I genuinely cannot comprehend why this fragrance got so much hate when it released. Sure, it is not reinventing the wheel, but honestly, who cares? What it does, it does extremely well. Not every fragrance needs to smell like an ancient sacred forest blessed by monks and bottled during a blood moon to be worth wearing. If I was new to fragrances and looking for my first, second or even third bottle, this would be right near the top of the list alongside the big designer staples like Sauvage, Bleu de Chanel, Y and Myslf. It is an almost perfect daily signature scent. And honestly, all the fragrances people claim this is “copying”, I think Prada managed to take that DNA and polish it up even more. So yes, for collectors with 40 bottles already sat on a shelf, this might feel a bit redundant. But for somebody newer to the hobby? This is an excellent choice. As for the scent itself, it is a super safe but sophisticated take on the classic geranium and amber woods style DNA, with a healthy bit of bergamot thrown in because apparently Prada understands that bergamot makes basically everything better. It is floral, citrusy and ambery in a really youthful and energetic way. This is not old money sophistication like Dior Homme Parfum or something darker from Givenchy. This feels modern, clean and confident without trying too hard. Using Tom Holland as the face of the fragrance was honestly perfect because he is basically the exact target audience for this scent, youthful, approachable and effortlessly put together. Go give it a try and ignore the internet hate train. You will probably end up wondering what everyone was complaining about. Also, if you like this, you will probably love Invictus Victory Absolu. It gives a very similar vibe but swaps the geranium out for black pepper and leans sweeter overall. Another underrated banger.

Mass appealing = a scent designed to be instantly likable to the widest possible audience. Somewhere along the way, that became synonymous with “not challenging enough.” We lean toward niche, assuming it’s inherently better, but "niche" has become a buzzword for just different. It doesn't automatically mean a scent is better—it just means it was designed for a narrower audience. Now sometimes that’s beautiful—sometimes it’s just for you. But at some point, you just want to step out of the house and smell incredible.....to the masses (see what I did there). 😉 Now this community of ours that we check in with everyday can be tough on these "mass-appealing" scents, calling them boring or redundant. And after years of owning "artistic" bottles that sat on the shelf because they weren't actually pleasant to wear nor very wearable, I’ve realized there is genuine artistry in a scent that simply works. Paradigme is sophisticated, mature, and incredibly versatile. To the average person we interact with every day, this is a 9/10 or maybe even 10/10. My wife (a fellow hobbyist) loves it. It makes you feel polished and smells amazing in every situation. It’s not about chasing the loudest or the weirdest scent anymore. It’s just about what smells good. And to me, this is a true mass appealing fragrance, in the most complementary way possible.

I picked this up as one of my very first fragrances, alongside Creed Aventus and Prada L'Homme, so expectations were already a bit all over the place. At first, I honestly didn’t get it. Something about it felt confusing, like it didn’t fully click with me. I ended up putting it aside for almost two months and barely touched it. In the meantime I wore things like Aventus, Speed Legends, and Imagination, so my nose started to understand different styles a bit better. Coming back to Prada Paradoxe after that was a completely different experience. Now it just makes sense. What I didn’t appreciate at first now feels smooth, clean and quietly elegant. It’s not loud or trying to impress immediately, but that’s exactly why it works. It sits close, feels refined, and has that “easy reach” quality where you just know it won’t go wrong. I actually started enjoying it more with each wear, to the point where it went from “I don’t understand this” to something I genuinely like having in rotation. This one taught me that first impressions can be misleading sometimes you just need a bit of experience (and patience) for a fragrance to open up to you.

I honestly can't believe this fragrance only has a 3.5 rating. Is it groundbreaking? No. Is it some exotic creation no one has ever smelled before? No. Are people going to mistake it for some niche scent? Nope. But does it smell really, really good? Yes it does. On top of that, it has great longevity - something a lot of fragrances seem to struggle with these days. I get it - for Prada, fragheads were probably expecting something more unique with a "wow" factor. But as someone who owns quite a few fragrances myself, I have to say I'm grabbing a bottle for the simple fact that it's a super easy reach, smells great, and the wife LOVES it. And I should mention that I own Polo '67 EDT, which I also love, and thought at first this was too redundant. But it's just different enough that I want to have both in my collection. I was going to say it's a shame more people maybe won't smell this because of the rating. However, it's really only fragrance buffs that spend much time here, so I'm certain a lot of normal folks will get their noses on this, and a lot of guys will probably get it for Christmas - most of whom will be very happy indeed.

