Paradigme Le Parfum

Walked into my local Macy's today looking for the Ralph's Club New York Parfum, which they had, alongside the MYSLF Eau de Toilette Intense and the Prada Paradigme LE Parfum. Definitely not what I expected walking in. The price point on the Prada is wild, no question, but if you really enjoyed the original Paradigme, everything people are saying about this one being deeper, darker, denser, and more mature is absolutely accurate. The geranium and woods are much more prominent here, and even deep into the dry down there’s this almost creamy cocoa-powder nuance. It never actually smells like chocolate, but there’s a texture to it that gives that impression. Performance is honestly ridiculous. At around the eight-hour mark, it was still projecting stronger than the original Paradigme did fresh off the spray for me. That was one of the biggest complaints people had with the original despite loving the scent profile, and Prada absolutely addressed it here. What surprised me most is how much more masculine and confident this version feels while still keeping the DNA intact. There’s a noticeable vanillic warmth, but it never crosses into being overly sweet or youthful. It stays versatile, refined, and smooth while amplifying everything people loved about the original. More depth, more density, more maturity, and a significantly stronger presence overall. At first, I wasn’t immediately blown away by the original Paradigme when I first started wearing it. It became one of those fragrances I appreciated more and more over time as I started noticing the nuance. This version grabbed me instantly. Good on Macy's too, because these are three fragrances you really can’t find much information about right now. The Prada especially would’ve been easy to overlook. The biggest visual difference on the box is that the little “Paradigme” plaque is white with black lettering on the Eau de Parfum, while the LE Parfum flips it with a black plaque and white lettering. That’s actually how I identified it. They opened a box for me so I could sample it, and once I sprayed it on skin, there was no walking away from it. Honestly, there was no walking away from any of the three. Thank God for Star Rewards. The MYSLF EDT Intense was apparently still supposed to be an online exclusive until June 1st, which made finding it in-store even crazier. Between that, the Ralph’s Club New York Parfum, and the Prada LE Parfum, this turned into one of those days I’ll probably always remember as a frag head. I would’ve been thrilled just getting my nose on one of these. Instead, I got to sample all three and somehow walked out owning all three. Absolutely epic fragrance day.

Better than the normal Paradigme. This is a huge upgrade over the first one, it has more depth to it and actually it unique on it's own, very good perfume. I actually love this and prefer this over the first Paradigme, the first one was so generic that i felt like it was like any other fragrance which is okay for some but useless for most of the people that want to stand out from the crowd. This time Prada did an excellent job making it more refined. The fragrance itself is unique enough, but not unique enough to justify the price. Such a beautiful vanilla note that stands out. Longevity, sillage: good. Price: fuck no, there are better parfums then this, price very high you can find better alternatives. I guess higher ingredients mean you have to pay more, this is not a niche fragrance what the fuck... Anyways, good for spring, fall and winter but great for night time. Would i buy a 50ml or even a 100ml? fuck no, never. I don't even know if someone would gift me this. Overall: 7/10. Massive upgrade over the first one with great depth to it, price is stupid high for a parfum that ain't that special.

This opens almost identically to the original, but that similarity doesn't last very long. The familiar DNA remains as the foundation, yet this version quickly develops into something noticeably sweeter and more vanilla-forward through the heart and dry down. This is a fragrance that will truly excel in the spring, fall, and winter months. It projects extremely well, has a strong presence without feeling overwhelming, and delivers outstanding performance. Once it's on your skin, expect it to stick around for the entire day. At the end of the day, this is the definition of a designer dumb reach. If you're a fan of the original, there's a very good chance you'll love this too. It's essentially the same winning formula with an extra dose of sweetness and vanilla. It really is that simple. I'm a huge fan of this DNA. While some may call it basic, I see it as a perfect example of mass appeal done right. Sometimes a fragrance doesn't need to reinvent the wheel—it just needs to execute the fundamentals exceptionally well. Rating: 9.5/10

As someone who was very disappointed with the OG Paradigme, I was scared to try this but wow, just wow. As soon as I sniffed it, I fell in love. It is very sweet and vanilla while staying somewhat fresh. Really nice twist on the original DNA, giving it a solid character. I personally don't find it overwhelming as I love strong, sweet, out there and in your face fragrances but I understand this might be too much for people who want to keep it lowkey. Longevity and sillage is really good, fixes the Paradigme's problem. As I'm typing this and smelling the paper, I realize it reminds me of Axe Africa deodorant I used as a kid, which I loved a lot. Not surprising since they share the geranium and vanilla notes. If you love Boss Bottled Absolu, you might like this one. It's like the freshier and non-smoky version of it. Overall, I really enjoyed this perfume. Would definitely consider to get a bottle in the future.

