characters and changes depending on the weather. In the cooler weather, this smells dense and sweet: thick fresh lavender over a bed of rich vanilla and amber. In the warmer weather, the juniper opening and ginger come through much more, it's not as sweet, much more aromatic and it settles to a soapy clean lavender. This is an extremely versatile fragrance. I have one bottle of the newer 2024 formulation and two bottles of the older style from 2022. I like them both, although the newer bottle is definitely sweeter with only a saint whisper of juniper, the older version leans heavier into the lavender and juniper, although the juniper fades fairly quickly. They are both still very similar, but slightly different. I prefer the older stuff, it plays better with warm weather and it has a bit better longevity. Like most of the creations in the Luna Rossa line, it is simple, yet perfectly balanced. 8.5/10

I'm a big fan of Prada's house. When this came out in 2015 I tested it on strip and dismissed it. I thought to myself "Daniela Andrier, why would you go in this direction?". It seemed incredibly basic and generic and to me it didn't have the clean DNA that the Amber and L'homme line had. Fast forward to 2023 I was picking out a fragrance for spring. I saw this on sale at Ulta and tried it one more time. This time on skin because they ran out of test strips. "Meh. Still not impressed". Walked out of the store and started driving and to my surprise this turned into an incredible smooth creamy and amber smell. Drove back to the store inside 30 minutes and purchased it with no regrets. Give this a chance folks. I was stupid to write this off for so many years. Edit - Oh and I get the Le Male comparison. Le male has a better opening, I do detect alcohol from the LRS opening. However the dry down for LRS is far superior. It's creamier, the lavender doesn't overwhelm and it lasts longer. Overall; LRS is higher quality.

I've always liked the smell of Le Male on others, but there was always something about it that kept me from wearing it, something sharp and green (maybe the mint, but it didn't seem like mint). So when I first smelled this I dismissed it as a copy and assumed that I wouldn't like it. When I tried it again a couple months ago I realized that it was more than just a copy. While it's similar, this one is smoother and more balanced, a little bit better suited to younger people. I'm completely comfortable wearing this day or night, though I probably won't be wearing it much in the summer. The strange thing is that even though I'm not totally in love with this, I find myself reaching for it more than just about anything else. It's just so pleasant and easy to wear that it's become my dumb-reach for the cooler weather, as the original is for the warmer weather. I certainly recommend this, especially for those people who like the Le Male vibe but didn't really like Le Male. This one will serve you well!

Prada doesn't get the credit it deserves in the designer space. Everyone talks about Dior and Chanel—and rightfully so as they’re my favorite houses —but Prada has quietly built one of the most consistent and refined designer lineups out there. There’s something about the way Prada handles “clean” that feels elevated. Not sterile or bland—just modern, smooth, and polished. Scents like Amber Pour Homme, L’Homme, Luna Rossa Black—they’re not trying to shout. They wear close, age well, and feel like they belong on someone who has their life together. Luna Rossa Sport fits that mold perfectly. It’s sweet but never cloying. There’s a freshness tucked into the vanilla and lavender that keeps it from going too warm or heavy. It gives off a soft, almost barbershop-clean vibe, but still feels current. You could draw comparisons to Le Male or Armani Code EDP, but this feels more pulled together—less trend, more everyday polish. It’s one of those scents I didn’t expect to reach for so often—but here I am.

Luna Rossa Sport is an aromatic, spicy, and vanilla fragrance. It has a fresh and floral opening, where the scent of lavender gives a powdery, clean sensation, very typical of Prada's style. In its drydown phase, the scent becomes spicy, with a rich combination of vanilla and tonka bean. As many have noted, it bears a certain resemblance to Le Male, but there are also other fragrances it reminds me of, such as Pi de Givenchy and Armani Code Parfum. Despite having an oriental nature, it also has some fougere elements, which allow it to be versatile in use and timescale. It could be worn almost year-round, with the exception of the warmer summer months, and could be used in both formal and casual situations, office work, etc. Its longevity, while still testing one of the pre-2024 bottles, was very good, lasting between 10 and 11 hours, with a regular sillage. It is a recommended fragrance if you like fragrances like those mentioned above and don't have many of that style.