The most likable scent out there in my opinion. I have yet to come across anyone in real life that doesnt like this stuff. Women love it too! My mom and girlfriend both loved it the first time I wore it. Its generic though, so, if that is not your thing, then there's no reason to go for this. Personally, thats my favorite style so I love the stuff. Its pretty simple; it's a 2 layer fragrance. It starts off fresh, sweet, and slightly green. Slightly similar to coach green, so the green part is not off putting at all. The only noyes i can detect at this point is a lot of geranium and a little citrus. Then it dries down to a sweet, bubbling amberwood with a tiny tinge of the Prada soapy backbone. Performance is good, I get about 7 hours. Projection is also solid, 5 sprays and people could smell me from a little over arms length. Overall, this stuff is amazing and I do not understand the hate! Sure, it isn't groundbreaking. But, it perfected mass appeal and I'll choose Paradigm any day over the likes of Sauvage, Myslf edp, Ysl Y edp, etc. 9/10

In my opinion, Paradigme is a much better fragrance than many people give it credit for. It’s in the same league as YSL Myslf or Polo 67. However, I think Paradigme is a more refined and masculine scent than Myslf. The opening is sweet and resinous, and as time goes on, this sweet scent evolves into a floral, slightly spicy, and slightly minty direction. Since this is a perfume with an inverted scent pyramid, bergamot and musk remain after the scent fades, which is rather forgettable. This fragrance is a true Swiss Army knife—it works in every situation and is perfect for almost every season, though it’s best in spring and fall. Many people hate Paradigm because it isn’t innovative enough... I don’t think that’s a problem; after all, it’s a designer perfume. However, a major drawback of this perfume is that its sillage and projection are terrible, even by Prada standards. Regardless, I think it’s worth buying, but be prepared to spray twice as much of it as you would with an average perfume.

Paradigme is one of those super easy, mass-appealing designers that just works. And that’s not a knock at all—because despite how wearable it is, it still manages to feel pretty unique. There really aren’t many fragrances that smell quite like it. It’s built around a smooth, sweet amber base layered with clean, masculine florals. The guaiac wood ties everything together perfectly, and the balance is spot on—nothing sticks out or overpowers the blend. It just flows. Honestly, if someone has something negative to say about this one, I’d question it. Sure, scent is subjective, but this is the kind of fragrance that the vast majority of people will genuinely enjoy. I’d give it an 8.5/10 overall, and it’s about as safe of a blind buy as it gets. If your style leans toward easy, non-challenging, everyday wear, it jumps up to more like a 9.5/10.

I absolutely LOVE this. It’s just an all around great scent.ode the amber notes it gives off. Reminds me a bit of the dry down in BDC but paradigm is its own thing. Honestly I can see makes wearing this spring fall winter day or night. Summer may be a bit heavy but it could work. My wife absolutely loves this one too. I ended up getting a bottle recently because it’s just that good imo. I couldn’t care less if this is “mass appealing” that’s why I like it! I enjoy compliments and I enjoy smelling good. It’s not a frag measuring contest for me. Truly I think this is great fragrance for me and amped to wear more of it. Great for any occasion. Dress up or down. You’re gonna smell great. This is my first Prada frag too. Usually only buy Chanel or LV. This one really made me amped to own it.

Super simple but very easy reach of a fragrance. Not necessarily groundbreaking of a scent profile that I really just don't know how to describe likely because I just can't describe how geranium smells. Very mass appealing, I always pull in a compliment whenever I wear this and it performs pretty good for a designer and the value has gotten better now that it has hit discounters. Best friend gifted it for me after we went out smelling stuff at Sephora and it's a pretty easy reach for me and I felt like I was wearing it more than others for a bit. Not really super similar to other popular designers, however the closest one in my collection that it comes to is YSL MYSLF L'Absolu, even though the notes are completely different. Not similar to each other, but same realm of scent profile.

I thought it was a joke. L'Oreal was kidding us again. But I really have to admit this is getting in the first line lately on my shelf. I have on heavy rotation Jo Malone OUD & Bergamot and Brioni Intense, along with Terre D'hermes EDP ... Paradigme reminds me of Chanel Platinum Egoiste, Creed Green Irish Tweed ... I don't mean literally, but figuratively speaking. It's almost a classic. It's a mature fougere fragrance that has depth, stamina and class. It lacks all the ugliness of modern fragrances. It's very well balanced, and hits the sweet spot between fresh and oriental. Not even the slightest annoyance, not even in the dry down. Price wise it's doable. No harm feelings at the cash register either. If you like my thoughts, hit the 👍 button.