I tried both the EDP and Le Parfum and decided on the Le Parfum. The EDP is very nice, but the projection and longevity are very poor. You can catch the scent in the air at times, but it’s very mild. Le Parfum, though, is very strong. I did 2 sprays on my arm, and 12 hours and a shower later, I can still smell it while typing this. The dominant notes are a very nice blend of leather and vanilla. The opening is creamy, sweet, and vanilla-heavy, but after about 10 minutes, the leather comes into play. It is very balanced, and both notes are present from start to finish. I got the 100ml for 200 CAD, and I’m okay with it overall. I wouldn’t pay more than that, though. I’m planning to use it as my daily driver during the colder seasons, but it is also usable in summer with light spraying. I would give this a 9/10.

This is an amazing, versatile, and long lasting fragrance. I applied this around 3pm yesterday and it's now 2:45p (the day after) and I still have a strong skin scent and scent on clothing. Yes, this was with a ton of sprays b/c that's what I do, but this is the longest lasting fragrance I've ever worn. Projection and silage was fantastic for the first 8 hours. The dry down is much more sweeter than the opening. Even with this being beast mode in longevity and projection... I have a hard time paying over 165 bucks for anything. I usually try to find things online somewhere much cheaper. If I were to pay full price for a cologne then this one would be it b/c I can guarantee the longevity, projection, etc. I know I'd get my monies worth to an extent over a 300$ fragrance that disappears in 3-4 hours.

I enjoyed the original Paradigme despite it being rather simple. It was a pleasant scent that actually received a lot of compliments, if that’s your thing. The only real drawback I had was performance, which wasn’t terrible, but not great either. Saw that a Parfum version was releasing and decided to try it. Wow, I wasn’t expecting how much stronger and sweeter it would be. This makes itself known, and trades in some of the freshness for a mouth-watering amber. Every time I move or someone walks by I catch the scent strongly, and I absolutely love it. It still remains pretty versatile for how sweet it is, but I’d be careful on those 90+ degree days. It’s pricey but damn is it intoxicating.

I was at the gym and just finished my workout, stretching on a table. What's that I smell? This ridiculously delicious cologne. There must have been a man stretching out here before me. I needed to track him down and find out what this scent was! I looked to the nearby water-jet massage chairs, made my way over, yes! It's him. I interrupted the man in the massage bed and asked him what fragrance he was wearing. He pulled it up on his phone. Prada Paradigme eau de parfum. I went home and ordered the largest bottle from fragrancenet for my man. Scrumptious!

Paradigme EDP is one of my favorite scents. I use it as my dumb reach everyday fragrance. Was very excited to try the Le Parfum version at Macy’s. It’s definitely heavier and sweeter but def is still the original DNA. As it dries down it does becomes sweeter and honestly pretty close to JPG Le Male Elixir imho just less intensely sweet. It’s almost a better version of that but with the OG Paradigme DNA. Overall I’m 100% going to buy this once it hits discounters. Great fragrance and def a compliment puller.

The original paradigm is one of my favorite go toos. My signature scent. This new le Parfume fixes the longevity issue and sillage from the original. Giving it a spicy hit. Similar to Givenchy Gentleman Society EDP but with the Prada Paradigm DNA. Easily one of, if not the best, mens fragrance of the year. This should go toe to toe with the boring, played out, blue de channel, savage scents this summer and fall. 9.5/10. Price is crazy high but worth it. 4 sprays and you are burning eyeballs!

Warm vanilla, smooth benzoin, and woods blended with a fresh amber which creates a comfy, classy scent that's luxurious and effortlessly refined. This is a big improvement over the original Paradigm with greater depth that is also more rounded and has better performance with projection. I could say this is one of Prada’s best releases in recent years. I recommend this scent to be used during the fall, spring or winter.