My Overall Impressions of Luna Rossa Sport. Immediate impressions are that I really noticed how sweet and clean it was. I really liked the tonka bean opening with just an underlying hint of vanilla, which really emerges in the dry down. It is quite an underrated fragrance in my mind. I think it gets overlooked because it is so simple and there are so many other Luna Rossa variants out there now, that Sport can get lost in the shuffle. It is more of a subtle fragrance, that isn’t weak, but doesn’t overpower either. Sport features a crispy freshness and a rush of aromatic clean. I love it and have absolutely enjoyed wearing it around as of late. The juniper and tonka bean pairing, isn’t always something that I’m in the mood for. Some days, it can feel annoying. Nonetheless, it really does have an appeal, which keeps bringing me back to this scent. The whole Luna Rossa line has been great. Eau Sport is another one that really gets no love, but should be checked out.

My homie gifted this to me for my birthday. He says it’s his favorite and somewhat his signature scent and honestly, this was what started my Luna rossa collection. This is imo better than Le male EDT. It starts off with that dry down le male has but more lavender soapy feel and then it drys down to an amazing vanilla tonka combo. To me this can be a signature scent,office, date whatever you want it to be it’s pretty versatile. Maybe not in the hot hot heat due to the bit of sweetness. But less sprays you can pull it off. On my skin I would say a good 6-8 hours and clothes probably till the next day. It performs better in the cooler weather 75 degrees or less is perfect. 10/10 banger for me. And this is the silver and red bottle not the new all red one.

I smelled this at the Dillard's counter today and absolutely loved it! It really stood put from the other men's colognes, which my daughter and I were trying to get one for my husband for Christmas. I was surprised to see it called "sport" I didn't find it "piney fresh" like the cologne behind it (it was dior I think. One with blue and gold packaging. It smelled like pine sol). Prada lunna rosa Sport for men was in a flashy red bottle but it smelled classy. I only smelled it on a strip but I'll try to describe it: a masculine lavender floral that reminded me a bit of shampoo. It smelled vanilla and smooth but masculine. I really liked it and want to get a bottle for my husband but want to check online for deals because it was $150 in the Dillard's!!

I love this fragrance. It is very clean and very versatile. I get a lot of compliments when I wear this. This is one of my favorite work fragrances because it does not offend anyone. It definitely projects but kind of in a subtle way that doesn't punch you or other people in the face. I definitely smell similarities to Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male. It's much cleaner and more subtle than Le male. It's rounded out more and more modern than Le male. I get pretty good performance especially when I spray on clothes. I can usually still smell on my skin after a 8 hour work day and I can smell it on my clothes for days after I spray or until I wash them. It's all around a great fragrance. It smells good,it's very versatile,and it has good performance.

Are we sure there is no iris in this perfume? Update: After purchasing this fragrance and been an owner of Prada L'homme for quite some time i can say this is a Black Prada L'homme... Fresh but dark and rich and spicy and sexy and... I seriously can't understand how an iris note isn't mentioning at the fragrance's notes! The opening and the first 30 minutes i must say isn't my cup of tea and that was the reason i always skipped that one cause i first try scents on paper before i decide to test on my skin. I had to smell it on a friend and asked him what on earth he's wearing and smells so good and when he told me i was sure he made a mistake of the name with all these Luna Rosas... Don't spray the word... that's gatekeeping worthy stuff...

A really, really good flanker. This is exactly how I imagine flankers are supposed to be. It still has the lavender from the original Luna Rossa and, as much as it is not listed in the notes, I pick up a little mint as well. The classic Luna Rossa, with a touch of vanilla to make it the sports fragrance that they wanted. In terms of complexity and depth, it is not all that amazing. Just like the original, there is not much to it but it still holds up pretty good in terms of simplicity. Me, personally, I like fragrances that has a certain depth to them but also a little character too. As much as this lacks the depth I am looking for, it has that character. It did not dissapoint me, I hope it would not dissapoint you as well 8/10

Luna Rossa Sport is quite an underrated fragrance in my mind. I think it gets overlooked because it is so simple and there are so many other Luna Rossa variants out there now, that Sport can get lost in the shuffle. The first thing that I really noticed about this scent was how sweet and clean it was. I really dug the opening of the tonka bean with just an underlying hint of vanilla, which really begins to emerge later. This isn’t a sporty scent in the usual sense of the word, I would categorize it as a sexy and versatile fragrance. Can be worn in both cool and warmer weather and works very well for date nights. Overall, a great versatile scent that is sweet, subtle, powdery, and will garner compliments if that is your thing.

