Pink Flamingos

Yes, Pink Flamingos is similar to LPRN extrait (which I own and love), but it's still very different, if that makes any sense. As someone already said, this one is fizzy, and I agree. It's also more light-hearted and fun than LPRN. It's sweet and powdery, and there's no question it smells slightly of cherry, but it's not obnoxious. The sillage is great and longevity is at least 12 hours. PF is fbw for me, but rather than paying $300/bottle for it, I bought numerous 4ml. samples on eBay. I look forward to trying the rest of this collection. I disagree that this entire line is disappointing. I've also tried Purple Rain, which is a beautiful iris/powder concoction.

Ahhh jadoreee ! Every time I wear it, I feel unique. The combination of these notes is so captivating and sweet that it simply makes me feel good. It’s my signature perfume, suitable for every season and any time of day. At first, the fragrance doesn’t reveal itself much, but later it transforms into a makeup lipstick like scent. It also smells a bit like a scented eraser. It’s a very unique and comforting perfume. When I first tried it, my brain almost struggled to understand how beautiful and different the scent was. It’s truly amazing💕

Right when I spray this on, I can tell, "Yup, that's cherry in there." It isn't a really juicy cherry though. That sweet edge is taken off by iris (calm down, Prada) and very subtle rose. I'm surprised how quiet this rose is. It makes the whole thing radiant and fizzy. As this one wears, the cherry becomes more and more prominent, yet it doesn't become stronger with wear. It's such a cute, innocent fragrance, very light and sweet near the end of its wear.

This is probably the best cherry perfume with iris. I love it. It is humble, tender, intimate, slightly powdery. Smelling very pink. However, the longevity and projection are extremely week. :-( Anyway, I still love it.

Just got my FB. What an adorable scent. First of all, there is Prada exclusive DNA very noticeable - this light and slightly musky iris with champagne fizziness, a distinct theme which I also feel in Cargo Nuit or Tainted Love. So, yes, splashes of sparkles and powdery cherry right from the start. I do agree with a reviewer below that there are similarities with Guerlain Black Perfetto, but again PF is more optimistic and bright. The comparison that comes to mind is PF is a champagne and BP is a denser almost nail polish consistency fluid (if that makes sense). Love/like both Of these houses and perfumes, I would say Prada is more for a day time wear, and Guerlain, if overlaid with PF is an intenser version for the black leather jacket with serious intentions. Remarkably, raspberry and violet are more prominent after about 10 min, when the fizziness has calmed down, and both notes commit a perfect crime by envelopInv you in a sweet and soft gentle powdery cocoon. Very soft, inoffensive and I would say rather feminine scent. No unpleasant sharpness or sour screeching notes here at all - everything is very softly rounded. Cosmetics? Maybe, but a very gentle and uplifting, could probably remind me the lip liner or rather pencil shavings of the lip liner: you know like the one that Bobby Brown used and maybe still sells. For me, those shavings mixed with loose powder (violet raspberry fault I think) combo is what basically stays after the initial 10min fizzy cherry blast. I am very pleased with my new acquisition, a great blind buy. Just to mention I really got it at a bargain price and wouldn’t have ventured at a full RRP . It is pleasant but not a special or an addictive one - it’s a good quality every day for autumn or winter.

Whoops, I smelled this on a whim because of the fun name/pink juice, and now I kinda really want it. My brain was telling me this was grapefruit plus something fluffy-sweet (like a cleaner rose musk or faint dryer sheet) in-store, but I see now that it's predominantly cherry/rose/iris, and I get it. Unfortunately the performance on this is kinda mid and probably won't justify it for most people. Otherwise, a very cute and coy scent, yet doesn't really scream "girly fruity floral" outright since it's got some bright, citric razzle-dazzle, and the rose notes are pretty chill. Not sure about the marketing success of this line, but I imagine this kind of scent profile would be popular in Japan, what with the natural freshness and demure powdery florals. I can't think too hard about the type of beautiful woman who would rock this on the reg, or else I will be down -$300 very soon.

I'll start buy saying that I've finally bought this super pricey fragrance I had been pining over for years - blindly - and I'm incredibly disappointed in Prada. To my nose, it starts with a strong blast of Iso E Super which eventually settles into a powdery cherry. Within 10 minutes it becomes a skin sent that practically stays the same for an hour or so before it's gone. I love the scent, but for the price tag I expected a LOT more performance! This gets a disappointing 3/10 from me.

I own this and tainted love, people seem to be under the impression that they smell the same. They do not. This is a much more intimate. More sparkly, fizzy scent. Think powdered sugar sweets, parma violets, love hearts, that kind of fizzy sweet sour smell. Blends through into clean florals. Sits very close to skin. Not a big sillage by any means. Lovely smell. I got a third of a bottle for a steal on Ebay, i would not by any means pay nearly £300 for this.

I have a generous-sized manufacturer's sample of Pink Flamingos. It's an extremely subtle fragrance, and stays close to the body. I get mostly the iris and light musk. Nothing special.

This is a fun fresh girly perfume you would put on after applying makeup. Violet and cherry dominate. Very fun and hard to find!

A nice Prada lipstick/makeup scent. -

A pink toned synthetic fruity floral. The opening is bright with lemon and bergamot. There is a slight acidity along with a faint artificial edge. The first impression can bring to mind pink soda, hairspray, or styling products sitting on a dressing table. Very quickly, iris begins to appear. The iris here is not the creamy lipstick style powder associated with luxurious cosmetic accords. Instead, it feels cooler and slightly dry, mixed with traces of violet and white musk that create a cosmetic atmosphere. There is also a cherry nuance present, though it does not resemble a realistic cherry. The fragrance has a strangely fashionable quality. It is very obvious that it is not trying to imitate real flowers, fruits, or desserts. It continues the powdery, clean, cool toned structural style often found in the Olfactories series. As the powdery aspect gradually softens, the drydown introduces musk and a diffusive woody note. This part strongly resembles Iso E Super style woody materials. Personally, I am not particularly fond of it.

It’s a nice powdery, sweet lipsticky violet scent for spring summer. I get the same vibes as Guerlain French Kiss. Stays closer to skin with 3-4 hours longevity. Unfortunately not FB worthy for me.

Pink flamingos gives you a clean and polished aura without any specific outstanding notes. I don’t find it too sweet or too girly. It’s in the same vein as the Infusion line: calm, aristocratic, with the powdery iris echo being the core note of all fragrances of this line. The price should also be within the Infusion category.

Anyone who has all 4 of them, could you please tell me the differences between Prada n.14 Rossetto, Prada Lipstick Infusion, Prada Tainted Love and Prada Pink Flamingo? Or even n.7 Violette if you ever smelled it. Is Pink Flamingo much more fruity and complex then Tainted Love ?

I actually wish someone would do a Pink Flamingoes scent made for the iconic Divine!!! It probably wouldn't smell like this does:)