The opening is very close to the original EDP, then it evolves into something between SWY and Paradigme EDP, before settling into a dry down reminiscent of Boss Bottled Absolu, but much smoother. Overall, it's a very nice fragrance. It's a bit more mature than the original EDP, but you can't go wrong with either one, I personally wear both in early spring, the EDP during the day and Le Parfum at night.

The best way I can explain this fragrance is that it’s like the fresh cousin of Boss Bottled Absolu. They’re both very resinous, but where Absolu is a very syrupy, sweet resin scent, Paradigme Le Parfum is a very fresh and floral resinous. I love Absolu, but I definitely wouldn't wear it everywhere. I feel like this gives me a similar scent profile in an take that is better for everyday use.

This is a pradigme of the current sweet woody France trends. Starts off fresh like paradigme then mid has facets of azzaro most wanted, hero edp, and a little bubblegum sweetness of Valentino extradose. The far drydown reminds me of mfk grand soir. With all that this is an amazing fall fragrance and if pdm squirted this juice out it’d have a bigger baby than Layton.

It’s SO GOOD! It basically kept the DNA from OG but tones down the floral accord and add an addicted amber. I love both so for me was a Win-Win: the geranium on the OG is good but a little bit youth, almost off puttying... and I love Amber accord but it standalone doesn’t performs well... and in this case, the blend was perfect.

I just got this in the mail yesterday & I love it , more mature , darker , slightly leathery ambery Iris , reminiscent of Prada ocean le Parfum ... just a bit . Dry down reminds of several recent releases but in in particular is phantom red elixir , will give it more a wearing this week and update later so far 8.8/10

Honestly the hate is unwarranted. This adds character to the paradigm DNA that was MUCH needed and gives it a personality that can command attention in a room. It’s a very smooth scent that would be a good addition to anyone’s collection if you can bear the niche price tag for this designer fragrance.

It is surprisingly very interesting and has its own uniqueness; the first 30-60 minutes it gives me a vibe of a burnt candle. What is even more interesting is that when it dries down, it smells close to the 2009 YSL La Nuit De L'Homme.

Well personally this is my favorite scent of the year, and possibly of last year too. This is the first scent that I would call my signature scent. Always excited to use it. Deep, rich, it's all there as far as I'm concerned. Great.

Pricy but definitely overhated. Scent is really nice, very heavy on vanilla and woods; I'm not getting the synthetic comments that others are saying. IMO has much more of an identity compared to the original.

It’s pleasant and in my opinion it’s for a more mature audience unlike the ADP that is for a younger crowd. Tried it today and it’s an absolute must have after ha I g it on for an hour.

This fragrance is miles better than the original and that’s saying something. The amber and vanilla notes are fantastic. The price is a bit high but for me it’s well worth it. 9.3/10.

My first Fragrantica review—and I don't even own this fragrance. I ordered Maison Margiela Jazz Club and Boss The Scent Elixir, and tucked inside the shipping box was a 1.2 mL sample of Prada Paradigme Le Parfum. I own well over 300 fragrances, ranging from inexpensive Middle Eastern powerhouses to high-end niche releases, so I'm fortunate to sample a lot of different scents. I wouldn't describe myself as having a "niche nose"—I simply appreciate good fragrances regardless of price or prestige. I work in an operating room, which stays cool year-round, making it a great environment for testing fragrances that can work in almost any season. I sprayed this on at exactly 6:00 AM before leaving for work. The opening immediately gave me a bright, juicy burst of bergamot that was fresh and inviting without being sharp. By the time I arrived at work, the fragrance had settled into its heart, where the vanilla became the dominant note. It's a smooth, refined vanilla rather than an overly sweet or loud one. This isn't a fragrance that announces itself across the room, but it creates a very pleasant scent bubble that's easy to enjoy throughout the day. Around 2:00 PM, when a coworker relieved me from my case, the first thing she said as she got close was, "I smell cinnamon and vanilla. Is that you?" I explained that I was wearing a sample, and her immediate response was, "You need to buy some more." Interestingly, I never personally detected much cinnamon. I'm guessing what she perceived was the warmth of the Peruvian balsam blending with the vanilla, creating that spicy impression. Over the course of the day, I received three unsolicited compliments, all from people within arm's length. That tells me the projection is moderate rather than massive, but it's clearly still present and attractive even eight hours after application. The final endorsement came when I got home. I hadn't reapplied, yet while I was making dinner my wife asked what I was wearing. After I told her, she simply said, "You should buy a bottle." That pretty much sealed it for me. If you're looking for an attention-grabbing beast mode fragrance, this probably isn't it. But if you appreciate a classy, smooth, well-balanced vanilla with a sparkling citrus opening and excellent longevity, Prada Paradoxe Le Parfum is absolutely worth trying. It wears close enough for professional settings while still leaving enough of an impression to earn genuine compliments. Needless to say, this sample earned a spot on my ever-growing bottle wishlist.