This is an incredibly beautiful fragrance! I mainly pick up lavender, vanilla, and tonka bean, no ginger or juniper. I agree that this isn't a sporty scent but that doesn't mean you can't use it when sweating heavy since this is quite an airy scent. The most appropriate season to wear this is in spring because the aromatic lavender and vanilla would work best on a 60-70 degree Fahrenheit day. This could be marketed as a unisex scent since it isn't particularly masculine. The longevity is decent, and the projection is about arms length for the first hour then sits closer to the skin. It is a more refined and modern version of Le Male. I should mention that this is a review of the older formulation, not the new 2024 one.

I have no idea why Prada keeps discontinuing their best fragrances. The fact that Luna Rossa Ocean is still on shelves speaks volumes about how Prada is handling their fragrances now... Regardless, Luna Rossa Sport is a great one in the line probably the best besides Black. It is sweet, lavandery, fresh and clean in the same time. Its opening reminds me of Le Male as well, but the drydown and the backbone of it is very clearly Prada. Soapy, clean. Its performance is surprisingly good for an edt and projects well in my experience. I really want to own a full bottle of this, I think it's a great addition to any collection. A more modern and fresher version of Le Male. 9/10 for me, but I'm biased towards Prada.

I’m now on my third wearing of this. I bought a partial bottle from a fragrance group on Facebook and took a chance on it. I liked it the first wearing and my opinion has improved each time. I don’t get the sense there’s much projection. I can smell it on myself, but only get a real good whiff if I bring my wrist up near my nose. But the other reviewer who said they like it after a shower is spot on. I love wearing it after a shower at home. Very clean and fresh. I agree on the vanilla note, but I get a sense of a little tobacco from my skin. Maybe it’s an interaction with my shower gel or my skin chemistry, because no one else has mentioned that note. Overall, for a freshie it’s one of my new favorites.

I absolutely adore this fragrance. It definitely has some Le Male vibes with its vanilla/lavender-forward nature. It is a much more modern fragrance and unbelievably versatile. In the fragrance is much lighter and becomes clean and soapy with the juniper and ginger coming forward and the vanilla and lavender playing support roles; in the winter, the roles reverse with the vanilla and lavender coming to the top and it is much heavier, denser, sweet and not too fresh. Beautiful fragrance, I go nose blind to it very easily unfortunately, otherwise I would wear it as my signature scent. Women absolutely love this fragrance too. It's my wife's favorite on me. 9/10

I am looking for this Fragrance in its Og format pictured above. I have been sending back bottles that I ordered from FragranceNet, FragranceX and Jomashop who all have the silver bottle pictured in their listings but sending me the all red bottle. The All red bottle is a reformulated version. I’m not a fan of the “Hay” Note or the Poor Longevity. They in Fact smell completely different to my nose. I need the OG Please If Anyone has the Silver/Red bottle of Luna Rossa sport for sale, please reach out to me [email protected] or Write me on here. I need to purchase 2 bottles at the minimum If at all possible

I think the slight reformulation did it really well, a surprising amount of aromatic lavender on an almondy tonka backdrop. Very pleased with how lavender is stronger than vanilla. Reminds me of L’ Occitane EDT and Prada Luna Rossa EDT, the lavender used is genuinely identical with similar amber bases. Not sure if i prefer this over the original though, considerably stronger performance at a cost of less freshness, although the original did give me a slight headache from the mint at some points. I just wish there was a sweetened lavender fragrance that was somewhere between this and Caron pour Homme

Such an underrated fragrance that is held back by the comparisons to the original le male. Luna Rossa Sport is an amazing vanilla-forward lavender supporting scent that is extremely versatile. If I just need an inoffensive scent and want to smell clean this is my go-to. I do wish you could find this cheaper because even at discounters it really isn't that much discounted but even with that I don't have any real complaints about this fragrance. Edit: Throughout summer this has performed surprisingly well. This fragrance is an EDT and I get around 8-10 hours of longevity with average sillage.

Love at first sniff. It's so beautiful. I think the name 'sport' and the colour of the bottle are a little misleading in the sense that 'sport' can evoke a generic 'citrus' tone, but this is anything but a generic, sporty, masculine fragrance. It's quite soft and pillowy, mostly vanilla and tonka (just a hint, not overpowering). In that regard, I guess it can be considered gym appropriate. Very different to any male fragrance I've ever tried, and I absolutely ADORE it on my skin. Daniela Andrier has me in the chokehold again. I bought it on the spot this morning, and I have zero regrets.