This is “BASIC” Done to perfection. I Can’t wait for this to hit Discounters. I am on my 3rd bottle 🫣. This smells like nothing else I have in my collection. I have all 3 Flankers of the Ysl Myself. To me Paradigme not only doesn’t share its DNA, but I constantly pick this over Myself Every single day ! Remember folks when Myself hit the scene “it was basic”, “It’s boring!” , “not challenging” and yet it’s been one of the most hyped up fragrances all 2025. I believe there will be turning point on the opinions of Paradigme as well. I am a collector but I adore the Basic freshies with longevity. This has done that for me 😉 Especially when PDMs New Valero is Pradas Paradigme, Ysl Myself, Doir Sauvage done POORLY for almost $600. I love this Juice 🔥

I'm generally not a huge fan of most Prada scents due to the signature soapy note but I don't get a lot of that in this one which must be why I love it. So much so, I got a full bottle. I've also figured out I must just be a sucker for geranium as a lot of my favorites contain it and this one is no exception. This is a fresh, office-safe, all around easy reach while being different enough to stand out in my collection and I feel it's pretty usable year-round. If you are a fan of the Prada signature DNA then you will probably enjoy the le parfum more than this one, but if that note is what's kept you from adding a Prad to your collection then give this one a shot.

Interestingly, it starts in the middle – fresh and floral right out of the gate. Soon, the balsamic elements rise, green and sometimes citrus accords weaving through without overtly standing out. There’s a real shift to the nose, a kind of olfactory shape-change that makes the name feel fitting. I don’t catch the MYSLF resemblance; those are brighter, more overtly feminine. It does sort of follow the floral trends as of now. But Paradigme leans into an ambery undertone that feels true to Prada, even if it didn’t come from DA’s hand. Familiar notes at first glance, but the tailoring could only be from this house.

Overhated as hell just because its unoriginal and generic? All the while imagination smells like a fucking head and shoulders shampoo yet is the most glazed and overrated fragrance of recent times... This is a really nice sweet but fresh scent, kinda like bubblegum. Lowkey addictive. So what its "generic" (which I dont even agree with) it still smells amazing. Combination of fresh and sweet makes it versatile and good for any season and occasion and gives it youthful but masculine character. Becoming one of my favorite frags. Definitely try for yourself before you jump on the hate train.

I truly don't understand the hate this fragrance gets. Just because it might smell a bit generic, that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. I think the Prada Paradigme EDP is an amazing, all year round fragrance with huge potential for a signature scent. It is also so versatile, you can wear it for school, work, as a daily driver, for dates, the gym, during the day, at night, etc... It is really hard to dislike in my opinion, yes it's mass appealing but I think it still smells fresh, sophisticated and unique enough to not exactly blend in with other similar fragrances.

Paradigme is fantastic. I blind bought a bottle as it was something new and exciting from Prada without doing much research. I then saw all the polarizing reviews online and got pretty nervous about my choice. I finally got it and I gotta say that I do not see where the frustration comes from... I think this scent is a (green) gem and will likely be my new daily driver for the office and daily use. On my skin, it feels like a sweeter JPG Le Male Le Parfum, or at least a good compliment! I might layer the two together for an exciting after-hours combo! 🙂

dandavis087 It will indeed perform better after macerating for several weeks (check out my review somewhere below), but they call it an opening for a reason, it's not supposed to last more than a couple of hours. For me it starts off at a maximum level of resinous sweetness and after a couple of hours the sweetness dials back to get mixed with floral spicyness and some powderness (Geranium does have a somewhat minty scent, I guess one might call it "fresh", but the whole ensemble to me is rather spicy than fresh, may be it's just my skin).

I’m really surprised the rating on this scent. Paradigm is outstanding! It’s my new signature. Not just office safe but versatile enough for your after-7 adventures as well. Woody and amber with just enough spice. It’s a scent that gives off the vibe of someone who has life together but also feels at home in a Henley and jeans. Seriously, the ratings are so polarizing. On one site you’ll see it rated 4.5 and above and others, like here, the gold standard, reviews are much lower. All I know is this... Paradigm is a fantastic fragrance.