Paradigm Le Parfum is really hard for me to decide on. For context, I really disliked Paradigm EDP, I thought it was a very generic summer scent that I didn't love nor hate. Le Parfum adds some warmth and uniqueness, enough to make me want it, but not enough to make me crave it. Furthermore, it feels very muddled. It's a heavy freshie that introduces vanilla and amber. While I like it, I think I only like it because vanilla and amber are the modern day fragrance buzzwords. Everything needs more amber and vanilla, it feels. To me, it smelled like a combination of Le Male Elixir, Pegasus, and the drydown of Althair, although PDM's scents dont feel as weighty/heavy as this (they're all very light imo) What really happens is between the opening and the drydown is a really muddy warm-yet-fresh-yet-woody-yet-vanillac-yet-almondy smell, and it all combines into this very brown-grey generic amber. It's not bad, it has a role to play, and I might pick up a bottle to peruse throughout the winter and fall, but it really is the product of fragrance trends more than anything. Overall, it's not unique, it'll probably be a crowd pleaser, and on me it has a more reserved sillage but lasted 8hrs.

I'm one of the few here that seems to enjoy the edp over the newly released parfum. This is not worth the price first and foremost especially when there are niche fragrances accessible at this price point. Secondly, I find this to be far less versatile when compared to the edp. I was a fan from the first time I put the edp on skin, I will say I also enjoyed the wearing experience from the parfum concentration but I think the OG Paradigme is a better choice if your looking for a daily driver that checks all the boxes.

To the people who are going so far out of their way to trash a fragrance that 85% of them probably haven’t even smelled are an embarrassment to the fragrance community. The people putting all these gay, pussy, pornstar, and sex related fragrances in the “reminds me of” section are the lowest type of scum on the internet, and they can all go fuck themselves. Grow up, you childish pieces of shit. Those fragrances, ironically, reflect you much more than they do this fragrance.

I like this a lot. It's quite different from the regular Paradigme released the previous year. It's strange to release before Summer - this is cool weather for sure. It reminds me of some other sweet balsamic amber but I'm wracking my brain trying to find the match. It's Gucci Guilty Homme EDP without the rose. It's By The Fireplace without the smoke. It's Memoirs of a Trespasser with a floral note. It's a solid release.

Can't wait to get a full bottle and wear this non stop! Until then it will become more available and maybe even have a justifiable price. This new release fixed the issues Paradigme had. The Longevity is now at a reasonable level and the scent has improved! I understand why Prada were quick to release this.

Opening is tobacco, and the deep dry-down is nice and sweet almost like saffron. Quality is great (almost reminds me of a TF) and projection/longevity is strong. The dry-down can project for weeks on clothes (or even a test strip), and it's (dry) sweet and nice.

This Scent is a bit more intense and spicy on skin, can be cloying in heat. I'm excited to try it out in the coming fall weather but longevity is insane. It will basically last untill your next shower. ESPECIALLY on clothing

Paradigme EDP if they made it less fresh and made it syrupy sweet, like Le Male Elixir. Except this is smoother and less abrasive than Le Male Elixir. The performance on this is crazy, leaves a trail for at least 8 hours.

it's good but I have ultra male which is better for the same temperature/seasons this isn't a full bottle buy maybe 10-30mL

Lowkey reminds me of PDM layton minus the Vicks vapor rub note. Pretty solid fragrance - hate is so forced.

