Mirages Miracle of the Rose

Rose and oud is a common combination, but it’s done really nicely here. This rose is jammy, sweet, red and succulent and plays off nicely with the oud. The oud is far from the rubbery, skanky, powering kind many associate with it. Here it almost feels like a peppery cedar and leans light and effervescent. I love the way the sweet and peppery notes play off each together here, and anyone who likes Si by Lolita Lempicka, ManRose by Etro, or Marni Rose with like this as well. In spite of how bright and lively Mirages Miracle of the Rose is, there is a richness to it that makes it feel dressed up and fancy. The rose is rich enough upon first spray to make this slightly feminine, but once it dries down the oud kicks in it turns more unisex, at lease on me. Well made, attention getting, expensive smelling and beautiful, MMOTR gets a standing ovation.

Dark, sexy, and smooth oud rose. A very good one... one that's built up to Prada's posh specifications. Fitted like an exquisite black leather jacket. Mysterious, refined. I love leather with the depth of a good rose+oud combo; it speaks to my soul. While everyone else and their mother is tired of the prevalent rose/oud combo, it still makes my eyes roll back when I catch a whiff. It's so gothic to me, so utterly romantic. And yes... Miracle of the Rose is one of the better ones I have tried. It's an extremely balanced blend... not too much of any one thing. No note is wrestling for attention, not one is too sharp. Just perfect. It would work equally well for men and women as a great winter fragrance. If I did not already have my treasured Valentina Oud Assoluto (also rose/oud/leather), I'd seek out a bottle of this.

I was sleeping on this for way to long. Regret that I didn’t buy a full bottle... At first I thought : Oh that’s a NO for me... 1 hr later still a no. After month or so I used it again, and I started loving it so much... Now I’m obsessed. It is such a gorgeous perfume... I can smell tobacco, rose is on the background kinda, Oud is warm and woody, I think patchouli and tobacco make it little spicy, gives it little more twist and it goes well together. Leather add richness to it. Performance is around 9 hrs I would say, after 4 hrs ish it’s more of close to you, so you’re in this beautiful bubble , just enjoying the smell... Its simply a masterpiece. You have to try it for yourself to fall in love

OMG. This is SO amazing. Rose and I don’t always “get along” but here we certainly do. This is a beautiful, lovely, authentic smelling rose plus smoke plus patchouli. When first applied it makes me think of black pepper. The smokiness was the most surprising to me and the blend of that with the rose is unusual and so appealing. I really love this! Got an almost full bottle for a good price. This is expensive, but definitely going to buy a back-up from Prada. It’s THAT good. Recommend for anyone who loves a strong smoky rose. One of the best rose and oud combos I have ever smelled. I encounter a rose oud perfume almost daily here in Dubai, but none of them smell like this. Realistic, strong rose smell that works incredibly well with the tobacco. The oud here is not skanky or animalic, it is rather subdued (but extremely high quality smelling) and very seductive. A perfect, night time smell. It seems to have amazing performance and while expensive, it is easy to see why. It is the first time that I encounter a rose oud smell that I want to wear, so I need to give this a few wears to pull the trigger on the full bottle.

I tried this today and for me, it's the best oud+rose I ever felt. Maybe I'm overreacting, need to try more fragrances, but the rose on this one is a masterpiece. Before trying this, Roja Aoud was the best rose but after trying this, it took the first place by far. In my skin it has a medium/close projection but the longevity is about 8hrs easy. I really like more rose fragrances, oud to me should be in second place, just like this one. I really loved it!

Masterpiece. Best rose&oud combo I have EVER tried. Nothing can be comparable to this one. It is refined, balanced, stable, rich, unisex, sophisticated, and mysterious. I don't get one thing, why nobody talk about this one? it is MUCH better than any designer generic sh~t. And it was already discontinued. I am glad I got 2 bottles!

Oud/rose/leather combo done by the book. If you love this type of fragrances, this is one of the best. Extremely beautiful and luxurious. Top class niche level quality with Super longevity and powerful projection.

Its magical, mysterious, sexy... the oud and rose combo is just perfect for a special event on a winter night... 10/10

A very bold, spiced, dark rose-oud. Saffron isn’t listed in the notes here, but it is listed in Prada’s description. There’s a mystery fruity note in the very beginning, but it quickly disappears. I'm not picking up much tobacco (which seems to be lower down in the mix), and find the leather note to be akin to a new motorcycle jacket. The patchouli gives the whole concoction a nice strong base to land on. If you’re an oud aficionado, you’ll find this pretty average, a bit synthetic, and a little scratchy. However, I do think this is a perfectly acceptable fragrance for oud beginners to experience. It’s also a solid evening or date-night scent for baddies and goths alike, and a good one for rainy days as well. For the current going-price, I’d personally reach for Les Sables Roses by Louis Vuitton instead, which is akin to this, but much sleeker.

I had high hopes for this, so far its disappointing. The best part is the tobacco drydown. Will still keep it as it was half price.

I got a sample of this and wore it a little. This is a striking fragrance. The rose, the out and the patchouli make for a strong opening concoction that is striking and intriguing. After a little wile, the leather and tabaco assert themselves, perhaps overpowering the rose too much for my taste.

An oud rose combo created by Daniela Andrier. The beautifull tobacco note mixed with a velvet patchouli transforms the trivial scent into a prada perfume. Very chic!

This one is A BEAST. Tiniest spray project very strong fragrance. It's very high quality. The oud is more prominent than rose. Bottle is gorgeous.

Roses, oud, and a sweet, sticky base. It reminds me of Rouge Chaotique or Renne de Nuit of Byredo, but with a much darker oud dirty animalicity.

Underneath the rose it smells exactly like Fragile from JPG! So yummy.