This is just so smooth, refined and fresh. Extremely versatile, wearable in any occasion, any time of day, any season. I love the geranium heart combined with the warm amber base. The opening is a soapy bergamot that dissipates quickly, which I don't see as an issue. The only criticism I have is that it has average longevity, sillage and projection. If a flanker comes out that fixes that it's a 10/10. I bring a bottle with me to the office to reapply from time to time. 9/10.

The hate is a little justified, but, for what it's worth, it's still a very nice and pleasant scent. It smells clean fresh floral, with the bergamot in the opening and major geranium for the mid to dry down. It also performs well, I usually get at least 7 hours with nice projection bubble and an okay scent trail. Still, for the price, I'm sure we could do better. I hear good things about the new Le Parfum flanker though, hope to get the chance to try that one out.

When I wear Prada Paradigme, I feel I have become one of the Spider-Men of the modern era. I feel I can swing through the streets of NYC on a chilly day, hot dog in my right hand (since this is my non-dominant hand) and musk in the other (this is my dominant hand). I embody power with a sense of responsibility with this fragrance lathered on my body. If you want to feel like a creation of stan lee, I highly recommend this perfume. Tom Holland/10.

Absolutely gorgeous fragrance! As a woman I can say, this is how I would want my man to smell! It is fresh, and sexy as hell! It leaves a nice masculine fragrance trail everywhere it goes and It is a power house, like the majority of pradas offerings....wear it if you like to announce your arrival and wear it if you like to leave a person still thinking of you the next day...... It Smells even better the next morning on the bed sheets.(😉 🥵)

Prada Paradigme EDP seems to de a divisive fragrance. This review will be brief. Does it smell good? Yes. Does it smell familiar? Somewhat. Is it groundbreaking? No. Paradigme is a dumb reach, everyday fragrance that is mass appealing and will garner compliments in the right circumstances. Slightly overpriced for what it is but not as excessive as the price for the parfum flanker, that is a little more of a situational wear in my opinion.

Paradigme opens with a familiar bubblegummy (Hawas Ice), ambery, musky structure—reminiscent of YSL MYSLF; but the latter's orange blossom note creates a stark distinction between the two. In the drydown, Paradigme is balsamic, resinous, and pleasant. There's just that sharp guaiac bitterness that puts me off upon intimate sniffing; but otherwise, this is a comforting and easy fragrance to wear on any occasion. ✅Excellent

So good signature scent, everyday Fragrance Not only for beginners even for Fragrance enthusiasts Everybody will see that it has something unique and different than other everyday Fragrances I don't like citrusy and lemony(so basic) everyday Fragrances but this is different and unique, it maintained the everyday Fragrance type while being unique and different than the other basic everyday Fragrance in the best way 9/10

This is a perfect office fragrance, and could be a signature scent. It gets a lot of heat from scent snobs but its a pleasant and mass appealing. If you're 40+ and want a scent where EVERYONE will think you smell good without them having to think too hard about it... this is a great choice. To me this is a Swiss Army knife profile. You can wear it anytime and anywhere without offending anyone but the snobs.

This fragrance is just good. A nice sweet scent that feels mature and masculine at the same time. Had to buy at first sniff and instantly fell in love with it. Projection is pretty good but nothing that will offend the people around you, and it lasts a good 4-8 for most people before becoming closer to the skin. And very versatile as it’s a scent that could be worn any time any season. Just a great smell.

In the beginning, I really didn’t care for this and I thought it was quite boring. Only after smelling it a couple more times did it really start to grow on me, it didn’t hurt the fact that my fiancé loved it. Now that I’ve worn it I can see the beauty in it. It really is a nice fragrance, even if it is not anything groundbreaking. Very nice blue shower gel type of fragrance very clean, crisp and soapy.

Simply phenomenal. It’s safe. No one I’ve seen while wearing it has given me some weird compliments like “you smell like an uber”. It’s a clean, easy, dumb reach that you can wear year round. The benzoin, rose geranium, musk, and a tiny bit of that bergamot stick out. A friend hugged me and let out a somewhat concerning moan then asked what I was wearing. this is and easy 9 to a light 10.

Very mass appealing scent. If you are someone that know a thing or two about perfumes well you might find it mehh, boring, disaponting. But deep down you have to know that this is great and anyone using it, they will smell good. The performance and compliments are there and you know it. So dont be a hater. Try it on a 10 ml decant and for the good price i will get a bottle.

This is a great fragrance. Dry down is incredible. Soft, warm, sweet, and just inviting. Those people hating on this are the same people who would say that fart spray is complex and well-blended, as long as it is in an expensive niche bottle... I agree with one of the posts below, that this smells a little bit like Ralphs Club New York to my nose as well. But I love it.