Love this stuff. Definitely in the Armani Code wheelhouse, which is probably why. I love that DNA. If I was blindfolded, and had never smelled this before, I probably would have guessed something Armani, not Prada. The Luna Rossa DNA is definitely present here, but it lurks layers deep beneath the lavender and tonka. Either way, the 'sport' part of the naming convention aside (doesn't really fit this fragrance tbh), this is an incredibly good offering from Prada and one of my favorites from the house. I'm curious to get my nose on the new 'sport', but happy to have this in my collection.

I love this. A great compliment pulling clean powdery scent. I don’t care what they’re saying at the store , the red silver bottle I have does not smell like the new all red bottle . The new bottle is more tobacco heavy with stronger hay. After wearing it for a day I returned it. The red silver is more vanilla lavender and smells a lot better. It’s a 8.8/10 ⭐️ Side note: The first time I smelled Prada Sport it did remind me of a fresher Prada black but with better performance and no coumarin. Black was my favorite Prada until I smelled Sport. This is their best scent imo.

I'm not a huge fragrance head nor do I have the right words to accurately describe this one, but it's a star player of the Luna Rossa line. This should be the QB of the lineup. Sport smells warm, creamy and sexy without being heavy. I'd argue that the OG should've been the sport due to its fresher qualities. Using the OG Luna Rossa as a base and layering this on top resolves longevity issues you may have with the LR line and makes for one hell of a scent profile. One of the few scents I'd say is a 100% safe blind buy, I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't love this one.

Prada sport has been my signature cool weather scent for a few years. I know the scent very well. Based on a popular "reviewer" opinion, I opted to get the new bottle because he claimed they were different. Do not be fooled. The new 2024 version is IDENTICAL to the old one. If you are considering getting the 2024 one for a twist on prada sport, don't waste your time. They are the exact same and now I have to sell a bottle because of my mistake. That being said, the fragrance is as good as ever and I think the new bottle is a lot nicer for what it's worth.

To me I would classify this as a modern fougere, I get the barbershop vibe from the lavender but its warmed up by the vanilla and tonka. There is a freshness mixed in which I believe is the juniper and ginger but its blended very well to the point I cant pick them out (the perfumer is a master at her art). The real magic for me is when this is smelled in the air, in passing and more naturally rather than when I dig my nose into the crevice of my elbow. Its not too sweet (compared to modern mens fragrances) and has a nice aromatic feel to it.

First impressions last night: I was umboxing/reviewing (first impressions) 9 fragrances last night and by the time I reached this one I couldnt smell it. I could still smell the rest of them but not this one. Now testing it again, I smell it loud and clear. The Prada Luna Rossa Ocean DNA with more lavender and vanilla. It does kinda remind one slightly of Le Male but its far off. Honestly not a one for one. Kinda reminds me of Gucci Guilty Elixir de Parfum, but that one has a nuttyness from the strong almond note. I like this a lot.

Really great barbershop-esque fragrance without being too harsh on the nose, it's very smooth. Has some similarities to Le Male, but in my opinion it's a much better fragrance, adds the classic Prada soapiness/powder. More mass appealing. Has gotten me compliments, which I can't say about a ton of fragrances. Wish I bought the 100ml and not the 50ml. Could easily be someone's signature scent due to its versatility and its uniqueness. Performance is average for Longevity and Sillage. Massively underrated in my opinion. 9/10

It’s long lasting but subtle. Can’t see why no-one else thinks this smells like the discontinued/reformulated Dior Homme. The Lavender and Vanilla give off IRIS vibes to my nose along with the Tonka. I get the Armani Code similarities and it does smell like one of the recent Le Male flankers but not so much the OG. All year round scent except really high heat. Doesn’t smell sporty, it’s warm and cosy and sexy. A date night scent, excellent if you want something that’s subtle but long lasting. Age 18+. More ‘male’. 8/10.