Paradigme Le Parfum is a predominantly amberwoods fragrance that, as a collector and someone with extensive familiarity with the designer space, unfortunately falls flat in bringing anything new to the table... even while smelling good. My thoughts may be a bit controversial, as the common opinion is that “Parfum” versions released after EDPs tend to receive more positive feedback and are often viewed as improvements over the original iterations. In this case, I still prefer reaching for the EDP. The EDP version of Paradigme is a fresh, spicy geranium, benzoin, and Peru balsam bomb, with a stunning effervescence and, in my humble opinion, the epitome of a classy designer DNA. It is a perfect all-purpose scent that shines in summer but still works in winter. This Le Parfum version falls slightly flat for me. It is overwhelmingly sweet, more winter-leaning due to the increased woody, vanilla, and amber notes, and that ultimately becomes its downfall: it brings nothing new to the genre. If I want an amberwoods fragrance, I’m still reaching for Dior Homme Parfum 2025, another release in a genre that has been done to death. The highly synthetic drydown leaves a lot to be desired for such an expensive piece. I understand the community’s love for it, and it does have good longevity, but I find it rather boring and repetitive overall. 3/5 stars

Nothing ground breaking here. The opening is very similar to the EDP but quickly evolves into an amberwood-y mess. It has enough with the geranium and balsam to be detected as Paradigme, but the amber/vanilla combo is par for the course alongside every other Le Parfum/absolu/elixir type flanker that’s come out in the last 3 years. If you already own one of those, you can probably just hold on and buy something else. But I can see the appeal to someone who doesn’t have an extensive collection

Better than the OG fasho but does it worth 210 dollars? Heck no! Like what are they smoking??? (I hated the OG btw...)

I liked the original because there was some freshness to it, but why oh why did they ruin this fragrance by making this a diabetic sugary disaster that smells like invictus victory elixir? All I really smell in this is caramel, they should not have removed the juicy pear and jasmine that the original had which made it fresher Edit - this also has similarities to the EDP and Parfum luna rossa ocean

The real Prada was sold. It no longer exists. Since luna rossa ocean, Prada has been gone. Some of my BEST fragrances are Prada. I will keep trying their releases, in hopes of liking something.....eventually. I find it funny that there are ppl who actually think they have an impact on silencing other ppl. Differing opinions are offensive

Prada Paradigme Le Parfum reminds me of a type of fragrance that JPG would release, it slightly reminds me of JPG Le Male Elixir. Definitely on the sweeter side but not overwhelming. However, I do not tend to like sweet fragrances but there is my take.

I really liked this scent when I first put it on, and after an hour I began to dislike it. This scent started to become really synthetic feeling and gave me a headache. I tried to wash it off several times and it would not go away.

my first impressions, from a couple sprays on the hand is that 1) the fragrance has very strong performance and 2) it's overwhelmingly sweet (up close). In the air it's okay, but still very sweet.

Brutally honest, this is vanillic ambroxan. I will never respect a male that wears such a scent. Prada used to be my favorite designer house. They should have never sold out

I really wanted to like this but it’s so strong in the opening and reminds me of Le Male Elixer mixed with Versace Eros

Well-made, beautiful orris and warm amber, but it feels like another variation of the same designer formula. Since L'Oréal took over Prada Beauty, I miss the creativity of the Olfactories collection. Too many recent releases from Prada, YSL, Valentino, Mugler and other L'Oréal brands feel like the same piss in a bottle, safe and increasingly interchangeable, each with a very slightly different hint, but built on the same commercial DNA. I miss when brands had their own unmistakable identity, now they are all the same

You got your Le Male in my Paradigm No you got your Paradigm in my Le Male Bad. Like, Bad bad. I HATE all of these muddy amber chemicals. This smells like a lattafa. Cheap and muddy. If all you care about is longevity this might be a win for you. I've been trying to scrub this stuff off and it's just not moving. I've smelled a lot of latafa fragrances in my day. The same exact cheap hyper synthetic dry down. They ruined the paradigm DNA. This is consumer slop. Nothing more.

This is actually horrible. The worst release of 2026 so far. It’s like an airy fresh fragrance fighting to be a sweet sugary mess. Horrible blend, washed it off immediately.

Miserable cash grab of a fragrance. Unpleasant and chemical soup, it can’t even have the decency of smelling nice but boring. Such a shame to see this come from Prada. F-

This is the most boring release of all time