Oh my love where do I even start😂 this has become my favorite designer, overthrowing Spicebomb night vision EDP and I can’t be mad about it. It’s simple yet different. Loud but subtle. Just a very nice and easy frag to enjoy. The new parfum is even better. Theres a reason I have almost finish a bottle already (got it in November) 9/10 (fuck the haters)

This is one of my top 5 favorites of all time. This captures the green sweet minty Irish kind of scent profile even better than GIT. If Irish spring had more complexity this would be it. Maybe I go nose blind to it but I feel like it has less longevity than others seem to indicate. Signature scent worthy and swiss army knife approved 100%.

Genuinely a beautiful scent, last a great amount of time for a freshie, and has a good bottle design. Cant ask for more but a price drop maybe. have found that it starts off very loud and fresh and around the 4 hour mark it turns into this soft clean laundry out of the dryer kinda smell. Overall I'd say its a 9.3 for now.

I noticed this on some randomer in an elevator and asked him what it was. Loved it. Purchased it. Loved it. Fell out of love with it and now I love it again. It hits hard at the start and stays around a long time but the beauty is in the dry down and around hour 8 it just keeps giving this dry, pleasant scent.

Si no me equivoco el paradigma viene con la pirámide olfativa invertida, osea las notoas salen al revés. Es una fragancia muy masculina, fresca, con buena proyección, perfecta para el día a día, casi para cualquier ocasión. No la veo tanto como para salir de noche. 9/10 porque queda criminal en mi piel.

I mean come on. This is unhatable as a fragrance. Wow do i like it much. The first time i had smelled it, i knew i had to buy it. Its super manly, i cant even describe it, you just have to smell it for your self. 10/10 on this one. It smells kind of basic, but its the best of the best doing it.

A very well-rounded green freshie. Perfect for an environment like a school or office where having something stronger or more extravagant would be inappropriate. It doesn't last as long as I'd expect, but it projects very well. It lasts around 2-4 hours in the air and 4-7 hours on skin. 8.5/10

Es la clase de perfume que me gusta ponerme para cuando quiero oler rico y estar en casita, algo para estar en la sala con aire acondicionado y oler mi muñeca de vez en cuando. También podría usarlo para salir a la plaza, es un olor muy agradable, pero siento que esta algo caro.

3rd review of this. Got it about 3 weeks ago. Didn't like it at first. Figured I would have to sell it... since then it has gotten better and better, and fast. Now my fav scent. Addicting. 10/10. Just got imagination this week too, and this stuff smells better.

Not a mindblowing innovative scent, but it's inoffensive, versatile and it just works. People who hate on this are just mad that this is more mass appealing than their $200 buttsex animalic oud fragrances that contaminate the environment within 20m radius.

It's already performing better, and smelling slightly different (definitely better after a couple hours than it was before) and it's only 2 weeks old. I'm impressed. Actually enjoy it much more now and consider it one of my fav scents at this point

This fragrance smells amazing ! Sure it's not the most innovative smell, but it smells clean it's not too strong and won't offend anyone. Really reccomend to anyone that's looking for a good fragrance to wear to school, office or smth like that.

While some say this is a generic or redundant cologne, I still believe it is fantastic. It is easily my most complimented fragrance in my entire collection, and I find it very easy to wear on any occasion. Definitely will rebuy when I run out!

This is a realy refreashing and masculine scent. I usualy dont love masculine fragrances but this one is realy nice and i love the smell. the longevity may not be the best but the silage is realy good so i strongly suggest this one.

I love the smell i just try it in a shop and i try it on my skin and got a small sample with me home and it smell soo wonderfully very fresh and clean and sweet but it dont last long maybe its just me but its very good

I don’t think this fragrance deserves all of the hate it receives on here. Smells great to me, has very good longevity and amazing sillage. I found a 1.7 online for 70 bucks and at that price I think it’s a steal.

Smelled this at Ulta, and I NEED it. Waiting for the price to come down at discounters a bit but I will own this at some point. Fresh, sweet, lightly floral, clean. Everything youd want in a modern daily fragrance

Love this fragrance! Love the bottle and smell, has something to it I can't explain but I enjoy this and see it becoming a staple for me. Versatile and great for any time, season, and occasion.

This is like an updated interpretation of Burberry Brit. Softer rose and powder notes but very nice. It's a higher end zoomer version of Brit but it's worth picking up if you like that DNA.