Sweet soap and tonka. This fragrance completely embodies the feeling of that first nice spring day after a long winter. The first time of the year that you finally break out the shorts. It’s not too hot, but it’s comfortable. A brisk wind blows through the freshly budded leaves. Clean, versatile sweetness that comes with surprisingly good performance and longevity. Extreme heat makes this go a little sour on my skin, but anything under 75°F is fair game in my eyes. Such a refreshing sweetness to this fragrance. 8.5/10

The fact that so many people troll this fragrance says everything. It's crazy how many people disregard this perfume entirely. It's like WTF? are you serious? where's your argument? I mean it's NOT EVEN A SPORTY FRAGRANCE---yet noone talks about that. I would expect people to complain it's not strong enough or maybe doesn't last long enough, but all I see is the the same trolling on the same topics! I could go on, but I'll be happy placing the only Prada I've ever liked high on my personal fragrance list.

The pre-2024 version (Silver/Red bottle) is basically a smoother, more mature version of JPG Le Male. I love it. It lasts surprisingly long on my skin, which is rare for fragrances. If you like Le Male you'll love this. That version of LR Sport has been reformulated/discontinued. The newer all red bottle smells a little different, but even that one is impossible to find in retail stores now, so the Sport line might have been discontinued by Prada, or they're planning to release a new version this year.

I picked up a bottle of this tonight and can’t stop sniffing my arm. Sexy, powdery but light and fresh at the same time. I feel like this “Sport” flanker is the daytime counterpart to Prada Luna Rossa “Black”. Definite Le Male vibes but more refined and contemporary. The vanilla/tonka bean is so smooooooth. I saw a rumor of this getting discontinued but it’s still listed on Prada’s website so hopefully not. I may spring for a backup just in case because this stuff is gorgeous.

I bought this for my husband because, years ago when we first met, he used to wear Victorinox Swiss Army Classis EDT. His old bottle of Swiss Army must have gone off a bit because it doesn't smell as sexy and good as it used to - but - the Prada's Luna Rossa Sport smells identical, at least to my untrained nose. I am very happy with this purchase and so is my beloved. It brings those old beautiful memories from nearly 25 years ago... and that's good enough for me.

Prada fragrances have common points. cargo de nuit and luna rossa black or sport are not that different from each other. When you pay 300 euros and buy cargo de nuit, you get demoralized when you see that it smells the same as a prada between 30-75 euros. Most of the prada product fragrances are great, but I suggest you do some search cheaper options before purchasing. And a note : I don't understand how a weak fragrance like prada amber can get such ratings.

Daniela Andriers work with Prada, specifically the Luna Rossa line, has been phenomenal. It’s my all time favorite line of fragrances and the only line I’ve felt compelled to collect all of. It’s 60% similar to both Le Male and Prada Black. Like a blend of the 2. But it’s different enough to justify for me. I’m a sucker for powdery, sweet vanilla/lavender bombs, and this does it to damn near perfection. Not quite as good as Prada Black but it’s real close.

I just bought a 100 ml bottle of this from AllBeauty the UK and the bottle that arrived has a painted red base/ lower section and red tinted translucent upper portion. It does not have the metal jacket case and the batch code suggests it was produced in 2022. Have I been conned is this authentic - is this a reformulation and re design of the bottle or is it just a fake? Everything else including the scent and box look legitimate. I'm confused

My current obsession. I'm almost happy that the marketing of this fragrance is so bad, that i almost didn't even concider trying it sport ?! Every other random name would be more fitting. Prada Luna Rossa Stone, Luna Rossa Door, Luna Rossa Education, Luna Rossa Farewell. those who look for a "sport" fragrance will be disappointed - and those who want this, will never find it. At least that protects it from becoming mainstream

This projects on me like a beast, I dont know if it has anything to do with the weather or my skin, but the longevity is insane. It smells spicy, yet sweet, in the opening i get ginger a lot but the drydown it mellows and smells sweet. Its a great scent and I had a compliment the first day I worse this at work. For an EDT this prohects crazy tho, better than my Luna Rossa Ocen EDP. Overall its a great high quality fragrence.

Prada Luna Rossa Sport doesn’t play games. It kicks off fast with juniper: clean, sharp, a little punchy. Then the lavender hits and things smooth out. What starts as athletic turns almost cozy, with tonka running the midfield. This isn’t your typical “sport” scent. It’s got muscle, but it’s dressed in cashmere. One of my top five because when I wear it, ain't no trouble on my mind. Well done again, DA got that dope.
